OKayy, I'm curious to know what your guys favorite NFL team... for me, Im supporting New York Jets, and they recently got Brett Favre, and I'm so Hype about seeing him play soon... I can't freakin wait :sport: I choose him better than we had QBs before, he is much better upgrades, and plus, the Jets haven't open up their wallets to spend on free agents for years. This year, they are gonna be biggest suprise to NFL, and the NE gonna :'( Hardcore... BillCheat gonna say "wow..., now that a big challenging to us beside New York Giants!" loL!

Btw, I know eveything in present NFL :P

urgghhh, they wasted Mega Millions contract to Javon Walkers, and he is considering retirement... and their head coach Kiff is pleadin to him not to retire, and try to work out... interesting how it will turn out... he is 1 of the best WR, but shits happen to him alot... seein his teammate die in Denver, got punch out and 2 sugrey on his knees... damnumm, Hope he can return for at least 2 more years.

Beside that, they got best CB duos in NFL, Hall and Asomugha...
McFadden... all eyes on him, seeing if he the next AP (Adrian Peterson)... *for me I think 50-50 depending on O-Lines"

nice 1, but however, worthless to say on this topic, if u want to talk other sports beside NFL, set up new topics, all ur topics are worthless, why not set up NBA topic to make it worthwhile, at least finally?

Naw, the GB already move on with Rogers once Brett Favre retire in off season, but he changed his mind and want to play 1 more year in GB, but GB already told to brett,
Said the Packers, in a joint statement from president Mark Murphy and G.M. Ted Thompson:

“Brett has had a long and storied career in Green Bay, and the Packers owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude for everything he accomplished on the field and for the impact he made in the state. It is with some sadness that we make this announcement, but also with the desire for certainty that will allow us to move the team and organization forward in the most positive way possible.

“We respect Brett’s decision that he could no longer remain here as a Packer. But there were certain things we were not willing to do because they were not in the best interest of the team. We were not going to release him nor trade him to a team within the division. When Brett ultimately decided that he still wanted to play football, but not in Green Bay, we told him that we would work to find the best solution for all parties involved. We wish Brett and his family well.

“We appreciate the tremendous passion shown by our fans. We, like them, always will see Brett Favre as a Green Bay Packer and our respect for him never will change. Moving forward, we are dedicated to delivering a successful 2008 season for all Packers fans.”

“We’re at a stalemate,” Favre told Mortensen. “Mike and I both agreed last night that me being out there is a distraction and will continue to be a distraction. We all know the reason I’m here is because the commissioner reinstated me so we have a lot of things to figure out. It’s simple and complicated, both at the same time.”

“Mike told me, ‘Hey, we’re a better team with you on it’ but wanted to know if I have a problem with an open competition,” Favre said. “I don’t have a problem with competing — you know that, but Aaron should be the starter right now because he’s been out here all this time. This is more than about an open competition and I can do that, absolutely, but this is going to be mass confusion and that’s not good for this team.

“I’ll practice my butt off, if it comes to that, and I think we all know what the end result will be, but this probably isn’t going to work. And I truly understand that if I was in Mike’s shoes, I’d see it basically the same way he sees it, I’m sure. And I think if he was in my shoes, he’d see it my way. I think we both agree on that.

“They want to know if I’m committed but I want to know if they’re 100 percent committed. The problem is that there’s been a lot of damage done and I can’t forget it. Stuff has been said, stories planted, that just aren’t true. Can I get over all that? I doubt it.”

soooo, he gonna start his new Era in New York City... :sport:
btw, GB lowballs him, kinda sad eh?

OoO nicce team... :) sad they couldnt bring his cousin D. Rodgers-Cromartie :( they both if togs, would be the best CB Duos beside Raiders, sadly the SD didnt attempt to trade up during draft time... River shuld play better now since he done rehabbing his knee... he shuld have a breakout this year :jay:

Steve Serby, New York Post

“But Broadway Brett Favre gives the Jets the kind of arm, the kind of presence, the kind of credibility and the kind of hope that Joe Namath gave them 40 long years ago. He gives the Jets their biggest star since Namath, gives the Jets their best chance to overcome Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, makes them a legitimate Super Bowl contender.”

Mike Lupica, New York Daily News

“What Favre does is make the Jets a team to watch again, and that is enough for now.

Somehow, and against the odds, because these are the Jets, it worked out this way Wednesday night: He's 4 New York.”

Warren Sapp, NFL Network Analyst

“He is in the conversation with the greatest that ever played the game. Can he elevate his game when he goes to the Jets and put himself into playoff contention? We’re going to see.”

Judy Battista, New York Times

“The appeal of Favre is obvious: he had a turn-back-the-clock season last year, leading the Packers to the National Football Conference championship game. His arrival likely makes the Jets a viable American Football Conference wild-card team. Even at 38, he is remarkably durable, having started 253 consecutive games.”

Mike Vaccaro, New York Post

“For too long, Jets fans have waited for something this bold, this exciting, this off-the-hook and over-the-top. Good for the Jets. Good for New York. And good for Favre.”

Gary Myers, New York Daily News

“It was a terrific move for the Jets, one they had to make."

Peter King, CNNSI.com
“They'll be the toast of the biggest city in the world for pulling off this deal, on the heels of spending $49.1 million this offseason on bonuses for four veterans expected to kick-start a 4-12 team.

“And for Favre, he'll have to get used to life in New Jersey -- the Jets are moving their practice facility from Long Island to Florham Park, N.J. late this month -- and he'll have to get used to new teammates. "I like their receivers, [Laveranues] Coles and [Jerricho] Cotchery,'' he told me 11 days ago. "I think they've added a lot in free-agency. They're not a bad team.''

William C. Rhoden, The New York Times

“Not only is Favre one of the greatest quarterbacks in N.F.L. history, he is one of the most exciting to watch. Excitement sells, and in light of what the Jets are about to do to their season-ticket holders, excitement is a valuable commodity.

“Will he be good for the Jets as a team? We’ll see.”

Rich Cimini, New York Daily News

“The Jets have pulled off their greatest quarterback coup since luring Joe Namath to the AFL when he left Alabama in 1965.”

Mark Cannizzaro, New York Post

“It's a move that completely alters the face of the Jets franchise and immediately has a chance to make the 2008 season something special. The move gives the Jets their most iconic player since the days of Joe Namath.”

Matt Williamson, ESPN.com

“Brett Favre instantly gives the Jets a vertical passing game they've been lacking for years.”

“There is an awful lot to like about this trade from the Jets' perspective. New England is still the best team in the AFC East, but New York should make a very strong push for a wild-card spot with Favre at the helm.”

Dylan, Gtfo of this forum, u hate NFL, then u shuldnt post here at aLL! IQ of zer0, LawL.
