This is an introduction post to a 3-way split compo that RDT, Hajj and myself will be doing. It will take place with present day rosters, and three fictional wrestling promotions. There's no gimmick or fun backstory to explain why there are only three promotions left, and why WWE is no longer around, it's just us doing this to have fun. So if you need something like that to get into this, make it up yourself. <_< Our draft consisted of us picking 70 wrestlers each from every worker in the database, and we will be making seperate posts here to explain our promotions, our rosters and our TV shows.

UCW Friday Night Live

- Your hosts are Jerry 'The King' Lawler & Todd Grisham

- The show opens with Stephanie McMahon in the ring to a nice pop. Stephanie says that shes here to let everyone know that she loves UCW and promises to pour her heart and soul into it. However, she's a woman of business and due to personal interests... she doesn't want to have a personal hand in the running of the show. As such, she's introducing the man who will run her brand. The man who will make UCW the #1 promotion on the planet... ERIC BISCHOFF! The fans boo as Bischoff steps out in a suit, a smile across his face. Once in the ring and shakes Stephanie's hand and even bows to her a little before she leaves him in the ring.
76

- The fans are booing as Bischoff says he's so grateful that Mrs. McMahon gave him this chance. A chance to make UCW the BEST promotion. To prove it, he's treating the fans tonight. He's giving UCW a main event featuring two legends of this business. Tonight it'll be the Olympic hero Kurt Angle taking on The Game Triple H! The fans cheer as he promises it'll be an electric night and than leaves.
80

- Kofi Kingston vs. 'The All-American American' Jack Swagger
This is a pretty hot opener with both men going hold for hold. Kingston shows off his flashy style with some great high flying moves as the crowd really get behind the Ghana superstar. Swagger tries to slow things down with some mat wrestling as he generally wants to smother Kingston. The result isn't too pretty workrate wise, but the crowd are pretty hot. The end comes when Kingston goes for his Trouble In Paradise kick but Swagger ducks and gets a roll-up wher ehe grabs the ring ropes and steals the cheap three to booing. Swagger is also quick to exit, heading up the ramp with a big goofy smile on his face.
77 - 81 - 70

- Kurt Angle is backstage and tells us that tonight he faces the Game. Tonight he faces wrestling's most ruthless and cerebral man. Angle says that Triple H has done it all, he's fought with Angle before and he's sure they'll cross again. Tonight however, is special. Tonight is a new era and he's determined to go out there and leave everything in the ring. To do everything he can to show he's the man in UCW. To show he's the face of this company. He promises to put on an absolute clinic in the ring and that he's not going to play the game... he's going to win it! The crowd are real hot for this, starting up some Angle chants as the olympic hero goes back to stretching.
96

- El Hijo Del Santo vs. Terry Ray Gordy Jr. w/ Luke Gallows
Todd Grisham lets us know that Del Santo is a huge name in Lucha Libre and the son of Del Santo, a true Mexican legend. Gordy has an equally impressive lineage as the son of Fabulous Freebird Terry Gordy. This is actually a pretty disappointing affair as the two men don't seem to mix well with Gordy blowing a few spots as well. The end comes when Del Santo is in firm control and seems poised to hit the Topé de Cristo (Diving headbutt) before Luke Gallows pushe shim off for a DQ finish. The two heels start beating away on Del Santo when Keiji Mutoh runs out and starts lacing the two men with chops and kicks before Del Santo recovers and the duo send the heels out of the ring. They than shake hands and raise each others arms to a nice pop.
65 - 64 - 66

- After a commercial Mr. Anderson is in the ring, mic in hand. He tells us that tonight he doesn't have a match, but it's cool. Even though Eric Bischoff is an asshole he is probably smart enough to give him a world title match. Anderson is about to continue when The Miz and his apprentice Alex Riley come out. Miz says that Mr. Bischoff is a visionary. He's a man who knows what's best for business. That's why he's sure that soon enough, he'll simply award The Miz the world title and the era of awesomeness can begin! The fans boo as Anderson tells the Miz to spare the fans anymore of his yapping. The fans don't want to hear him. He's not awesome. He's a douchebag. Miz is livid and tells Anderson not to threaten him and A-Ri. Anderson chuckles and says the day he's scared off by a pair of men like them is the day he retires from the wrestling business. Apparently having heard enough Riley & Miz enter the ring and attack. Anderson fairs well early but starts to succumb to the numbers. Just as things look bleakest MVP rushes out and saves his old friend, chasing off A-Ri & Miz. The faces get to their feet and hug to a pop as Miz & Riley fume at ringside.
75

- The celebration is cut off by Eric Bischoff, who says that the fans want to see these 4 men go at it. So they will have a tag team match... right now!
84

- The Miz & Alex Riley vs. Mr. Anderson & MVP
The crowd is red hot for this one although it's sadly a little disappointing in the ring itself. The heels work good as a unit, but it's clear that MVP & Anderson have a lot of chemistry. Eventually Miz can only watch when MVP nails a Playmaker before Anderson head sup top and polishes him off with the Kenton Bomb for the 3. Miz drags Riley up the ramp and vows revenge as the reunited friends celebrate.
76 - 80 - 68

- We are now in the locker room of Triple H. The Game says he's done it all. He's beaten everyone in this business but now... now it's a new era. Now he can do something else and that's win the first main event in UCW history and become the first champion. He promises to do both, starting with Angle. He says that while Kurt Angle may be a 'dork' he's still the best technical wrestler he's ever faced. He promises to bring his all and that the two will blow the roof off the arena. He finishes saying he'll hold nothing back though, and that he will prove why he is the game and he is that damn good.
90

- Teddy Hart vs. Michael Shane
It's a sort of family feud as the Harts and Michaels' clash here. Sadly, the clash results in a mediocre match and a lukewarm crowd. Lawler & Grisham bring up the past, the screwjob... but the fans don't seem the care. The end comes when Hart slips past a superkick attempt and than gets a schoolboy with the tights for the sneaky 3. Yawn.
61 - 55 - 67

- 'The Game' Triple H vs. 'The Olympic Hero' Kurt Angle
The fans are electric as both men make their entrances. Lawler & Grisham hype this as a huge battle of legends as the two go nose to nose, not saying a word. They start to back off now when Angle is suddenly drilled with a steel chair! Triple H is confused but he too eats steel as we see their attackers are Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase! The fans boo as the two batter them with chairs before Harris Rotunda (Husky Harris) & Michael Henning (Michael McGuilicutty) enter the ring and join in on the beating. Rhodes & DiBiase set up the chairs and lift Triple H before driving him back first through the seats with a double spinebuster! Angle is rolled outside where Henning rips off the top of the announce table. Harris sets Angle up and lifts him for a powerbomb before he drives him onto the able which collapses under his weight. Back in the ring Triple H starts to get up but Rhodes lines up his steel chair and than absolutely clobbers him, busting H wide open and leaving him in a pool of blood. Angle is dragged and rolled into the ring and than held up as DiBiase winds up and pops him too, leaving him a bloody mess. The fans are livid as the 4 attackers drop their weapons and all raise each others hands to booing. What the hell was the meaning of this?

Lay Cool vs. Mickie James and Beth Phoenix

During this match Mick Foley stated on commentary that there will be a 10 Diva Gauntlet Match at a New Beginning for the new GCW Diva’s Championship.

This match went pretty quickly, Lay Cool doubled teamed Mickie James early on, but when Beth got the hot tag she dominated. Mickie tagged herself back in, and when the referee attended to Layla El and Beth on the outside, McCool hit James with some sort of jewelry, a chain or maybe a necklace, and got the pin.

Winners: Lay Cool when McCool pinned James in 3:35.

We are now shown Brock Lesnar at his home via satellite. There is an interviewer behind the camera.

Lesnar states that his professional wrestling comeback is serious. He understands that he did not give everything he could to the business and wants to fix that by doing what he feels he does best, by being the best wrestler in the world. Lesnar points out that in some way he was successful at everything he did, but professional wrestling was something he could have been the best ever at, and that is his goal now.

Lesnar ends his interview with: “I am no longer the next big thing. I am the big thing.”

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::

William Regal vs. Ric Flair

Flair gets a great reaction from the crowd as he comes out. Soon as he enters the ring Regal starts his attack. The match starts with some technical wrestling and some strikes from Regal, and Flair’s offense consists of mostly chops. Regal gets a couple of near falls when he hits a running knee strike and his unique hand tied neckbreaker. Regal eventually locks on the STF but Flair gets to the ropes to break it. Regal argues with the referee, leading to Flair to hit Regal with a low blow, and locks in the figure four. Regal lasts about 12 or so seconds before tapping out.

Winner: Ric Flair at 7:22 via submission.

Crowd Reaction: 84%

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::

We come back on the air to the backstage area, where Ric Flair is talking to Todd Pettengill. Pettengill asks Flair how the victory felt, to which Flair responded that he’s still got it and that this is the first step to winning the title at A New Beginning.

At that moment, JBL steps in…

“Understand this Ric, and understand it good. Maybe, maybe at one time you were the wrestling god. But you’re not anymore…I am. Know that at the end of A New Beginning, I will have my hand raised as the GCW World Heavyweight Champion. They will have no choice but to announce, the new GCW World Champion..THE WRESTLING GOD…JBL.”

Flair and JBL have a staredown, before JBL walks away.

Flair lastly says, “Wrestling God huh. We’ll see about that. WOOO!”

Overall: 89%

Tajiri vs. Sheamus

Sheamus laughs at Tajiri at first, and facepalms him to the mat. Tajiri responds his an assortment of kicks to the legs that surprise and stagger Sheamus. Tajiri goes for his springboard elbow, but Sheamus turns it into a belly to back suplex. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick, but Tajiri ducks out of the way. This causes Sheamus to get caught on the top rope and crash onto the arena floor. Tajiri attempts to follow up with a springboard asai moonsault, but Sheamus catches him and rams him into the steel ringpost. Sheamus rolls Tajiri in, stands him up in the corner, and hits the Brogue Kick. The 3 count is academic.

Winner: Sheamus at 4:02 via pin.

Crowd Reaction: 71%

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::

We come back live…and Wade Barrett comes out to the ring with Justin Gabriel. He prepares to announce his teammates for the upcoming handicap match. He first reminds everyone that he is the originator of the Nexus and that he understood his first mistake with the first Nexus. That he selected those who were with him through WWE’s NXT, not thought that would help him win. He says that he will correct that with the third version of Nexus. He then announces that Nexus V3 will feature himself and Justin Gabriel, one member to be named later, and these two, one of “the most decorated tag teams in wrestling history, two men who did not get the opportunity they deserves in their careers…”

The World’s Greatest Tag Team, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas!”

Overall: 69%

Immediately after, Christian’s music plays and he comes out to a loud response, and he’s followed by Edge, who gets even a louder pop. They run down to the ring, and here we go.

Edge and Christian vs. Nexus V3 (Wade Barrett, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas w/Justin Gabriel)

Edge and Christian do a good job offsetting the numbers game early on, sending Barrett and the WWGT to the outside. Christian even hits a from the inside to the outside bodypress onto all the members of Nexus V3. When the referees settle everything out, Edge starts the match with Haas and holds onto the early advantage. Edge and Christian hit some of their retro double team moves, such as the stacked double suplex. The tide turns when Christian and Benjamin are in the ring, and when Christian hits the ropes and gets kicked by Barrett. Christian takes a swing at Barrett, but then gets superkicked by Benjamin. Benjamin and Haas follow this with their own double team moves, highlighted by Haas holding Christian in a guillotine on the top rope, and Benjamin leapfrogging Haas and causing Christian to get hung up on the top rope. NV3 dominate Christian for a while, including a clothesline by Barrett that nearly takes Christian’s head off. It is Benjamin who slips up and misses a Stinger Splash, and allows Christian to make the hot tag! Edge knocks down both Haas and Benjamin, but Barrett temporarily stops him. Barrett’s advantage doesn’t last long as Edge hits an Edge-O-Matic on Barrett. Edge then spears Benjamin and goes for the cover. He is about to get the three count…but Justin Gabriel pulls the referee out of the ring! Christian tags in as Edge goes to the outside to confront Gabriel. Edge takes a shot at Gabriel and the referee tries to break them up. Barrett goes to the outside as well to join the melee. In the ring, Christian nails Haas with the Killswitch and goes for the cover. The referee is distracted on the outside and doesn’t see the pin. Benjamin tries to superkick Christian, but Christian ducks and goes for the Killswitch when out of nowhere...Rhyno runs in and GORES Christian! Rhyno rolls to the outside and Benjamin covers Christian just in time for the referee to see it and count the three.

Edge notices that Christian is down and goes into the ring to continue fighting Benjamin and Haas. Rhyno rolls back in undetected and GORES Edge! Barrett hands Rhyno a Nexus shirt, and all five Nexus V3 members raise their hands. He Nexus pulls Christian back to his feet so Rhyno can GORE him again, and they do the same to Edge as well. Edge is shown to have internal bleeding as Nexus V3 leave.

Winners: Nexus V3 when Benjamin pinned Christian in 13:21.

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::

Mr. McMahon comes down to the ring to, as he said he would, speak Stone Cold Steve Austin.

And Stone Cold doesn’t make him wait! The crowd erupts for what is clearly the biggest pop of the night!

Austin simply says one thing to start: “You wanted to see me?”

McMahon begins his request. He tells Austin that he plans to take GCW even places where the WWE never went. He plans for it to forever be the #1 wrestling promotion in the world. He continues on, but Stone Cold interrupts him.

“Get to the point.”

McMahon stutters a bit, and tells him what he needs. He mentions that it has been eight years since Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestled inside a ring. He says that he needs the “biggest star in the history of the business” to wrestle on top once again. He even offers Austin a spot in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match at A New Beginning. Austin repeats to make verify what McMahon said…

“So you’re asking me, you’re asking Stone Cold if he’ll get in the ring…first time in eight years…and try to be world champion again?”

McMahon answers yes, but adds a small shot.

“Unless that is, that you don’t have it anymore. Unless you truly aren’t Stone Cold anymore.”

Austin counters, and asks the crowd: “If you wanna see Stone Cold Steve Austin in the Royal Rumble match give me a Hell Yeah!”

“HELL YEAH”

“I guess this leaves Stone Cold no other choice. Consider this my acceptance.”

Austin boots McMahon and hits him with the Stone Cold Stunner! Austin calls for the beers as Saturday Night’s Main Event goes off the air!

EWW's Monday Night!
Monday, April 4th, 2011
Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH
Show: #1

The Start of Something New

No Pyros, no theme song, nothing for this first ever EWW broadcasted event. The cameras turned on, to Linda McMahon standing in the squared circle. She is looking around, taking it all in as the arena is sold out here in Cleveland, OH. The ring has gold and black ropes, with EWW's logo (a Big E, a Globe, and a W) in the middle of it. The announcer's table is to the south of the ring, empty right now, with a ramp going above the northern part of it. The stage is beautiful, decked out in gold with a giant screen that would make Jerry Jones jealous being the highlight of it all. Two smaller screens run vertically down the sides of their larger counterpart, and the entrance way is underneath the large screen and between where the two verticle screens touch the ground. The crowd goes quiet as she begins to speak.

Linda: I've been involved in wrestling for many, many years now. I'm sure I don't have to speak about what I've done and who I've worked with, my last name of McMahon should tell you all of that. And as owner of this company, there are a few things I need to set up, and make sure go smoothly. The first of which, is to introduce our announce team for EWW Monday Night. Both of these men have significant wrestling knowledge, and have been in this business for a long time. Ladies and gentlemen, Mike Tenay, and Paul Heyman!

Mike Tenay and Paul Heyman come out onto the stage to a warm reception. They both walk to the edge of the ring and shake Linda's hand seperately though the ropes, as they continue onto the announce table to take their permanent Monday positions.

Linda: And the second order of business is to let everyone here know that I'm going to do my best to run this company.. behind the scenes. But I'm not fit to take care of match making, and general order of things. That's what my husband has always done for me. So, I've seen it in my best interest to let someone else take over those responsibilites. Now, I always enjoyed companies that are ran by two people of power, but, there is only one man I feel comfortable with right now to give such a role. So, without further adue, your general manager of Elite World Wrestling, Michael Cole!

"May I have your attention, please?" rings over the speakers as the instrumental version of "On My Level" by Wiz Khalifa plays, and Michael Cole comes out to an enormous amount of boos. Dressed in his usual suit, Cole has a giant smirk on his face as he makes his way to the ring. He stops to high five some unwilling fans on the ramp before continuing up to the ring. Dancing on the ring steps, Cole steps between the top and middle rope to get to Linda McMahon, and gives her a great big hug. Linda nods at him before stepping out quietly, as Cole grabs a microphone to begin to speak.

Cole: Well, well, well. Look at what we have here! The little man, who was just a small announcer a few years ago has stepped into a prestegious position of power. Who would have thought it? Oh, wait. I did. I knew I was good enough to do whatever I wanted to, and now I get to call all of the shots around here. You all don't have to share in my excitement, I'm sure the boos coming out of your vocal chords are just envious, and I get it. I really, really do. But hey, maybe one day, you'll be in my position. I mean probably not, since you're all losers, but losers need dreams too, and that's what makes this country so great. Any nobody can dream to be a somebody like me, and even after it never happens you can think "Well, at least I still have my job at the Quick-Mart." But I'm not here to be "vintage Cole" and remind you all of exactly how pathetic you are, I have a purpose now. I'm here to get business done. So the first order of business is this little thing I like to call the "EWW World Heavyweight Title". And, a lot of BORING companies would just decide who gets the title, or do a stupid battle royal for it, because throwing a man over the top rope is just so damn hard! No, not here, not with THE Michael Cole in charge. Here, we're going to have a TOURNAMENT. 16 wrestlers who I feel deserve a legit chance at getting the title will compete for it. And as you know, I've recently grown to be kind of an internet phenom, so later on in the night I'll be posting the ENTIRE tournament bracket on our official website, Facebook, and in a few seprate tweets. You're welcome. But you guys don't care about all that, right? You wanna know what you're gonna get to see, TONIGHT. So here it is, you get FOUR first round matches tonight and man they're gonna be legendary. You're going to get to see a man who has competed for every big company in the world, a known brawler and charismatic machine, RAVEN take on a young kid with swag that I really like, not everyone knows him yet but you will- AJ STYLES!. Not your cup of tea? Don't worry, you'll get to see a former WCW champion, JEFF JARRETT take on the ever flashy rock star JOHN MORRISON!. Oh yeah baby! And make sure you stick around until the main event, because it's going to be... COLE-OSSAL! Ha ha ha! You're gonna get to see.... RANDY ORTON! *mixed reaction* And he's gonna take on one of the biggest names in wrestling today... JOHN CENA! *more of a mixed reaction* Do I know how to put a show together, or what? You'd think I've been doing this for YEARS! I'm like Eric Bischoff and Vince McMahon combined, but better looking of course! Oh, right, one more match. It's actually gonna start off the show, so I'll leave all of you Cole-Miners out here to witness the greatness that I have provided for you! You're welcome, flowers and gifts are not necessary I promise, I already have more than any of you so don't worry about it. Just enjoy MY show, I know I will.

Michael Cole leaves enthusiastically as the crowd dies down in anticipation for who's gonna start off the night and have the first crack at the title tournament.

Booker T vs. Kane - EWW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: First Round

"CAN YOU DIG IT, SUCKA?!?" blares over the speakers as the crowd erupts to the sighting of Booker T. He comes out in his traditional white tights with "BOOKER T" on the back of them. The crowd is still roaring for Booker, a definite fan favorite as he makes his way to the ring. Booker slides in and plays to the crowd for a few minutes before his music goes off and FIRE erupts from the side of the stage as ominous music plays through the speakers and Kane makes his way to the ring. Booker T looks a little frightened, not expecting such a big challenge right off the bat, and Kane looks all business as usual. Kane steps over the top rope to get in the ring as the music stops and the bell rings- this match is underway!

It was a typical brawling fest between these two veterans, both getting in good shots at the beginning before Kane starts to take over. Kane starts to take over and hits his patented throat shots sending Booker into the corner as Kane starts to do work on him there. The match goes on a little longer, with Kane dominating before he climbs the top rope and tries to hit his signature diving clothesline, but Booker moves out of the way! This gives Booker some time to get some offense in, battling back strong and eventually hitting the Book-End! Booker T gets that look in his eye, drops to his knee and holds his hand in front of his face. The crowd knows what's coming and gets excited, before Kane sits up behind him! Booker does the famous spin-a-roonie, but then stands up to find Kane's hand wrapped around his throat. Kane picks him up and drops him down- Chokeslam! Kane gets the 1-2-3 and is the first to advance to the 2nd round.

Winner: Kane!

A Masked Nemesis
The camera cuts to the back to see Shane Helms warming up and getting stretched. Out of nowhere a man wearing black trunks, a black cape and a black mask that only covers his eyes rushes up behind Helms.

???: Hello... Shane.

Shane turns around and stares awkwardly at the masked man.

Helms: ...Chuck Palumbo?

Palumbo: NO! There is no Chuck... Chuck is long gone... it is just me... The Palumbo...

Helms: ...oh... okay. So is there are a reason you're dressed like it's Halloween, or did I miss a memo on something?

The Palumbo: I know about your powers.. and who you are, Shane Helms. Or should I say... The Hurricane!

Helms: Oh come on man. That was just a stupid gimmick I did a long time ago. I'm over that. You can't REALLY believe that I have superpowers, can you?

The Palumbo: You can lie to me all night, Helms. But I know what you are. And soon.. your about to be exposed. We won't rest until The Hurricane is brought down.

Helms: We?

The Palumbo then rushes off as Helms looks confused and slightly agitated. Shannon Moore walks up to Helms as Helms fills him in on what just happened. Helms laughs as the two head to the ring together.

Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Carolina Connection (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore)[/u]

A fast paced match between these two teams. Moore and Sabin started off the match with Sabin getting in a lot of offense. Sabin tags in Shelley and holds Moore's arm as Shelley gives him a kick to the mid-section and takes over where Sabin left off. Shelley gets in some good offense and throws Moore into the corner, going for a signature running double knee but Shannon Moore moves out of the way, leaving Shelley to drive both of his knees into the turnbuckle. Moore crawls over to his corner and gets the hot tag to Helms, as Helms comes in and starts clearing house. A clothesline to Shelley, Sabin comes in and eats a dropkick and gets thrown over the top rope. Helms starts to take control of the match before out of nowhere, The Palumbo comes running down to the ring! He tries to get involved, but the ref stops him, but also gets completely distracted. This allows Santino Marella to run in from the back and hit Shane Helms with THE COBRA! Shelley gets back up as Santino exits the ring. Helms stumbles to his feet and Shelley grabs him- SHELLSHOCK! The Palumbo holds Moore's foot so he can't break up the pin, and Shelley gets the 1-2-3!

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns!

After the match, The Palumbo and Santino get back in the ring and start beating down Helms and Moore. The Palumbo grabs Helms and hits him with a swinging side slam before tossing him out of the ring. Santino picks up Moore and holds him in a full nelson position as The Palumbo hits his Jungle Kick and Santino throws him back into a full neson suplex! Santino and The Palumbo leave, the damage done.

AJ Styles vs Raven - EWW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: First Round

"End of Everything" by Stereomud plays as Raven comes out. He's in cut-off jeans and a black sleeveless shirt, looking similar to his WCW days. His hair is a normal color and there's no weird face paint. Styles comes out to "I Am" and wearing his signature cut off jacket with his hood up, as he makes his way to the ring and this match gets started.

The odd mix-up of Raven's heavy brawling Styles's high flying and technique made this match click in an odd way. A lot of change in upper-hand throughout this fight, as Raven looked like he had it locked up halfway through and was calling for the Evenflow DDT, but Styles got in a few counter-punches and hit Raven with the Pele kick! Styles starts coming back with a lot of offense and hits a running swinging neckbreaker that lays Raven out. Styles goes up top looking for a high-impact move but Raven gets up and lunges towards the ropes, splitting AJ's legs on top of the turnbuckle. Raven grabs Styles's neck and pulls him out a little while AJ is still perched up top, and hits a high impact Evenflow DDT! Raven scoops the leg and gets the 1-2-3 to be the 2nd wrestler to advance onto the tournament!

Winner: Raven!

*Commercial Break while Raven poses in the ring*

Quote The Raven, 'Nevermore'

We come back from commercial to see Raven walking in the back towards the locker room, when Gene Okerlund catches up to him!

Raven: What do you want Mean Gene?

Okerlund: Raven! Can I get your comments about your match out there with Styles? A great victory for you, how do you think you match up in the rest of this tournament?

Raven: Well Mr. Okerlund, it's quite simple. I had a moment of clarity not too long ago, an enlightenment if you will. You see, I've competed in all the big companies before this. ECW, WCW, TNA, and of course the WWE. And I've always done things the way I thought would take me to the top, whether it be using weapons to my advantage or having a Flock of nobodies to help me out along the way. But I've come to realize that all of that just held me down. I don't need a Nest of unimportant imbisilies to guide my path, I can make my own path. This is the year of the Raven, Mean Gene, and it's just me. The light has shined down on my existance and it's my time to take over. So, you ask how I think I match up against the rest of the title bracket? I think I match up better than anyone else. Whether I get the Big Red Machine Kane or Randy Orton or John Cena... it doesn't matter. I can take out whoever I want, leaving a path of bones and flesh along the way. Elite World Wrestling is on notice, and the World Heavyweight Title shall be around my waist when it's all said and done. Quote the Raven, 'Nevermore'.

Raven walks off as Gene sends it back to Paul Heyman and Mike Tenay, who are talking about the extraordinary lightweight challenge that is up next!

Jushin Liger vs. Paul London vs. Evan Bourne

A triangle match here between these three lightweight wrestlers, as Mike Tenay explains here's heard it directly from Michael Cole himself that at the first PPV, Vices, the EWW Light Heavyweight Title will be on the line against the two top wrestlers that he sees fit to hold the title, and that this match was going to be closely watched by the GM himself. None of the three men disappointed in the match, as these great talents gave the fans a high-flying spectacle for EWW's first show! The match ended when Jushin "Thunder" Liger hit Paul London with the Liger Bomb, and it looked to all be over before Evan Bourne popped up and hit Liger with a big Enzuigiri, sending Liger out of the ring. Bourne climbed to the top rope and hit the Air Bourne on Paul London for the 3 count!

Winner: Evan Bourne!

The Heartbreaking Return

The crowd is silent waiting to see the next matchup, when all of the sudden a familiar beat hits the speakers and "OH. MY. GOD" pours through the speakers and the rest of "Sexy Boy" plays. The crowd ERUPTS for the sighting of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. He comes out in a black suit and a white cowboy hat and plays to the fans for a solid minute or two on the ramp, before getting down on both knees as pyro goes off behind him. He makes his way to the ring, slapping hands along the path, and climbs in and eats up the crowd for another few minutes. His music finally goes off as he grabs a microphone

HBK: MAN, does it feel good to be in this ring. *crowd pops* Hello, Cleveland, the Show Stopper is here! And this isn't a one-time appearance, this isn't a special for the first show to get you guys goin crazy, this is the real deal. SHAWN MICHAELS IS BACK! *the crowd roars in excitement* I know what you guys are thinking, "You retired Shawn, the Undertake retired you!" and that's true. But the stipulation was that my career was over... in the WWE. And I'm looking around, and Toto, we ain't in Connecticut anymore! My brief retirement has been great, though, but something has been missing. I notice it, my kids notice it, and my beautiful wife notices it too. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and I love spending all of the time in the world with them, but it just doesn't feel right being at home all of the time. I miss this, the action, the rush of adrenaline, and of course all of you guys who scream my name every night. I've thought long and hard about this, talked to my friends about it, I asked God about it, and my family about it, and the deciding factor came when my adorable son Cameron came up to me and said "Daddy.. it's been great having you around more. But I liked it more when you were happy. We'll still love you even if you go back, I like seeing you win every night." I looked at my wife and well.. I knew what I had to do. So, here I am. Back in action, and my first order of business as the new Elite World Wrestling Showstopper, is to compete in the tournament for the World Heavyweight Title. That's right, Friday Night I'm gonna have my round one match, and you all better believe-

Shawn Michaels is cut off from a surprise attack from behind at the hands of none other than CM Punk! Punk leveled Michaels from behind with a chair and starts giving him chair shot after chair shot to an enormous amount of boos. Punk picks HBK up and levels him on his shoulders, before giving him a big Go-To-Sleep! Punk gets the sadistic smile on his face before grabbing Shawn's microphone and laying on his stomach beside HBK.

Punk: Oh, Shawn. Shawn, Shawn. What a boring little speech. As if anybody cares about your ugly wife or your disformed children. You should have just stayed away. You're getting older now, your body can't take much more of this. But don't worry, mine can. You're not the showstopper anymore Shawn, you're just like the kid in High School, who won Prom King and grew up to be a nobody. You had your time to shine and it's over. It's my time now, Shawn. It's CM Punk's time. And these fans don't want you anymore anyways. *crowd boos and starts up an HBK chant* You left them. You were gone, and just.. went away to retirement. And poor Cleveland, you packed up and took your talents to South Beach just like LeBron James did to them. *loudest boos of the night* They can't handle any more of this. So just leave, Shawn. Leave. You're not wanted here anymore. It's the era of Straight Edge, now. And if you think you're getting your hands on my title, Shawn? You're clearly mistaken. Good luck in your tournament, Shawn. I'll be sure to comfort your wife and kids while daddy is in the hospital with a broken down body.

Punk picks HBK up and delivers another GTS before leaving the ring to "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage to a giant amount of boos. Punk laughs his way up the ramp as HBK struggles to a knee to stare Punk down as we go to commercial

*commercial break*

The feed comes back to Tenay and Heyman talking about what just went on.

Tenay: Welcome back to EWW Monday Night, and boy Paul, can you believe the audacity of CM Punk? HBK hasn't wrestled in a year, it was a huge deal to him, the crowd loved it, and Punk took it upon himself to steal the spotlight as usual.

Heyman: Yeah well, CM Punk isn't one who's known for sitting back in the shadows while someone else gets the attention. He did what he felt he had to do I guess, not that I agree with it, I respect Michaels a great deal. Though I wonder if he's realized exactly what he's done, there's NO way HBK is gonna lie down after that one and take it.

Tenay: No doubt Paul, Shawn will be looking for some revenge soon I'm sure. Punk better be sleeping with one eye open if you ask me.

Heyman: That's a ridiculous phrase, Mike. Nobody can sleep with just one eye open, that's not how the human body works. It's amazing that people think YOU'RE the smart one out of the two of us.

Tenay: Oh whatever Heyman. We've got a good match up next though, someone that I'm very familiar with, Jeff Jarrett taking on a rising star in professional wrestling right now, John Morrison!

Heyman: Oh yeah, this Morrison kid is lighting things up and I love it. There's nothing better, besides an anything goes match of course, than watching a wrestler give it his all every night and put his body on the line. And man this kid is something special, his balance and agility makes him tough to beat.. or even get your hands on!

The announcers are cut off by "My World", Jeff Jarrett's entrance music coming on. Double J makes his way to the ring with guitar in hand to a mixed reaction. He stands in the ring as "Ain't No Make Believe" by Stonefree Experience hits the speakers and the crowd goes crazy for John Morrison! He stops at the ramp to do his slow-motion pose before getting in the ring and getting the match started.

Jeff Jarrett vs. John Morrison - EWW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: First Round

A well-fought, but short match for both of these men as it looked like Jarrett kind of tweaked something mid-way through the bout. The end came when Jarrett ate a springboard missle dropkick from John Morrison, who then climbed to the top rope and hit the Starship Pain for the 3-count!

Winner: John Morrison!

After the match, Morrison walks up to Jarrett to shake his hand, to commend him on finishing the match even though he was clearly injured. Jarrett shakes Morrison's hand to an applause from the crowd, then spins him around and hits The Stroke! Jarrett rolls out of the ring and limps his way up the aisle as Morrison is laying in pain with a confused look on his face.

Tenay: Wow! A good victory for Morrison, and that coward Jarrett attacked him after the match. What a disgrace.

Heyman: Jarrett was clearly frustrated by his injury in that match and needed to take it out on someone.. Morrison was just in the way!

Tenay: Yeah, well, it was still uncalled for. Just a bush-league move from the veteran there. But hey, don't go anywhere folks, because up next is your main event for the night, John Cena versus Randy Orton!

Heyman: It's gonna be huge!

*commercial break*

The People's Challenge

We come back from commercial as the crowd is buzzing in excitement for the main event. "The Time is Now" hits the speakers as the crowd roars with a mix of cheers and boos as John Cena comes flying onto the stage in his orange "CeNation, Never Give Up" shirt and typical jean shorts with a matching orange hat and dog tags. Cena is pumped up and yells some excited words to the fans before saluting to the crowd and sprinting his way to the ring. Cena plays to the fans for a few minutes and then grabs a mic and begins to speak.

Cena: Well, well. It looks like the future CHAMP IS HERE. *mixed reaction* And I know I have a big match here in a minute with the very dangerous Randy Orton.. but I wanted to address something real quick, and considering people have been making speeches out here all night it looks like I'm just following the crowd. But, I've heard rumors, that The Rock is in the building *crowd erupts as Tenay yells out "The Rock is here?!?"* and I know that he has a slight problem with me, there's no hiding what the man thinks of me. From his lame attempt at a rap to poke fun of me, to calling me Fruity Pebbles, the man obviously thinks I'm a cartoon character. Well Rock, suffering succotash, it's rabbit season! So how about you bring your "candy ass" down here and we settle this like men!

The crowd awaits for The Rock's music to kick in, but it never does, leaving them disappointed.

Cena: Oh, what's that? The Rock ISN'T here? Of course he's not. Because he doesn't care about the fans. I bust my ass out here every single night to put on a performance and you can't even bother to show up for the first televised event in Elite World Wrestling history? Come on, Rock. You call yourself the People's Champion! How are you the People's Champion when A. You're not a champion and B. You're never here for the people? It would be like me calling myself "The loser who's gonna get beat up by The Rock tonight", it's just not true, Rocky. Because you're not here. and as much as I'd love to have you "Bring It" via satelite from your home, I'm sure you're too lazy to even do that. But it's okay, because I LOVE these fans here in.. Cleveland, Ohio! *cheap pop* and I'll make DAMN sure I give them what they want to see. Because that's what I do. I perform, for these people, every single night. That's what a real people's champion does. That's what I do. I BRING IT every night for every single fan here in.. Cleveland, Ohio *cheap pop* and every single fan watching this at home. So you can go on about how I'm Fred Flinstone or Daffy Duck or Betty Boop, it doesn't matter to me! Because at the end of the night, I'm the one here, and I'm the one-

Cena is cut off by "Voices" by Rev Theory, as Randy Orton comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd in his normal wrestling gear, microphone in hand.

Orton: You sure do a lot of talking, Cena. But all your talking is about to get you in trouble. You see, you're so focused on The Rock, which is fine. But you have a match right now, with me, The Legend Killer. So while your mind is on your fruity pebbles and your non-exsistant match against The Rock, my mind is thinking like clockwork. About how I'm going to take you out, and about how I'm gonna be the FIRST EWW World Heavyweight Champion. So I hope you're ready Cena, because The Rock isn't here. I am.

Orton starts walking to the ring, as the main event is about to get started!

John Cena vs. Randy Orton - EWW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: First Round

The match starts off hot after commercial with both men getting in a little bit of offense during the break. The men trade blows back and forth before Cena sends Orton over the top rope with a shoulder block. Cena then takes the offense to Orton outside before Orton reverses an irish whip and sends Cena into the stairs. Orton climbs back into the ring to regain some composure as Cena steps onto the apron. Randy walks up and starts hammering away at Cena, still standing on the apron, before Cena battles back and hits a few hard blows to Orton. Orton comes back quickly with a hard kick to the gut, and pulls Cena between the ropes hanging his feet on the middle rope, and deliveres his patented Viper DDT. Orton goes for the cover but only gets a two. Cena gets up and starts battling back before Orton ducks under a right hand and hits Cena with an olympic slam. Orton gets that insane look in his eyes and starts shaking before dropping to the floor and pounding his fists waiting for Cena to get up. Cena does, and Orton goes for the RKO but Cena pushes him away into the ropes and comes flying at Orton with a diving shoulder block. Orton gets up and gets hit with another flying shoulder block from Cena. Orton lunges at Cena who ducks, and then connects with the side-release spinout powerbomb that sets up for, you guessed it, the Five-Knuckle Shuffle! Cena leans over Orton with his hand to his face and does the trademark "You Can't See Me!" taunt before...

"IF YA SMEEEEEEELLLLLLLL! WHAT THE ROCK, IS COOKIN'!"

Blares over the speakers to the loudest reaction all night as The Rock comes sprinting down the aisle. He slides in the ring and him and Cena immediately begin trading blows, as the referee calls for the bell ending this match abruptly. Cena starts to get the upperhand, as he tries to send The Rock into the ropes, but gets sent himself and eats a big spinebuster for his trouble. The Rock then steps up to Cena's shoulders, kicking one of his arms, and flales his arms, bouncing off the ropes, jumps over Cena to bounce off the other ropes and then delivers a HUGE People's Elbow, causing the crowd to go crazy as Cena rolls out of the ring in pain. Orton stands up, not sure what exactly has happened, and gets a Rock Bottom for his trouble! The show ends with The Rock standing on the turnbuckle with one arm raised in the air, as Cena is backing away from the ramp, the two men staring each other down as EWW Monday Night comes to a close!

Winner: John Cena! (by DQ)

Tuesday Night Titans

- Your hosts are Todd Grisham & Jerry 'The King' Lawler.

- The show open with Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, Harris Routunda & Michael Henning in the ring. The crowd if booing as they remain speechless. Rhodes has a mic and finally waits for the booing to die before telling us that Friday was just the start. It was the beginning of THEIR time. He passes the mic to Ted who says that they took what was their. They took what they were born to have. But it wasn't just their idea... out from the back now steps a smirking Jim Cornette. He gets into the ring and is handed the microphone as he asks the fans if they missed him. He says that he understands the wrestling business like no other, and that is why he's taken these 4 men under his wing. He tells us that what we are looking at is the future of UCW and all of pro wrestling. These men have greatness in their blood. They just need to focus that natural talent, and that's where the 'Manager Of Champions' steps in. Cornette says the reason they attacked Triple H and Angle was because they are what's wrong with the business. Angle was given an easy ride thanks to his Olympic wrestling, while Triple H 'defiled' a wrestling legacy. These men were an example, just like the Hardy Boyz, the opponents of Dibiase & Rhodes, are. Undeserving of their spots, undeserving of their fame because they aren't... the Legacy.
84

El Hijo Del Santo & 'The Great' Keiji Mutoh vs. The New Freebirds (Terry Ray Gordy Jr. & Luke Gallows)
This is a well paced botu that sees the heels dominate long portions thanks to their experience as a team. Lawler brings up the name value of Santo & Mutoh, and the fact both men are true legends in this sport, especially in their native countries. After a solid few minutes of action the end comes when big Luke goes for his double chokeslam but Mutoh amazing turns it into a Shining Wizard for the 3. After the win both faces shake hands to the crowds delight.
73 - 68 - 78

- We go backstage where we see Mr. Anderson tapping up his wrist. Onto the scene walks MVP whose in a fine suit. He asks Anderson is he's ready and after a pause, both men laugh. Anderson says the day he sweats someone like Alex Riley is the day he quits this business. MVP warns him not to get too cocky. The Miz will probably rear his ugly face at ringside, which Anderson says he 'hopes will happen' so he can show him first hand that he's not just an awful wrestler, but he's an awful mentor too.
82

- We go to the ring where D'Angelo Dinero is on the mic. He's telling us that he's always wanted to leave more than just a wrestling career as his impact. That's why he's promised to take all of his earning in future PPV matches and put htem into local charities in his home of Florida. The heart warming moment is cut off by sirens as out steps Scott Steiner. Steiner asks Dinero if he's a retard, because this isn't the charity business. This is a wreslting business, and business is about making money. Steiner says the Pope is full of shit and challenges him to a match, promising to donate some money to those poor people if he can handle a night with the 'Big Bad Booty Daddy'. The Pope accepts and promises that the good lord may love him, but the Pope will whip his ass!
76

Teddy Hart vs. Michael Shane
This match is better than last weeks, as Shane is more cautious of Hart's underhanded tactics. It's still pretty mediocre, but we get a new ending when Shane dodges a springboard attack and nails a quick superkick for the 3. After his win he shakes Harts hand... only for Teddy to slap him after. Classy.
63 - 53 - 71

- We are backstage in a much nicer locker room as Alex Riley is bouncing around and generally looking pumped. A-Ri says he's ready for prime time, he's ready to shut the 'loudmouth' up. The Miz walks onto the screen in some casual wear and tells Riley he better be. Mr. Anderson insulted him and insulted Riley by proxy. Does Riley want to make the Miz look bad? It's time for A-Ri to step up and show just how good a protege of the Awesome One is! Riley looks pumped as he says he's going to crush Anderson as the promo ends.
81

Mr. Anderson w/ Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Alex Riley w/ The Miz
This is a good match with a hot crowd. A-Ri manages to hang around thanks to his mentors interferences and some well placed cheating. Anderson is still clearly outclassing him though and manages to nail a big discus punch before calling for his Mic Check finisher. Just as he hooks Riley up, The Miz dives in and nails a low blow drawing an immediate DQ. Miz looks to further his attack, but MVP is in the ring and lays into Miz with right hands before sending him right out of the ring, A-Ri crawling behind as the heels crawl up the ramp, Miz admonishing Riley for his failures.
80 - 79 - 81

- We are in Eric Bischoff's office, where he says tonight has been, unsurprisingly, great. As such, he's proud to announce that at the next PPV, International Incident, he's going to book a wrestling first. El Hijo Del Santo, Mexico's biggest star... against Keiji Mutoh, Japan's biggest star! Bischoff promises a media blitz as the crowd aren't sure how to react with two fan favorites colliding.
74

'The Pope' D'Angelo Dinero vs. 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner
This has a hot crowd, with Pop doing a good job of dragging Steiner to a watchable match. Scott plays keep away a lot, often leaving the ring and seeming uninterested in getting into a brawl with the former boxer. The Pope decides to stop waiting and kamikazes him as they brawl around ringside. Steiner seems to be getting behind but manages to duck a right hook and dump Dinero with a t-bone suplex. He than grabs a steel chair and hammers it across his opponents back, drawing an obvious DQ. Steiner wails on Pope a few more times before swinging around and hitting the referee too! This guy is fucking nuts! Steiner says he's done for tonight and walks off, apparently satisfied with his brutal attack here.
77 - 80 - 71

- We get one last shot of the Hardys heading to the ring backstage, but they don't make it as Legacy assault them! It's Harris & Henning who nail them with steel chairs before battering them with fists and slamming them against the walls and ground backstage. Harris even drills Matt with a powerbomb through a table before security finally rag them away.
68

The Legacy (Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes) w/ Jim Cornette vs. The Hardys
It seems the Hardys will just not show up as Cornette demands they be announced winners, but somehow they stumble out, apparently still willing to take the fight to the Legacy. The match is predictably one sided with Rhodes and Dibiase being paticularly cruel to Matt whose coughing up blood and looks half dead. The end is merciful when Rhodes drills Jeff with the Cross Rhodes before tagging in Ted, who slaps on a Million Dollar Dream for the 'KO' victory. The fans boo as the Legacy, once again, stand tall to end the show over decimated opponents.

Also the Dinero/Steiner feud looks B)

Great job all around. Love the use of actual tag divisions - with awesome teams to boot.

GCW's
WARzone
Wednesday, April 6, 2011-8 PM on Fox
Prudential Center, Newark, NJ

The show begins with Teddy Long in his office.

“Welcome to WARzone. Mr. McMahon appointed a General Manager of GCW, and I am here to announce that it is me, Teddy Long. For my first order of business, I have decided that at “A New Beginning”, there will be a Fatal Four Way Match between four men that I have randomly chosen. The benefit for the winner will be the #30 spot in that evening’s World Championship Royal Rumble Match. The four men that have been selected are Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, Christian and Ric Flair. Good luck to all four men.”

Overall: 73%

The opening video plays, and then we are greeted by Scott Stanford and Mick Foley. They point out that “A New Beginning” is only 4 days away, and hype the main event of Wade Barrett vs. Ric Flair. They also point out that a limo is in the parking lot, but there is no idea of who is inside.

Abyss vs. Tajiri

Another tough match for Tajiri. Tajiri tried to keep Abyss away with an variety of kicks. Abyss eventually overpowers Tajiri and hits some high impact moves, such as a sidewalk slam and a Samoan drop. Tajiri does catch Abyss in the face with a kick, but when he comes off the ropes he gets caught in the Black Hole Slam. Abyss gets the 1…2…3.

Winner: Abyss in via pin at 2:35.

Crowd Recation: 67%
Match Quality: 74%

We now air a pre-taped interview, as Ric Flair gave his thoughts on the match with Wade Barrett tonight.

Flair said that the Nexus V3 are just a lame ripoff of the original Nexus, which was a rip off of the NOW, which was a ripoff of the Four Horsemen. He says that tonight, Barrett will know that he is facing the dirtiest player in the game, and that old or not, he is still facing the man. Flair also warns the Nexus V3 that he has something in store for them if they get involved.

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::
We come back from break with a shot of the limo, and Mr. McMahon steps out. He states to no one in particular that Austin is going to be surprised tonight.

Albert Del Rio vs. Konnan

Del Rio is seen telling Konnan that he is a disrespect to Mexico. Del Rio then slaps Konnan, which in turn leads to Konnan knocking Del Rio down. Konnan remains on the offensive, arm dragging Del Rio several times. Del Rio goes to the outside and attempts to leave, but Konnan clotheslines him in the back of the head. Del Rio gains control though, when Konna goes for an irish whip into the steel railing, but Del Rio reverses it. Back in the ring, Del Rio begins to work on the left arm, driving his knee into Konnan’s arm. Del Rio goes for the Arm Bar early, but Konnan was able to escape before it was applied, and he turned it into a unique arm drag. Konnan hit a spin kick and went for the Tequila Sunrise, but Del Rio rolled over, held onto the arm, and locked in the Arm Bar! Konnan tries to get to the ropes, but he has no choice but to tap out. Del Rio then grabs a steel chair and smashes Konnan in the arm with it. He then puts the chair on Konnan’s arm, and elbow drops it. Del Rio locks on the Arm Bar again before officials comes in and hold Del Rio back.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio via submission at 8:01

Crowd Recation: 76%

Once Del Rio leaves, the crowd erupts as Stone Cold Steve Austin heads to the ring! Unfortunately, Konnan was still in the ring, and Austin gave him a Stone Cold Stunner!

Austin calls out McMahon, asking him what he meant by what he said earlier that “Austin will be surprised tonight”.

Austin: If you want Vince McMahon to get his ass in this ring and surprise Stone Cold, give me a hell yeah!

HELL YEAH!

Austin: That being said, McMahon, get your ass in this ring now.

Not McMahon…but SHEAMUS makes his way out to the ring.

As soon as he grabs a mic though, Austin swings at him and the fight is on! Austin tries for the Stunner, but Sheamus gets away, and goes for the Brogue Kick! Austin avoids it, and the two brawl before officials run in to break them up. Sheamus breaks away from security though, and hits Austin with the Brogue Kick!

Overall: 78%

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::

When we come back, an irate Stone Cold Steve Austin is going through the backstage area looking for Mr. McMahon. Austin busts into McMahon’s office, and find him. Austin goes right at him and starts hitting him with right hands! Sheamus though, already had gotten back to McMahon’s office and attacks the Rattlesnake. Again, officials run in to break up the melee, and McMahon flees for his limo. Austin slams Sheamus into a mirror inside the office, then takes off after McMahon. McMahon gets away in the limi just in time, and Austin is left cursing in the parking lot.

Val Venis, The Godfather and Kaientai vs. The Basham Brothers[/b] and The World’s Greatest Tag Team

When the competitors come out, Scott Stanford mentions on commentary that at “A New Beginning” GM Teddy Long has announced The Bashams, Venis and Godfather, The World’s Greatest Tag Team and Kaientai in a four corners tag team match for the GCW World Tag Team Championship.

Venis and Godfather had early control of this match, double teaming Danny Basham. Once Funaki ended up in the ring though, Danny Basham gained control. Doug and Danny doubled teamed Funaki, hitting a double clothesline and a double backdrop. Eventually Funaki regained the upperhand, and even took out Danny Basham with a Diamond Dust. Funaki tagged in The Godfather and he took out the Bashams. When he challenged Haas and Benjamin to get into the ring, Haas and Benjamin left, point to their armbands and saying that the Bashams aren’t Nexus, so they are against them. Taka comes in and Michinoku Drivers Danny, Godfather hits the Pimp Drop on Doug, and Val Venis hits the Money Shot on Danny for the win.

Winners: Kaientai, Godfather and Val Venis when Venis pinned Danny Basham at 5:26

::COMMERCIAL BREAK::

JBL comes out to the ring, and grabs a microphone.

JBL says that he does not feel appreciated as a wrestling legends such as those like Steve Austin and Ric Flair. He says that is why he confronted Ric Flair last Saturday night. He says when wrestling historians look back through time, they should not even question that he is the greatest wrestler of all time, a true “WRESTLING GOD”. JBL then looks at the announcers desk…

JBL: Here is a good example of an overrated, past his prime, ‘wrestling legend’. All Mick Foley ever did was go through a few tables and jump into some barbed wire. He’s not a legend. Considering someone from Long Island in the same breath as someone from the main part of New York City is a joke!

JBL then walks over to the announcers desk and gets into a shouting match with Foley. JBL ends up slapping Foley in the face, to which Foley doesn’t respond…yet you can see the anger on his face. JBL walks away, angry as well, but at the same time satisfied that he punked out Foley.

Wade Barrett w/Justin Gabriel vs. Ric Flair

Flair and Barrett circle each other early on. They tie up and Barrett shoves Flair to the mat. Flair nods his head and ties up with Barrett again, and again gets shoved to the canvas. They are about to tie up for a third time, but instead Flair kicks Barrett in the midsection. Flair follows up with chops. A lot of chops. Tons of chops. The fans WOOO for every last one. Barrett responds with a shot to the head that knocks Flair down. Barrett powerslams Flair, and gets a near fall. Barrett plants his knee into Flair’s back and applies pressure to the neck. Barrett dominates for the next couple of minutes until Flair sneaks in a few chops. Flair comes off the rops but gets sky high backdropped by Barrett. Barrett continues dominating the matchup until he misses an elbow drop, allowing Flair time to recover. Flair hits some more chops, and comes off the ropes. This time Gabriel trips Flair. Flair’s attention turns to Gabriel. Barrett attempts an attack from behind, but misses and takes out the referee. Flair uses this opportunity to hit Barrett with a low blow. Gabriel runs in but gets taken out from a hard chop by Flair. Flair doesn’t see it though…from behind, it’s Rhyno with a GORE!! Barrett takes Flair and slams him with the Wasteland. He makes the cover, and Gabriel helps the referee come to. Barrett gets the win. Barrett, Rhyno and Gabriel are joined by Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas as they put the boots to Flair…but Edge and Christian run out with chairs to save Flair! Nexus V3 runs to the outside as Edge and Christian tend to Flair.

Just some random comments as I read RDT's latest show.

Ha, damn Vince talking to no one in particular. And damn Mexican on Mexican violence...atleast Konnan was able to understand the promo Alberto Del Rio cut on him. And ah, Val Venis, The Godfather, and Kaientai - oh the memories. Good to see them back and winning <_<

Damn Wade Barrett beating Flair...I have no idea who he is to be honest since I stopped watching wrestling around the time he debuted. But I like an alliance between Flair, Edge, and Christian.

Good stuff again, keep it up! As I said before...don't let this die!

EWW Blackout kicks off with the theme song to the show, "If You Think This Song is About You, It Probably Is" by D.R.U.G.S. The arena is sold out here in Cincinatti, OH as the crowd goes crazy. The stage is set up similarly to the EWW Monday Night set, with slightly modified screens, and all the gold has been replaced with black. The crowd dies down a little as the music goes away and is replaced by silence.

Break The Walls Down

The crowd picks back up when a familiar countdown flashes across the big screen. Pyro goes off when it hits 0 and "Break the Walls Down!" blares across the speakers. The crowd erupts for the sighting of Chris Jericho. He comes to the ring in his wrestling gear and flashy bedazzled jacket, playing to the crowd as he walks in the squared circle. The crowd gets quieter waiting in anticipation for Y2J to speak.

Jericho: WELCOME! TO ELITE WORLD WRESTLING IS JERICHO!

The crowd gives a huge pop as Jericho goes on to explain that he's let too many things sidetrack him in the past, whether it be acting or writing books or Dancing With the Stars. He's here to let the fans know that he's still got it, and he's gonna give it his all every single night to be the crowd pleasing, title winning superstar that he once was. He reminds everyone that he was the FIRST undisputed champion, and now he's going to be add to his list of accolades and become the first EWW World Heavyweight Champion. He says that all of the best selling novels and salsa dancing in the world doesn't replace the feeling of raising that Title above your head and knowing you're the best in the world. He calls for Samoa Joe to come to the ring, so that he can fulfill his destiny.

Chris Jericho vs. Samoa Joe - EWW World Heavyweight Title Tournament - Round 1

Samoa Joe
's music hits and the Samoan Wrestling Machine marches his way to the ring. He climbs in and wastes no time, going after Jericho before the bell even rings. The match officially starts as Joe has the upper hand from the get-go, sending punch after kick Jericho's way. Things turn around as Joe sends Y2J into the corner and goes for a flying knee to have Jericho duck out of the way, sending Joe's knee into the turnbuckle. Y2J starts battling back and getting in a good amount of offense, even locking in the Walls of Jericho at one point, only to have Joe use his strength to make it to the ropes at the last second. Joe gets the momentum back and eventually gets Jericho in the corner, setting up for the Muscle Buster only to have Jericho kick him off at the last minute and hit a flying bulldog from the corner! The end came soon after as Jericho got right back on his feet and hit the Lionsault on the downed Samoa Joe. Jericho waited patiently for Joe to get up before sprinting at him- Codebreaker! Jericho gets the 3-count and advances onto the 2nd round of the tournament!

Winner: Chris Jericho!

After the match, Jericho helps Joe up and extends his hand to him out of respect, only to have Joe turn away from him and refuse the handshake. Jericho looks disappointed and turns to walk out of the ring, only to have Joe attack him from behind. Joe levels him and stomps on him repeatedly, then grabs Jericho by the head and throws him in the corner and starts wailing away with punches, eventually hitting the Muscle Buster before leaving the ring angrily. Jericho rolls around in pain as EWW Blackout goes to commercial.

A New Force Emerging

The show returns to the camera being backstage, as James Mitchell and Tomko are standing in the interview area. James Mitchell has a microphone and tells everyone that he's managed some great wrestlers in his time in the business. And the thing they all have in common is the fact that none of them were utilized to their full potential before he became involved. He explains how it's a tragedy what Tomko's career has become, as he's been nothing but a lackey or a bodyguard or an enforcer anywhere he's been. Mitchell promises a change for this man, and compares Tomko to a used car, that can work and be a machine that just needs some tuning up from past owners not taking care of it. Mitchell vowes that Tomko will become an EWW Champion, and everyone who has wronged him in the past, and everyone who stands in his way in the future will have hell to pay, and hell isn't gonna feel nice.

Josh Matthews: Well we've seen a lot so far and this night is just getting started!

Al Snow: Jericho advances to the 2nd round for the World Heavyweight Championship.. but at what cost? Will his body be able to compete at 100% after that vicious attack by Samoa Joe?

Matthews: And James Mitchell making a presence in EWW.. signing Tomko as a client? I'd hate to be one on one against a man as dangerous as Tomko already, and with James Mitchell in his corner, the results could be disasterous.

Snow: And speaking of disasterous, we have another first round matchup in the EWW World Heavyweight Title Tournament coming up and man this one is going to be huge.. literally!

Matthews: Kevin Nash versus The Big Show is up next, I don't even know if the ring can hold these two men's combined weight! This is gonna be a big one!

Kevin Nash vs. Big Show - EWW World Heavyweight Title Tournament - Round 1

A brawl-fest between these two 7-footers, the match is nothing out of the ordinary but still very entertaining. They both traded hitting all of their signature moves. The end came when Nash tried to powerbomb the Big Show to no avail and fell backwards into the referee, knocking him out. Big Show then capatalized, going outside and getting a chair and wailing on the unsuspecting Nash before hitting the Showstopper onto the chair. The ref came to, after the chair had been knocked out of the ring, and counted the 1-2-3.

Winner: Big Show

After the match, Big Show had decided he wasn't done, and continued beating on Nash. He picked Nash up and hit him with the Knockout Punch, before signaling to the booing crowd that another chokeslam was coming. However, Scott Hall rushes to the ring with a taser in hand and chases The Big Show out of the ring! Big Show laughs manaically walking backwards on the ramp as Hall stares at him clicking the taser before checking on his best friend in the middle of the ring.

Low Ki vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Austin Aries

Another lightweight showing, the three men trying to prove that they are indeed worthy of the EWW Light Heavyweight Championship. This was a very solid match, all three men being very comfortable with each other's styles. Low Ki got in a lot of good offense, really showing what he could do in this one. It looked like he had it when he hit the Warrior's Way on Aries, but Daniels broke up the 3 count at the last second. Daniels then appeared to have it won when he hit the Angel's Wings on Low Ki, but Aries broke it up right before the 3 count. It was highly intensive all the way through, and appeared to be very over once Aries tossed Daniels out of the ring, and hit a big brainbuster on Low Ki. He covered him up and got the 1-2... no! Low Ki got his foot on the rope at the last second, leaving Aries frustrated, throwing almost a temper tantrum in the ring. Daniels climbed back in and got in a few shots and a big enziguri on Aries, knocking him out of the ring. Low Ki gets up and tries to hit Daniels with the Fisherman Buster, but Daniels counters it into a sitout suplex. Daniels runs to the turnbuckle and bounces off the middle and then the top rope- BME! Daniels covers Low Ki and gets the 1-2-3.

Winner: Christopher Daniels!

Daniels raises his arm in victory as he heads towards the back, leaving Low-Ki lying in the ring and Aries stunned that he lost.

The People's Punt

EWW comes back from commercial as "IF YA SMEEEEEELLLLLLLLL. WHAT THE ROCK, IS COOKIN!" hits over the speakers and the crowd erupts for the sighting of The Rock. The Rock makes his way to the ring in standard Rock fashion, entering the ring and climbing up each turnbuckle, with his fist in the air taking in the crowd. When he grabs a mic eventually, the crowd simmers down to listen to the Great One.

The Rock: FINALLY! THE ROCK, HAS COME BACK, TO CINCINATTI!

The crowd roars as The Rock goes onto explain why he attacked Cena on Monday. He said it was a matter of pride, that "Cena comes out and runs his mouth about The Rock, and expected nothing to happen, like The Rock is just gonna lie back and take it like a bitch". The Rock explains that there are consequences for calling out The Rock, and that next time The Rock will make sure Cena loses his match, instead of just sending a message. He apologizes to Orton, and says that "Randy Orton was just a casualty in this war.. no hard feelings". The Rock goes on to talk about the next PPV, Vices, and tells everyone that he'll be there. And that he'll be here every week from now on. No more bringing it via satelite, no more getting called out and expected to not respond, no more taking advantage of The Rock. "It's just me, and the people, and you better damn well believe I'm going to be here each and every week for every single one of you. And anyone who calls me out or wants to use my name to boost their standing and reputation is going to be made an example out of." Almost on cue, The Rock gets drilled from behind with a chairshot. Randy Orton is standing over him, menacingly, as he starts going to town on The Rock with stomps and chairshots. He drives the chair down on The Rock's leg numerous times, before stalking The Rock waiting for him to get up, and hitting him with the RKO! Orton gets a crazed look in his eye and steps back to the corner, before running full speed at The Rock and punting him right in the skull! Orton slithers out of the ring, as the medical personel comes rushing to the ring to look at The Rock, and we go to commercial.

New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) vs. LAX (Homicide and Hernandez)

A pretty good tag team match from these two veteran teams. Road Dogg and Homicide started out the match, with Road Dogg using his size to take control first. The speed of Homicide caught quickly up to Road Dogg, however, as Homicide capatalized on Road Dogg missing a running clothesline in the corner. Homicide tagged in Hernandez who went to work quickly, and started to pound away on Road Dogg. Tides turned when he went for the Border Toss, and Road Dogg slipped out of it and made the hot tag to Billy Gunn. Gunn came in and cleaned house, taking out Homicide and Hernandez. Homicide tried to interfere, but Road Dogg hit him with a flying clothesline that sent them both over the top rope and out of the ring. Hernandez went to get to his feet, but Billy Gunn bounced off rope and hit the Fameasser! He covered him and got the 1-2-3!

Winners: New Age Outlaws!

EWW Tag Team Championship

As the New Age Outlaws celebrate mildly in the ring, Michael Cole's music hits and he struts to the edge of the stage Vinny Mac style. His music cuts off and he explains that he likes tag team competition, that two men working together is what this country is founded on, and starts rambling a little bit about our fore-fathers. He then explains that the showing from the New Age Outlaws tonight was very impressive, and he was equally impressed with the Motor City Machine Guns performance on Monday. He's decided that at EWW Vices, a 3-team tag team match will take place, between Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, and the winner of next week's tag team match between competitors that have yet to be determined. He explains though, that in his time in WWE, his favorite kind of tag team matches were when the Hardy Boyz, the Dudleys, and Edge and Christian competed in TLC tag team matches. So that's EXACTLY what kind of match we'll see at EWW Vices. He tells everyone to have a great night, and to see him on Monday, same Cole time, same Cole channel.

*commercial break*

We come back from commercials to see the announce team of Josh Matthews and Al Snow.

Snow: Wow, a blockbuster announcement from Michael Cole! Motor City Machine Guns versus The New Age Outlaws versus another team to be decided, in a TLC match for the EWW Tag Team Titles!

Matthews: Combine that with the World Heavyweight Title tournament finals, and the to be determened Light Heavyweight Championship match.. and Vices is looking like a quality pay-per-view so far!

Snow: One for the ages, Joshy. Vices will be the first of MANY great pay-per-view events that EWW will bring you. God bless our company.

Matthews: Right you are, Al. Speaking of great, up next is another first round tournament match for the aforementioned EWW World Heavyweight Title, and it pits "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels up against someone you've been around most of your career, Bubba Ray Dudley!

Snow: Indeed. I'm very excited for this one. HBK has the experience and the history on his side, but man, with D-Von close by and the hardcore edge that Bubba has, it wouldn't surprise me to see him pull a few tricks and take this one right out from under Michaels's nose.

Matthews: Especially since Shawn can't be 100% focused on this match after what happened between him and CM Punk last week. Let's get this match started already!

Shawn Michaels vs Bubba Ray Dudley - EWW World Heavyweight Title Tournament - Round 1

A very fast paced, and mixed matchup, with HBK using a lot of his speed and technique to match up with the straight brawling style of Bubba Ray Dudley. However, this one wasn't as close as the announce team was hoping it would be. Bubba got in a lot of early offense but fell victim to him mistiming a clothesline, and turning around and eating a Sweet Chin Music for his troubles! That was all she wrote as HBK got the pin for the 3 count!

Winner: Shawn Michaels!

The Element of Surprise

After the match, HBK grabbed a microphone as Bubba hobbled backstage. He spoke about how he always has enjoyed theming things, and this week's theme was surprise. On Monday, CM Punk surprise attacked him in the ring, tonight HBK surprised Bubba with the Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere, and very soon, CM Punk is going to get surprised with some old school revenge. He says that he knows Punk is from a new generation of wrestlers, one that feels they're invincible with no real consequences to their actions. He wants to remind Punk, though, that he's an old school guy. "And old school guys? Well, we know how to handle our business." He tells CM Punk to sleep with one eye open, and with a knife underneath his pillow, because you never know exactly when, where or how Shawn Michaels will extract his vengeance. "But with my God as my witness, CM Punk, you'll get what's coming to you. And it will be glorious"

*commercial break*

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio - EWW World Heavyweight Title Tournament - Round 1

"BOOYAKA BOOYAKA!" hits the speakers as Rey Mysterio jumps out from under the stage through his pyro. The crowd pops loudly as Rey runs to the ring, stopping halfway to give an extra mask to a young boy sitting in the front row. "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage abruptly starts as CM Punk makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face, casually turning and looking over his shoulder every few seconds slightly paranoid. CM Punk climbs in the ring and this match is underway!

CM Punk starts off the match taunting Rey a little, slapping him in the face and stomping on his foot while pacing around him in a circle. Rey eventually puts a stop to it with a few right hands to the face and a swift kick to the midsection. Rey starts to take a little bit of early advantage in the match-up before CM Punk reverses a headscissors take down, and throws Mysterio down onto the mat. Punk starts using the size advantage to his favor, throwing Rey around with ease almost as if he were a rag doll. He throws Rey into the corner and hits his patented running, flying knee to the face before grabbing Rey around the neck and connecting with a bulldog. Punk goes to the corner and starts "tuning the band", a clear mock to Shawn Michaels, then walks up to Rey and puts him on his shoulders for the Go To Sleep. Rey wiggles off though, and dropkicks CM Punk into the ropes! Rey calls for the 619, bounces off the ropes and connects with it! CM Punk gets flung backwards and is on his feet groggy, as Rey bounces off the top rope to go for the West Coast Pop. CM Punk comes to, however, and hits Rey with a flying knee to the face. Punk stumbles to regain his composure, and when he does he lifts Rey up trying to hit the GTS one more time- this time landing it successfully! Punk covers Mysterio and gets the 1-2-3 for the victory!

Winner: CM Punk!

After the match, CM Punk is celebrating in the ring when Shawn Michaels steps onto the ramp. Punk and HBK stare each other down, yelling insults verbally as EWW Blackout comes to a close!
