My neighbor recently had his truck converted to Natural Gas so I decided to do a little research on Natural Gas and other methods of fuel. The natural gas conversion can be pricy, but it runs about $1.25 per gallon and gets about the same mileage as gasoline. This could be something good for our country considering The United States has the 4th largest natural gas reserve in the world. Honda even sells a kit now to make your own fueling station at home. Check out this site! The first few articles are gay, but move down to the part about natural gas and about the new volvo they are making which gets about 160 mpg. Lots of other good articles too. |

60% of oil/gas price is pure speculation and not based on any market supply/demand prices. -CNN recently the city of Los Angeles is suing Time Warner for multiple things, one of them being, they were given tax cuts in return for building a fiber optic infrastructure and it turns out they didn't build any infrastructure and reaped all the profits for themselves. We coulda had a full fiber optic infrastructure 10 years ago, imagine the speed. It feels to me like the oil companies are doing the same, getting cuts for promised infrastructure and efficiency then they don't hold up the bargain. After Rita and Katrina lots of refineries were destroyed, mostly in texas and alabama. During that time the government said, You are not allowed to build /rebuild your refinaries, because of the current EPA laws. It took a year / year and a half to finally get the first new refinary built. Me personally, I support all alternatives in energy, though some do produce more energy than others. corn ethanol is weak and wasteful, producing biofuel from the unused husks create more energy per tonnage, then switch blade grass , a native grass in many states, produces more energy per tonnage than husks. Algae produces more energy than grass, etc etc so on and so on. So even though we have alternatives that are better than corn ethanol, why the hell are we pushing for ethanol? I like this site www.ecogeek.com |

So far nobody is pushing for anything. Our country is just sitting back watching it happen and doing nothing. I'm probably going to buy a honda already equipped for natural gas. In the US it's about the best thing you can do right now I think, and I haven't heard of risks like you hear about with water and ethonol. |

I'll be gettin Twin Turbo Bio Diesel Dodge Ram 1 ton Crew Cab Dual wheels, that project will take effect in Late Summer. ~Riski~

rofl noob research more, bio diesel was created in the 1920's been around a lot longer than you think. bio diesel was originally the type of engine henry ford was gonna use for the model T. All diesel engines can be converted to use biodiesel by switching out the tubes for vinyl tubes and getting a heater for the oil. and biodiesel is exactly what i was taking about in my post. talk more shit about things you have no idea about. |

back on subject. I started a 5 year project with a friend, to produce bio diesel. Its looking good. We still need to refine it better which we're working on. Were using lye to check the purity of the diesel in test batches. looking to make enough to fuel our cars. He's buying a new diesel too. and get enough of a surplus to start selling it to other friends with diesel cars. chinese restaurants are the best to get this shit. most fast food places have policies were they're not allowed to give you oil. mostly cause they're under contract to use some specific waste management. but mom and pop places are good. |

suck it up big baby, ffs, fuckin kiddo... since I did my research, I think Dodge Ram is 1 of the best diesel engine since so far, because it already bulid-in first turbo, and having 2nd optional ready to be putted next to it, no need to make any other mods or cutting, more easier to customized ur Diesel engine. GM and Ford doesnt offer a 2nd empty slots turbo Rdy in their stock Diesel engine... only Dodge Rams offer. ~Riski~
