RWF PRESENTS: BROKEN BONDS We open up with a video montage highligthing last month's Pay-Per-View that saw Randy Savage turn on his long-time friend and partner, Hulk Hogan, to join Evolution and basically hand the RWF Championship to Triple H. The video highlights the past month with Hogan's battle with Evolution. Match 1: Ahmed Johnson & ??? vs. The Nation Ahmed Johnson made his way down to the ring first to open the show, drawing a mild reaction from the crowd. Johnson said it did not take him long to find someone willing to team up with him tonight to take on The Nation. He said this young kid is looking to make a name for himself in RWF and that he likes what this kid has to offer. Out came John Cena to a mixed reaction from the crowd as Cena continued his descent to facedom. The Nation made their way out next and the match was under way as Johnson started against Faarooq. Ahmed started out impressive against The Nation and brought in Cena to continue where he left off. Cena looked good at first, but found himself in the wrong corner which resulted in the Nation being able to isolate him from Ahmed. The Nation continued in control until Owen Hart went up top and went for a moonsault, but Cena rolled out of the way. It was a race to make the hot tag, and both men made the tag at the same time. Faarooq and Ahmed Johnson exchange right and lefts in the middle of the ring, until Johnson got the upper hand. Johnson took the advantage and set up Faarooq for the Pearl River Plunge, but Owen Hart broke it up. John Cena recovered and evened the odds. He lifted Owen Hart up and executed a spinout powerbomb to Hart! Ahmed Johnson picked up where he left off and finished Faarooq off with the Pearl River Plunge - picking up the three count victory for his team. WINNER - AHMED JOHNSON & JOHN CENA by pinfall A video recap of the Giant Gonzales debut to RWF and the destruction he has left each time out is shown prior to the next match as DDP tries to take on Giant Gonzales. Match 2: Diamond Dallas Page vs. Giant Gonzales DDP showed no fear as Giant Gonzales entered the right - he threw everything he had at the mammoth man. Punches, chops, more punches...clothesline...nothing even staggered the giant. Page gave Gonzales a kick to the midsection and went for the Diamond Cutter - but Gonzales just shoved Page off to the mat. Page rolled to his feet and Gonzales met Page with a chop to the head! Page fought his way back up again and again only to be sent right back down by Gonzales, who never made an attempt of a pinfall. As Gonzales domianted Page, Papa Shango walked from the back and watched, as Goldust followed behind him, completely expressionless. Shango watched as Gonzales had Page in the corner, choking the life out of him with his boot. Referee Mike Chioda made a five count and tried to break up the choke - but Gonzales shoved Chioda out of the way and continued choking Page. Mike Chioda called for the bell as he got back to his feet. Gonzales dropped Page from the corner and stared at Chioda, who ran for the hills. Gonzales picked Page back up and drilled him to the mat with the Chokeslam. WINNER - DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE by disqualification Papa Shango continued watching as Gonzales left Page lying in the middle of the ring once again. He nodded his head for reasons unknown to us before returning to the back with Goldust following right behind him. Gonzales returned to the back to boos from the crowd. In the back, The Sandman was with "Mean" Gene Okerlund - he talked about how nothing is going to change who he is - not his father, not the president of the United States, and certainly not CM Punk. He is always going to be a beer drinkin' SOB who likes to fight..and that's exactly what he is about to do. Match 3: CM Punk (w/Brian Pillman) vs. The Sandman Sandman acknowledge Pillman at ringside before the match even began, knowing he was going to have to fend off both of them if he wanted to win tonight. Punk immediately began working over Sandman's legs to keep the taller, stronger opponent from being able to use his power. However, Punk could not keep Sandman grounded for long. Sandman fought his way back and took control of the match. After laying out Punk with a brainbuster - Sandman rolled to ringside and grabbed a beer. Sandman decided he was going to give CM Punk a drink. Sandman popped the top and held it up in the air as he grabbed Punk by the hair. He pulled Punk's head back and poured the beer into Punk's face. Punk did his best to keep his mouth shut, not allowing any of the evil liquid in. Sandman took a swig himself as Pillman stormed the ring...but ran right into a mist of beer sprayed from Sandman's mouth. Sandman gave Pillman a kick to the midsection and laid him out with the DDT. Pillman rolled out of the ring, but this allowed Punk time to recover. A furious Punk rallied against Sandman out of pure rage. Punk took control and looked to finish Sandman off with the GTS, but Sandman escaped down Punk's back. Punk turned around into a boot to the midsection from Sandman...followed by the DDT! Sandman made the cover and got the three count! WINNER - THE SANDMAN by pinfall The Sandman celebrated his victory after the match by climbing into the crowd and sharing a beer with the fans around him as Brian Pillman tended to Punk in the ring. Match 4: La Parka & Doink the Clown vs. The Canadian Foundation vs. Patriotic Power RWF Tag Team Championships Match Lex Luger and Test started the match off which saw the champs looking good early - Luger and Patriot were working well as a team, keeping Test from breaking out any power moves with strength of their own. However as the match continued with each team getting some offense in - Doink the Clown soon found himself being double teamed behind referee Charles Robinson's back by the Foundation. Bret Hart locked in the Sharp Shooter to Doink, but The Patriot broke it up. As Robinson seperated Hart and the Patriot, Doink rolled out of the ring and the second Doink appeared from under the ring. Hart turned around and the new Doink springboarded into the ring and hit a dropkick to Hart. The revitalized Doink went to work on the stunned Bret Hart. A German Suplex was bridged for a two count. Hart slowed down Doink with a kick to the midsection and tagged in Test. Test unleashed a massive clothesline to Doink, putting the Canadian Foundation back firmly in control. Test would eventually go for a back suplex only to have Doink flip over and land on his feet. Doink dropped Test with a neckbreaker and tagged in La Parka! La Parka came in and danced over Test before laying the boots to him. La Parka whipped Test into the ropes where Lex Luger grabbed the blind tag. As La Parka laid out Test with a brainbuster, Luger revealed he was the legal man and went on the offensive to La Parka. The champions looked on their way to retainin as Luger went on to set up La Parka for the Torture Rack. As he lifted La Parka up, he was too close to the corner as Test slapped Luger on the back to tag himself in! Luger had La Parka submitting to the Torture Rack as Test entered the ring and hit THE BIG BOOT to Luger! Luger fell to the mat with La Parka. The Patriot ran into the ring, but referee Charles Robinson cut him off. Doink slid into the ring with a chair! Doink reared back to surprise Test with a chairshot, but Bret Hart pulled the chair away from behind. Hart laid out Doink with the chair, and then laid out the recovering La Parka as well. Test made the cover on La Parka as Hart left the ring and Charles Robinson turned back around. ONE - TWO - THREE...Patriot was a split second too late making the save! The Canadian Foundation have won the tag titles! WINNERS AND NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - THE CANADIAN FOUNDATION by pinfall Bret Hart and Test immediately left the ring with their newly won tag titles as Patriot helped Luger to his feet. They could only watch as the heels celebrated their victory from the stage. Backstage, The Miz was with Mean Gene to discuss the next match of the evening. Miz once again proclaimed himself to be the true SHOW STOPPA of RWF and that all the fans came tonight to see him defeat Shawn Michaels and put him in his place once and for all. Match 5: The Miz vs. Shawn Michaels After two months of jaw jacking, it was time for these two to go one-on-one and see if they could put any of their issues to rest. From the opening bell they went back and forth with the crowd solidly behind HBK. Miz's problem continued to be that every time he got the upperhand on HBK and had him down on the mat, the crowd would get under his skin and cause him to lose focus. His arguing with the crowd would give HBK numberous opportunites to battle back. After a flying foream, HBK kipped up and began warming up the band for some Sweet Chin Music. The Miz must have heard the foot stomping, as shoved referee Nick Patrick in the way - but HBK was able to stop his leg in time to not connect with the referee. The Miz took advantage however and landed a discus punch to HBK. Miz went on to get a few nearfalls, but HBK kept kicking out. After HBk kicked out of his sitout shoulder jawbreaker, Miz began to grow very frustrated. He slammed the mat in frustration and got in Nick Patrick's face. When Miz turned around, he was met by knife edge chops from HBK. After an atomic drop, HBK laid out Miz with a belly to back suplex. HBK climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit a flying elbowdrop to Miz! HBK rolled to his feet slowly and once again began warming up the band as Miz slowly stumbled to his feet. Miz turned around right into Sweet Chin Music! Shawn Michaels made the cover and picked up the victory. WINNER - SHAWN MICHAELS by pinfall Shawn Michaels celebrated in the ring with some crotch chops and pyro. A video package highlighting the fued between The Undertaker and Rated RKO that began with Randy Orton's defeat of The Undertaker on the very first episode of RWF Prime Time with help from Edge. The package then focuses on Rated RKO's new alliance with Taker's brother Kane, whom the Undertaker will do battle with tonight. Match 6: Kane vs. The Undertaker The Undertaker truly had the deck stacked against him as he went two-to-two with his brother - as Randy Orton was also joining them in the ring as the referee while Edge sat right next to the announce booth at ringside as the time keeper. The Undertaker and Kane went nose-to-nose to start the match and immediately began exchanging blows. As expected, everytime The Undertaker got any sort of advantage, Edge or Orton would make their presence known. Orton straight up refused to make any sort of counts when Undertaker made a pinfall - and was making lightning fast counts for Kane. It was becoming clear that this might not be a winnable match for Taker unless he evened the score. After getting tossed to ringside, The Undertaker was slowly getting to his feet when Edge ran in and landed a boot to Taker's ribs. Edge grabbed his time keeper's chair and swung it at Taker, but Taker ducked! Taker grabbed Edge by the throat...and CHOKSLAMMED HIM THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Orton was livid in the ring as Kane stepped out of the ring and attacked his brother from behind. Kane sent Taker back into the ring. Kane picked up the chair and brought into the ring with him. Kane slammed the chair down into Undertaker's back as he was trying to get back to his feet. Kane would left his brother high into the air and drop him back to the mat with a big vertical suplex. Kane went for the pin...a quick two count was all Kane got. Kane continued in control, and finally set up Undertaker for the Tombstone. Kane walked around the ring with his brother in position...but suddenly Taker's feet connected with Kane's head. Kane staggered and Undertaker reversed the Tombstone position into a position where he now had Kane in position! Undertaker dropped Kane on his head in the center of the ring with the Tombstone! Undertaker crossed his brother's arms across his chest and to make the cover - but Orton was busy reading the latest RWF magazine. Undertaker stood up and picked the chair up off the mat. Orton, becoming alarmed, dropped the magazine and threatened to disqualify the Undertaker if he used the chair. Undertaker lifted it up and prepared to land a chairshot to his fallen brother, but Orton stressed that he would do it. Undertaker turned his attention to Orton...and laid out Orton with the chairshot! Undertaker picked Orton back up by the throat, and set up Orton...DELIVERING A TOMBSTONE TO ORTON! Kane sat up all of a sudden, but Undertaker scooped him back up and delivered a SECOND tombstone to his brother. Referee Earl Hebner ran from the back and slid into the ring. Undertaker crossed Kane's arms for the pin which Hebner counted, giving the victory to The Undertaker! WINNER - THE UNDERTAKER by pinfall The lights dimmed after the match as Undertaker kneeled down as the fans cheered loudly for his victory. Undertaker left the ring as Rated RKO began to pull themselves away from the carnage left by The Undertaker. Backstage, Chris Jericho was with Mean Gene to discuss the upcoming match with Triple H for the RWF Championship. Jericho said there was no denying this was the biggest match of his short career...and he had a lot to prove out there tonight. But that he knows Triple H is taking him lightly, and he promises that Triple H will regret that when the Walls come crashing down on him tonight. Match 7: Chris Jericho vs. Triple H RWF Championship Match It became clear early on that Triple H didn't think much of his opponent and perhaps did not put much thought into the match, as Jericho seemed to really take HHH off guard. Jericho was pulling out all the stops to try and pick up a quick victory over Triple H, but unfortunately it would not be that easy for the youngster. Jericho laid out the champ with a bulldog and went for the Lionsault, but HHH got his knees up which put a quick hault to "Lionheart" Chris Jericho's early barrage of offense. Triple H went on the offensive, taking advantage of the momentum he had created. Triple H slowly and methodically seemed to be picking apart Jericho. However, Jericho refused to give in and continued to kick out of everything HHH threw at him. It looked like things might be over for the challenger as Triple H set him up for The Pedigree...but Jericho showed he still had some life in him. He pulled HHH's legs out from under him and turned him over into the Liontamer! Referee Mike Chioda checked in on Triple H, who yelled a loud "NO" to his inquiries of submission. Triple H used all the muscle he had to lift himself up onto his arms and crawl to the ropes. Triple H grabbed the bottom rope which forced Jericho to release the submission. Jericho did not let this slow him down, as he went back on the attack. A double underhook led to a backbreaker and another nearfall for Jericho. Jericho looked to take the risk factor up a notch as he sent HHH into the corner and sat him on the top turnbuckle. The fans all rose to their feet as Jericho climbed up with HHH to the top rope. He set HHH up for a hurricanrana, but HHH showed his strength and power as he held on to Jericho...and POWERBOMBED Jericho off the top rope! Triple H stumbled to his feet as Jericho was VERY slow to pull himself up. Jericho stumbled right over to HHH who gave him a kick to the midsection and laid out Jericho with the Pedigree! Triple H rolled Jericho onto his back, hooked his leg and got the three count victory to retain. WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION - TRIPLE H by pinfall Triple H snatched the RWF Championship from Mike Chioda and threw the belt in the air to huge boos from the crowd as he celebrated his victory. As Triple H continued to celebrate, a promo for RWF PRESENTS: TRIPLE JEOPARDY, next month's Pay-Per-View aired. Finally we got one last video package to hype up tonight's main event. The package at first focuses on The Mega-Powers in RWF, and Randy Savage's beatings at the hands of The All-American Americans and then at Coronation when Savage was mysteriously beaten and unable to team with Sting. Later in the night, Savage revealed himself as the third member of Evolution as he turned his back on his friend Hulk Hogan, costing Hogan the RWF Championship in the process. Tonight, Hogan gets his chance for redemption. MAIN EVENT: Randy Savage vs. Hulk Hogan If Hogan wins, he receives an RWF Title shot The two men exchange trash talk before the opening bell, before they go nose to nose as the bell rings. Hogan struck first, connecting with several rights and lefts to Savage. Hogan was pulling out all the stops, perhaps showing his anger towards Savage. Hogan, feeling confident about finally getting his hands on Savage, was in the driver's seat early as he beat his former friend from one side of the ring to the other. Some underhanded tricks allowed Savage to fight his way back into the match. The match spilled to ringside where Savage took control, using ringside itself as a weapon. Hogan was sent crashing into the guard rail, the ring post, and even the ring steps as Savage tried to dish out as much punishment as possible to the Immortal One and keep him from gaining a title shot at Triple H's belt. Savage went as far as wrapping a camera cable around Hogan's throat and proceeded to choke him until Earl Hebner broke it up with threats of disqualification. The match finally found it's way back to the ring. Savage beat Hogan down into the corner - blood now starting to come from Hogan's forehead. Savage pulled Hogan to the center of the ring and set him up a for a piledriver...but Hogan countered with a backdrop! Hogan began to show signs of HULKING UP as the fans cheers went through the roof. Savage tried to fight back, but Hogan was having NONE of that. Hogan laid into Savage and tossed him into the corner. Hogan slammed Savage head first into the turnbuckles repeatedly as the fans counted along. Hogan walked out of the corner and posed for the crowd before Savage stumbled into him into a bodyslam that laid out Savage in the center of the ring. Hogan was calling for the ATOMIC LEGDROP...when Triple H and Razor Ramon both ran down to ringside. Razor Ramon jumped onto the apron first, but Hogan knocked him right back off with a right hand. Triple H climbed onto the apron slowly, and exchanged words with Hogan as Earl Hebner inserted himself in the middle. Hogan turned around and Savage nailed Hogan with a clothesline! Savage put the boots to Hogan furiously. Savage lifted Hogan up into a vertical suplex, walked around the ring with Hogan displaying his strength, before dropping Hogan to the mat. Savage took his time, showboating to the booing audience before climbing to the top turnbuckle. Savage signaled for the Flying Elbow, but once again took his sweet time doing so. Savage leaped off the top rope, but Hogan rolled out of the way! Both men were slow to their feet, but as they both got their at about the same time, Hogan was finding his third wind. Hogan blocked Savage's punches and fired back with ones of his own. Hogan sent Savage into the ropes with an Irish Whip and laid out Savage with the Big Boot. Hogan posed for the crowd once again, getting them fired up as he bounced off the ropes and delivered the Atomic Legdrop to Savage! Razor Ramon once again jumped onto the apron, getting Earl Hebner's attention. Triple H slid into the ring and leveled Hogan with a shot from the RWF Belt! Triple H picked Hogan back up and delivered THE PEDIGREE! Triple H rolled out of the ring as Ramon conveniantly gave in to Hebner's demand. Hebner turned around to find Hogan and Savage both down. Savage crawled to the ropes where he once again ascended to the top turnbuckle. Savage flew off the top rope again, this time connecting with the Flying Elbow Drop to Hogan. Savage was able to roll back over and make the cover as the crowd booed loudly. ONE - TWO- THREE! WINNER - RANDY SAVAGE by pinfall Triple H and Razor Ramon entered the ring as the match ended, and helped Savage back up to his feet. Triple H posed with one foot across Hogan's chest, lifting the RWF Championship in the air to huge boos from the crowd as the PPV came to a close. |

RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.11 A highlight package from RWF Presents: Broken Bonds kicked the show off - culminating in the footage of Evolution reigning supreme at the end of the night over Hulk Hogan. Coming off the opening, Vince Russo was the first sight we saw as he made his way down to the ring. Russo said that with Hogan's loss to Savage comes an opening for a number one contender to face Triple H at the company's next pay-per-view, Triple Jeopardy. He said there were numerous people who qualified to be a contender, but that it was going to be tough to narrow down just who it should be... Before Russo could go any further, Triple H led Randy Savage and Razor Ramon down to the ring - apparently wanting some input on who he has to face at the PPV. Triple H took the microphone and declared Randy Savage the obvious numbe one contender to the championship because he defeated Hogan. He said it only made sense for Russo to give Savage the title shot that Hogan would have won if he had been victorious. "Medal" hit the PA system and out came Kurt Angle, receiving lots of heat from the crowd. Angle climbed into the ring along with Evolution and made his intentions known - HE wanted the title shot that he never truly got a fair shot at. Angle said he has beaten Hogan and Savage enough times that he deserves a title shot before either one of them. BREAK IT DOWN! Shawn Michaels joined in on the fun, walking out onto the stage. Michaels said that as long as people were throwing their names into the hat - he wanted consideration. He was screwed out of the World Championship tournament by The Miz - but now that he's finished with him and shown that there can be only ONE SHOW STOPPA in the RWF - he's ready to take that belt from around HHH's waist. Vince Russo interjected and wanted to thank them all for their input, but he had actually already made a decision. Given that the next PPV is called Triple Jeopardy, the RWF World Championship will be decided in a...TRIPLE THREAT MATCH. Triple H seemed unhappy, but suggested that maybe Randy Savage and Razor Ramon should be his challengers. Russo said that he doesn't know who the challengers will be yet....but we will ALL know by the end of the night. Because there will be TWO matches to determine the two challengers. And each of those matches will be, that's right, TRIPLE THREAT matches. In the first match, we will see THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR.....STING....and yes, KURT ANGLE fighting for a spot in the RWF Title match at Triple Jeopardy. And in the second match....RANDY SAVAGE will indeed get his opportunity, but he will also be taking on...SHAWN MICHAELS.....and, because he feels this man was royally screwed at Broken Bonds, the third man will be HULK HOGAN! The crowd went wild, but so did Triple H in a completely different way. Angle argued with Russo as well, clearly unhappy about having to qualify and be in the ring with Sting. HBK seemed satisfied as he made his way to the back. A Canadian Bond Chris Jericho made his way out to the ring to defend the United States Championship for the first time. His challenger tonight would be one-half of the RWF Tag Champions, the Canadian Foundation, Test. Bret Hart accompanied his partner to the ring, and before the match they entered the ring and took the microphone. Bret Hart wanted to give Chris Jericho a once in a lifetime opportunity. It's no secret that Chris Jericho shares the Canadian nationality with the Foundation - and Bret Hart can tell Jericho is a rising star. He wants Jericho to join the Foundation, hand the title over to Test, and allow them to mentor him to be a much BIGGER star. Jericho rubbed his chin, as if to suggest he was thinking the offer over...but he answered with a standing dropkick to Bret Hart. Hart rolled out of the ring and Test attacked Jericho to start the match. Match 1: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Test United States Championship Match Though Test attacked Jericho from behind to start the match, Jericho's quickness got the upperhand on Test right away. Jericho struck at Test's legs to try and take the big man off his feet. Jericho picked up a few quick nearfalls early before Test started to muscle his way into the match. Test overpowered Jericho and took away his speed advantage by just muscling him to the mat. Hart kept coaching from ring side, providing instruction to Test in the ring. Test locked in a viscious bear hug to Jericho and looked to knock Jericho out of the match with the submission..but as referee Nick Patrick checked in on Jericho, his arm stayed raised on the third check. Jericho escaped with a few earringers to Test and then came off the ropes with a bulldog to lay out Test. Jericho connected with the Lionsault to Test, but only got a two count. Jericho's comeback was momentary as Test caught Jericho off the ropes with a tilt-a-whirl slam, but only picked up a two count. Test looked to finish Jericho off with his pump-handle slam, but Jericho escaped and executed a German Suplex to Test! Jericho was unable to keep the bridge to make the cover. Jericho climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Bret Hart climbed onto the apron to try to interfere. Jericho met Hart with a kick to the head and sent Hart off the apron back to the floor. Hart turned around and Jericho came off the top rope with a plancha onto Hart! Both men were down on the ground at ringside. Test rolled out of the ring and picked Jericho up, sending him back into the ring. Test made the cover but Jericho kicked out. Test picked Jericho back up and sent him into the ropes looking for The Big Boot. Jericho slid underneath Test's legs. Test turned around into a standing enziguri from Jericho! Test was laid out and Jericho grabbed him by the legs and turned him over into the Liontamer! Nick Patrick checked in on Test, and he tapped out from the submission! WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION - CHRIS JERICHO by submission Chris Jericho celebrated his victory post-match, but the victory was short-lived as out of nowhere CM Punk and Brian Pillman slid into the ring and attacked Jericho from behind. They laid the boots to Jericho before picking him back up and allowing CM Punk to execute the GTS to Jericho! CM Punk threw his arms up in celebration to laying out the US Champion as the show went to commercials. A Straight Edge Champion Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund had caught up with CM Punk after his attack on Chris Jericho. Punk bashed Jericho, calling him an undeserving champion. He said he is doing RWF a favor by going after Jericho and promising to take the United States Title from him and bring some value to the title. Value it definitely needs. Punk took credit for running The Sandman out of RWF and said that if Jericho didn't want to have the same thing happen to him, he better watch his back...because it's only a matter of time before the United States Championship becomes STRAIGHT EDGE. Match 2: Rob Van Dam vs. The Giant Gonzales Rob Van Dam had to go up against the man who has left destruction in his path since he arrived on the scene. RVD's fancy footwork was not phasing the giant whatsoever. It was more of an annoyance to Gonzales more than anything else - kind of like a gnat. Gonzales laid out RVD with a giant chop to the cranium as Papa Shango walked out from the back with Goldust following behind him. Shango carried his miniature skull down to the ring with him as Gonzales continued to dominate RVD. Like in his other matches to this point, Gonzales showed no interest in making a pin - and continued to unleash punishment to his opponent. As RVD struggle on the mat, Gonzales slowly walked in circles around the fallen RVD. Shango gave instructions to Goldust, who slid into the ring and suddenly began attacking RVD on the mat! Referee Mike Chioda called for the bell as a furious Gonzales grabbed Goldust by the head and locked on THE CLAW! Shango slowly climbed into the ring and broke up the Claw by blowing smoke into Gonzales' face. Gonzales released the hold and stood there, as if in a trance. Shango spoke to Gonzales into tongues as he revealed a figurine of The Giant Gonzales from his jacket. Gonzales' face became emotionless as Shango left the ring. Gonzales and Goldust both followed Shango from the ring. WINNER - ROB VAN DAM by disqualification Sting's Time To Shine Gene Okerlund caught up to Sting as he made his way out for the first triple threat match of the evening. Sting was excited at the opportunity to not only wrestle for a shot at the RWF Championship - but to get another chance to be in the ring with Kurt Angle. Sting said it was driving him crazy that Angle manages to keep sneaking around and getting cheap victories while avoiding facing him directly. Well tonight, there would be nothing stopping Sting from getting his hands on Angle...it's SHOWTIME! Match 3: Sting vs. Kurt Angle vs. The Ultimate Warrior From the opening bell, Sting had his sights set on Angle, who immediately ducked to ringside. Sting gave chase, but Angle ran around the ring and slid back into the ring only to run into a clothesline from the Ultimate Warrior. Warrior and Sting took turns wailing on Angle before Angle fell out of the ring. Sting and Warrior finally put Angle aside and focused on each other, locking up and doing battle. It was a real battle of two very high energy workers, and it was the Warrior who got the upperhand. As Sting was down, Angle slid into the ring and clipped Warrior's knees from behind. Warrior dropped to the mat and Angle went to work on Warrior's ankle to not only set him up for a possible ankle lock, but to also try and slow down the high energized powerhouse. Sting got to his feet and broke up Angle's offense on Warrior by taking the upperhand on Angle. Sting was in control until he set up Angle for a Stinger Splash, but Angle moved out of the way! Sting connected with the turnbuckles and stumbled backwards into a release German Suplex from Angle. Angle tried to continue on the offensive, but Warrior put a stop to that. Angle tried to fight back against Warrior, but Warrior no-sold Angle's offense and leveled Angle with a running clothesline. Angle rolled out of the ring and it became Warrior vs. Sting once again. Sting was back to his feet and the two exchanged right hands as the crowd cheered them both on. Both were feeding off the crowd, being unphased by the other's punches. Sting suddenly road a wave of momentum that gave him the advantage. He hit one Stinger Splash to Warrior and whipped him into the opposite corner and hit the second. But after the second, Warrior let out a loud war scream and charged out of the corner with a leaping shoulderblock! Sting stumbled back to his feet and walked into Warrior who lifted him up and bench pressed him in a gorilla press before dropping him to the mat. Warrior bounced off the ropes and hit his Big Splash to Sting! Before he could make the pin, Angle slid into the ring and attacked Warrior from behind and tossed him to ringside! Warrior tried to recover, but Angle made the quick cover to the fallen Sting and picked up the three count! Angle immediately darted from the ring Warrior slid back in. WINNER - KURT ANGLE by pinfall Kurt Angle one-ups Sting once again and takes the first spot in the RWF Championship match at Triple Jeopardy. Hulk-A-Mania Running Wild In the back, Gene Okerlund had caught up with Hulk Hogan who apparently had just arrived at the arena. Okerlund wanted to get Hogan's thoughts on what happened at Broken Bonds and his match tonight. Hogan said that simply put, that what goes around comes around...and that no matter how hard Triple H and Evolution try to keep him down and keep Hulkamania from winning the RWF Championship - if it's meant to be...it's meant to be...which is exactly why Hogan gets another opportunity tonight. And he promises to all the little Hulkamaniacs out there, that Hogan would be victorious tonight and go on to Triple Jeopardy and win the RWF Championship there! Cause watcha gonna do Evolution, when there's nowhere left to run..and Hulkamania RUNS WILD ON YOU! Match 4: Tons of Pain vs. Patriotic Power Luger and Patriot were fresh off their title loss at Broken Bonds, and were looking to make a statement that they weren't going anywhere in the tag title scene. And what better way to make a statement than by taking on the huge team of Vader and Yokozuna. It's rare that Luger is actually overpowered, but here Vader and Yokozuna used their weight advantage to keep the bodybuilding powerhouse down. When Luger got to tag in the Patriot - Patriot got in limited offense against Vader before the mammoth of a man overpowered him as well. It was Luger who found himself back in the ring with Vader as he went for the Vader Bomb, but Luger rolled out of the way! The bigger they are, the harder they fall was never more true than it was then as Vader was definitely hurt by the miss. Vader stumbled to his feet and Luger rocked him with a few running forearms. Vader was staggering as Luger picked him up into the Torture Rack! Yokozuna came in to break it up, but The Patriot charged in and held off Yokozuna with a big clothesline of his own. Vader signaled for submission as Luger cranked up the pressure of the rack. WINNERS - PATRIOTIC POWER by submission Rematch Made After the match, Lex Luger took the microphone and congratulated The Canadian Foundation for their victory and the tag titles...but as the former champions, they are actually due a rematch! And they have already met with Russo...and the rematch will take place NEXT WEEK on Prime Time! Luger tossed the microphone down as the fans cheered for that announcement. Match 6: John Cena vs. Owen Hart (w/Faarooq) Apparently John Cena did not make any friends with his decision to team with Ahmed Johnson at Broken Bonds. They were victorious, but could Cena carry it over into a one-on-one match with Owen? Cena looked strong early, showing that technically he could hang with the more experienced Owen...but the veteran showed that it isn't always about being technically sound as he raked Cena's eyes to slow him down. Hart then started to put on a clinic of his own, keeping Cena down on the mat. But Cena fought his way right back into the match and actually looked to try and put Owen away with the FU, but Faarooq jumped onto the apron! Cena dropped Owen and confronted Faarooq. This gave Owen enough time to recover, as Faarooq seemed to suddenly be happy with getting off the apron. Cena turned around and was startled by a boot to the midsection. Owen Hart finished Cena off with his Reverse Piledriver to get the three count. WINNER - OWEN HART by pinfall Under The Miz's Wing Backstage, Chris Kanyon was looking depressed as moped in the locker room. The Miz entered the locker room and told Kanyon he was an embarrassment of a wrestler. Miz explained to Kanyon if he wanted to be in Evolution so badly, he was going to really have to make a statement. Kanyon said he had tried everything, but he's just a failure. Miz told Kanyon that only failures think that way..if he wants to be a winner, he's going to have to act like a winner. Miz explained that if anyone know's winning, it's him..and he'd be glad to take Kanyon under his wing and help him impress Evolution. Kanyon didn't understand why the Miz would want to help him, he didn't understand what Miz had to gain from it. Miz just said that he can't stand seeing someone embarass themself so much...and that he's always looking for a challenge. And this has to be considered a HUGE challenge. Kanyon accepted Miz's guidance and Miz said they would have to get to work immediately, because there was a lot to be done. MAIN EVENT: Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage vs. Shawn Michaels Hogan wasted no time going after Savage, not even waiting for Shawn Michaels' entrance. So by the time HBK made it to the ring, the match was well under way with Hogan working over Savage in the corner. Michaels had no objections to sitting back in the corner and being a spectator as Hogan laid into Savage. After laying out Savage on the mat, Hogan noticed HBK nonchalantly leaning against the ropes as the match continued. Hogan turned his attention to HBK, who came out and locked up with Hogan. Hogan came out of the lock up with a headlock onto HBK...but Savage recovered and broke it up, attacking Hogan with an axehandle to the back. Savage laid into Hogan's back again and tossed him into the corner before Shawn Michaels turned his attention to Savage. HBK worked over Savage until Savage scored a low blow to HBK and laid him out. Hogan came over but Savage met him with a right hand and seemed to have the match in his control now as Savage would eventually have HBK and Hogan both laid out after hitting a double DDT. Savage went back to work on Hogan, but when he looked to have Hogan put away - HBK broke up his pin at two and a half. HBK landed a flurry of punches to Savage to send Savage staggering as HBK bounced off the ropes and connected with a flying forearm. HBK took control, laying out Savage with a back suplex before locking in a sleeper hold to Hogan. It looked like Hogan might be heading to dreamland, but suddenly Hogan began to HULK UP out of the sleeper! Hogan back elbowed his way out of the hold and laid out HBK with a clothesline. Savage got to his feet and ate a clothesline of his own! Hogan focused solely on Savage, working him over and eventually laying him out with The Big Boot! Hogan bounced off the ropes looking for the Atomic Legdrop...but Shawn Michaels broke that up out of nowhere, hitting the Sweet Chin Music to Hogan! That seemed to take the last burst of energy HBK had, as he dropped back to the mat - leaving all three lying. HBK slowly crawled to the corner, being the first to show any signs of life. HBK climbed to the top turnbuckle and looked to be going for a flying elbow, but Savage recovered quickly and shoved HBK off the top turnbuckle to ringside! HBK crashed to the floor hard. Savage ascended to the top rope himself, and came flying off the top rope with his Flying Elbowdrop, but Hogan rolled out of the way! Both men were down in the ring and HBK was showing no signs of recovering at ringside. Slowly Hogan rallied to his feet with the crowd cheering him on. Savage began to recover at the same time, and walked right into a big bodyslam from Hogan. Hogan wasted no time bouncing off the ropes and connecting with the Atomic Legdrop! Hogan hooked Savage's leg and got the three count victory! WINNER - HULK HOGAN by pinfall "Real American" played through the speakers as referee Earl Hebner lifted Hogan's arm up in victory. In the back, Triple H was beside himself as he realized he will have to defend his title against Hogan at Triple Jeopardy. Back in the ring, Hogan continued to celebrate his victory. With that, the main event for Triple Jeopardy was set as Triple H will defend his RWF Championship against Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan! |

RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.12 A recap of last week's two triple threat matches to determine the number one contenders to the RWF title kicked the show off. After the standard intro - Evolution made their way down to the ring led by Triple H, who had the RWF Championship around his shoulder. The trio entered the ring to loud boos from the crowd. Razor Ramon took the microphone and took a poll of the audience to see who came to see Evolution, and who came to see Hulk Hogan...the fans clearly chose Hulk Hogan, but it was still "one more for the good guys." Randy Savage next took the microphone and said that Hulk Hogan got "real lucky" last week to be able to win the match to get a title shot - but his luck will end there. But who he really wanted to talk about was Shawn Michaels. Savage claimed that Michaels' just couldn't keep his nose out of his own business and had to go getting in Evolution's way. Savage promised HBK that he made a BIG mistake and that tonight Savage would make him truly regret it. Triple H was next to take the microphone, turning his attention to his opponents at Triple Jeopardy. Triple H had kind words to say about Kurt Angle, calling him a true athlete and a REAL American hero...unlike Hulk Hogan who is nothing more than an "American Zero" who has to rely on flexing his "enhanced" muscles to get by. Triple H makes steriod suggestions while never mentioning the word steriod by asking what kind of "vitamins" Hogan was truly taking. Triple H finished off the promo by promising Triple Jeopardy would be another landslide victory for Evolution. Match 1: Patriotic Power vs. The Canadian Foundation (c) RWF Tag Team Championship Match The first match of the night was a championship match as Patriotic Power looked to regain the titles they lost at Broken Bonds. The faces looked good early on into the match, but Test and Bret Hart showed that they worked well together as a team, taking control of the match - specifically targeting the Patriot and working him over in their corner - preventing him from making the tag to Luger. It looked like the Patriot was fighting his way back into the match as he laid out Hart with a backdrop...but as he made the crawl to the corner to tag in Luger - Test entered the ring which got the attention of referee Nick Patrick. Patriot made the tag to Luger with the ref's back turned...Luger charged in and was getting ready to set up Hart for the Torture Rack, but Nick Patrick put a stop to it. Since he did not see the tag, he warned Luger he needed to get back to the corner. As Luger argued, Test entered the ring and laid out The Patriot with one of the tag belts! Bret Hart took advantage and made the cover. Nick Patrick turned around to see the pin and made the count as Test held off Luger from making the save! WINNERS AND STILL TAG CHAMPIONS - The Canadian Foundation by pinfall Post match, Test and Bret Hart immediately left the ring as Luger was fuming inside the ring. Luger continued to argue with Nick Patrick as the champions celebrated on the stage. Match 2: Papa Shango (w/Goldust & Giant Gonzales) vs. Rob Van Dam After weeks of stalking and apparently putting Goldust and Gonzales under his spell, Shango was ready to step into the ring for singles competition. RVD was on the receiving end of the Giant Gonazles' beatdown last week, but with Shango being more RVD's size, the playing field was evened. Atleast inside the ring. Shango managed to overpower the speedy RVD, but RVD kept fighting back. RVD laid out Shango with a jumping side kick before he gave the R-V-D point before climbing to the top turnbuckle. Goldust climbed on the apron, distracting referee Mike Chioda. Giant Gonzales climbed the apron, grabbing RVD and choke slamming him off the turnbuckle to the mat! Gonzales climbed back down as Goldust also went back to the floor. Shango recovers and picks up RVD only to lay him back out with the Voodoo Driver. Shango made the cover and picked up the three count victory. WINNER - PAPA SHANGO by pinfall The Cat's Corner Ernest "The Cat" Miller returned this week to bring out his special guest, Olympic Gold Medalist and possible next RWF Champion - Kurt Angle! Angle came out to boos from the crowd. The Cat congratulated Angle on his title shot, but immediately turned the interview torwards Sting. Angle said last week SHOULD have put any questions to bed because he pinned Sting right in the middle of the ring fair and square. He does not understand how anyone can accuse him of ducking Sting anymore after definitively beating him last week. But yet people still stop him on the street and ask why he won't give Sting a one-on-one match. But that all ends TONIGHT! The crowd cheered as it seemed like Angle was going to finally give Sting the match he wanted. The Cat wanted to clarify, was Angle calling Sting out for a match tonight. Angle verified that yes, he is calling Sting to the ring RIGHT NOW for a match! Sting wasted no time getting to the ring once he heard what Angle had to say. Ernest Miller plugged his own interview segment, claiming HIS show is the reason we are about to witness Angle vs. Sting. He then left as Sting entered the ring. Referee Charles Robinson had started to come down to the ring, but before he could even get to the ring - Jack Swagger rushed from the crowd and attacked Sting from behind! Angle joined in on the attack and the two beat Sting down to the mat. The crowd booed heavily as Swagger laid out Sting with the Red, White and Blue Thunder Bomb. Angle placed a boot across Sting's chest and Swagger made the phony three count. "Medal" played as Swagger lifted up Angle's arm in "victory" as the show headed to commercials. Jericho Responds Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was standing by with United States Champion, Chris Jericho. Okerlund wanted to get Jericho's thoughts on CM Punk's attacks last week on Prime Time. Jericho said that he's seen what Punk has done so far in RWF and it really doesn't shock him for Punk to pull an underhanded move like that. But if Punk wanted a title shot, all he had to do was make the challenge. Jericho promised that as long as he was champion, he wouldn't back down from a challenge...and if Punk and his Pepsi Tattoo want a title shot...he's game. In fact, he's free the Sunday of Triple Jeopardy. Match 3: Ahmed Johnson vs. CM Punk (w/Brian Pillman) CM Punk, looking to prove himself after his attack on Jericho last week, found himself certainly overpowered by Ahmed Johnson in the early goings if this match up. But Punk used his brains to his advantage and took shots at Ahmed's knees at every opportunity to slow the powerhouse down. But when Ahmed started to power his way back into the match, Pillman jumped onto the apron...only to have Johnson knock him back down. Johnson went back to Punk, and began to pull him off the mat to set him up for the Pearl River Plunge, only to have Punk sneak in a jawbreaker to Johnson. Johnson was left staggering and Punk displayed some strength of his own as he lifted up Johnson across his shoulders into a fireman's carry and dropped him with the GTS! Punk made the cover and picked up the victory. WINNER - CM PUNK by pinfall Lesson 1 - Learn from the Best In a pre-recorded segment, The Miz was with his new "pupil" - Chris Kanyon. Miz explained to Kanyon that Evolution would only accept him if he was one of the BEST. So Kanyon will need to learn to be the BEST from the BEST. And The Miz is THE BEST. So some of the most important things Kanyon can learn are from actually watching The Miz wrestle...so tonight, when he's out there, he wants Kanyon watching closely and taking notes...because if Kanyon were The Miz, he'd have no problems getting Triple H to accept him into Evolution. Match 4: La Parka vs. The Miz (w/Chris Kanyon) Sure enough, Chris Kanyon brought his own desk to ringside along with a pad of paper and a pen and scribbled notes as The Miz took on La Parka. Unfortunately for the skulled warrior, La Parka didn't get much offense in against The Miz. Miz kept on the attack against La Parka, taking time out from his beating to yell things like "HIGHLIGHT THIS" and "HERE'S A BULLET POINT FOR YA" before hitting another offensive move to his opponent. The Miz finished La Parka off with the Skull Crushing Finale to pick up the easy victory. WINNER - THE MIZ by pinfall After the match, The Miz got on the microphone and continued his lesson to Kanyon. He told him that nothing impresses people more than domination. And complete embarassment is even better...so, and pay close attention because this WILL be on the final exam, ALWAYS kick a man when he's down! The Miz then proceeded to stomp a mudhole into the already beaten La Parka. After feeling he had done enough damage to La Parka, Miz declared that "this completes Lesson One." A Big Red Scapegoat Edge and Randy Orton made their way down to the ring to boos from the crowd. They said what happened at Broken Bonds was a travesty and completely illegal. Undertaker struck TWO RWF "officials" and got away with it. They didn't understand why Vince Russo didn't take action and suspend Undertaker for such a henious attack. But they were willing to overlooked all that because in the end, it was Kane who failed them. They were very disappointed in Kane for not taking care of business. They wanted to talk to Kane directly, so they asked the Big Red Machine to join them in the ring. After a brief wait, "Brimestone" hit the PA system and Kane slowly made his way to the ring. Kane climbed into the ring as Edge climbed out of the ring. Orton immediately got in his face, wanting to know why Kane was such a failure. Why wasn't he able to put his brother away for GOOD? Did he not want to destroy his brother as much as he claimed to? Kane just stood there as Orton yelled in his face (well, mask). Orton called Kane a disgrace before Kane finally seemed to snap and grab Orton by the throat. Edge returned to the ring with chair in hand and cracked the chair across Kane's back to break it up. Kane turned around and Edge nailed another chairshot across Kane's head. Kane was left staggering and Orton leaped up and hit him with the RKO! Edge continued to drive the chair down into Kane's midsection even as he lied on the mat. Vince Russo broke up the assault as he walked out from the back with a microphone. He told Orton and Edge that if he wanted him to do something about The Undertaker's actions, he would certainly do something. He would make a match...a match for Triple Jeopardy. And that match would be...The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton....vs. Edge! But it won't be any ordinary match... It would be a Triple Threat CASKET MATCH! Edge and Orton seemed very unhappy about finding out it would be an Undertaker specialty match. But as they were showing their unhappiness, Kane sat up! They decided to high tail it from the ring rather than deal with any backlash from Kane. MAIN EVENT: Randy Savage vs. Shawn Michaels The two started the match off going back and forth, with neither man able to get an advantage to start. The match spilled over to ringside, where Savage had the upperhand. Savage dropped HBK throat first across the ring barrier and then drove HBK head first into the ring post. This beating on the outside carried back over inside the ring where Savage now had clear control over the match. Savage showed off his strength as he lifted Michaels into the air with a vertical suplex, walked around the ring with HBK before finally droping him down to the mat. Savage made the cover but only got a two count. Savage would attempt a piledriver to HBK, but HBK countered and took Savage's legs out from underneath him. HBK flipped over into a cradle pin but only got a two count. With the crowd cheering him on, HBK fought his way back into the match. Michaels would drop Savage with a belly to back suplex and began warming up the band for some Sweet Chin Music...which brought out the backup as Triple H and Razor Ramon ran down the aisle. Razor Ramon slid into the ring, and HBK immediately met him with Sweet Chin Music! Referee Earl Hebner checked on Ramon, trying to get him out of the ring as HHH attacked Michaels from behind! Triple H laid out HBK with the Pedigree! HHH left the ring as Savage crawled over and made the cover as Earl Hebner got back in position. It was enough for the three count victory for Savage. WINNER - RANDY SAVAGE by pinfall After the match, Razor Ramon and Savage got back to their feet and the three members of Evolution worked over HBK...that is until Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior rushed the ring to even the odds. Hogan and Warrior worked together to clear the ring of Evolution. The show came to a close as Warrior and Hogan helped HBK to his feet as Evolution talked smack from the safety of the stage. |

RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.13 Match 1: Brian Pillman (w/CM Punk) vs. Chris Jericho This non-title match opened up the show as Punk was hoping that his Straight Edge follower would do him the service of weakining Jericho before Jericho had to defend his title against Punk in a couple of weeks. Pillman and Jericho went back and forth early, but Jericho quickly got the upperhand. Jericho was in control until a distraction from Punk allowed Pillman to gain the upperhand. Pillman managed to pick up a few nearfalls, but it was not long before Jericho fought his way back into control. Punk climbed onto the apron as Jericho laid out Punk with a bulldog. Jericho springboarded off the ropes and hit a dropkick to Punk to knock him off the apron. Jericho then pulled Pillman to the middle of the ring and locked in the Liontamer. Pillman quickly tapped out. WINNER - CHRIS JERICHO by submission We've Got Your Back Backstage, Diamond Dallas Page was taping up his wrists and about to make his way down to the ring when Rob Van Dam and John Cena stopped him. They explained they all had a common enemy in The Giant Gonzales and Papa Shango...they've each been on the receiving end of that freak of nature's giant claws...and that if he wanted their help tonight, they would be at ringside with him. DDP basically said thanks, but no thanks...he doesn't ask for help and he doesn't need their help. Cena said he understood, but he may rethink it when he gets out there. RVD said that they still have his back and will be watching backstage. Match 2: Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly) vs. The Giant Gonzales (w/Papa Shango) If at first you don't succeed, try - try again. Apparently DDP is living by that motto as he just does not want to give up on his efforts of trying to take down the giant. Page once again went head on at Gonzales, firing away with punches before trying to attack his legs..but Gonzales still showed no pain. Gonzales laid out Page with a giant headbutt. DDP kept fighting his way back to his feet despite what Gonzales dished out to him, which was quite impressive in itself. But soon Page fell victim to a big Chokeslam from Gonzales. Gonzales grabbed Page by the throat and pulled him back to his feet. It looked like Gonzales was going to continue his onslaught, but instruction from Shango at ringside seemed to make Gonzales reconsider. He dropped Page back to the mat and actually made the cover. Gonzales picked up the three count victory. WINNER - THE GIANT GONZALES by pinfall After the match, Shango entered the ring and picked DDP back up. He lifted DDP up for the Voodoo Driver...but out came Rob Van Dam and John Cena to make the save. Shango quickly left the ring, but Gonzales stayed in the ring to meet the attackers. RVD and Cena teamed up to try and take the big man off his feet. A jumping side kick to the chest staggered Gonzales as Cena climbed to the top turnbuckle and a flying clothesline rocked the big man even more. Gonzales stumbled into RVD who grabbed him by the head and leaped into the air, connecting his knee with Gonzales' jaw. Gonzales was still staggering, but against the ropes and Cena and RVD ran together and clotheslined Gonzales over the top rope. Gonzales flipped over the top rope but landed on his feet at ringside. Shango regrouped with Gonzales and led him to the back as Cena and RVD helped DDP to his feet. Training Day A video montage of Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan's training routines is shown as each are shown furiously working out and preparing for their title match at Triple Jeopardy. Angle is shown running laps, swimming, and then performing wrestling techniques with Jack Swagger. Meanwhile Hogan is shown lifting weights, taking his vitamins, lifting some more weights, drinking some milk and a protein bar, and then lifting some other weights. As the montage ended, Triple H was standing by with "Mean" Gene Okerlund who wanted to know what Triple H was doing to prepare for the title match at Triple Jeopardy. Triple H laughed at Angle and Hogan's "training" and claimed that he doesn't have to train...being a champion comes naturally to him. He explained that they were winners in Evolution, it's what they do. They don't have to practice being a winner..you just WIN. And he wanted us all to watch as Randy Savage and Razor Ramon demonstrate this in the next match against Warrior and HBK. Match 3: Evolution (Savage & Ramon) vs. The Ultimate Warrior & Shawn Michaels Warrior and Michaels may be on opponents at Triple Jeopardy, but tonight they are partners against their common enemy - Evolution. And they certainly seemed to be working well together, as they took firm control of the match from the opening bell. However, a distraction from Savage allowed Razor Ramon to connect with a low blow to HBK. Michaels was slowed down enough for Evolution to take control of him and keep him from tagging in Warrior. Multiple cheapshots and double teams from Evolution kept Shawn Michaels from mounting any sort of offense for the middle portion of the match. The heels worked over Michaels with restholds galore, as the fans kept trying to get HBK to mount a comeback, but everytime it looked like he was going to, the heels would quickly put a stop to it. Razor Ramon would eventually lift up HBK for the Razor's Edge, but HBK managed to wiggle free and slide down Ramon's back. HBK reached back and dropped Ramon with a neckbreaker that left both men down. Both men made the long crawl to the corner and made their tags at the same time. Ultimate Warrior rushed in, and Savage tried to escape but Warrior splashed him from behind in the corner. Savage tried to fight back, but Warrior was having none of that. Ramon recovered and attacked Warrior from behind, but HBK too recovered and evened up the odds. Warrior and HBK worked together to send Razor Ramon out of the ring. Savage slowly stumbled to his feet as Shawn Michaels warmed up the band...SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Savage hit the mat as Warrior bounced off the ropes and hit his big splash to Savage to finish him off and pick up the victory! WINNERS - ULTIMATE WARRIOR & SHAWN MICHAELS by pinfall Lesson #2 Backstage, The Miz was standing by with Chris Kanyon infront of a chalk board. The Miz told Kanyon that last week he was able to learn by example and witness Miz pick apart an opponent and get an impressive victory. Tonight, Kanyon will get his hands on learning. He told Kanyon he's had all week to study the notes he took from the Miz's match last week and now tonight he gets to take what he learned and apply them in an actual match. Kanyon seemed nervous, explaining he was more of a book learner. Miz slapped him and told him if he wants to impress Evolution, he needs to be impressive IN THE RING. Kanyon nodded and promised that he would not let The Miz down tonight. Match 4: Doink the Clown vs. Chris Kanyon (w/The Miz) The Miz was expecting big things from Kanyon here, fully expecting Kanyon to dominate the match and pick up an easy, but impressive victory. Kanyon seemed to be having no problem living up to those expectations as he dominated the fan favorite clown from the opening bell. Miz watched on from ringside, rubbing his chin and nodding in approval as Kanyon put on a clinic against Doink. After a shoulder lift face buster from Kanyon, The Miz called for Kanyon to finish Doink off. Kanyon, apparently having difficulty hearing his mentor's instructions, went in for a closer listen. Meanwhile, Doink rolled out of the ring. The crowd's cheers grew louder as the second Doink emerged from under the ring. With the crowd popping for Doink, Kanyon still could not understand Miz's instructions. "FINISH HIM! FINISH HIM!" Miz yelled repeatedly as the second Doink ran up behind Kanyon and rolled him up! One - Two - Three! WINNER - DOINK THE CLOWN by pinfall A furious Miz entered the ring and laid out Doink from behind with a microphone. With the microphone, Miz told Kanyon that this was Lesson #3. Even in defeat, you need to look strong. So in NO circumstance should you let your opponent get the last laugh. The Miz put the boots to Doink as he tried to get to his feet. Miz told Kanyon that in victory or defeat, you need to come out on top. Kanyon nodded and picked Doink up and laid him out with the Flatliner. Apparently now satisfied with Kanyon's work, The Miz lifted up Kanyon's arm to boos from the crowd. New Match for Triple Jeopardy Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund watched as Sting walked out of Vince Russo's office. Okerlund immediately confronted Sting and wondered what Sting was up to in Russo's office. Sting said that after what happened last week, he had an brilliant idea. He said if Angle continued to duck him and refuse to fight him, he would do the next best thing....fight Jack Swagger instead! After what Swagger did to Sting last week, Sting is dying to get his hands on him. So that's what he was talking to Russo about....getting a match signed for Triple Jeopardy. Sting says he got his wish because at the PPV he will be going one-on-one with Jack Swagger. It may not be Angle, but it's the next best thing. MAIN EVENT: Edge (w/Randy Orton) vs. Kane Orton coached Edge up as Kane made his way down to the ring, but once the match started - Edge had to go up against the Big Red Machine alone. They locked up to start the match, which led to Kane using his size and power to take the upperhand over Edge. The fans were getting behind Kane as he began to lay out punishment to Edge, seeking retribution for last week's attack. It as all Kane until Kane ran into the corner looking to clothesline Edge, but Edge moved out of the way. Kane collided with the turnbuckles which allowed Edge to score with a dropkick to Kane. Edge kept on the offensive, not wanting to give Kane any sort of opening to fight back...but Edge could not keep Kane down. Each time he had Kane on his back, Kane would pop right back up. Edge took to the top rope hoping some high impact offense would do some damage, but as he leaped through the air with a flying crossbody, Kane caught him in the air! Kane ran with Edge and hit a running powerslam. Kane would make the cover but only get a two count. Kane took back control, but when he called for the Tombstone piledriver, Orton slid into the ring. Orton ran for Kane, but Kane grabbed Orton by the throat....CHOKESLAM to Orton to a big pop from the crowd. As Kane disposed of Orton, tossing him out of the ring...Edge had recovered. Kane turned around and was met from out of nowhere with the Spear from Edge! Edge quickly made the cover and picked up the victory! WINNER - EDGE by pinfall Even after the match, Edge continued on the attack...climbing over Kane and laying punches to his skull. Orton climbed back into the ring and laid some boots to Kane as well. Suddenly the lights in the arena went out and the Undertaker's bell began to toll. When the lights came back on, The Undertaker was in the ring! Undertaker laid out Orton with a big right hand and gave Edge one as well. Orton stumbled to his feet into the waiting arms of Undertaker who grabbed him by the throat. But Edge ran in, looking to surprise Taker with a Spear...but Taker moved and Edge nailed Orton with the Spear! A surprised Edge turned around and walked right into a Chokeslam from Undertaker! As both members of Rated RKO had been laid out, Kane had returned to his feet. He grabbed his brother by the arm and forced him around. Kane and Undertaker went nose to nose in a confrontation, just staring at each other as the show came to a close. |
