I've always thought of this as a generic manga/anime question. I'm growing too old for dealing with stupidity. -_-

Manga is better, but its nice to see our favorate characters moving about.

What i dont like about anime is the voice acting sometimes. they just dont match sometimes and the timing is off sometimes too.

I just don't like anime cause it has altered storyline. I'm a mainstream kinda guy and enjoy the original pieces of art that is manga. :D

they tend to have altered stories 'cos it's tougher to fit a story into 26 episodes of animation than it is to fit it into 500+pages of handrawn artwork. More time for character development and stuff...

Got back from otakon and started watchin the first dvd of negima and man its nice watching the characters move about. Act out the manga sometimes :D

I knoticed something in the first eppy there are random moments where Sayo Aisaka just shows up but its more of a presence then an action.

ps. Ku Fei is so Su from love hina.

[pedantry]You can't prefer both. That's intrinsically impossible. You can like each equally, though.[/pedantry]

I'd say anime. I don't have a lazy visual imagination, but I do like to hear the voices. That's the main thing for me.
You all bez teh suxors!

no-one else knows what's going on on her anyway, so you're in good company :D

Suu-chan = Fei Ku? I'll go with that ^_^ there are startling similarities :su

hmmm....

Manga. I prefer a good read. I spend too much time on the compy, and switching from that to a television screen doesn't give my eyes as much rest as I'm sure they'd like... you get more story out of a manga, plus there's (often) better fanservice...

that said, I don't dislike anime ^_^ Plenty of time for it ^_^

Anime allows to save your imagination for something else.
Manga allows to train your imagination.

Normally I read the manga first and then the anime since their (most of the time anyway) very much alike (does not comply for Negima)

Manga does tend to be better, however I would say anime is beginning to improve.

Besides, it's true... Fitting so many volumes into a few episodes... Well, you do need to shorten the story sometimes, unless of course they decide to make more episodes. Though, that tends to only be the case with things like Naruto, Bleach, ETC. You know, the "Mainstream" anime.
