Figured I'd put it here, anyways, some of us were talking about Zelda this morning, and curious on everyone's favorite. Mine's one of the most obvious ones, Link to the Past. Partly nostalgia, but I still enjoy running through it as much as the first time, although it takes me far less time to 100% it thesedays, fun as hell still =< Appreciated A Link Between Worlds, just to see that world map used again, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much lol. |

My favorite by far is Zelda 2 for NES. Best combat system out of all Zelda games. Top 5 favorite: 1. Zelda 2 2. BotW 3. Link to the Past 4. Ocarina of Time 5. Link's Awakening 6. Minish Cap I realize that is 6 games, but Minish Cap deserved to be up there. |

You are really reminding me of Fork now. .the only reason I even finished that nightmare of Zelda 2 lol. Was an interesting game, just not my cup of tea. |

One of the best combat systems ever made. And there is a guy who says "I am Error." The game is a dream, not a nightmare. |

Well, you should remember my nightmare well enough. That path to the final dungeon, pure horror. But I'd replay it, just to see if I was any better at it now. |

Don't get me wrong, the Valley of Death is the most bullshit path to a final dungeon in a game, but it does let you get a checkpoint at the Great Palace. It isn't as bullshit as FFIII, which didn't have a checkpoint on the final stretch. I never did beat that game because I died to final boss and when I saw I had to go through the two hours to get there again, I just quit.

lol, the same for me. I have yet to beat FFIII due to that. That valley was insanity. |
