Saturn and DreamCast both sank... I can't understand why, cos they were not bad systems at all.
consoles get cheaper quickly though, that's a good thing about 'em. I don't normally get the 'next-gen' stuff til it's been out at least a year, let the back catalog grow a bit and the programming settle

I wasn't around to observe Saturn's downfall well, but Dreamcast sank because it was released too close to the PS2, from my understanding. The mainstream public was too hyped up about the "next-gen" so for the most part, it just looked like a better idea at the time to forget Dreamcast and save for the PS2 instead. Even though, still, I can honestly say I'd rather have a (working) Dreamcast now than the PS2 I do have. |

yep... Sega just couldn't wait. Yet they did exactly the same with the DC as they did with the Saturn, just to get an edge over Sony... they didn't learn and it tanked. |

Hmm.. well id quote many people, but im lazy to do that
First, I like nintendo, but I dont like smash brothers, i hate it actually 2nd. Yeah, im getting a revolution most probably. And Nintendo, unlike Sony or Microsoft, its products are usually good. They dont break down or suddenly by chances of nature stop working 3rd. Mario isnt getting any older than Sonic. Sonic games nowadays arent very good, unlike Mario, that new Super Mario Bros for the DS is pretty good 4th. To false :P, im playing Oblivion right now, kinda good, not that great

I've never had any problems with any of the consoles I've had, be they MS, MD, Saturn, DC, PSX, PS2 or XBox... I can't vouch for Ninty products see, cos I've never had one of their consoles. |

BLASPHEMY! REPENT, SINNER!
That's impossible, due to the wide-open chance that someone else will join the war. As of now, I'd be willing to place my bets on Sony, simply because they're rocketing upward right now what with the PSP and PS3 in the works. I do honestly believe Nintendo will never hold its former place as number 1 ever again just because they often try to maintain their family-friendly appeal. Though this will generally always ensure that they remain in the races. But I respect Nintendo for not really worrying about being number 1, but rather just doing their own thing. |
