long story.... most of u prob know that im a part time racing driver for subaru. it is my job to make sure the race cars are all in their best conditions before the race, one small little problem with the car can cause the whole team to lose the race, so i normally spend my fri & sat afternoon blasting around the race track with my team mates. So last week friday i did my routine check; drive the car around the track and write a short report on the car's condition and feedback. Just as i was about to leave the race track, I asked my manager if they can change the car for a drag setup, since there is a drag event coming up pretty soon and i want to see how the new setup will effect the car's acceleration. The manager agreed and told the guys to get on with it, later that nite i got a phone call from the mechanics saying that both cars are fully prepared, running on high boost, drag radial setup with new spoilers. By the time i arrived the race track it was already late, me and my mate did a few back to back test on the car and thought that we should take it down to a local quiet street to fuck around with them for a bit. After a few phone calls, couple of my mates rocked up with their own ride and we decided to host our little own drag event there ( between 7 ppl) ,it was done on a very quiet street around the industrial area, naturally we thought that no one would even care about illegal drag race since its already waaaaay past business hours for any shops. BUT WE WERE WRONG, 30min into the race and the pigs rocked up, ready to spoil our fun. At this point i was quite worried, since both of the company's vehicle are not road worthy, meaning that not only we dont have tax license and number plate, but both of the cars are way over the limit of road car's noise level. So running away should be our best option, since we dont want any hassles with the pigs. I jumped in my car, took a sharp left and drove off into a dark alley, now i can see the cops are right behind my arse and i was like "FUCK, these cunts are really trying their luck", so i turned left into an open road that leads me back to the city, i opened up the throttle and i fucked off, leaving the pigs behind with their jaws dropped as i disappeat in a cloud of smoke. while cruising on the highway, i thought that i had them lost completely, but those dick suckers must have called the highway patrol unit or something, cos next thing i know is, 2 black BMW 330i creeped up on me, with a huge vinyl over their side panel that says "SA POLICE SERVICE".. heh.. more like "I SUCK BLACK DICK". At this point i was tired of trying to play chase with them, i have a race car and they got fuck all, so i blipped the throttle, down shift into 3rd and go into full attack mode, the car's turbo spooled up instantly, almost tried to flip the car over cos it was giving out so much power, the car goes into a complete wheel spins for a second or two, slowing me down drastically and at this point the BMWs are right on my back bumper, and just when they are about to catch up (about one car's length behind) the tyres stop spinning, it caught some traction and my car disappeared in front of them. I was nailing it on the straight, averaging about 170mph on the open straight. After that i slowed down a bit, took the offramp on the M4 and headed back to my mate's house. It was close to 1am when i arrived at his place, and after i told him the whole story, he rekons that i should stay at his place, seeing as its friday nite and there are shit loads of pigs and road blocks on the road. We ended up smoking a huge bag of weed and I left his place on sat afternoon. On the way back to the factory i was driving around slowly, trying not to do anything stupid that will cause me attention, but then i ran into a road block... one of the cops there told me to pull over, seeing as i was driving a car without any number plates, at this point i had no where to run, they took my details down, along with my ID and drivers license and the car. This one fat afrikaaner pig told me that my car is not road worthy and they are gonna have to impound it. My heart was bleeding as i watch him drove off, giving it full on the straight abd burning up 4 fat tyres. Later that nite i called my manager, told him the whole story and u can prob guess what happened. The manager was pissed off, giving my thick lectures but luckily nothing serious. He got the car back by wednesday afternoon (no idea how the hell he did that, prob sucked some cop off for that) As for me, my racing license got suspended temporarily, but i should be more than happy about this, especially that i didnt have to spend the weekend in a prison. Anyway, moral of the story is... DONT EVER STOP FOR A ROAD BLOCK! |

no. actually, my job is basically to do test on cars (boring tests) and give feedbacks to the mechanic. Honestly speaking, im not good enough to race for them yet, theyve got their own full-time racer, my job is just to make sure that the car is running properly. |
