RWF PRIME TIME

Show 1.7

The show was kicked off with a recap of Coronation which saw Triple H defeating Hulk Hogan in the finals of the World Championship Tournament as Randy Savage turned on his Mega-Powers teammate to join Evolution.

After the video and the opening music/pyro, Vince Russo made his way down to the ring with a new title - The United States Championship.Russo announced that with two champions crowned at Coronation - one more would be crowned tonight. He held up the US Championship to the crowd and said that the person who holds the US Championship will also be considered the number one contender to the World Championship and due for a title shot. In fact, the person who walks out tonight as the United States Champion will receive the first title shot against Triple H - at RWF Presents: Broken Bonds.

Match 1: The Nation vs. 3 Count (w/Evan Karagias) vs. La Parka & Doink the Clown vs. Tons of Pain
This fourway match will determine a number one contender to the tag titles currently held by Patriotic Power aka Lex Luger and The Patriot. Luger and Patriot watched intently from the back as these four teams went at it with a title shot in mind. 3 Count tried to avoid any ring time at all - managing to avoid any tag attempt by the other competitors. Vader and Yokozuna dominated the majority of the match with their size and power. The match started to get out of hand as referee Mickey Jay was unable to keep up with the action as all the wrestlers started to bombard the ring. Owen Hart was on the receiving end of a Superkick from Shane Helms, who in turn received a Dominator from Faarooq. Faarooq was laid out by a missle dropkick from La Parka while Vader gave Doink a huge powerbomb. La Parka tried to fight back for his fallen friend, but Vader dropped La Parka with a big headbutt. Yokozuna and Vader were standing tall as Yokozuna went to the top rope and executed the Bonzai Drop to Owen Hart. The two seemed more interested in causing more destruction as they turned ther attentions to Shannon Moore and sandwiched the poor cruiserweight in a double splash. Meanwhile, Doink the Clown had rolled out of the ring and the second Doink returned as fresh as could be. He slid into the ring behind Vader and Yokozuna, who were too busy continuing the damage to Shannon Moore to notice the new Doink making the cover on Owen Hart. Mickey Jay made the three count to give Doink and La Parka the victory!
WINNERS - LA PARKA & DOINK by pinfall

The second Doink celebrated, but disappeared under the ring as Vader and Yokozuna realized what just happened. La Parka managed to escape before Tons of Pain could get any kind of retribution. La Parka collected the original Doink from ringside and the two celebrated up the ramp much to the delight of the crowd.

Evolution made their way down to the ring along with the newest member Randy Savage. Triple H started the promo off gloating over his victory over the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan as he sarcastically refered to Hulkamania and his pythons. Triple H said this is where the championship belongs and no matter who wins the battle royal tonight - it's going to stay there. HHH turned the microphone over to Randy Savage who proceeded to explain his actions. Savage said this is the lifestyle he deserves. With Hogan, he was always in the shadows having to listen to the fans chant his name. Savage was the whipping post while Hogan was the star. Hogan only cared about number one. Hogan never visited him in the hospital after his injuries. But he was not going to live in the shadows anymore. He was going to climb to the top of the highest mountain with Evolution - live the high life and not be anyone's whipping boy anymore. Evolution are the TRUE Mega-Powers. Should be interested to hear Hogan's response when he arrives tonight.

Match 2: Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk (w/Brian Pillman)
Having had some issues with the Straight Edge Society recently, Jericho was certainly looking forward to the chance to get his hands on the founder - CM Punk. Jericho put up a great fight against Punk, who was heavily favored going in - especially with Pillman at ringside. But Jericho's never say die attitude kept him in the match. But with some assistance from Pillman at ringside, Punk managed to take control. But when he tried to put Jericho away with the GTS, Jericho escaped and hit a running bulldog to Punk. A lionsault from Jericho would get a two count. But Jericho wasn't done - he pulled Punk to the middle of the ring and locked in the Liontamer. Referee Mike Chioda checked in on Punk, but Brian Pillman jumped onto the ring apron getting his attention. While Chioda warned Pillman - Punk started tapping out. A frustrated Jericho released the hold and confronted Pillman. Meanwhile, Punk reached into his trunks and pulled out some brass knux that he slid onto his hand. The Sandman ran down to the ring with singapore cane in hand. CM Punk waited to be able to level Jericho with the knux, but Sandman slid into the ring and cracked Punk over the head with his cane. The sound was enough to cause Chioda to turn around and see what just happened. Chioda had to call for the bell. Jericho was upset at Sandman, but Sandman used his cane to point out Punk's brass knuckles. Jericho, still frustrated, snatched the cane from Sandman. Sandman dared Jericho to hit him, but meanwhile Pillman climbed to the top rope. Sandman warned Jericho as Pillman came flying off the top rope. Jericho turned and cracked the cane across Pillman's ribs as he flew off the top rope! Sandman and Jericho left the ring leaving The Straight Edge Society licking their wounds.
WINNER - CM PUNK by disqualification

A Surprise for The Undertaker
Randy Orton and Edge - Rated RKO - made their way out to the ring to address The Undertaker's recent stalking of them. They wanted to let The Undertaker know that they think they have figured out why he's stalking them so much. It wasn't that he was a sore loser, but it's actually that he was lonely. And they can understand that - everyone needs a friend.

Before they could get to the point, the lights in the arena dimmed as The Undertaker slowly made his way out from the back. Orton was glad Undertaker showed up, because they have a surprise for him. They wanted to make amends with Undertaker and offer a bit of a reunion of sorts. They said that they wanted Undertaker to not be so lonely anymore...so they invited his BROTHER to join them!

"Brimstone" hit the PA system as fire shot from the turnbuckles. Undertaker stopped halfway down the ramp, turned around and saw his brother Kane emerging from backstage. Kane stormed down the ramp. The two phenom's began exchanging blows as Edge and Orton both grinned in the ring. They fought down to ringside where Kane slid his brother into the ring. Edge and Orton met Taker with boots to his back as Kane climbed into the ring. Edge and Orton continued laying the boots to Taker before they each took an arm and pulled him to his feet. They nodded to Kane and shoved Undertaker to him. Kane took Undertaker by the throat and delivered a big chokeslam. Orton and Edge gave Kane a pat on the shoulder, apparently having the Big Red Machine under their control. The three left the ring together as Undertaker was left laid out...that is until they disappeared backstage - and The Undertaker sat up!

Next member of Evolution?
Chris Kanyon made his way out to the ring to boos from the crowd for his upcoming match against Diamond Dallas Page. But first, Kanyon wanted to make a statement. He said that if anyone knows about winning and living the high life, it's Chris Kanyon. He said he drinks champaign for breakfast. He is a champion and tonight will be United States champion. He said he heard Triple H is still looking for one more spot in Evolution and he said if anyone belongs in Evolution - it's Chris Kanyon. He promised to demonstrate his winning ways against DDP tonight. After all, when it comes to anything including being in Evolution - WHO'S BETTA THAN KANYON? According to the crowd - everyone.

Match 3: Chris Kanyon vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly)
So here is Chris Kanyon who apparently wants to win the affection of Evolution, but to do so he was going to try and put on a convincing match against DDP. However, from the opening bell it was all DDP. That is until Kanyon used a well placed thumb to the eye of Page to get the upperhand. Kanyon took control and managed to get a few nearfalls on Page, but could not keep him down. Page fought back and leveled Kanyon with a discuss clothesline to get a two count. They began to go back and forth until Kanyon attempted a superkick which was caught by Page. Page spun Kanyon around by his leg and then caught him with the Diamond Cutter! DDP made the cover and got the three count victory.
WINNER - DDP by pinfall

Hulk Hogan Arrives
In the parking lot, Hulk Hogan gets out of his car and grabs his gym bag before heading towards the arena. Tony Shiavone explained it was time for us to hear from Hogan before the 30-Man Battle Royal, but as Hogan entered the arena - Razor Ramon met him with a chair to the head! Triple H and Randy Savage joined in on the beating as they took Hogan back outside to the parking lot. They slammed Hogan head first into his own car repeatedly. Razor Ramon went through Hogan's bag and got the keys. He pops Hogan's trunk and they proceed to lift the bloodied Hogan up and drop him into the trunk. Savage slammed the trunk shut. Evolution leans against the car, satisfied with the damage they had done. Looks like the 30-Man Battle Royal just became a 29-Man Battle Royal.

MAIN EVENT: Battle Royal
29 Man Battle Royal for the United States Championship

All thirty men are in the ring and it's an extremely crowded ring to say the least. Some can't even wait for the bell to get their hands on some of the people in the ring - Jericho and The Miz are already going at it while Sandman and Punk are also already brawling. There's too much action to really call it all, so let's just try to keep up with the eliminations.

Looks like the first elimination was Rob Van Dam by Randy Savage - while Buff Bagwell was being thrown out by The Undertaker.

Sting and Kurt Angle were doing battle...and out goes Angle!

Evan Karagias was sent packing by The Undertaker!

Brian Pillman and CM Punk were trying to eliminate The Sandman - Chris Jericho came over and got rid of Pillman! Over the top and out goes Pillman.

Elsewhere, Chris Kanyon was trying to help Randy Savage with The Undertaker - but only gets himself eliminated as Undertaker tosses him over the top rope!

John Cena was sent packing by Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels finally got the best of The Miz and sent him over the top rope to the floor. But Miz stayed at ringside, apparently suffering an ankle injury.

The Undertaker fought off Orton and Edge, and actually sent Orton over the top rope to the floor! Meanwhile, his brother Kane eliminated DDP before going toe to toe with is brother in the middle of the ring.

Bret Hart was working over Shawn Michaels - attempting to get him over the top rope as The Miz was suddenly all better. He jumped up and gave the assist to Bret Hart; eliminating Shawn Michaels.

Sting, Chris Jericho, and Ahmed Johnson teamed up to get Mike Awesome out of contention.

In a battle of the freakshows - Goldust actually sent Mankind over the top rope to the floor, while Ahmed Johnson sent Owen Hart packing.

CM Punk found some assistance from Ernest Miller as they managed to eliminate The Sandman.

And speaking of teaming up, the newfound alliance of Rated RKO and Kane provided to be a good thing for Edge as he and Kane; as together they managed to eliminate The Undertaker. Unfortunately, Edge became to cocky as he turned around and was in turn eliminated by Chris Jericho!

Razor Ramon and Randy Savage had been working together against Sting, but Chris Jericho evened the odds and paired up with Savage. With the fans behind Sting, he fought back against Razor Ramon and ended up sending him over the top rope to the floor!

Bret Hart and Test seemed to form a Canadian bond as they had teamed up against Ahmed Johnson - but as they were working together to try and eliminate Ahmed - Kane came up behind them and dumped all three! But Ahmed Johnson landed on the apron to save himself but Hart and Test were out!

Randy Savage and Sting were struggling against the ropes, each one trying to eliminate the other. They found themselves both over the top rope and fighting it out on the apron, both trying to hang on and eliminate the other. But Kane put them both out of their misery, knocking them both off the apron to the floor. Savage and Sting were both eliminated!

Ernest "The Cat" Miller had spent most of the match trying to avoid contact with anyone in the ring, but Chris Jericho had got on to his strategy, and a dropkick to Miller sent him over the top to the floor.

In a battle of two powerhouses, Scott Steiner and Ahmed Johnson were exchanging blows near the ropes. Steiner had Johnson reeling against the ropes. He backed up and charged in for a clothesline to attempt to send Johnson over the top rope, but Johnson countered with a backdrop that sent Steiner over the top rope, crashing to the apron and then to the floor!

The final FIVE: Kane, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Ahmed Johnson, and Goldust

Goldust, CM Punk, Jericho, and Johnson each stood in a corner of the ring while Kane stood in the middle. Kane had been impressive the whole battle royal, and each man was hesitant to go after the Big Red Machine. Goldust was the one crazy enough to try first, charging at Kane only to be met with a Big Boot. Kane picked Goldust up and hurled him over the top rope to the floor!

Jericho, Ahmed Johnson, and CM Punk briefly worked together, attacking Kane right after he eliminated Goldust. Together they combined their efforts and managed to send Kane over the top rope to the floor. Kane landed on his feet, but was eliminated.

CM Punk, clearly exhausted from the long night, collapsed against the ropes, trying to catch his breath. Ahmed Johnson decided to try and take advantage, by charging at Punk...but Punk dropped down, pulling the top rope down which sent Johnson sailing over the ropes to the floor! Johnson was eliminated!

So it all came down to Jericho vs. CM Punk...in a flashback to the match earlier tonight, we remember CM Punk only won thanks to a DQ from interference from The Sandman. Jericho looked to prove he belonged with CM Punk in the the ring and the crowd was clearly behind the young babyface. The two went back and forth in the ring for a few moments before Punk struck Jericho with a low blow. Punk lifted Jericho up into a fireman's carry and walked over to the ropes and tried to dump Jericho over the top rope to the floor. Jericho fell and Punk throught he had the match won...but Jericho had held onto the top rope!

Jericho was hanging on for dear life as Punk was celebrating what he thought was his new championship. But Jericho pulled himself back up onto the apron and waited. Punk turned around and Jericho springboarded into the ring looking for a hurricanrana. But Punk held on and pulled Jericho back up into the Powerbomb position. Punk ran with Jericho and looked to powerbomb him over the top rope, but Jericho countered and sent Punk over the top rope with a rana! Jericho landed on the apron while Punk landed on the floor!

Defying all odds, Chris Jericho was the last man standing! He is the new United States Champion and will face Triple H at the PPV for a title shot! The fans are in disbelief as well, but they cheer for the young underdog's huge victory while Punk steams at ringside.

WINNER AND NEW UNITES STATES CHAMPION - CHRIS JERICHO by over the top rope elimination

The show ended with Jericho taking his United States Championship and celebrating with the fans.

Show 1.8

Tony Shiavone and Michael Cole are our hosts.

Hulk Hogan Responds
After being assaulted last week by Evolution before he could even enter the arena, Hogan made his way out to start the show. The fans gave Hogan a huge ovation, and it took a while for them to quiet down before he could start talking. He said that you never really know what it feels like to have a friend stab you in the back until it happens to you. He doesn't understand what changed in Randy's mind that made him think that Hogan was anything but a friend to Randy. He explained that he's always been there for Randy, for years now. He understands Randy's desire to want to succeed without being by his side, but there were other ways to go about it, and the way he did it is not respectable in any way. He lost all the respect he once had for his friend, and said that Savage would live to regret the decision he made. Because he just got out of a long meeting with Vince Russo and at BROKEN BONDS - Hogan will get his change for some redemption as he will take on Randy Savage in the MAIN EVENT of Broken Bonds! So whatcha gonna do Randy Savage, when HULKAMANIA gets some vengeance and RUNS WILD ON YOU!

Match 1: Mankind vs. Rob Van Dam
Mankind sat in the corner, rocking back and forth as RVD made his entrance. Michael Cole talked about Mankind's tortured soul during the match, as Mankind unleashed an onslaught of offense to RVD, with no regards to his own body. During the match, Papa Shango walked out onto the stage and watched the match as Mankind seemed to be dominating RVD. But as the match wore on, Mankind's own offense seem to be wearing himself down and he began apparently arguing with himself over what moves to perform next. As Mankind argued with himself, RVD fought back. RVD would eventually lay out Mankind with a jumping sidekick and finish him off with the Five Star Frog Splash for the victory. After the match, Papa Shango walked back off the stage and returned to the back.
WINNER - ROB VAN DAM by pinfall

Backstage with Evolution
In the luxurious Evolution suite, Triple H, Randy Savage, and Razor Ramon responded to Hogan's comments. They mocked Hogan and Savage said he would have no problem ripping Hogan's head off at Broken Bonds. Triple H then mocked his opponent at Broken Bonds, Chris Jericho, proclaiming his first title match to be a cakewalk and that he'll have so much free time that Sunday that it'll be like a day off. Razor Ramon promised to give Chris Jericho a tasting of what he can expect when he steps into the ring with Evolution, tonight in their match.

Match 2: Goldust vs. Kane (w/Edge & Randy Orton)
Kane was accompanied to the ring by his sudden new cohorts - Rated RKO. This was a bit of a flashback to the Battle Royal, as it was Kane who eliminated Goldust when it got down to the final five competitors. Goldust apparently gets a second chance to try and prove something against Kane. Unfortunately, Goldust was clearly no match for the Big Red Machine. Goldust tried valiantly early, but his offense was no-sold by Kane, and Kane proceeded to dominant Goldust as Edge & Orton egged him on from ringside. Kane's punishment would eventually become too much as referee Mickey Jay disqualified him for excessively choking Goldust in the corner with his big boot. After the match, Mickey Jay received a chokeslam as a thanks for the DQ and Goldust receives a Tombstone - much to the delight of Rated RKO.
WINNER - GOLDUST by disqualification

A Showstopping Challenge
The next segment would see The Miz making his way down to the ring to address Shawn Michaels. Week after week, Miz has had to keep looking over his shoulder, never knowing where HBK would pop up next. But Miz said that it was time for this to end. He wanted HBK to be a man and not pop out of a box or a cake or anything - just come down the ramp and face him in the ring like a man. Shawn Michaels, never one to disappoint, follows through with The Miz's request and made his way down to the ring with no surprises. The Miz demanded the shenanigans be put to a rest, and wanted to know what it would take to get HBK off his back. Shawn Michaels said it was simple - it all started with the idea of an HBK vs. Miz match, and that's all he wants. Miz agrees, and the match is set for Broken Bonds. As Shawn Michaels left the ring, Miz commented that he can't wait to show the world who the true Showstopper in RWF is.

Match 3: "Lionheart" Chris Jericho vs. Razor Ramon
Prior to the match, Razor Ramon took a poll of the audience, to find out how many people came here tonigh to see Evolution and how many came here to see Chris Jericho. The fans decidedly chose Chris Jericho, but somehow Razor Ramon heard Evolution, so that's one more for the "good" guys. The new United States Champion Chris Jericho was not putting his title up against Ramon here, but more looking to make a statement to Evolution and especially Triple H that he is a real contender for the title. Perhaps Razor Ramon wasn't expecting this, as Jericho seemed to really catch him off guard early with his inspired and rapid fire offense. After several nearfalls, Razor Ramon managed to poke Jericho in the eye to slow the speedy youngster down. Ramon took control, and worked over Jericho slowly but steadily. A fallaway slam by Ramon garnished a near three count. Ramon looked to finish Jericho off with the Razor's Edge, but Jericho reversed it into a roll up for a nearfall. A dropkick from Jericho followed by a running bulldog set up Ramon for the Lionsault which he hit perfectly. Chris Kanyon jogged down to the ring as Jericho looked to go for the Liontamer. Kanyon jumped onto the ring apron, providing a distraction for Jericho. Jericho got in Kanyon's face as Ramon recovered. Ramon tried to take advantage of the distraction, charging at Jericho...but Jericho moved and Ramon collided with Kanyon! Kanyon fell off the apron and Jericho rolled up Ramon and got the three count!
WINNER - CHRIS JERICHO by pinfall

A Backfired Plan
Backstage, "Mene" Gene Okerlund was with a depressed looking Chris Kanyon who is trying so hard to get on Evolution's good side to get in with the group. Okerlund wants to know WHY Kanyon would want to be associated with the group. Kanyon said that Evolution was an elite group that anyone who had half a brain would want to be associated with. He hoped that they could be forgiving as he is trying so hard to show them his worth and be accepted by the group. Razor Ramon walked into the shot and told Kanyon to just stop trying because there's no way he's ever going to be worthy of being a member of Evolution. Ramon left, leaving Kanyon looking dejected. Okerlund tried to follow up, but Kanyon just responded with a "No further questions" before walking off.

Match 4: The Nation & 3-Count vs. Patriotic Power, La Parka, Doink, and Ahmed Johnson
Referee Charles Robinson was clearly going to have his hands full in this match. The tag champs were teaming up with their number one contenders here, and they clearly had...some kind of respect for each other - at least about as much respect you can have for a guy in a skeleton outfit and a guy in a clown costume. The faces looked dominate early, as Luger, Patriot, and Ahmed Johnson overpowered the members of 3 Count who were in the ring at the time. Bret Hart and Test came out during this match just to watch apparently. Doink would eventually find himself in the ring with Faarooq, who overpowered the clown and took control of the match. Doink would become our face in peril as the heels took turns working the clown over and getting nearfalls only to have another face break it up. Doink would eventually make the hot tag to Luger who cleaned house until Owen Hart attacked Luger from behind. The ring quickly filled up with everyone, except Doink who rolled out of the ring. With the match breaking down, Luger was dumped to ringside where Bret Hart and Test had arrived. Referee Charles Robinson was too busy trying to get the match back under control that he did not witness Test delivering the Big Boot to Luger on the outside! The second Doink entered the ring and unleashed a barrage of offense to each heel in the ring, but eventually the numbers became too much as Luger was out cold on the outside. The second Doink was hit with a Dominator from Faarooq while La Parka was laid out with a superkick from Shane Helms. Eventually all the faces were cleared out except for Ahmed Johnson who found himself at the receiving end of a double suplex from Owen Hart. Karagias hit the Outrageous Corkscrew to the laid out Johnson, allowing Owen Hart to make the cover and get the victory.
WINNERS - THE NATION & 3-COUNT by pinfall

The Cat's Corner
This week on The Cat's Corner, Ernest Miller had a very special guest for us - Olympic Gold Medalist - Kurt Angle. Angle came out to loud boos from the crowd, and proceeded to thank The Cat as his gracious host. Angle broke the news about Jack Swagger's injury and that Angle will be the only All-American American representing RWF for the next few weeks. This brought out Sting to a big pop from the crowd. Sting said that while he hates seeing a fellow competitor being sidelined with an injury, he thinks this is the perfect opportunity for him because now the playing field is evened. Angle doesn't have swagger in his corner to have Angle's back if Angle gets in trouble. Sting says this is the perfect opportunity for a one-on-one match between the Stinger and Angle. Angle was having none of this idea, however. He said that he has nothing to prove to Sting or anyone else. He's an Olympic Gold Medalist and Sting shouldn't even be allowed in the same ring as him. He does not have the accolades Angle does and he says he refuses the match offer, and there's nothing he can do about it. Angle left the ring leaving Sting with his hands on his hips, shaking his head in disbelief.

Match 5: John Cena vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly)
Presumably just a filler match, Cena received a good amount of heat from the crowd during the match as he actually was in control of the heavy fan-favorite Page for most of the match. A spinout powerbomb from Cena would land only a two count, which caused Cena to get in referee Mike Chioda's face. DDP recovered, and fought back against Cena much to the delight of the cheering crowd. But as Page lifted Cena up into a fireman's carry after signaling for the Diamond Cutter...a huge tower of a man emerged from the back. Michael Cole introduced him as the tallest wrestler EVER - GIANT GONZALES. Gonzales entered the ring and leveled DDP with a big chop. Cena was not immune to Gonzales's debut assault as he laid Cena out with a big boot. DDP tried to attack the mamouth 7'7" beast, but Gonzales was impervious to the offense, and grabbed DDP by the throat, delivering a big CHOKESLAM. Cena stumbled to his feet but walked right into THE CLAW. Cena dropped to his knees in pain, eventaully dropping to the mat, passing out from the dangerous submission. The Giant Gonzales threw his arms in the air to boos from the crowd.
WINNER - NO CONTEST

Straight Edge Challenge
Mene Gene was with CM Punk and Brian Pillman backstage. Punk said he was growing very tired of the constant annoyance that is The Sandman. He's already defeated him on more than one occasion, but he just will not let an issue drop. So Punk wants to rid himself of Sandman once and for all. And what better way than to take the vile beer drinking infidel and make an example out of him. At Broken Bonds, CM Punk wants to go one-on-one with The Sandman - and if CM Punk wins, The Sandman MUST convert to STRAIGHT EDGE.

MAIN EVENT: Edge (w/Randy Orton & Kane) vs. The Undertaker
With Orton and Kane at ringside, the Dead Man was going to have to worry about more than just Edge in the ring. Undertaker didn't let it effect him early, as he took clear control of Edge from the opening bell. Orton attempted to interfere, but Taker knocked him off the apron and went back to work on Edge. Edge did manage to fight his way back into the match and laid out Taker with a swinging neckbreaker. Edge went on the offensive, but Taker kept popping right back up to his feet. Edge began to grow frustrated with his inability to keep the Undertaker down. Edge complained to referee Earl Hebner, but this only gave Undertaker more time to recover. Edge turned around and walked into a clothesline from Undertaker. Undertaker resumbed control, and after performing his armtwist ropewalk chop and made the cover for a two count. After dropping Edge face first across the top turnbuckle with the snake eyes, Undertaker seemed like he was ready to finish Edge off. But Orton jumped up onto the apron grabbing the attention of Earl Hebner and Undertaker. Behind Hebner's back, KANE entered the ring. Undertaker turned and met Kane with some right hands. Undertaker managed to hold his brother off and clothesline him over the top rope to the floor...but when Undertaker turned around he was met with the SPEAR from Edge! Orton immediately jumped off the apron as Edge made the cover on Undertaker which was enough for the three count.
WINNER - EDGE by pinfall

After the match, Kane and Orton entered the ring as Edge was putting the boots to Taker. Kane picked his brother up and dropped him back down to the mat with a Chokeslam. Orton wanted a piece of Undertaker as well. Edge and Kane lifted Undertaker back to his feet, which allowed Randy Orton to drop Undertaker with the RKO! The show ended with the three heels standing tall over the fallen Undertaker.

Show 1.9

Match 1: Lex Luger (w/The Patriot) vs. Bret Hart (w/Test)
This week's show kicked right off with action as Lex Luger and Bret Hart were scheduled to do battle. Bret Hart's new allegiance with Test continued this week, as Test accompanied the Hitman to ringside. Luger was in control early, until a distraction from Test at ringside allowed Hart to take control. Hart worked over Luger's legs to set him up for an eventual Sharpshooter - taking any cheap shot he could along the way. With the fans behind him, Luger began to find his second wind and fought his way back into the match. Luger had Hart reeling and was signalling for the Torture Rack when Test jumped onto the apron. This distracted Luger, but The Patriot pulled Test down and the two began exchanging blows. Luger was watching the two fight...when Bret Hart rolled up Luger! With a handful of tights, Bret Hart got the three count victory.
WINNER - BRET HART by pinfall

Test had laid out Patriot at ringside and entered the ring and the two began to double team the other half of the tag champs. Test laid out Luger with the Big Boot to boos from the crowd. Hart and Test left the champs laid out as the show headed to commercials.

Back from commercials, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was backstage trying to get the scoop on this new alliance of Bret Hart and Test. Bret Hart did the talking here - refering to Test as "The Canadian Enforcer." He proceeded to bash America and what it stood for, and bashed Luger and the Patriot for their patrioticness, if that's even a word. Hart said that Canada was home of all the greatest things and greatest wrestlers, and the newly formed Canadian Foundation would soon show the RWF that very "fact."

A Gigante Rap
John Cena made his way out to the ring before his match against Giant Gonzales - receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd. Cena cut a freestyle rap on the big man - refering to him as a dumb giant and commenting on how bad he smells. The fans actually seem to enjoy Cena's rap this time, many laughing at his cut downs on the hated giant.

Match 2: John Cena vs. Giant Gonzales
From the opening bell, Cena tried to attack Gonzales head on with punches and kicks, but Gonzales no-sold all of it and laid out Cena with a massive head butt. Slowly, Gonzales stalked around the ring, laying out Cena with slow move after slow move..much to the disdain of the crowd. Cena seemed to have no chance against the big man, but Gonzales never even tried to make a pinfall. Gonzales finally locked on the Claw to Cena, but after Cena passed out from the pain - Gonzales refused to release the hold despite referee Mickey Jay's warnings. Mickey Jay disqualified Gonzales, but Gonzales could care less. He just kept applying the pressure. When Mickey Jay tried to break it up, Gonzales lifted Mickey Jay up with his free hand and tossed him to the mat. Diamond Dallas Page rushed the ring and made the save for Cena, breaking up the hold. But unfortunately, Page did not fair much better. After having his attack no-sold, Gonzales laid out Page with a chokeslam. Gonzales, pleased with the carnage left in the ring, left to boos from the crowd.
WINNER - JOHN CENA by disqualification

An Opportunity for Kanyon
Backstage in Evolution's private suite - Chris Kanyon entered nervously. Triple H said he wanted to apologize on the behalf of Razor Ramon for his outburtst last week. Ramon was just upset about his loss, but that an opportunity would be available for Kanyon to prove himself worthy of Evolution. Tonight, Kanyon has a one-on-one match with Hulk Hogan. He explained that Evolution would be very pleased if Hogan was unable to talk out of the arena tonight under his own power...Kanyon promised that tonight, the only way Hogan was leaving the arena was on a stretcher.

Match 3: Chris Kanyon vs. Hulk Hogan
So, would Kanyon live up to his word and show Evolution what he's made of? Hogan certainly wasn't going to take it lying down, that's for sure. Unfortunately for Kanyon, Hogan appeared to be making short work of him - dominating the majority of the match. A well timed low blow behind the ref's back gave Kanyon the opening he needed and he tried to take advantage. After a swinging neckbreaker, Kanyon picked up a two count. Kanyon's momentum was short lived, as the crowd got behind Hogan and he hulked right on up. Hogan would lay out Kanyon and finish him off with the Atomic Legdrop for the victory.
WINNER - HULK HOGAN by pinfall

After the match, Hogan was posing for the crowd as Kanyon rolled out of the ring. Still wanting to live up to his promise, Kanyon grabbed a chair from ringside and slid into the ring. Kanyon cracked the chair across Hogan's back! This sent Hogan to the mat where Kanyon laid several more chair shots to Hogan's back. He pulled Hogan back to his feet and dropped Hogan with a Flatliner onto the chair! Kanyon raised his arms up in celebration as the crowd met him with boos. Kanyon returned to the back as the show went to a commercial break.

Brotherly Bonds
After the commercials, Tony Shiavone showed us footage from the break where Hogan did indeed leave the ring under his own power after Kanyon's assault. Looks like mission not accomplished after all for Kanyon.

Randy Orton, Edge, and Kane made their way to the ring. Orton took the microphone and began to cut a promo on The Undertaker and the upcoming Broken Bonds PPV. Orton just got out of a meeting with Vince Russo and they have come to an agreement on a match that really epitomizes the name Broken Bonds. At the PPV, The Undertaker will go one on one against his own brother, Kane! Orton went on a rant explaining how important the brotherly bond is and how The Undertaker turned his back on that bond when they were but little kids. Kane has been waiting a LONG time to get his payback, and now he will be able to. And just to make sure everything is fair in this sibling rivalry - the referee in this match will be Randy Orton himself! And because he's a man known for his ability of keeping time - Edge will be the special guest time keeper!

The fans did not like Rated RKO's announcement concerning the Broken Bonds match, but Edge and Orton could barely contain their excitement. Wherever The Undertaker is tonight, he probably wasn't too thrilled either.

Match 4: Mike Awesome vs. Doink The Clown (w/La Parka)
Mike Awesome finally got his rematch against the clown who cost him a spot in the RWF World Championship tournament. Awesome wasted no time unleashing his anger on the clown, as Doink barely got a single bit of offense in. After taking an onslaught of brutal offense from Awesome, Doink rolled out to ringside to try and recover..as the second Doink emerged from under the ropes. But referee Charles Robinson spotted him! Robinson left the ring to admonish the second Doink. Meanwhile, Bret Hart and Test ran down to ringside and assaulted La Parka and Doink outside the ring! They slid Doink back into the ring and continued to pulverize La Parka at ringside. Hart and Test finished up as Charles Robinson finally turned around and sent the Second Doink away as well. Mike Awesome finished Doink off with the Awesome Bomb to get the victory.
WINNER - MIKE AWESOME by pinfall

After the match, Hart and Test continued to attack La Parka and Doink until Patriotic Power rushed down to the ring to make the save. Hart and Test bailed as Luger and Patriot slid into the ring. The heels scurried away as Luger and Patriot checked on their fallen number one contenders.

Avoiding Being Stung
Backstage, Mean Gene was with Kurt Angle - trying to figure out why Kurt Angle would not accept Sting's challenge for a one-on-one match. Okerlund accused Angle of ducking Sting's challenge. Angle said he wasn't ducking anyone - he just explained that he has absolutely nothing to prove. He's already beaten Sting and there's no reason he needs to waste his time. Angle explained to Okerlund that his time is very important - as an Olympic gold medalist, he's extremely busy. In fact, he is suppose to be making his way to the ring right now for the Main Event!

MAIN EVENT: Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels
A good back and forth matchup that the fans were very into was marked by several nearfalls for both men. Halfway through the match The Miz made his way down to ringside - apparently scouting out his opponent at Broken Bonds. Well, he appeared to be doing more than scouting as when HBK began warming up the band for some Sweet Chin Music, The Miz slid into the ring and attacked HBK! Earl Hebner immediately called for the bell.
WINNER - SHAWN MICHAELS by disqualification

Kurt Angle got to his feet and decided to help The Miz out with the beating of Shawn Michaels. This didn't last long until Sting sprinted down to the ring to even the odds. Angle jumped to ringside and Sting cleared the ring of the Miz. Sting helped HBK to his feet as Angle and Miz headed up the ramp. Vince Russo appeared on the RandomTRON and said there's still time left in the show...so he decided there should be a BONUS main event! Shawn Micaels and Sting would team up to take on The Miz and Kurt Angle!

BONUS MAIN EVENT: The Miz & Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels & Sting
Miz and Angle reluctantly returned to the ring, where Miz started the match off against Sting while HBK took to the corner to try and regain his composure from the beatdown. Sting impressed early against Miz, and Angle refused to make the tag when Miz asked for it. HBK was tagged back in and continued to work over Miz. Miz got a cheapshot in on HBK to level him and made the tag to Angle. Angle came in and took control of HBK and the heels began to work over the already exhausted Michaels. However, HBK ducked a clothesline attempt from the Miz and came back with a flying forearm that left both men down. HBK kipped up and made the tag to Sting! Sting came in as Miz jumped up to tag in Angle, but Angle jumped off the apron! A surprised Miz found himself on the receiving end of a fast and furious attack from Sting. Two stinger splashes sent Miz stumbling into a flying crossbody from Sting. Sting popped up and pulled the Miz to the center of the ring where he locked in the Scorpion Deathlock! Just as the Miz was about to tap out, Angle came in from behind and laid a right hand to the back of Sting's head. Sting was laid out in a single blow! Earl Hebner checked on both men as Angle walked over to the ropes and laid out HBK with a single punch as well. With Hebner checking on Miz and Sting, Angle dropped a roll of quarters out of his right hand to ringside! Angle picked Sting back up and dropped him with the Angle Slam! Angle left the ring as Miz rolled over and made the cover, picking up the three count victory!
WINNERS - THE MIZ & KURT ANGLE by pinfall

The Miz stumbled to his feet as Angle backed up the ramp, stopping to look back in the ring where HBK and Sting were still laid out. The show came to an end with Angle giving a smirk at the damage left in the ring as Miz had his arm raised by Earl Hebner.

RWF PRIME TIME

Show 1.10

No Longer Handicapped

The show opened up with Evolution making their way down to the ring, led by RWF World Champion Triple H. They were out to verbally bash not only the fans but their opponents both tonight and at Broken Bonds - Hulk Hogan and Chris Jericho. They were already discussing the big afterparty in celebration of their victories this coming Sunday.

Out came Hulk Hogan and Chris Jericho to defend their own honor. Hogan was glad to see them so confident, because they just came directly from Vince Russo's office - and Hogan had TWO big announcements to make about not just tonight but Sunday as well. First, he wanted to let both Triple H and Randy Savage know a thing or two about Sunday that makes an epic match much bigger - Russo has agreed that if Hogan defeats Randy Savage in the main event of this Sunday's PPV - Hogan will earn a RWF World Title shot! Jericho steps in and tells Hogan it would be an honor to have Hogan be his first opponent as RWF Champion. Triple H, unpleased with that announcement, looks like he is about to burst a blood vessel in the ring.

But Hogan wasn't done yet. He said that tonight, Hogan had no problems teaming with Jericho and taking on all three members of Evolution at once if it was a fair fight. But he knows Evolution and knows that wasn't going to happen. So he asked Russo if they managed to find a third person willing to team with them, if he would make it a 6 man tag. Russo agreed.

Triple H laughed and said there was no chance that Hogan could find anyone DUMB enough to agree to team with those two to take on THESE three.

Cue The Ultimate Warrior! Ultimate Warrior charged down from the back like he was shot out of the cannon to a big pop from the crowd. Evolution cleared the ring as Warrior joined Hogan and Jericho. The three stood tall in the ring as Evolution scurried up the ramp.

Match 1: La Parka & Doink the Clown vs. The Canadian Foundation
In a preview of this Sunday's triple threat match for the RWF Tag Championships, the two challenging teams squared off against one another as Lex Luger and The Patriot watched from the ramp. Bret Hart and Test dominated the majority of the match, leaving Doink the Clown in the ring unable to make the tag to La Parka. But Doink managed to hit Bret Hart with a jawbreaker to escape a sleeper, that allowed him to make the tag to La Parka. La Parka came in and laid the boots to Hart and looked to take advantage of the woozy Hart as Doink dropped to ringside. A second Doink appears from underneath the ring on the opposite side of the ropes, beside Test. Just as Bret Hart was able to break free from La Parka and try to make the fresh tag to Test - the second Doink pulled Test off the apron! A surprised Bret Hart was rolled up from behind by La Parka for a three count! Post match, a frustrated Bret Hart attacked La Parka as Test assaulted Doink at ringside. Lex Luger and The Patriot ran down to the ring to make the save for La Parka and Doink once again. Patriotic Power and The Canadian Foundation brawled until RWF officials flooded the ring to break them up.
WINNERS - LA PARKA & DOINK by pinfall

Taming the Sandman
Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was with CM Punk and Brian Pillman. Punk did the talking here, promoting his match with The Sandman at Broken Bonds. CM Punk assures us that the Sandman's days of drinking, smoking, and being a burden on society will soon be over. After CM Punk defeats him at Broken Bonds, he will transform Sandman into a well functioning gentlemen that will actually benefit society instead of hindering it. We will not even recognize him. A new Sandman will be born into the life of straight Edge.

Match 2: Goldust vs. The Sandman
The Sandman was definitely looking forward to getting his hands on CM Punk this Sunday, but he could not look past his opponent of the evening - Goldust. Sandman dominated Goldust early into the match when Papa Shango emerged from the back. Michael Cole reminded us that Papa Shango did this exact thing two weeks ago during Goldust's match. Sandman paid no attention to Shango, and continued to lay the beating onto Goldust. Papa Shango walked down the aisle and climbed onto the apron, bringing over referee Charles Robinson. Shango proceeded to blow smoke into Robinson's face - blinding the ref. Sandman came over to get rid of Shango, but Shango clocked Sandman across the head with the skull in his hand. Sandman stumbled backwards into Goldust who hit Sandman with the Curtain Call! Shango climbed down off the apron as Goldust made the pin just as Robinson was able to clear his eyes and make the three count. Post match, Papa Shango climbed into the ring and Goldust seemed to object to Shango's interference, but Shango laid out Goldust with a hard right hand. Goldust hit the mat, but got up and tried to fight back...but Shango pulled a figurine of Goldust out of his jacket, causing Goldust to stop in his track. Shango spoke in some tongues while waving the figurine around as Goldust appeared to go into a trance. Shango left the ring, Goldust following behind him - completely emotionless.
WINNER - GOLDUST by pinfall

Nothing to Prove
Kurt Angle was standing by with Mean Gene who again accused Angle of ducking Sting's challenge. Angle said that Sting had his chance last week to prove that he deserved to be in the same ring as Angle, and what happened? Once again, Sting was on the losing end. So Sting is 0-2 versus Angle as far as he's concerned, and that should be good enough for all of us. He has nothing to prove by facing Sting one-on-one, and Okerlund and the world just need to get over it - because it's NOT going to happen.

Match 3: The Miz vs. Sting
Tony Shaivone was excited to see these two go at it in what he called a huge match for Prime Time. The Miz and Sting went back and forth and it did feel like a big time match as the crowd was very much into it, especially when Sting was in control. Miz got a ton of heat after laying out Sting with a sucker punch after referee Nick Patrick had pulled Sting off of Miz in the corner. Miz took control, keeping Sting grounded and getting several nearfalls along the way. Sting ducked a discuss punch from The Miz and countered with a discus clothesline of his own. Both men were left lying on the mat as Nick Patrick began a ten count. Both men stumbled to their feet at around the 7 count mark and began exchanging punches. Sting got the upper hand and sent Miz into the ropes. Miz countered a backdrop with a flip into a roll up for a two count. Sting wouldn't let Miz retake control of the match, and after a pair of Stinger Splashes. Sting then ran from the corner and dropped Miz in the center of the ring with a bulldog. With Miz laid out, Sting locked in the Scorpion Deathlock. Miz tried to fight his way to the ropes, but Sting pulled him back to the center of the ring where Miz had no choice but to tap out from the pain.
WINNER - STING by submission

Sting took the microphoen after the match and promised us and Kurt Angle that he would not rest until Angle agreed to a match. He told Angle he couldn't hide from him forever - and he was going to do whatever it took to make the match happen.

The Miz recovered and since he was not happy with losing, he attacked Sting frmo behind. Miz laid out Sting with the Skull Crushing Finale, and then kept laying the boots to Sting untile Shawn Michaels ran from the back to make the save. Miz ran for cover before HBK hit the ring. Miz backed up the ramp, smirking over the damage he had done to Sting while Michaels threatened him from the ring before checking on Sting and helping him to his feet.

Match 4: Ahmed Johnson vs. Faarooq (w/Owen Hart)
These two powerhouses went two to two from the opening bell, but was met with less than stellar reaction from the fans who seemed to find the match quite boring. With an assist from Owen Hart, Faarooq took control of the match - but Ahmed Johnson fought his way back. In fact, it looked like Johnson was on his way to victory as he set up Faarooq for the Pearl River Plunge - but Owen Hart broke it up from behind. Referee Mickey Jay called for the bell as The Nation overpowered Ahmed Johnson and left him laying on the mat.
WINNER - AHMED JOHNSON by disqualification

The Nation were making their way to the back when Ahmed Johnson stumbled to his feet and asked for the microphone.

Ahmed Johnson said he was tired of all the double teams, the sneak attacks, and the sucker punches - he was going to find a way to even the odds. At Broken Bonds, he said he would find himself a tag partner someway and somehow - and that they would take on The Nation. The Nation seemed confident from the stage and had no problem accepting Ahmed Johnson's challenge.

Match 5: Evan Karagias (w/Shannon Moore & Shane Helms) vs. The Undertaker
Even with his 3-Count mates at ringside, this seemed like an uphill battle for Evan Karagias, who was outmatched in size and power. Karagias attempted to use his speed to his advantage, but everything he tried to hit Taker with did not phase the Phenom. Taker laid out Karagias with a sidewalk slam. Shannon Moore and Shane Helms slid into the ring and tried to help their partner out, but Undertaker grabbed them both by the throat and chokeslammed them both at the same time! They rolled out of the ring and Evan Karagias stumbled up into a Tombstone from Taker to get the three count.
WINNER - THE UNDERTAKER by pinfall

After the match, Randy Orton, Edge, and Kane made their way to the back as Undertaker was standing in victory over 3-Count. Edge was first to slid into the ring and went straight for Taker. Taker ducked a clothesline attempt from Edge and laid him out with a Big Boot! Edge rolled out of the ring as Orton came in and met Undertaker head on with right hands. Undertaker fired back with punches of his own, and was getting the upperhand on Orton until Kane attacked Undertaker from behind. Orton and Kane worked together to get the upperhand on Undertaker, until Edge recovered and joined in on the beating. Edge and Orton held up Taker, allowing Kane to grab his brother by the throat and deliver the Chokeslam! Rated RKO and Kane stood tall over Undertaker, leaving him lying in the ring. But once again, once they returned to the back - Undertaker sat up! It could be Hell to pay for Kane at Broken Bonds!

The Cat's Corner
Ernest Miller came out and greeted the crowd with insults before gracing us with his usual dance show before bringing out this week's guest - Giant Gonzales. Gonzales showed no emotion as he entered the ring. The Cat asked him what the weather was like up there, which got no respone what-so-ever from Gonzales. The Cat, trying to save the interview, asked Gonzales his thoughts on his opponent for Broken Bonds - DDP. Once again, Gonzales had nothing to say. The Cat gave a sarcastic "Well alrighty then, good talk." The Cat, growing frustrated with his interview not going well, told Gonzales that if he's going to be on his show - he was going to have to talk! The Cat proclaimed, "SOMEBODY CALL MY MAMA - I'M ABOUT TO WHOOP A 8 FOOT TALL FREAK!" But Cat didn't even get to attempt this, as he turned around right into a gigantic chop to the head from Gonzales. Gonzales picked Miller back up and locked in the CLAW.

Diamond Dallas Page ran from the back - this time coming prepared with chair in hand. He slid into the ring and cracked the chair across Gonzales' back. Gonzales seemed unharmed, dropping The Cat and turning around to receive another shot from the chair - this time to the head. Page drove the chair into Gonzales' midsection which managed to double the giant over allowing Page to crack the chair across Gonzales' back. But Gonzales no-sold this as well. He straightened himself back out and shoved the chair back into Page's own head. Gonzales grabbed Page by the throat and delivered the Chokeslam.

Gonzales left the ring with DDP laid out once again. He returned to the back to loud boos from the crowd.

MAIN EVENT: Hulk Hogan, Chris Jericho & Ultimate Warrior vs. Evolution
This big six man tag had the crowd on fire to end the show. The faces started out hot, taking out Triple H, Savage, and Razor Ramon early. Savage avoided finding himself in the ring with Hogan early, until Triple H had managed to slow Hogan down. Once Hogan was grounded, Savage gladly accepted the tag. Savage worked over his former friend with violent punches to the head, which Earl Hebner warned him about the closed fists. Savage brought HHH back in, but Hogan ducked their double clothesline attempt and leveled them each with a double clothesline of his own and tagged Jericho in. Jericho climbed to the top rope and nailed HHH right in the chest with a Missle Dropkick! Jericho made the cover, but Razor Ramon broke it up. Jericho's fast paced attack kept Triple H reeling, but HHH managed to make the tag to Savage who came in and overpowered Jericho. Once Jericho was grounded, Evolution took turns working over Jericho, keeping him from making the tag to his teammates. Razor Ramon locked in a sleeperhold to Jericho, and Jericho looked to be close to passing out, but he got out of it with a jawbreaker. Jericho was able to make the long crawl over and tag in the Ultimate Warrior - who rushed in and leveled Ramon with a big clothesline. HHH and Savage entered the ring but Warrior laid each one of them out as well. Warrior continued on the attack, lifting Razor Ramon up into the air and executing the Gorilla Press slam to Ramon! He went to attempt the running splash, but Triple H kneed Warrior in the back. Warrior fought back against Triple H and tossed him over the top rope. Ramon crawled to the corner and tagged in Savage. Savage entered the ring and looked to square off with Warrior, but Warrior looked and saw no one for Savage to tag...so Warrior tagged in Hogan!

Savage had no choice but to go toe to toe with Hogan...but he ducked a clothesline attempt from Hogan just as HHH returned to the apron. Savage tagged in HHH, successfully avoiding Hogan again. Triple H entered the ring and grappled with Hogan. Hogan locked in a headlock to Triple H, but HHH shoved Hogan off into the ropes. Hogan came back and decked HHH with a shoulder block. Hogan would continue on the offensive, body slamming HHH and calling for the Atomic Legdrop - which brought in Razor Ramon who attacked Hogan from behind. Savage joined in - but The Ultimate Warrior charged back into the ring and took out Savage and Ramon with a double clothesline. Ramon rolled out of the ring and Warrior tossed Savage over the top by his hair. Warrior lifted Triple H back up and dropped him with the Gorilla Press Slam. Hogan bounced off the ropes and hit the Atomic Legdrop to HHH! Hogan then pointed to Jericho and tagged him in. Jericho ran to the ropes and hit the Lionsault to Triple H and picked up the three count victory over the champion!
WINNERS - HOGAN, JERICHO, AND WARRIOR by pinfall

Ramon and Savage pulled Triple H out of the ring and helped him up the ramp as the faces ended the show in celebration. Would Broken Bonds end this way as well? According to Tony Shiavone, the only way to find out is to ORDER NOW!
