The manga's alright. Every volume I've ever read was stolen, so I've got no idea how much they cost (though I do think it's slightly higher than the standard $10). That being said, I'll also tell you that, even if I had the money, I wouldn't pay for it. The manga's kinda dull, and not nearly as engrossing as the anime. And the manga has a lot of just filler art (there are a lot of times where the artist half-asses it and just fills, like, half the pages with blood, which is basically huge black blots). So overall, if a friend has them or if you can get scans and you've never seen the anime, then go ahead and check them out. But if you've seen the anime, you're not missing out on anything by not reading the manga.
