Scouting Report on Nineteen Rookies

Chicago Bears

QB: Hajj

The Bears QB is a solid all around QB who has an amazing sense everything that is happening in the offense. He's only 20 years old, and he has the instincts of a Peyton Manning. He has dangerous weapons around him in Rocka, Matt Forte and Devin Hester.

Projected stats: 26 TD, 12 INT, 3,100 yards.

Rating: 87
Potential: A
Strength: Awareness
Weakness: Average deep ball

NFL Comparison: Peyton Manning

WR: Rocka

Wideout with the strength of a tight end. Fast as well. Lucky to have Hajj be his QB, could be a deadly combination for a long time. At 21 years old, can become an absolute beast.

Projected stats: 75 Rec, 1,196 yards, 8 TD

Rating: 86
Potential: A
Strength: Strength
Weakness: Might fumble the fall too much for one's liking.

NFL Comparison: Randy Moss

Cleveland Browns

HB: Tyler

Powerful running back who'll move the chains more than break for 60 yard runs. At 20 years old, can have a monster career, but has to worry a bit about actually staying on the field and not getting hurt.

Projected Stats: 1,266 yards, 12 TD, 25 Rec, 304 yards, 4 TD

Rating: 88
Potential: A
Strength: Powerful brusier. If you need a yard, you're getting it with no problems. Also a good blocking back.
Weakness: Could be faster.

NFL Comparison: Jerome Bettis

Tampa Bay Bucs

QB: Doner

20 year old is a big QB that has enough speed and agility to keep some players alive a bit longer. Ridiculously accurate in the short throw passing game. Has a lot of work to do with his poor receiving corps.

Projected Stats: 19 TD, 16 INT, 2,532 yards

Rating: 86
Potential: A
Strength: Can own a short throw passing game.
Weakness: Average long ball at best.

NFL Comparison: Sam Bradford

Arizona Cardinals

QB: Mofo

Arguably one of the best QBs attribute wise already. 20 years old, good size. Ridiuclously aware. Accuracy is an issue, but everything else is good enough that if he works on that, he could be the greatest QB of all time.

33 TD, 16 INT, 3,755 yards

Rating: 90
Potential: A
Strengths: Amazing instincts, good size, good longball.
Weakness: Can be an erratic thrower.

NFL Comparison: Brett Favre

Indianapolis Colts

HB: JB

Lightning fast 210 pounder. Might be in a timeshare with Joseph Addai early on, but should be the clear start soon enough. May have trouble staying healthy.

Projected Stats: 1,220 yards, 10 TD, 34 Rec, 444 yards, 4 TD
Rating: 84
Potential: A
Strengths: Lightning fast.
Weakness: Probably won't break tackles very well.

NFL Comparison: Reggie Bush

Philadelphia Eagles

TE: Ron

Absolute monster who also has the hands of some great WRs. Amazing run blocker. Only 20 years old.

66 Rec, 954 yards, 7 TD

Rating: 92
Potential: A
Strengths: LeSean McCoy probably gains an extra 200 yards this season because of him, and he won't drop a pass.
Weakness: Not the fastest TE you'll ever see.

NFL Comparison: Jason Witten

New York Giants

TE: Bauer

Perhaps the strongest tight end in the league. Extremely durable. 20 years old. Probably too slow to ever be a serious threat as a receiving tight end.

Projected Stats: 32 Rec, 501 Yards, 3 TD

Rating: 86
Potential: A
Strengths: Stronger than most lineman.
Weakness: Slower than most lineman.

NFL Comparison: Anthony Fasano

Jacksonville Jaguars

QB: Harmon

Perhaps the most balanced QB in the league. Above average speed and possibly the most accurate. Well below average long ball, and is also 25 years old.

Projected Stats: 14 TD, 3 INT, 2,204 Yards, 533 Rush Yards, 4 TD

Rating: 83
Potential: A
Strengths: Good speed, and godly accuracy.
Weakness: Chad Pennington could probably throw farther.

NFL Comparison: Randall Cunningham

WR: CC

Lightning fast WR with amazing hands. If you bump him too much, you may discourage him. Also doesn't have a great vertical. 20 years old.

Projected Stats: 70 Rec, 1,120 Yards, 6 TD

Rating: 87
Potential: A
Strengths: Lightning speed and great hands.
Weakness: If a lot of defenders are around, he'll have trouble getting to the ball, and if he gets hit a lot, he may give less than 100% effort later.

NFL Comparison: Santana Moss

MLB: Shadow

Perhaps the greatest skills from the linebacker position we've seen since LT. Hits like a truck, but moves fast as well. Offenses will have to prepare for him, not the other way around. 21 Years old.

Projected Stats: 98 Tack, 8.5 Sacks 1 INT

Rating: 86
Potential: A
Strengths: Hitting power and speed.
Weakness: Might struggle at the line at times.

NFL Comparison: Lawrence Taylor

New York Jets

WR: Big H

Possession Receiver. The perfect player for those 3rd and 7 situations. Needs to work on routes, but has great instincts to offset that. Quite strong as well. Will struggle for snaps early on with Edwards, Holmes and Cotchery all there.

Projected Stats: 35 Rec, 544 yards, 4 TD

Rating: 83
Potential: A
Strengths: Great instincts, and can make the sick grab if needed.
Weakness: Speed.

NFL Comparison: Wes Welker

Detroit Lions

HB: Droppy

Another lightning fast back. May struggle to play in the passing game in the backfield. Good kick returner. Already 24 years old. Very durable.

Projected Stats: 1,330 Yards, 7 TD, 12 Rec, 230 Yards, 1 KOTD
Rating: 83
Potential: A
Strengths: Lightning fast.
Weakness: Not a powerful back.

NFL Comparison: Reggie Bush

Carolina Panthers

QB: RDT

One of the fastest players in the league, which is odd for a QB. Throws a great long ball, but often to the wrong receivers. Would probably start ahead of Matt Moore sooner than later. Could challenge the 1,000 mark for rushing if a full time starter. Already 23 years old.

Projected Stats: 10 TD, 21 INT, 2,450 Yards, 943 Rushing Yards, 5 TD

Rating: 74
Potential: A
Strengths: Speed and throwing power.
Weakness: Accuracy will lead to a few 20 INT seasons.

NFL Comparison: Michael Vick

WR: Dubb

Very good all around WR. No reak weakness, but nothing really stands out either. Pretty quick, and average vertical. Steve Smith and Dubb are a sick WR combo.

Projected Stats: 59 Rec, 843 Yards, 3 TD

Rating: 87
Potential: A
Strengths: Quick and agile.
Weakness: Average vertical.

NFL Comparison: Issac Bruce

New England Patriots

WR: Petza

Tom Brady's favorite new toy. Blazing fast receiver who will get all the long balls. Can't make the spectacular catch and can't jump high. 20 Years Old.

Projected Stats: 94 Rec, 1,433 Yards, 13 TD

Rating: 87
Potential: A
Strengths: Speed
Weakness: Can't jump high.

NFL Comparison: Joey Galloway

Tennessee Titans

QB: Sausage

Project player. The most physically gifted QB in terms of speed, agility, acceleration in the history of football, but can't throw a ball to save his life. Vince Young will start, but Sausage could get him since Young usually breaks down somehow.

Projected Stats: (Assuming a full season) 7 TD, 23 INT, 1,843 yards, 1,104 Rush Yards, 10 TD

Rating: 71
Potential: A
Strengths: Amazing speed, agility, acceleration.
Weakness: Can barely throw.

NFL Comparison: Michael Vick

C: Morron

Very powerful center. Average blocker, but a better run blocker than pass blocker.

Projected Stats: NA
Rating: 83
Potential: A
Strengths: Strength
Weakness: Average blocker as of now.

NFL Comparison: I don't really know.

Minnesota Vikings

QB: WC

So good, he's ending Favre's streak in one of the most controversial decisions in NFL history. Sick pocket awareness. Seemingly a bit above average in every way but speed.

Projected Stats: 30 TD, 14 INT, 3,201 Yards

Rating: 89
Potential: A
Strengths: Seemingly good at everything.
Weakness: Speed.

NFL Comparison: Dan Marino

Season Review: They were able to sneak into the playoffs with a win over Green Bay in Week 17 thanks to the defense and Rocka's TD catch. Without Hajj and Jay Cutler though, the Bears look like a one and done against the Saints in round 1. Still, very good rookie season from Hajj, and amazing season from Rocka.

Mofo Stats: 92.8 Rating, 423/706, 5,293 Yards, 39 TD, 15 INT (16 Games) *NFL Record for Passing Yards in a Season

Season Review: Can you say MVP? Truthfully the Cardinals are a one dimensional offensive team, but their one dimension is pretty damn good. Unforunately, the Cardinals rushing attack was also a a NFL record low, and they'll need that to be better if they want to get to the Super Bowl. Another record Mofo had set was the passing attempts in a season. Mofo also is tied for 7th for passing TDs in one season. It is also important to point out the Cardinals also had the 2nd ranked defense in the league as well. The Cardinals have a bye week.

Season Review: Talk about a monster 2nd half of the season. JB absolutely dominated for the Colts, and no doubt it led to them being 8-1 in their last 9 games. It will be tough to not pick the Colts to get to the Super Bowl, as they boast possibly the best QB/HB tandem in the league.

Season Review: The Giants offense looked anemic in the 2nd half of the season. Bauer led the team in receptions, while great for the individual, makes you wonder how Eli Manning is distributing the ball his explosive wideouts Steve Smith and Mario Manningham.

CC Stats: 100 Rec, 1,673 Yards, 12 TD (16 Games)
Shadow Stats: 74 Tackles, 27 assists, 2 Sacks (16 Games)

Season Review: Perhaps the most dangerous 6th Seed in NFL history. Jacksonville was the only team to defeat Indy during Indy's hot streak in the 2nd half of the season. Harmon was also a viable MVP candidate throughout the season. CC's 2nd half of the season was better than most people's season, heck, henow holds the #9 mark for receiving yards in a season. Shadow has shown tremendous promise on the defensive side of the ball. Do you really want to play the Jaguars? They'll travel to New England in the Wildcard round, which might be the best game of the playoffs when it is all said and done.

Season Review: Big H proved to be a clutch possession receiver in the balanced Jets attack. They're a better team than San Diego and despite having to travel there, should be the favorite to advance.

Season Review: The Lions' offense was awful all season. Droppy was not able to find holes or be effective in the passing game. The bright spot for the Lions, others than WR Calvin Johnson, was Droppy's return game. Droppy is in the running to represent the NFC as a Pro Bowl returner.

Dubb Stats: 64 Rec, 867 Yards, 6 TD (16 Games)

Season Review: The choice of RDT for quarterback did not work out for the Carolina Panthers. Odds are RDT won't be back. Dubb was handcuffed by the lack of QB play all around him and it limited him this season. A lot of work needs to be done for Carolina.

Team Record: 11-5, 3rd Seed in AFC Playoffs, 1st in AFC East

Petza Stats: 78 Rec, 1,233 Yards, 13 TD (16 Games)

Season Review: Just replace Randy Moss and Petza and they'll be no problems. Tom Brady enjoyed another fine season and should have no problems throughout his career with Petza as his youngest new weapon. The Patriots play the Jaguars in what should be a great game.

Tennessee Titans

Week 1: L vs Raiders 3-10

Morron Stats: 7 Pancakes, 14 Sacks Allowed

Season Review: Not a lot of good to say about the Titans, who lost Vince Young in the preseason and Chris Johnson for most of the season. Sausage played rather well after he returned from his 2nd injury, and might get a look from the Titans if they move past Young. Morron showed promise, but needs to improve.

WC Stats: 97.0 Rating, 304/490, 3,926 Yards, 37 TD, 18 INT, 1 FUM

Season Review: One of the league's best passers with the leagues best rusher? How can one not be afraid of the Vikings? And for argument's sake, what is better? WC's 37 TD in 490 attempts, or Mofo's 39 TD in 707 attempts?

Not a terrible year for me. More picks than I'd like, but I think another year to fine tune my arm will see my numbers improve. Hopefully one of me and rocka wins this so we can get another piece in the Bears puzzle. Also nice retarded amount of throws Chris :shifty:
