Defender of MolMol Posts: 8,973 Group: General Member #1 Joined: September 5, 2004	they tend to have altered stories 'cos it's tougher to fit a story into 26 episodes of animation than it is to fit it into 500+pages of handrawn artwork. More time for character development and stuff...

Posts: 50 Group: AWOL Member #92 Joined: July 11, 2006	Got back from otakon and started watchin the first dvd of negima and man its nice watching the characters move about. Act out the manga sometimes I knoticed something in the first eppy there are random moments where Sayo Aisaka just shows up but its more of a presence then an action. ps. Ku Fei is so Su from love hina.

I'll go with that there are startling similarities hmmm.... Manga. I prefer a good read. I spend too much time on the compy, and switching from that to a television screen doesn't give my eyes as much rest as I'm sure they'd like... you get more story out of a manga, plus there's (often) better fanservice... that said, I don't dislike anime Plenty of time for it

Fitting so many volumes into a few episodes... Well, you do need to shorten the story sometimes, unless of course they decide to make more episodes. Though, that tends to only be the case with things like Naruto, Bleach, ETC. You know, the "Mainstream" anime.
