I am really enjoying this so far. Even the more jobberish guys are getting some character. Palumbo with the biker gimmick is a nice touch. I'm eager to see how you use Copani as he had a lot of potential with his gimmick and with this one. I kind of hope he isn't a full on heel.

Good to see you keeping Manu strong in defeat and the main event was a pleasant surprise. I figured the two could go but they really meshed well in your game.

I've been reserved in my reading of this for the most part. You took a really cool idea, and while I haven't agreed 100% with some of the gimmicks (I was expecting more old school ones), I have to say that PPV rocked. Great flow, awesome storylines, and I already can't wait for the next one.

Keep it up Ron.

WWE:PST Flashback
Wednesday September 1st

Lord Edgar Von Grasshopper IV
www.wrestlenewz.com

Just came home from the 1 Month Anniversary Show for PST. It wasn't a bad show plus it was the END of round 1!!

We open the show with Mike Adamle in the ring. Adamle talks about the success of the first PPV, and says that Sweet 16 will be even better. Adamle says he does have one issue however and that is Carlito. He mentions how Carlito needs to stop interfering and cheap attacks. So tonight, Carlito will face Booker T in an opponent picks the partner tag match! Carlito will pick Booker T's partner and Booker T will pick Carlito's partner for tonight's main event!

Brent Albright d. ERIC Angle in a First Round Tournament Match. Albright came out and awaited his opponent, and they made it seem like Kurt Angle would be his opponent, hyping ANGLE next. But alas it was Eric Angle who came out and was beaten by Albright.

Backstage, Carlito is with Mongo. Mongo asks who Carlito is going to pick for Booker T's partner. Carlito says he is going to pick one of the best superstars in the back because he wants a challenge. So Booker T's partner is going to be.... Barry Horowitz!

Bob Holly d. Gillberg in a First Round Tournament Match. This was really not a contest at all as Holly easily advances.

H2O comes to the ring to brag about all 3 advancing to the 2nd Round. Maven mentions how great they are and says that they now have a 3 in 32 shot at walking out with the belt.

Paul Burchill d. Glen Ruth in a First Round Tournament Match. Very good match, suprisingly. Burchill still playing up his 'Pirate Paul' gimmick. Burchill advances after his C-4.

Booker T is in the back with Mongo and Barry Horowitz. Booker says it doesn't matter who his partner is because he will win regardless. So Booker wants to try and even things up, so let's give Carlito.... Colin Delaney!

Goldberg d. 2 Cold Scorpio in a First Round Tournament Match. Disappointing match as Goldberg seems limited. 2 Cold missed a splash from the top and Goldberg hit the spear to advance. After the match, Honky and Evan jump the guardrail and jump Goldberg.

Too Cool are walking towards the ring when they are suddenly jumped by The Horsemen. The Horsemen beat them down and leave them out cold. Flair tells them to know their place.

Adamle is in the back with Evan Karagias. Adamle says he has had enough. He is all ready making Carlito and Booker fight because of the attacks, and well, Next Wednesday in a STEEL CAGE, Evan will take on Goldberg!!!

Main Event Time. Carlito and Colin Delaney d. Booker T and Barry Horowitz. Carlito and Booker fought each other most of the time as did Delaney and Barry. The end comes after Booker is attacked on the outside by Justin Credible, and Carlito hits a backstabber on Horowitz.

SOOOO Just wanted to put the 1st up Quickly to finally get me through round 1. Now I can start to progress some of the other stuff I want to get moving....

Matches
Albright d. Eric Angle 64/53/70 MOTN
Holly d. Gillberg 56/49/63
Burchill d. Ruth 63/58/84 WRESTLING OF THE NIGHT
Goldberg d. 2 Cold Scorpio 62/58/66
Carlito and Delaney d. Booker T and Horowitz 62/63/62

UPDATED TOURNAMENT BRACKET AFTER ROUND 1!!!!! can be found HERE (TOURNAMENT BRACKET)

In other news.....

Following the 9/1 show, PST has come to terms on the releases of the following superstars:

Barry Horowitz
Kung Fu Naki
Eric Perez
Gillberg

Somewhat surprising is the Gillberg firing as he was just involved in one of the angles the company is running. However inside sources have stated that all 4 were released because there was too much talent and not enough spots.

WWE:PST
Wednesday September 8th, 2010

The show opens with a replay of last week and Honky and Evan jumping Goldberg, and flashes pieces of the feud they've had thus far. Then there is the audio of Adamle announcing that Karagias - Goldberg - Cage!!! And we are live and the cage is shown over the ring

Scott Hudson - Welcome everyone to WWE:PST! Tonight we have a great show for you, the round of 32 will begin with 5 big matches and we have a Main Event Cage match where Bill Goldberg will hopefully enact his revenge.

Todd Pettingill - That's right Scott, tonight proves to be a big night, and we will get our first 5 competitors for our Sweet Sixteen PPV!

SH - Yes Todd, and there is going to be 2 of those matches...

As Hudson is talking he is interrupted by the music of Justin Credible... Credible walks to the ring with an angry look on his face and a mic in his hand. Credible steps into the ring and begins speaking.

Credible - My name is Justin Credible. And I am the most Incredible athlete we have in our locker room. Yet week in and week out, I am disrespected. I mean hell, prior to this week Gillberg was getting more TV time than I was. So I'm out to change this. I am sick and tired of being overlooked by everyone. So last week I made my first statement. I came out and showed Booker T that I will not allow my loss at Open For Business to stand. So Booker, I am here waiting for you. I want a fight and you better answer my challenge. But since I know Booker T is too scared to fight me tonight, I am laying an open challenge to ANYONE in the back to come out here and try, just TRY to beat Justin Credible.

As Justin waits no one comes out. Finally, Brent Albright's music hits and 'The Shooter' walks towards the ring. Justin begins laughing looking at Albright but the ref rings the bell and the match begins...

Justin Credible Open Challenge
Justin Credible vs. Brent Albright

The two lock up and Albright shoves Credible straight to the mat much to the applause of the crowd. Credible rolls to the outside and starts screaming. Credible is followed by Albright who grabs him and rolls him to the inside, however Credible is up and puts the boots to Albright as he tries to get back into the ring, stalling Albright's offense. Credible goes on the offense for much of the remainder of the match, working primarily on Albright's arm. Credible worked over Albright's right arm hindering his chances of hitting one of his finishers. The ending comes however when Credible has Albright set up for That's Incredible, but Albright wiggles out and lands behind Credible and locks him into a Half Nelson, Credible fights out and charges at Albright who catches Credible with a Belly-to-Belly Overhead suplex, Albright gets the 3 count and the win! After the match, Credible jumps Albright from behind and throws him into the ring post. Credible continues to work over Albright's arm on the outside until security pulls him off.
Winner - Brent Albright

We head to the back where Mongo is standing by with Brian Lawler and Scott Taylor

Mongo: Scott, Brian, lately David Flair and the rest of the Horsemen have taken a disliking to you. Now as a former Horseman myself, I know what it is all about being one of them.... how are you guys going to get back at them.

Lawler: Mongo, Mongo, Mongo. We are one of the greatest Tag Teams in the history of the WWE. We are not scared of a bunch of guys who have never accomplished anything in their entire careers. But if they want a fight, they are going to get one. Because we just spoke with GM Adamle and he has booked, Too Cool against The Naturals for next Wednesday.

Taylor: (mockingly) And to be the BEST, you gotta BEAT THE BEST... 'WHOOO'

Scott Hudson: We are back at ringside folks and Brent Albright is still being helped to the back, clutching his right arm. Justin Credible is dispicable. He can't beat anyone so he tries to injure them.

Todd Pettingill: Well, it's his strategy Scott. And I'd watch what you say before he comes after you next.

SH: If he lays a hand on me I will make sure he is fired on the spot. But in other developments we will have a tag team clash between Too Cool and The Naturals next Wednesday!

TP: And up next our first 2nd round Championship match...

Honky Tonk Man d. Chaz Warrington in a decent match to advance Honky to the Sweet 16 PPV. The end came when Evan helped Honky cheat to win.

Backstage, there was an interview with Booker T. Booker not only told Justin Credible that he didn't want to waste his time on someone who isn't up to his level, so when he can win a match or two, to come talk to Booker. Booker also then told Carlito that it's on, and can you DIG that?

David Flair d. Vito in a Round of 32 match, so David Flair will meet the Honky Tonk Man in our first match at the Sweet 16 PPV. Flair used all of his dad's old moves to secure the victory and continue his whole taking over the 'Dirtiest Player in the Game mentality'

Shelton Benjamin d. Aaron Aguilera in a Round of 32 match. Really no contest here as Shelton easily advanced over the 'AA' of the 4 Horsemen.

Kip James d. Rob Conway in a Round of 32 match. A really good match, can't wait until they flesh out some characters after the (ridiculously) long title tournament.

In the back Mongo is with Kenn Doane. Doane says it was unfortunate what happened to Jaden Jeter a few weeks ago. But it was not his intention to screw him over. Doane was just scouting the competition that night, and Jeter just happened to want to stare and yell at him. Doane regrets what happend to Jaden, and hopes they can be friends in the future....

BG James d. Ricky Ortiz in a Round of 32 match. Oh you didn't know? The Outlaws both advance to the Sweet 16, while Ricky Ortiz is going to be future endeavored most likely ;).

Bill Goldberg d. Evan Karagias in a steel cage match. In a surprisingly even match, Goldberg goes over. Karagias took the early advantage by attacking Goldberg while Honky distracted him, but it slowly turned into a piece by piece destruction of Evan Karagias by Goldberg. Goldberg wins with spear and Jackhammer as Honky is watching on the outside, and Goldberg mouths 'YOU'RE NEXT' as the show ends.

Eh, I don't mind shorter match results. I don't really care as much about if Kip James did an armbar or whatever. I'm more interested in the progress of storylines and characters which you get across fine in this format.

Keep up the good work.

Danny Basham and Mike Knox DRAW in a Round of 32 match. This was a pretty decent and brutal contest between Basham and Knox, they both toppled over the ropes and fought on the outside until they were counted out and neither will advance, what that means is that the winner of the Carlito/Haas main event gets a free pass into the Elite 8.

Bob Backlund comes strutting towards the ring in a suit. Backlund says that he has now retired from in-ring competition, but that does not mean he is going away. He says he is looking for someone to be the FUTURE of this company, and to be a star, and to be the NEXT American Hero... Backlund says that he is on the hunt for someone who fits this mold.

Orlando Coleman d. Jimmy Wang Yang in a Round of 32 match. Coleman and Yang had a nice fast-paced match, but Coleman used his power and stole the victory.

Booker T pulls up in his car but as he goes to get out, his door is slammed on him. It's Carlito who has jumped Booker. Carlito pulls Booker out of his car and throws him into the door. With Booker laying up against the car, Carlito hits a kick and then turns to walk away but instead rolls a cart into Booker, squashing him between the two. Carlito then picks up Booker and throws him through the driver's side window. Carlito walks off laughing as paramedics come and help Booker T.

The Naturals d. Too Cool when Aaron Aguilera interfers. Douglas scores the victory over Taylor after Aguilera distracts him to allow for the cheap win. After the match, the Horsemen beat down on Too Cool.

Maven is in the back and he tells everyone that he is the REAL FUTURE in PST. He mentions how he was the 1st Tough Enough winner and he will be the 1st WWE:PST Champion. And that washed up 'Rocker' isn't going to stop him....

Maven Huffman d. Marty Jannetty in a Round of 32 match. It was a good contest, but as Maven said in his promo he really is the future tho Jannetty should continue to be a solid hand.

Backstage, Manu Anoai continues his tirade against the Snuka family. Anoai again berates the Snuka family by saying they have never won a damn thing and that the Anoai family is the greatest family in wrestling history. And that Manu Anoai will show everyone why.

Scott Steiner d. Trevor Murdock in a Round of 32 match. Murdock really didn't stand a chance.

Goldberg is talking with Mongo in the back about his win last week when he is nailed from behind by a guitar. Evan and Honky beat down on Goldberg and throw him into the set, until being pulled off of him.

Carlito d. Charlie Haas in a Round of 32 match. In a really good match, Carlito squeaks a victory over Charlie Haas. Both men put out a great effort, but in the end, Carlito nailed the Backstabber and took the victory.

Brent Albright d. Bob Holly in a Round of 32 match. In a SHOCKER, Albright advances over Holly, in a really good match. Most probably expected Holly to easily advance, but Albright shocked and nailed a spinebuster out of nowhere to steal the victory. After the match however, Justin Credible hit the ring and beat down on Albright.

Booker T is in the back and has bruises and cuts all over his face from last week. Booker also has his arm in a sling, but he vows to compete tonight. He will not let Carlito screw him out of the World Title, and that he will win tonight Carlito had better watch his back.

Shane Helms d. Junior Snuka in a Round of 32 match when Manu Anoai interferes. Manu continues his assault after the match as Helms just walks away celebrating.

Bob Backlund comes to the ring and says he has FOUND the man who will lead PST into the future. Someone who has such a great lineage that he is a TRUE American Hero!!

Kenn Doane d. Rene Dupree in a Round of 32 match. A good contest, but Doane wins via DQ after Jeter runs in and nails him with a chair. Dupree gets a matter of revenge after however, when he nails Jeter with the chair himself.

Goldberg is on his way out to the ring with added security so that Evan and Honky will NOT attack him. Goldberg gets escorted to the ramp until two of the officers turn and begin beating on Goldberg. The officers throw Goldberg into the guardrails and continue their assault. The officers take off their helmets to show themselves to be Honky and Evan. As the REAL security pulls them apart, Paul Burchill sprints down the aisle and jumps Goldberg.

Paul Burchill d. Goldberg in a Round of 32 match. With Goldberg beaten down Burchill took clear advantage and hit his C-4 for an easy UPSET victory.

Tajiri d. Rick Steiner in a Round of 32 match. A decent contest, with Tajiri continuing his cinderella run. Going from not in the company to the Sweet 16. Tajiri slid out of a bulldog attempt and hit the Buzzsaw kick for the 3.

After the match, Steiner was walking up the ramp when he was jumped by his brother's opponent on Sunday, Maven Huffman! Huffman attacked the Dog-Faced Gremlin until Scott ran out and chased Maven off. Scott and his brother embrace as Scott is turned a face in the process.

Backstage Too Cool are standing by with Mongo. They mention how after last week's screw job, they went to GM Adamle, and Adamle has granted them a 6-Man tag match this Sunday if they could find a partner, so they had to find someone as COOL as them, so this Sunday it will be The Naturals and Double A vs. Too Cool and 2 COLD SCORPIO

Booker T d. Lance Cade in a Round of 32 match. Booker was visibly weak after last week's brutal attack, but Cade, who was on the offense most of the match, got cocky, allowing Booker to nail a Book End and advance to Sunday's PPV.

Sunday September 26th

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
The Honky Tonk Man w/ Evan Karagias vs. 'The Dirtiest Player in the Game' David Flair w/ 'Double A' Aaron Aguilera
- I'll go with Flair. As much as I am enjoying Honky, I expect Goldberg to feed him his revenge at the next PPV.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
BG James vs. Shelton Benjamin
- I'll say BG James, just to get an old vet into the Elite 8 and possibly build to a New Age Outlaws showdown.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Kip James vs. Orlando Coleman
- One of Maven's boys finally drops out here. Kip has more upside.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Maven Huffman vs. Scott Steiner
- I'll pick Maven, but I hope to see some more of Steiner too.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Kenn Doane vs. Tajiri
- Tajiri keeps his 'Cinderella' gimmick when Jeter costs Doane his spot.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Shane Helms vs. Booker T
- Booker has to go over. Him 7 Carlito/Maven all needs to happen.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Brent Albright vs. Paul Burchill
- I'll say Brent Albright. Either making the Elite 8 is a shock, but if you went this far with him I don't see why not push Albright even further.

Six-Man Tag Grudge Match
The Four Horsemen (The Naturals and 'Double A' Aaron Aguilera vs. Too Cool and 2 Cold Scorpio
- I'll say the Horsemen by way of cheating.

Bob Backlund introduces the Future!

Bonus Questions:
1. What is the Main Event?
Booker T & Shane Helms, has the most heat and possibly your top draw.
2. Who is Backlund's Mystery Client?
I'll guess Charlie Haas. He fits the American Hero shtick and I can see him in a traditionalist role.
3. Will Carlito appear?
Yes, I would guess he would.
4. Who takes the fall in the Six-Man Tag?
Scotty, like he usually does :shifty:

PS: Please don't fire Ricky. He has a lot of comedic heel potential with his whole Rally Up thing. Just pair him with a cheerleader (Male is fine) and watch the ratings EXPLODE.

SHANE HELMS - 'Stand Back, Shane Helms is coming'
ORLANDO COLEMAN - 'O.C. - Original Champion, nice ring, right?'
SCOTT STEINER - 'First PST Champion, Holla if ya hear me'
HONKY TONK MAN - 'I'm going to Shake, Rattle, and Roll my way to a World Title'
TAJIRI - 'Tajiri san World Champion'

The video ends as wer scan around the arena and stop on Todd Pettingill and Scott Hudson.

Scott Hudson: Welcome everyone to WWE:PST Sweet 16. After tonight, we will have our Final 8 Superstars who will all clash in one month on Halloween Night, at Championship Quest.

Todd Pettingill: It is getting closer and closer, and we all ready have 1/8 of the field as Carlito has advanced thanks in part to the Draw between Basham and Knox. And tonight, 7 more men will join him.

SH: That's right Todd, but we have some terrible news, The Honky Tonk Man has been injured this past Wednesday in his assault on Goldberg. There has been no word on what will happen to David Flair because of this.

TP: Let's get right to the action Scott as I hear the music of Tajiri

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Kenn Doane vs. Tajiri

Tajiri comes to the ring to a decent pop, followed by Kenn Doane who comes out to boos. Doane soaks up the heat and struts to the ring. Doane charges right at Tajiri but gets a kick to the midsection. Tajiri then goes to work and whips Doane to the ropes and nails a knife-edge chop causing Doane to keel over in pain. Tajiri is sizing Doane up for a kick, but Doane rolls out of the ring. Doane puts his finger to his head celebrating his smart idea, until Tajiri reaches outside and grabs Doane, pulling him up onto the apron. Doane however rakes the eyes and grabs Tajiri's head and jumps off the apron to give Tajiri a guillotine on the top rope. Tajiri falls back as Doane slides back in and begins putting the boots to him Doane starts bragging as he picks up Tajiri and goes to whip him into the turnbuckle, but Tajiri counters and sends Doane in. Tajiri charges, but Doane gets a foot up and nailes Tajiri with a big boot. Doane goes to the 2nd turnbuckle and jumps off but is caught with a kick to the stomach, sending him down. Tajiri then hits Doane with a flurry of kicks to the back and midsection and finally hits a running dropkick on a seated Doane. Tajiri goes for the cover but Doane kicks out. Tajiri gets up and is sizing up Doane for the Buzzsaw kick, but Doane rolls out of the ring. Tajiri goes after Doane, but Doane pulls Tajiri out of the ring by the leg and whips him into the guardrail. Doane begins walking around the ring when Jaden Jeter begins walking towards ringside. Doane sees this and slides into the ring getting away from Jeter. Jeter walks to ringside and walks over to the time keeper. Jeter grabs a chair and sits at ringside watching. Doane is looking at Jeter screaming, asking him why he is here. While this is going on, Tajiri has gotten into the ring behind Doane. Tajiri attempts to lock Doane in a full nelson, but Doane elbows Tajiri and brakes the attempt. Doane then gets behind Tajiri and runs him into the ropes going for a roll-up. Doane runs Tajiri into the ropes, but Tajiri grabs on and Doane rolls back, Tajiri quickly turns and nails the Buzzsaw kick on Doane! Tajiri covers, 1...2..NO! Doane gets a shoulder up as Jeter gets out of his seat. Tajiri is up and the crowd is behind him. Tajiri notices Jeter and looks at him for a moment but Jeter just nods his head, and Tajiri turns to lift Doane up. Tajiri gets Doane to his feet and is measuring him for another Buzzsaw, Tajiri goes to kick but Doane ducks and Tajiri spins, allowing Doane to hit a clothesline to the back of Tajiri's head. Doane is up and kicking Tajiri in the back as Jeter gets closer towards the ring. Doane ignores him this time and picks up Tajiri for a belly to back suplex, that Tajiri blocks. Tajiri nails an elbow to Doane's chin and spins around going for yet another Buzzsaw but Doane ducks and Tajiri gets caught in the ropes. Doane nails a clothesline, but Tajiri is still in the ropes, so Doane hits another, and another. Finally, Doane hooks Tajiri into a Swining Neckbreaker, driving Tajiri right into the mat. Doane quickly covers and gets the 1...2...3!! Doane jumps up celebrating as Jeter just watches on. Doane locks eyes who Jeter who gives him a golf clap and he walks away.
Winner - Kenn Doane

Scott Hudson: What a great opening match, and a tough result for the Japanese Buzzsaw Tajiri. But Todd, I need to ask, what was going on with Jaden Jeter? Is he really going to accept Doane's shout out to be friends again?

Todd Pettingill: I'm not sure Scott, but I hope we can get an answer sooner rather than later.

SH: If that match was any indication for the night we are in for, it is going to be a great one.... but folks... wait a second, we have word that something has just happened backstage...

We cut to the backstage area where BG James is laying on the concrete in a pool of blood. Paramedics and security are surrounding James who is lying motionless. Kip James is standing with security and the paramedics screaming, 'Who did this?' James is put onto the stretcher and put into an ambulance as Kip vows to him, 'I will find out who did this.'

SH: BG....BG James has been brutally attacked backstage Todd, who could have done it? Was it Shelton Benjamin, his opponent tonight?

TP: That would be who my money is on. If so a brilliant strategy on his part, but... and here comes GM Adamle I hope to fix this situation.

Mike Adamle: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention please.. As you have just seen, BG James has been taken to the hospital. I am hereby making a Executive Decision, that BG James will forfeit his Sweet 16 match with Shelton Benjamin tonight, and Benjamin will now advance due to the forfeit. This is not something I want to do, but until we know the extent of James' injuries, I will not allow him to compete. HOWEVER, because I am making this decision, BG James is guarenteed a Wotld Title Match, good for one year, whenever he may come back!!! (fans cheer). However, that is not the only reason I am out here. Unfortunately for the Honky Tonk Man he was injured earlier this week and will miss tonight's show. He is not here tonight so I have to make a decision about his match with David Flair. Rather than give David Flair a Bye, I have found a replacement to take The Honky Tonk Man's place. So up next it will be David Flair vs. EVAN KARAGIAS!!!

As Adamle is done talking, David Flair struts out with Aguilera and gives Adamle a dirty look as he walks towards the ring.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
David Flair vs. Evan Karagias (HTM injury replacement)

Flair gets into the ring and gives a WHOOOO while having an angry look on his face. Evan's music hits and he begins walking towards the ring, however he is attacked from behind by GOLDBERG!!!! Goldberg is like a madman beating down Karagias. Goldberg sends Karagias into the guardrail and nails a SPEAR onto Evan into the rail. Goldberg then picks up Karagias and gives him a JACKHAMMER on the concrete. Goldberg then drags Karagias to the rind and rolls him in. Flair yells at the ref to ring the bell, and he does so reluctantly as Flair pins Karagias, 1...2...3! Flair jumps up and celebrates Aguilera as Goldberg gets back into the ring with a steal chair. Goldberg puts the chair on the mat and hits another Jackhammer on Karagias onto the chair. Goldberg jumps up and screams as the fans chant 'Goldberg' as Goldberg walks out of the ring.
Winner - David Flair

Scott Hudson: REVENGE! Goldberg has just gotten even on Honky and Evan after they screwed him out of the Championship Tournament.

Todd Pettingill: Even tho they deserved it, that was a brutal beating by Goldberg, and I hope he gets punished.

SH: Todd, Evan and Honky have been terrorizing Bill Goldberg for 2 months, and they haven't even gotten a slap on the wrist. I think fair is fair. In any event, we now have half of our field for next month's Championship Quest PPV, where 8 men will enter, and 1 will walk out the 1st WWE:PST World Heavyweight Championship. So Far, Carlito, Kenn Doane, Shelton Benjamin, and David Flair have advanced. And 4 men out of Maven Huffman, Shane Helms, Orlando Coleman, Booker T, Paul Burchill, Brent Albright, Scott Steiner, and Kip James will join them.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Kip James vs. Orlando Coleman

Coleman is out first with a giant smile on his face. Coleman struts to the ring chanting 'H2O' and the fans are not having any of it. Kip James is out next looking like a man possessed. James gets into the ring screaming at Coleman, WAS IT YOU?, getting into Coleman's face until the ref steps in between them. The ref rings the bell and James goes right for Coleman, and Coleman runs out of the ring getting away from James. Coleman runs around the ring as James continues to chase him, and finally Coleman slides into the ring and James is in next but Coleman starts putting the boots to him. Coleman takes the advantage and begins working over James' left arm. Coleman locks James into an armbar but James reaches the rope and causes a break. Coleman quickly kicks James in the shoulder, and goes to work over the arm again. Coleman attempts to lock James in an armbar again, but James again gets to the ropes to break it up. James slides out of the ring and Coleman follows. Coleman charges behind James and runs his shoulder right into the ringpost. Coleman then picks up James and lays his arm over the steel steps, and drops a knee onto the arm. James falls back writhing in pain and screaming. Coleman picks up James and rolls him into the ring. Coleman non-chalantly slides in after James and begins taunting the crowd. Coleman goes to pick up James, but James headbutts Coleman's midsection fighting him off. James gets to his feet and nails a dropkick sending Coleman to the outside. Coleman slams the apron as he is angered by what has transpired. Coleman walks around to gather himself as he gets up onto the apron slowly. James goes after him but Coleman jumps off the apron again and James attempts to go after him but Coleman slides in the ring and takes James down. Coleman is then sizing James up and charges, but James catches him with a hiptoss. James then hits another dropkick, and waits for Coleman to get up and nailed a Piledriver. James picks up Coleman again and hits the One and Only and covers Coleman but only gets a two. Coleman is slow to get up allowing James to hit the FameAsser and score the victory.
Winner - Kip James

Scott Hudson: Kip James with a victory out of nowhere. Coleman controlled most of the match, but James was able to over come... and here comes James right now...

Kip James: Scott, Todd, I will not rest until I find who jumped BG. Tell Shelton Benjamin I'm looking for him next. I know it was him. I'm coming...

Todd Pettingill: Strong words Scott, I believe in Kip. Someone is going to pay for the assault on BG James.

SH: From, Kip James' revenge mission, we move on to the most unlikely of Sweet 16 matches, as Brent Albright will meet Paul Burchill. Both men have taken different routes here, with Burchill getting some help this past Wednesday to advance over Bill Goldberg.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
'The Shooter' Brent Albright vs. Paul Burchill

Burchill is out first screaming 'Arrgh' to the crowd to a round of boos. Burchill grabs microphone and vows to make Albright 'WALK THE PLANK' , but before he can continue, Albright's music hits and the upstart walks to the ring on a mission to a mediocre pop. Albright gets into the ring but is nailed by a cheapshot from Burchill. Burchill yells 'Arrgh' and the fans boo but he continues to pummel Albright until Albright gets to the ropes. Burchill begins skipping around the ring and yells 'YO HO HO' which gets another round of boos. As Albright gets up Burchill charges, but Albright falls back and pulls down the top rope causing Burchill to hit the outside hard. Burchill is slow getting up and the ref is making the count, 1,2,3,4,5,6 and finally Burchill is to his feet and at 8 finally gets back into the ring. Burchill is quickly nailed by an elbow drop from Albright. Albright is up quickly and locks on a camel clutch. But just as soon as it is locked on, Burchill gets a leg in the ropes. Albright is up and goes to pick Burchill up but Burchill nails Albright with a low blow that goes unseen by the ref. Birchil hits a scoop slam on Albright and again screams 'Argh' as he goes to pick up Albright, but Albright catches Burchill in a roll up and scores the quick 3! Albright jumps up and celebrates as Burchill starts screaming. Albright walks up the aisle to the cheers of the fans.
Winner - Brent Albright

Scott Hudson: Albright does it again! Brent Albright has shocked everyone and is now in the Elite 8!! I can't believe the hot streak this kid is on.

Todd Pettingill: Lady luck seems to be on his side Scott, but how long can it last.

SH: Folks, it is now time to take a break from our Championship Tournament for a grudge match. The reformed Four Horsemen have been attacking Too Cool since we opened our doors last month, and Too Cool has fought back, and tonight they team with 2 Cold Scorpio to see if they can get some revenge.

Six-Man Tag Grudge Match
The Four Horsemen (The Naturals and 'Double A' Aaron Aguilera) vs. Too Cool and 2 Cold Scorpio

Too Cool and Scorpio are out first to a good pop. The three are dancing on their way to the ring when suddenly The Naturals and Aguilera attack! David Flair also runs out but is just yelling orders as the Naturals and AA are beating down on Too Cool and Scorpio. The brawl continues in the aisle and they begin to walk towards the ring. The assault is too much for Lawler is is laid out in the aisle as the Horsemen drag Taylor and Scorpio towards the ring. The Horsemen roll Scorpio into the ring but the Naturals both throw Taylor into the post and all four slide into the ring. The Horsemen all stand over Scorpio and yell at the ref to start the match. The ref refuses at first, but as Aguilera gets in his face he finally relents and begins the match. AA quickly covers Scorpio but Scorpio kicks out!! Aguilera picks up Scorpio and throws him to the Naturals. The Naturals hold up Scorpio as Aguilera sizes him up for a big boot but before he can do it, Lawler sprints into the ring and takes out AA! The Naturals go to help Aguilera but 2 Cold fights out of their grasp and throws one into the other. Flair swings at Scorpio but Scorpio ducks and Taylor nails a dropkick from the outside! Flair rolls to the outside as Too Cool send the Naturals out of the ring and all 3 attack Aguilera. The three beat down Aguilera and 2 Cold climbs to the top and hits the Scorpio Splash as Too Cool makes sure the Naturals and Flair don't re-enter to give them the win!
Winners - Too Cool and 2 Cold Scorpio

Scott Hudson: Yes! Revenge! Too Cool and Scorpio who were brutally attacked before this turned around on the Horsemen, sweet revenge.

Todd Pettingill: Relax Scott, I bet the issue is not over between the Horsemen and Too Cool.

SH: Speaking of issues, the next Championship tournament match will involve Maven Huffman of H2O who has taken issue with the Steiner Brothers lately, which has reunited the once estranged duo.

Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Maven Huffman vs. Scott Steiner

Steiner is out first to a round of applause. Steiner is jumping around the ring waiting as Maven walks out to boos. Maven is walking with an air of cockiness and gets in the ring and yells something at Steiner. Steiner goes after Maven but the ref holds him apart and Maven nails a cheap shot to the face of Steiner and Maven pushes the ref out of the way as Maven goes to work on Scott. Maven continues his assault and will not let up on Scott even when he is in the ropes. The ref starts counting to 5 to make Maven break off but it seems as if he won't break the count but finally does at 4. Maven then kicks Scott in the back of the head as the fans boo. Maven cracks a giant smile as the ref pulls him off of Scott, and again charges at Scott kicking him out of the ring. Maven screams at the ref 'Count him out' as the ref begins, 1234 but Scott is back in by 5. Maven again goes to work and picks up Scott to whip him into the ropes but Scott reverses it and nails a short-arm clothesline. Scott then lifts Maven off the mat and locks in a bearhug. Maven tries fighting out by headbutting Scott, but Scott just holds on. Maven finally breaks free by raking the eyes. Maven then charges at Scott but nailes a shoulder block sending Maven down and Maven rolls to the outside. Maven is screaming at himself as Scott comes to the outside and catches Maven with a clothesline. Scott then picks up Maven and throws him into the guardrail and Maven attempts to crawl away. Scott steps on Maven's leg to stop him from crawling away. Scott picks up Maven but Maven reverses an irish whip and sends Scott into the ringsteps. Maven then crawls away towards the announce table as Scott is slow to get up. Maven breaks up the refs count by rolling in but quickly rolls back out and begins to walk towards Scott, but Scott is up and nails a right to the head. Scott nails a left and then bodyslams Maven to the concrete. Scott then picks up Maven to give him a belly-to-belly onto the announce table but Maven blocks it so Scott just rams Maven's back into the apron. Scott then rolls Maven into the ring but Orlando Coleman comes sprinting to ringside and runs at Scott. Scott however hits an elbow to Coleman sending him down. And hits a headbutt as Coleman goes to get up. Steiner throws Coleman over the announcers table Steiner then turns to get into the ring but Maven hits a dropkick tangling Scott into the ropes. Maven quickly is up and sets Scott up for a DDT from the ropes. Maven drills Scott's head into the mat and gets the 3!
Winner - Maven Huffman

Scott Hudson: Maven just stole one there thanks to his crony Orlando Coleman.

Todd Pettingill: Either way Scott, Maven is our 7th entry into the Elite 8. So far we have Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Brent Albright, Kip James, David Flair, Kenn Doane, and now Maven. Only one more slot to go.

Scott Hudson: And that will be filled by either Shane Helms or Booker T after our Main Event, which is up nex...

Suddenly Hudson is cut off by the sound of Bob Backlund's music. Backlund struts out to the ring with a giant smile on his face and he gets into the ring with a mic in hand.

Bob Backlund: I told you all! I told all of you! I told you that tonight I would unveil the future American Hero!!! I don't want to waste any time, so I will only tell you that he is a TRUE American. A direct decendent of George Washington, ladies and gentleman, the Next American Hero, GEORGE WASHINGTON KRUEL!!!

Hail to the Chief hits and George Washington Kruel (Mike Kruel) walks towards the ring in a powedered wig, and a flag draped across his back. Kruel gets into the ring and stands next to Backlund, who begins to speak again.

Bob Backlund: Standing before you is the Next American Hero. He is going to bring pride, honor, and glory back to this company and..

Suddenly, Backlund is cut off by Mark Copani's music and Copani walks towards the ring with a look of disgust on his face.

Mark Copani: Are you insane? Mr. Backlund, I appreciate what you have done for this business but George Washington Kruel? This man does not belong in a ring. Besides he is a decendent of one of the biggest frauds in American history. He was nothing but a traitor and a turncoat, who went against the King to help a country that would become the apex of disgusting, obnoxious, and ignorant places. I am sick and tired of getting America pushed in my face, so I am here to propose a little match. If I win, George Washington Kruel will leave right here and now FOREVER. But if you somehow can beat me, I will publically admit that America is a great country.

Bob Backlund: That is just too easy. We accept.

With that, Copani jumps Backlund and the ref rings the bell

Impromptu Match
George Washington Kruel vs. Mark Copani

Copani is still hitting Backlund when Kruel pulls him off. Kruel goes for a clothesline but Copani ducks and goes for a superkick. Copani's foot is caught by Kruel who spins him around and nails a clothesline. Copani gets up and walks right into KRUEL INTENTIONS! Kruel covers and gets the 1...2...3!!! Kruel is up quickly and Backlund jumps in the ring to raise his hand. Copani rolls to the outside screaming 'I WASN'T READY'
Winner - George Washington Kruel

Scott Hudson: Bob Backlund and George Washington Kruel just got one over on Mark Copani, and now Copani must admit that America is a great country, but Copani is walking to the back Todd, is he backing out?

Todd Pettingill: I don't know Scott, but the big story here is that George Washington Kruel is Backlund's future. And speaking of Future, we have 1 more match that will finally give us our field of 8 for next month's PPV which will crown the 1st PST Champion!

Main Event
Championship Quest - Sweet 16
Shane Helms vs. Booker T

Helms is out first as he walks to the ring to a chorus of boos. 'Can You Dig it... Sucka?!?' hits and Booker comes out to the biggest pop of the night. Booker is still visibly weakened from the assault by Carlito a few weeks ago, and Booker is slow to get to the ring. Booker gets into the ring and plays to the crowd and the bell rings. Helms extends his hand for a handshake but Booker looks uneasy. Finally Booker extends his hand but quickly kicks Helms in the midsection preventing him from doing the same thing first. Booker then connects with a few punches before whipping Helms into the ropes and goes for a side kick, but Helms ducks and bounces off the ropes with a flying forearm. Both men are up and Helms hits a kick to Booker's left leg but Booker just brushes it off. Helms kicks the other leg and Booker again tries to go on the offensive, but Helms continues his offensive furry. Helms takes charge of the match as Booker cannot mount a good defense, but after Helms misses a top rope crossbody, Booker again takes control. Booker begins hitting chops to Helms' chest sending Helms reeling. Booker sends Helms into the ropes and goes for an elbow but Helms ducks and hits the ropes and leaps at Booker, but Booker catches him and hits a backbreaker. Booker gets up and goes for a scissors kick, but Helms moves out of the way and spears Booker T! Helms is quickly up as Booker tries to fight to his feet, Helms goes for the Shining Wizard, but Booker ducks out of the way and as Helms bounces up, Booker catches him in the BOOK END! Booker covers and gets the 3! Booker gets his hand raised as from the crowd, Carlito jumps into the ring and nails Booker with the Backstabber from behind! Carlito begins celebrating as Booker is out in the ring. Carlito stands over Booker motioning the title as the PPV goes off the air...
