STAFF Rank: Names (Alphabetical Order) ADMINISTRATORS Owner: Ricci Admin: Dana MODERATORS Commanders: 0/1 (Promotion required) Lieutenants: 0/2 (Promotion required) Ensigns: 0/3 (Please Apply) Alright, so just what do these crazy staff'm folks do? Well, that's easy. Ricci dictates, Dana translates to the moderators, and the moderators do it! Okay, no, just kidding. Everyone does something who is on the staff list, something of more worth than "Hey, you. Do this!" So here's a break down. ADMINISTRATORS Currently a team of three, the Administrator team does not undergo many changes. There are chances that people may be invited to join the team, but for the most part, this is probably a pretty stable set of people. They're the ones responsible for the plots, and pretty much everything else. ADMIRAL Well, there's only one of those. That's Ricci. Ricci is the ultimate decision-maker on the site. If something is questionable, the moderators or admin ultimately go to Ricci for her opinion. And no, it's not because she has a massive ego, and it's not because she likes to type about herself in third person, either. But ultimately, the site's direction is chosen by Ricci. So if you really hate it, talk to Ricci with some ideas, and maybe they'll come to fruition. On a side note, this particular owner really likes to do the nitpicky work of accepting character profiles, and making sure every list is as pretty and neat and nitpickily perfect as possible. Yayyy! CAPTAIN Currently, the admin team consists of...Dana. !! Though that list just might grow one day. Admin are major plot-hatchers, Clutch-creators, skin-changers... and so on. They're the ones that help Ricci keep on top of things most, because members can ask an admin anything, and hopefully the admin will be able to answer to some extent or another. They work as a team. They do... admin...y...things. And that's all anyone can really say about that... or else we'll have to kill you. MODERATORS Now THIS is the exciting part. These are the roles that you can apply for! Well, apply for, and then get promoted to! And every now and then, you might be personally asked to join the team for whatever reason. These jobs can get just as difficult as an administrative job, and as a result, moderating positions are PAID positions. Please read on to see what your wages would be. (OOC position marks are divied up to their characters at will, or kept with their OOC marks). One nice thing about being an Ensign? It's pretty easy to apply and be accepted. Other jobs might get handed to you even as an Ensign that will be added to the list of duties here later and simply weren't thought of at the initial writing of this! And, you can get promoted! ENSIGN - 5 Marks/Month (Variable) Ever wonder how we keep track of everyone's marks? Ensigns! Ensigns are expected to double-check everyone's Marks each month. However, Ensigns are still people, so please be courteous and post your Marks up (as per rules. See Marks information for more). They are expected to verify your salaries and your posts to make sure you aren't missing anything. For those of you who are willing to lose half of your earned marks, they also find all of the posts that you did that are relevant to gaining marks. They will have and maintain their own Marks records thread which the admin or captains will then subsequently work off of. Ensigns are also asked to report any misbehavior to higher admin/staff. Desired Ratio: 1 Ensign/10 Members* +5 Marks/Month if asked to monitor 20 members. ENSIGNS: N/a LIEUTENANT - 10 Marks/Month (Variable) Lieutenants are the first level of defense against site abuse. A Lieutenant is required to keep track of at least 5 forums and monitor that posts are in the correct area (especially those of mature content), and that GodModing and PowerPlaying is being avoided. If warnings have gone unheeded, or if the initial offense is deemed to high, the Lieutenant will notify a Commander or Admin (Admiral or Captain), whoever comes up first, to move or lock the thread. Desired Ratio: 1 Lieutenant/15 Members +1 Mark/Month for every two additional forums monitored. (Admin approval needed) No additional marks for higher ratio. LIEUTENANTS: N/a COMMANDER - 15 Marks/Month (Variable) With full moderator capabilities, a Commander is expected to monitor the advertisements/affiliation board. If a would-be advertiser is found breaking the rules (which are hard to break), they are to delete the advertisement after discussing the issue with the original site's administration. Commanders have full list editing capabilities, and are expected to keep all lists updated if the Admin have not already done so. Captains also have all Lieutenant responsibilities and are expected to moderate 5 forums. Additionally, Captains may be asked to moderate the CBOX. Desired Ratio: 1 Captain/4 Total Moderators COMMANDER N/a Application for Ensign Position - No Experience Needed(Please Private Message to Ricci for Review)
