RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.14 "Real American" opened the show, which brought the fans to their feet with a loud pop. Unfortunately for them, it was a fake-out as the music only brought out Evolution. The crowd turned to boos as Triple H came out dressed in red and yellow, while Randy Savage was a sparkley vest, and Razor Ramon was weaering tassels around his biceps and face paint on his face. One at ringside, Savage and Triple H entered the ring as Razor Ramon ran laps around the ring, but tripped over the ring steps. Ramon face planted to the floor and laid their motionless. Meanwhile, in the ring, Triple H mocked Hogan's posing while Randy Savage did the trademark HBK pose while pyro went off behind him. But the pyro scared Savage and he tripped over his own feet. Triple H took the microphone and mocked Hogan, talking about how scared he was of Triple H and how he knew was going to lose at Triple Jeopardy...no matter how many of these vitamins he took. Triple H pulled out a bottle of medicine that had "STEROIDS" crossed out on the label and the word "VITAMINS" written in hand writing underneath it. Triple H proceeded to pour the entire bottle into his mouth and pose with pills flowing out of his mouth. Randy Savage took the microphone next and mocked Shawn Michaels, making gay references to HBK being a "boy toy" but really just being a toy for boys. Savage continued mocking HBK by coming out to admit that while he likes to think of himself as a "sexyboy," that really every woman is repulsed by him. Finally, Razor Ramon stumbled back into the ring and took the microphone. "Warrior fall down. Warriot hurt. Owie." Ramon talked like a caveman, rubbing his head in "pain." Ramon continued talking like a caveman, and said Warrior might not even make it to Triple Jeopardy...he is close to inventing wheel. As Evolution seemed to be enjoying themselves in the ring, Hogan, Warrior, and HBK had apparently had enough of the mocking in the back. All three stormed the ring to a big reaction from the crowd. Evolution hit the deck and ran to the back before any damage could be done. Savage and Warrior gave chase while Hogan just shrugged and posed for the crowd while kicking the empty "medicine bottle" out of the ring. While Hogan continued to pose...Kurt Angle snuck in from the crowd and entered the ring behind Hogan. He surprised Hogan with the ANGLE SLAM! Angle celebrated to boos from the crowd as he left his opponent for later in the evening lying in the ring. Match 1: 3-Count (w/Evan Karagias) vs. Patriotic Power Prior to the match, Karagias, Moore, and Helms graced us with a concert that was rudely interupted by Lex Luger and The Patriot. Shiavone insisted that Patriotic Power was not content with how their last rematch against The Canadian Foundation had gone, and they were looking to make a statement tonight. And they did just that, dominating the smaller cruiserweights of 3-Count. Even Karagias tried to get involve, but ended up receiving the Patriot Missle from The Patriot! In the end, Luger lifted up Helms into the Torture Rack while Patriot gave Moore the Uncle Slam. It was Luger's Torture Rack that got Helms to submit and give Patriotic Power the victory. WINNERS - PATRIOTIC POWER by submission After the match, Luger got on the microphone and called out Bret Hart and Test, demanding they give them another title shot. Bret Hart and Test walked out from the back and stood on the stage. Bret Hart had the mic and stated that as America's "representative" - Luger was a disgrace to patriotism. He said that they have already lost to the Foundation twice and there was no reason to think if they did it again, it would result in anything other than another victory. HOWEVER, like any true Canadian...Bret Hart and Test say they cannot back down from a challenge. Unlike Americans, they are not afraid of taking on all comers. As they accepted the challenge, Vince Russo came on over the RandomTRON. Russo was glad to see they could agree to a rematch without him having to get involved and FORCE it to happen. However, he feels like this should be more than just your average match...and given how both sides feel so strongly about their patriotism...that the Canadian Foundation will defend their tag team championships against Patriotic Power in...a FLAG MATCH! On The Rocks Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was standing by with Edge and Randy Orton, who later would be taking on The Undertaker and Kane in an epic tag match. Okurland wanted to make sure everything was well in Rated RKO-land after Edge's misguided spear last week. Orton assured us that they were well oiled team, and that Edge's mistake was simply that...a mistake, and in no way is Edge looking to overshadow Orton and keep him from winning the Triple Jeopardy casket match. Edge immediately stepped in, and wanted to know what Orton meant by that. Orton said he just assumed the plan was for him to win. Edge corrected him and said that he deserved the win more than Orton did, and that as far as MISTAKES go, Edge doesn't make mistakes. Orton, trying to calm Edge down, said they could worry about this later. And really, as long as the Undertaker doesn't win, does it really matter who wins or loses? Orton said they just need to focus on tonight's match. Edge agreed, before walking off. Orton then looked at Okerlund and said, "Oh...it definitely matters who wins" before walking off himself. The Dark Carnival Papa Shango led Giant Gonzales and Goldust to the ring as Goldust was to take on John Cena in the next match. But before the match, Shango took the microphone and introduced the world to his Dark Carnival. To many they are nothing more than freaks and sideshow acts...but soon they will take over RWF. Shango proclaimed that this was just the beginning of his Carnival and that John Cena, Rob Van Dam, and Diamond Dallas Page were the unfortunate souls who would be collected first. Match 2: Goldust (w/Shango & Gonzales) vs. John Cena (w/Rob Van Dam & DDP) John Cena came with backup this week as his partners at Triple Jeopardy came to the ring to support him and provide insurance incase Shango and Gonzales decided to get involve. Things stayed clean early, as Goldust and Cena went back and forth on the offensive. A rake of the eyes gave Goldust the upperhand, as he took advantage and picked up a few nearfalls before Cena fought his way back into the match. Cena looked on his way to victory after hitting a spinout powerbomb to Goldust and called for the FU. But in came Shango who attacked Cena! Rob Van Dam and DDP entered the ring and all Hell broke lose as everyone was brawling while Gonzales slowly climbed into the ring. Gonzales laid out Cena first with a giant chop. RVD and DDP tried to double team Gonzales, but Goldust and Shango were there to outnumber him. Goldust hit RVD with the Curtain Call while Gonzales chokeslammed DDP to the mat. Shango picked Cena back up and executed the Voodoo Driver just to be safe. In the end, while Cena was the victor by DQ...it was the Dark Carnival standing tall in the ring. WINNER - JOHN CENA by disqualification The Cat's Corner Ernest "The Cat" Miller made his way out to the ring and addressed the crowd, degrading them and then dancing for them to boos. He finally brought out his guest for the evening, Jack Swagger. Swagger came out to more boos and The Cat wanted to talk to Swagger about what will probably be the biggest match of his career as he went one-on-one with the so-called "Icon" - Sting. Swagger said he didn't consider it a big match...he's already been in the ring with the Hogans, the Savages, and even Sting...and he never broke a sweat. Swagger was confident, claiming that while Sting may have the fan support and sell all the merchandise...when it comes down to it, he's just a better wrestler than Sting ever has been. This brought out the man himself, Sting. Sting confronted Swagger, explaining that he may not have the background in amatuer wrestling that he has...but when it comes to giving a beating, Sting is one of the best. Swagger then challenged Sting to a REAL wrestling competition. Sting said that if Swagger wants to boost his confidence by trying to one-up Sting, Sting was not going to back down. So next week, he WILL meet Swagger in the middle of the ring for an Olympic style wrestling match! MATCH 3: Rated RKO (Orton & Edge) vs. The Undertaker & Kane This match was full of tension on both sides of the ring...Kane and Undertaker clearly had no interest in being the other's tag partner, while Edge and Orton spent most of the match arguing and miscommunicating their offense. While it would appear this would have given Taker and Kane the advantage, everytime one started to get momentum, the other would forcefully blind tag himself in so he could be the one to dish out the punishment to Orton or Edge. Finally Orton and Edge seemed to get on the same page, as they began to work over Kane in their corner. Edge dropped Kane with a jumping DDT but only picked up a two count. A frustrated Edge tagged Orton back in, and held Kane as Orton laid the boots to Kane's midsection while Undertaker watched from his corner. Orton continued on the attack until Kane managed to rake the eyes of Orton. With Orton momentarily blinded, Edge came in to try and defend his partner, but was met with a hard right hand from Kane. Edge stumbled into the blinded Orton, who was startled and hit Edge with the RKO! Meanwhile, Undertaker slapped Kane on the back to tag himself in. Undertaker grabbed Orton by the throat, but Kane apparently had had enough of Undertaker and attacked his brother from behind! Kane grabbed Undertaker and chokeslammed him to the mat! Kane left the ring, leaving Undertaker alone as Orton found himself standing in the ring with Taker and Edge both on the mat and Kane walking away. Orton, not one to question opportunity, made the cover on Undertaker and picked up the victory! WINNER - RATED RKO by pinfall After the match, Randy Orton celebrated his victory while Edge recovered. Orton tried to help Edge up, but Edge shoved Orton away. The two stared each other down and argued...while The Undertaker sat up! Orton spotted this out of the corner of his eye and SHOVED Edge into The Undertaker! Taker grabbed Edge and chokeslammed him to the mat as Orton scurried up the ramp. Lesson #4 In another pre-taped segment, The Miz was going over the latest lesson plan with Chris Kanyon. Miz explained that last week he did not demonstrate the skills he needed to in the ring in Lesson 2...but Lesson 3 he passed with flying colors with that attack on Doink. This week, it's about working together as a team. Evolution is a unit...and there cannot be a weak link in the unit. There's no way they can accept him into their group if they don't think he's a strong link or if they don't think he'll have their back. So tonight, he'll have to prove he can work together as a team. Match 4: Doink & La Parka vs. The Miz & Chris Kanyon Would Chris Kanyon pass Lesson 4 by proving he was a reliable part of a team? If tonight's match was any indication, Kanyon certainly redeemed himself from last week. He and Miz worked very well together, isolating Doink in the ring and kept him from making the tag to La Parka. However, eventually Doink did manage to make the hot tag after catching The Miz off guard with a rolling clothesline. La Parka came in and took out Miz with a clothesline. Kanyon tried to help out his partner, but was laid out by a clothesline of his own. La Parka took a second to strut with both his opponents down. La Parka looked to finish off The Miz with the Skull Bomb..but Kanyon made the save! Kanyon turned La Parka around and dropped him with the Flatliner! Miz rolled over to make the cover for the three count victory. WINNERS - THE MIZ & CHRIS KANYON by pinfall After the match, Miz and Kanyon celebrated and Miz congratulated Kanyon for getting an A+ on Lesson 4. Rated RKO Explodes Tony Shiavone announced that something was going on backstage and a camera had caught up with the commotion. Come to find out, it was Randy Orton and Edge brawling in the back. Edge had apparently had enough of Orton after being fed to The Undertaker earlier. Edge threw Orton head first into the wall and then slammed his head down onto on nearby table. RWF officiallys quickly stepped in to break up the brawl. The two had to be held back from one another as the show went to commercials. MAIN EVENT: Kurt Angle vs. Hulk Hogan Before either man had even made their way down to the ring, Triple H came down to the ring to join Tony Shiavone and Michael Cole at the announce booth. Triple H said he was getting a lot of criticism for supposedly "taking his opponents lightly" so he wanted to show that he to could do some match preperation. He said that next week he would even step into the ring and wrestle a warmup match of his own. Meanwhile, in the ring, Angle and Hogan were going back and forth. Angle eventually took the upperhand by simply wrestling Hogan to the mat and using rest holds to keep him there. But Hogan would not submit no matter what submission Angle threw at him, including the Ankle Lock which Hogan managed to crawl to the ropes to break. After breaking the Ankle Lock, Hogan began to Hulk up. Angle tried to fight back, but to no avail. Hogan responded with some hard right hands and then sent Angle into the ropes and clotheslined him to the mat. Angle rolled back to his feet and walked right into a bodyslam from Hogan. Hogan posed for the crowd, which brought Triple H up from the announce booth. Triple H provided to be a distraction briefly for Hogan, which allowed Angle to recover. Angle grabbed Hogan from behind and threw him over the top rope! Referee Nick Patrick began to warn Angle about the use of the top rope...while Triple H blindsided Hogan at ringside with a chairshot! Angle, noticing Triple H's attack, kept Nick Patrick distracted. HHH pulled Hogan back to his feet and laid him out on the outside with the Pedigree! Triple H returned to his seat at the announce booth and said that was a warm up as well. Patrick turned around and began to count out Hogan...Angle pranced around the ring, not interested in retrieving Hogan from ringside and instead was happy taking a count out victory, which as Patrick finished up the ten count, he did receive. WINNER - KURT ANGLE by countout Angle celebrated his victory like he just won the title itself, while Triple H laid the boots to Hogan some more at ringside. Triple H, not happy with taking out one of his opponents, slid into the ring while Angle was celebrating. Angle was caught completely off guard when he turned around and was met with a boot to the midsection followed by the Pedigree! The show came to a close with Triple H standing tall. He lifted his RWF Championship in the air to boos from the crowd as the show faded out. |

RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.15 Tony Shiavone and Michael Cole welcome us to the LAST show before TRIPLE JEOPARDY. Triple H kicked the show off by making his way down to the ring, dressed to wrestle with the RWF Championship around his waist. He climbed into the ring and waited for the boos to die down a litlte before he began. He wanted to address the criticism he has received for apparently not putting enough effort into preparing for his "big" championship match this weekend. HHH explained once again that when you're this good and so God gifted, you don't have to prepare. BUT, to make everyone happy...he has agreed to a warm up match, RIGHT HERE...RIGHT NOW! His opponent is ready to make his way out right now, HHH explained. He said that he hand picked his opponent tonight. He wanted someone who would test him physically as well as mentally. He wanted someone he knew would be as talented as Kurt Angle and Hogan to best prepare him for the match at Triple Jeopardy. So without further adue...Triple H introduced his opponent... Shannon Moore! Match 1: Triple H vs. Shannon Moore Non-Title Match Shannon Moore seemed to think he had Triple H's respect, asking for a handshake to start the match, but HHH was all business as he met Moore with a boot to the midsection. HHH fired away with punches to Moore before sending him into the ropes and excuting a giant spinebuster. HHH pounded his fist repeatedly into Moore's head on the canvas as referee Charles Robinson warned HHH to let up. HHH got to his feet and waited for Moore to slowly pull himself up. Moore walked right into a kick to the midsection followed by the Pedigree. HHH pinned Moore for the easy victory. WINNER - TRIPLE H by pinfall HHH celebrated his victory as Michael Cole noticed Triple H didn't even break a sweat. Somehow, Cole thought this meant bad things for Angle and Hogan at the PPV...but Shiavone wasn't buying into it once-so-ever. Rated R-K-Over Backstage, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was with one-half of the Rated RKO duo as Edge was all by his lonesome. Okerlund wanted the skinny on what was going on with the two associates after last week's 'misunderstanding.' Edge said that he had had enough of Orton's ginormous ego...Edge mocked Orton's 'Age of Orton' moniker. Edge said day in and day out all he listened to on the road, in arenas, even during matches was how much Orton cared about himself...how great Orton was...how Orton was going to do this or that. Well enough was enough, and Orton proved his true colors to him last week. So at Triple Jeopardy, the sides are evened..it's one-on-one-on-one because he has no interest in working together with Orton in any way. He planned on putting both Undertaker and Orton in their place this weekend, and watching RWF move into the...AGE OF EDGE! Match 2: Rob Van Dam & Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly & John Cena) vs. The Dark Carnival (w/Giant Gonzales) This week it was Shango and Goldust teaming up to take on 2/3 of their six man tag team opponents at Triple Jeopardy. RVD & DDP were sure to bring Cena with them to keep things, somewhat even. Although one would argue you might need about 10 more people to equal one Giant Gonzales. RVD was the face in peril for the majority of the match as Shango and Goldust worked together to work him over. But RVD rolled under a clothesline attempt from Goldust and came back with a spinning heel kick. RVD was able to make the tag to DDP who came in and took out Shango and Goldust with dueling right hands and then a discus clothesline took Shango out of the ring. Goldust would end up finding himself in a fireman's carry that DDP swung around into the Diamond Cutter! DDP made the cover - One, Two, Thre....Giant Gonzales lifted Page off of Goldust into a Gorilla Press! RVD came running in but Gonzales gave him a boot to the midsection. Cena slid into the ring, but Gonzales threw Page onto Cena, taking out both men! RVD rolled back to his feet and was chopped back down by Gonzales. Referee Mickey Jay called for the bell as Gonzales continued his destruction. WINNERS - RVD & DDP by disqualification Gonzales grabbed RVD by the throat as Cena and DDP came back into the ring, both armed with chairs! First they took out Shango and Goldust with dueling chair shots before Gonzales dropped RVD back to the mat. Gonzales lifted his leg up and kicked the chair back into Cena's own face, sending Cena to the mat. Page connected with the chair to Gonzales' back. But Gonzales no-sold it, turning to face Page. He snatched the chair right out of Page's hand and delivered a chairshot to Page's head! Page dropped to the mat, and Gonzales grabbed him by the hair, starting to pull him back to his feet...but Page hit the giant with an uppercut to the groin! Gonzales doubled over in pain as the crowd popped for Page. Shiavone dubbed that the "great equalizer" as Page took advantage...and dropped Gonzales with the Diamond Cutter! DOWN GOES GONZALES! DOWN GOES GONZALES! Screamed Shiavone at the top of his lungs like this was the greatest moment in wrestling history. He does mention that Page became the first person to knock Gonzales off his feet. Cole said it was tainted due to the lowblow, which is completely illegal, but Shiavone said it doesn't matter when the match is over! You gotta do what you gotta do, snapped Shiavone. DDP helped RVD and Cena to their feet as they stood tall. Lesson #5 Backstage, The Miz was busying teaching his 'star pupil' Chris Kanyon some more important techniques into being a successful star in the RWF. This week's lesson was all about the elemenet of 'surprise.' Catching someone off guard in a match or even if it's attacking your enemy off guard outside the ring...or even in the ring during a match that doesn't even involve you..that's what it's all about. That's when you can do some real damage...and he's certain that nothing would impress Evolution more than if he could successfully catch one of THEIR enemies off guard. Kanyon noted that he tried that before, but Miz asked if he was successful in actually helping? Kanyon hung his head and answered that he was not. Miz said this time he needed to make sure he was, because even with the Miz teaching him - too many mistakes could do him more damage than even The Miz can fix. Match 3: Randy Savage vs. The Ultimate Warrior In another 'preview' match, Savage and Warrior met as 2/3 of the triple threat match at Triple Jeopardy in a singles match, while Shawn Michaels was shown watching very closely backstage. Savage and Warrior brawled back and forth throughout the match, but it was when referee Nick Patrick caught a little too close to the action when things began to get out of hand. An errant punch from Savage ended up connecting with Nick Patrick, which left the referee out of place when Warrior took control and dropped Savage with the Gorilla Press Slam followed by the running splash. The fans counted the three...but no actual referee was available with Patrick still out. Warrior tried to shake Patrick out of it, but as he did...Chris Kanyon came from the crowd! Kanyon slid into the ring and spun Warrior around. Kanyon dropped the Warrior with the Flatliner! Kanyon slid out of the ring and ran back through the crowd. Savage slowly started to regain his composure...but out came Shawn Michaels! HBK slid into the ring and evened the odds by taking out Savage with the Sweet Chin Music! HBK hopped back out of the ring as Warrior climbed back to his feet. Warrior, not sure what just happened, climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit a flying splash to Savage as Nick Patrick recovered. Warrior picked up the three count as Chris Kanyon looked on from the stands in disbelief. WINNER - ULTIMATE WARRIOR by pinfall A Wrestling Challenge Jack Swagger made his way down to the ring for what was suppose to be an Olympic Style challenge between himself and his opponent at Triple Jeopardy, Sting. Swagger got on the microphone at first, insulting Sting and promising to embarass him infront of all his fans tonight. Sting made his way down to the ring, still confident despite obviously being at the disadvantage in such a contest. The two got into position and Swagger quickly scored a takedown to Sting, which got loud boos from the crowd. Sting managed to sneak free from Swagger's grasp and the two circled before grappling. Sting actually took control, scoring with a go-behind on Swagger and then taking his legs out from underneath him from behind! Sting looked to actually try to show up Swagger...but it didn't last much longer when Kurt Angle hit the ring, attacking Sting from behind. Angle and Swagger laid the boots to Sting on the mat, but their double teaming wouldn't last because Hulk Hogan ran down to the ring to even the odds. Hogan single handedly cleared the ring of Angle and Swagger as Sting got to his feet. Hogan took the microphone and challenged Angle and Swagger to a tag match TONIGHT! Angle said thanks, but no thanks...but Vince Russo appeared over the RandomTRON. Russo said he had been worried because he had yet to come up with a suitable main event for tonight...but Hogan's idea is a great one. So despite what Angle had to say, these four men would meet later tonight in the main event. Match 4: The Canadian Foundation & CM Punk vs. Patriotic Power & Chris Jericho Lot's of gold in this match as the tag champs team with the contender to the US Title in Punk while US Champ Jericho teamed with the tag contenders in Patriotic Power. The faces took control early from the opening bell, but the teamwork of Bret Hart and Test soon became too much for Jericho as he found himself being double and sometimes triple teamed by the heels. Jericho would have to battle his way out of several nearfalls...most of the times kicking out himself but a few times he had to rely on Luger or Patriot to make the save. Punk would attempt to finish off Jericho with the GTS, but Jericho countered, sliding down Punk's back and hitting a modified backbreaker to Punk! Jericho rolled to the corner and tagged in the Patriot. Patriot ran in as Punk tagged in Test. Test and Patriot exchanged rights and lefts in the middle of the ring, until Bret Hart attacked Patriot from behind. Luger entered the ring to even the odds as the match began to get out of Mike Chioda's control. Jericho and Punk meanwhile were taking their fight to ringside. A flying forearm from Luger sent Bret Hart to the mat and rolling out of the ring while Patriot hit the Uncle Slam to Test! Patriot made the cover and picked up the victory for his team. WINNERS - PATRIOTIC POWER & CHRIS JERICHO by pinfall Master Manupilating Backstage, Kane was just...walking...when Randy Orton approached him. Kane looked ready to fight back, but Orton calmed him down saying he just wanted to talk. Orton wanted to apologize for the past few weeks..he said the attack was all Edge's idea. Edge was always making Orton do things he didn't want to do. Orton, himself, appreciated everything Kane had done for them and wanted to help Kane get back at both Undertaker and Edge. Orton continued talking out his ass, but Kane seemed to like what Orton had to say. In the end, Orton gave Kane a pat on the back and told him he'd be in touch. MAIN EVENT: The All-American Americans vs. Hulk Hogan & Sting Sting and Hogan reunite to form their iconic tag team, last seen when Sting stepped in to replace an injured Randy Savage in the tag championship tournament. The mega-face team of Hogan and Sting had the crowd roaring from the opening bell, and were taking it to both Angle and Swagger early. But Sting soon fell victim to some underhanded double teaming from the All-American Americans which gave Angle and Swagger the upperhand. Angle worked over Sting's ankle during the match, as both Swagger and Angle have the Anklelock in their arsenal. Swagger looked to really dish out some punishment to Sting as he set him on the top turnbuckle, but Sting began fighting back with some punches as Swagger tried to set him up. Sting managed to counter his attack and come off the top turnbuckle with a Tornado DDT to Swagger! Both men were down, and both men made the tag to their partner at the same time. Hogan came in like a house of fire and laid out Angle. He then sent Swagger over the top rope with a clothesline. Hogan continued on the offensive to one of his opponenets at Triple Jeopardy, but when he went for a bodyslam, Angle slid down Hogan's back and hit a release German Suplex! The momentum came to a close as Angle immediately went to work over Hogan. As Angle resorted to restholds to keep the Immortal one down, Sting began stomping on the apron and pounding on the turnbuckle, getting the fans to rally behind their hero. It looked like it was working, as Hogan began to hulk up to his feet and fought off the attack of Angle. Hogan made the tag to Sting who came in with a flying clothesline to take out Angle. Angle rolled to the corner and tagged in Swagger, who ran in and was met with a boot to the midsection from Sting. Sting hit rapid-fire punches to Swagger before sending him into the corner...STINGER SPLASH! Sting sent Swagger into the opposite corner, which also happened to be the heel corner, where Angle tagged himself in right before Sting hit a second Stinger splash! Angle came in and clipped Sting's legs from behind to take him down. Angle tried to continue on the offensive, grabbing Sting by the leg, but Sting countered with an enziguri! Sting made it to the corner to tag Hogan back in. Angle tried to go toe-to-toe with Hogan, but Hogan was having none of it! Hogan sent Angle into the ropes...BIG BOOT! Hogan motioned to the crowd, bounced off the ropes, and hit the ATOMIC LEGDROP! Hogan hooked a leg and got the three count victory! WINNERS - HULK HOGAN & STING by pinfall Triple H walked out onto stage, holding his RWF Championship as Hogan and Sting were celebrating in the ring. Triple H gave a confident smirk as he sarcastically clapped for Hogan. Triple H indicated that the belt would be staying with him, but in the ring, Hogan gave the "belt" motion around his waist as the crowd cheered him on. Sting and Hogan continued to celebrate and pose for the crowd as Tony Shiavone gave one last pimp for Triple Jeopardy as the show came to a close. |

RWF PRESENTS: TRIPLE JEOPARDY Tony Shiavone and Michael Cole welcomed us in and thanked us for purchasing the event tonight. Shiavone PROMISED us we would NOT be disappointed. I'll be the judge of that! MATCH 1: Diamond Dallas Page, Rob Van Dam, & John Cena (w/Kimberly) vs. The Dark Carnival Six man action to kick things off at Triple Jeopardy. Hey each team has three people on it. Triple! Themed shows are FUN....ANywho, Page and Goldust started the match off for their respective teams. Obviously the faces goal here was to keep Gonzales from entering the ring, which they actually did manage to do for the majority of the match. Page, Cena, and RVD stayed in control for most of the match, limiting the competitors in the ring to Shango and Goldust. Goldust actually seemed to find himself on the receiving end of most of the offense during the match. A well placed nutshot from Goldust to DDP turned the tables and allowed Goldust to tag in Giant Gonzales while DDP tagged in Cena. Cena climbed to the top turnbuckle and dove off the top rope, only to be caught and slammed to the mat by Gonzales. Gonzales palced his boot over Cena's throat and choked him until referee Mike Chioda warned him. Shango instructed Gonzales to release the hold, which he did. RVD and DDP both entered the ring to try and help their partner, but Shango leveled RVD with a chop to the head and DDP was tossed over the top rope to the floor by Gonzales. Gonzales followed Page to the outside to continue the attack, while the legal man - Cena - in the ring tried to get to his feet. Outside the ring, Gonzales grabbed Page by the throat and was going to Chokeslam him, but Kimberly snuck up behind Gonzales and raked his back with her nails! Gutsy move by the wife of DDP...but Gonzales just turned around and began stalking Kimberly. Referee Mike Chioda tried to regain control at ringside, while in the ring, Shango and Goldust attacked RVD and Cena while they were down. Gonzales continued to stalk Kimberly, until Page intervened by running the apron and dropping an axe handle to Gonzales' back. A stunned Gonzales was then slammed head first into the ring steps! Gonzales shook off the pain and grabbed Page by the throat again...and chokeslammed him to the floor! Gonzales climbed back into the ring as Goldust and Shango returned to the apron. Gonzales lifted Cena up by his throat and delivered another massive chokeslam, this time in the middle of the ring. Shango instructed Gonzales to tag him in...which Gonzales did. Shango entered the ring, lifted Cena up and executed the Voodoo Driver to get the easy pinfall. WINNERS - THE DARK CARNIVAL by pinfall After the match, Kimberly was attending to the fallen Page at ringside, while in the ring Gonzales seemed to be eyeing Kimberly. Michael Cole joked that it looked like Kimberly may have caught the Giant's eyes. Backstage with Evolution Triple H, Razor Ramon, and Randy Savage were backstage in their personal suite to address their opponents for the night. Savage gauranteed a victory in his match against Ultimate Warrior and Shawn Michaels, assuring that the next title match would feature Savage against his partner HHH, assuring the belt does not leave Evolution. Triple H hinted to Evolution could be growing soon...as success breeds more success. And he went on to say that the success would continue tonight when Triple H retains the RWF Championship. MATCH 2: CM Punk (w/Brian Pillman) vs. Chris Jericho (c) RWF United States Championship Match Punk and Jericho went back and forth match from the opening bell. The fans were solidly behind the reigning champion, who was looking impressive against the more veteran Punk. Jericho picked up a few nearfalls before Brian Pillman's prescense at ringside began to show itself. However, a baseball slide dropkick to Pillman at ringside set Pillman out of action, for a little while atleast. But the distraction still proved beneficial to Punk who took advantage and attacked Jericho from behind. Punk picked up a couple nearfalls on the champion before Jericho wrestled his way back into the match. The two went back and forth with high impact offense while also demonstrating each other's innovative maneuvers. Jericho managed to score a double leg takedown to Punk and turn him over into the Liontamer...but Pillman had recovered and jumped onto the apron to distract referee Mickey Jay as Punk was tapping out. Jericho released the hold and confronted Pillman, landing an elbow to the side of Pillman's head. But when Jericho turned around he walked into a waiting Punk who lifted Jericho up and hit him with the GTS! Punk made the cover and got the three count to become the NEW United States Champion! WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION - CM Punk by pinfall Backstage with the All-American Americans "Mean" Gene Okerlund was standing by backstage with Kurt Angle and Jack Swagger, both who have big matches tonight...but none bigger than Angle's RWF championship match. But first, Angle wanted to give a pep talk to Swagger to prepare him for his match against Sting. Angle assures Swagger he is fully prepared to take on Sting...there is no reason he should be worried as he himself has defeated Sting on NUMBEROUS occassions, and if he follow's Angle's advice - he had nothing to worry about. Swagger was confident, saying he had this one in the bag. Speaking of in the bag, Angle said he himself has never been more prepared for a match than he is tonight. He hasn't felt this good since right before he won the Olympic Gold medal. It's a good feeling to have, and he knows that tonight will be a similar result. Except of course it's for a gold belt instead of a gold medal. MATCH 3: Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Savage (w/Razor Ramon) vs. Ultimate Warrior This would be the FIRST of our TRIPLE main events of the evening. I guess Savage didn't like his odds going against both Warrior and Michaels, so he brought some backup of his own in the form of his teammate Razor Ramon. HBK and Warrior had no problems sharing time taking the beating to Randy Savage right out of the gate. One would sit back and watch while the other got some offense in before the other stepped in. This trading off went back and forth for the early portion of the match until HBK tried to get a pinfall, only to have Warrior break it up. Realizing that they both wanted this victory, Warrior and HBK squared off against one another while giving Savage time to recover. Savage rolled out of the ring where Ramon helped him shake loose the cobwebs. Warrior would eventually get the best of HBK and clothesline him over the top rope. Savage saw this as his opportunity to strike, and did so - clobbering Warrior from behind with an axehandle smash. Meanwhile, at ringside, with referee Nick Patrick watching the action in the ring...Ramon snuck in a running kick to the midsection of HBK while he was struggling to get to his feet. Ramon, glancing to see if Patrick was still not looking, grabbed HBK and threw him into the ringsteps. Ramon backed off as Patrick heard the noise. Back in the ring, Savage tried to take advantage of it now being one-on-one by making several pinfall attempts, but Warrior kept kicking out. Savage set up Warrior for a piledriver only to have Warrior reverse it with a backdrop. Warrior began feeding off the crowd's energy, and Savage's offense was having no effect on him. Warrior shook the ropes violently before running back and forth, hitting repeated clotheslines to Savage before lifting him up for the Gorilla Press Slam...but HBK had re-entered the ring...and hit SWEET CHIN MUSIC to Warrior while he was holding Savage! Savage and Warrior both hit the canvas while HBK dropped to one knee, still struggling to regain composure. Michaels shook it off and made the cover on Warrior - One, Two, Thre...Savage made the save in the nick of time. Michaels fought off Savage's attacks and ended up laying out Savage with a belly to back suplex. HBK kipped up and headed to the top turnbuckle. But when Micahels came off the top looking for a flying elbow, Savage rolled out of the way! But before Savage could capitalize, Warrior attacked him from out of nowhere. Warrior lifted Savage up into the Gorilla Press and tossed him over the top rope onto Razor Ramon! Warrior then bounced off the ropes and hit the Big Splash to the fallen HBK! Warrior hooked a leg and picked up the three count victory! WINNER - THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR by pinfall Backstage with Randy Orton and Kane The camera literally snuck up on Orton and Kane, who were having a secret meeting in some dark corner of the arena. Orton is overheard asking Kane if he understood the plan, and Kane nodded. When Orton noticed the camera, he told the cameraman to GET OUTTA HERE and that THIS DOESN'T CONCERN YOU. Orton shoved the camera away and we cut back to the ring. MATCH 4: Patriotic Power vs. The Canadian Foundation (c) RWF Tag Team Championship Flag Match It was Old Glory vs. Whatever Canada calls their flag...plus the tag titles were on the line. Referee Charles Robinson was there to officiate, but in a match like this all he had to do was sit there and wait for someone to grab a flag and call for the bell. All four men were legal at once in this match, so it was definitely chaotic. Each team had their opportunities to grab the flag, there would be someone there to make the save. It looked like Patriotic Power might sneak out a victory when Bret Hart had the Patriot locked in the Sharpshooter, which Tony Shiavone noted that it seemed like a waste of time since submissions don't matter. But while Hart had his partner locked in the submission and his back to the American flag, Luger snuck in and climbed the turnbuckle. But before he could pull the flag completely out, Test recovered and put a stop to that. Hart finally released the submission to the Patriot and went over to join in on the double team of Luger. They put a beating to Luger, and then sent him into the ropes. Luger ducked a double clothesline attempt from the Foundation and came off the rope with a leaping double clothesline that left all three men. With Patriot still recovering from the Sharpshooter, that left all four men down on the mat! Luger crawled to the corner first, and began to try and climb the turnbuckle, but Bret Hart met him in the corner...Hart clibmed with Luger to the top turnbuckle and came off the top with a superplex! Both men were down on the mat and now it was The Patriot who limped over to the corner, selling the affects of the Sharpshooter as he struggled to climb the rope to try and get the American Flag. Test recovered to grab Patriot from behind and slam his head into the flag pole, and then lifted Patriot off the ropes into a running powerbomb! Test stumbled to the corner where he climbed the turnbuckle posts and unhooked the flag to pick up the victory! WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS - THE CANADIAN FOUNDATION by flag retrieval Post match, Bret Hart and Test hoisted their belts and the Canadian flag to boos from the crowd. Lesson #6 The Miz and Chris Kanyon made their way down to the ring as Miz continued his ongoing lessons to Kanyon. This week's lesson was about never backing down from a challenge. That's why tonight, Kanyon will take on ALL-COMER'S. Kanyon seemed nervous, but Miz continued saying he had went around the back and found some people who wanted to get in on tonight's Pay-Per-View. Kanyon's tension was lifted a bit when his first 'opponent' came out and was revealed as Evan Karagias. Kanyon attacked Karagias as he was climbing into the ring, and laid the boots to him, not letting him get any offense in. Kanyon then picked up Karagias and leveled him with The Flatliner! Kanyon made the cover, and Miz made the three count. Together they picked up Karagias and tossed him out of the ring. Miz said the test wasn't over, as he brought out Kanyon's next opponent...Scott Steiner! Kanyon, who had seemed to confident after easily handling Karagias, was not as confident about Big Poppa Pump making his way to the ring. Kanyon attempted to jump right on Steiner as he had done with Karagias, but Steiner was not so easy to put down. Steiner fought back and leveled Kanyon with a big clothesline. Steiner continued on the attack, lifting Kanyon up into a hanging vertical suplex. Miz was trying to coach Kanyon back into the 'contest' - but it as all Steiner...that is until Kanyon scored a low blow to Steiner. Steiner was doubled over...and Kanyon hit the Flatliner! Kanyon made the pin and Miz made a quick three count! Still not over just yet, as Miz brought out Kanyon's next challenge - VADER! Kanyon, still trying to catch his breath from the beating he recieved from Steiner, was not pleased with this turn of events. Vader entered the ring and took advantage of an exhausted Kanyon. Vader hit a couple of corner splashes to Kanyon and then hit the Vader Bomb! Vader made the pin, and Miz made a very slow three count...but it was a three count nevertheless. Miz seemed disappointed, but told Kanyon that Lesson 7 was about never giving up. Which brought him to the final challenge of the night... Yokozuna! 'Oh come on!' a very unsettled Kanyon exclaimed as Yokozuna waddled out to the ring. Kanyon went head on at Yokozuna, but his tired offense was little match to the mammoth sumo wrestler. Yokozuna laid out Kanyon with a Samoan Drop. Yokozuna bounced off the ropes and went for a running legdrop, but Kanyon rolled out of the way! Kanyon slid out of the ring and grabbed a chair at ringside, bringig it back into the ring and clocking Yokozuna across the head with a chairshot. Miz seemed pleased as Kanyon hit another chairshot to the big man and then laid out Yokozuna with the Flatliner! Kanyon made the cover and Miz counted a three! Miz lifted Kanyon's arm up in victory and seemed very impressed with his pupil as the crowd met them with boos. Match 5: Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker Casket Match Two closed caskets were on opposite sides of the ring...the rules were simple enough - three men, two caskets, one winner. Edge and Orton were the first two out, and Edge wasted no time waiting for The Undertaker to make his way out and attacked Orton right away. The two had already spilled the fight out to ringside when The Undertaker was slowly making his way to the ring. Orton took control at ringside, driving Edge head first into one of the caskets. Once Taker made it to the ring, Orton turned his attention to him, but Undertaker leveled him with a big right hand. Undertaker held the offensive advantage against Orton until Edge finally rejoined the fight. Edge went after The Undertaker, but Taker laid him out as well. As Undertaker continued to control the match, he would eventually try an early Tombstone to Edge, only to have Orton attack Taker from behind. The sneak attack gave Orton an advantage as he tried to keep Undertaker down on the mat. Edge soon joined in the attack, briefly working with Orton before remembering that they are no longer friends...so he took out Orton with the SPEAR! Edge and Orton would take turns working over Taker until the other recovered, attacked the other, and then went back to work on Taker. Eventually, Edge would have both Orton and Undertaker down on the mat and looked to capitalize. He pulled Orton to the edge of the ring and climbed out onto the apron to open up the casket. But when he opened the casket up...KANE was already in the casket! Kane sat up and grabbed a surprised Edge by the throat. Kane climbed out of the casket while holding Edge by his throat, and Chokeslammed Edge into the casket! Orton recovered and watched on in approval as Kane closed the casket down, effectively eliminating Edge from the match. But Kane took it a step further as he locked the casket shut and wheeled it to the back! Orton smirked as he watched Kane disappear with the confined Edge, but turned around right into an uppercut from The Undertaker! The fight would soon end up at ringside as Undertaker opened up the second casket and began trying to get Orton inside. Orton fought back and drove Taker head first into the casket and then tossed him into the ringsteps. Orton rolled back into the ring as Undertaker recovered and followed him back. Orton met Taker as he entered the ring, keeping on the offensive and laid out Taker in the ring with the RKO! Orton looked to the casket and realized he had to move Undertaker's heavy prone body from the middle of the ring to the waiting casket next to the apron. Orton struggled to move Taker's lifeless body, but finally rolled him into the casket...but when he went to shut it, Taker blocked it by lifting up his leg! Taker grabbed Orton from inside the casket and headbutted him! Orton fell backwards and Taker climbed out of the casket. Orton stumbled around ringside, grabbing a chair before climbing back into the ring while Taker gave chase. Taker followed Orton back into the ring and ducked a wild chairshot from Orton, then laid out Orton with the Big Boot. Taker continued on the attack, eventually rolling Orton out onto the apron. Taker stepped out with him as well, and lifted Orton up for a Tombstone on the apron, seeming to indicate he was going to Tombstone Orton from the apron into the casket! But Orton fought it off! Orton escaped, sliding down Taker's back - back into the ring. Orton picked up the chair as Taker turned around and clocked Taker across the head with the chair! Taker was staggered, but Orton followed up with a second chair shot that saw Taker starting to fall backwards, but holding onto the ropes to keep his support. But a third chairshot was too much as Taker fell backwards off the apron into the casket. Undertaker fell with such force that the casket actually shut itself after his impact. With the casket shut, Undertaker had been eliminated, leaving Orton as the last man standing. WINNER - RANDY ORTON by casket confinement Orton wasted no time after hearing himself declared the victor - he jumped out of the ring and began wheeling the Undertaker's casket to the back... Backstage with Sting "Mean" Gene Okerlund was standing by with Sting who was clearly amped for his upcoming match with Jack Swagger. Sting said he had been waiting for weeks to get a one-on-one match with one of the All-American Americans...it's not Kurt Angle, but Jack Swagger is just as good. Sting said that after he gets finished with Angle's sidekick tonight...he would be coming for Angle next...whether he's champion or not! Vanishing Act Elsewhere backstage, Randy Orton arrived with the casket containing The Undertaker to where Kane had been waiting with the casket containing Edge, and they both happened to be standing next to a hearse. Orton was pleased with the way their plan had played out. He put his ear up to Edge's casket and could hear Edge beating against the side of the casket and screaming for them to let him out. Orton laughed and helped Kane lift the casket up and slide it into the hearse. They then moved over to Undertaker's casket. Orton put his ear up to the side, but did not hear anything. Orton opened the casket up...to find it completely empty. Orton was beside himself as he had been with the casket from the moment Undertaker was closed inside to now. A furious Orton demanded Kane to carry on with the plan. Kane nodded and climbed into the hearse, driving off as Orton was left looking over his shoulder in paranoia. Match 6: Jack Swagger vs. Sting Swagger and Sting locked up from the opening bell, and when Swagger seemed to get the upperhand on the 'Icon' in the early going - he began to show a bit too much confidence as he outwrestled the man they call Sting. But Swagger was unable to capitalize on his control, as Sting would not stay down for a three count. With the crowd behind him, Sting battled his way back into the match and laid out Swagger with a one handed bulldog. Sting retook control of the match, hitting Swagger with some high impact offense. When Swagger tried to take a breather at ringside, Sting hit a slingshot crossbody to ringside that sent both men to the floor. Sting recovered first and sent Swagger back into the ring where Sting climbed top the top turnbuckle and flew off with a flying splash to Swagger, but would only pick up a two count. Swagger would finally catch Sting off the ropes when he attempted another crossbody, but this time Swagger turned it into a powerslam. Swagger would eventually locked on the Ankle lock to Sting, but Sting refused to submit. He fought his way to the ropes and forced Swagger to release the hold. Swagger attempted a gutwrench powerbomb, but Sting reversed it into a DDT! Both men were down and struggling to their feet. They recovered at about the same time and began exchanging rights and lefts until Sting whipped Swagger into the corner. Stinger Splash in one corner led to a second Stinger Splash in the second corner! Swagger stumbled out of the corner and fell to the mat where Sting locked in the Scorpion Deathlock! Swagger tried to fight his way to the ropes, but Sting pulled him back to the middle of the ring where Swagger finally gave in and tapped out. WINNER - STING by submission Backstage with Hulk Hogan 'Mean' Gene Okerlund was standing by with Hulk Hogan as the RWF Championship match was next. Hogan said he had been denied the RWF Championship once when Triple H and Evolution literally stole it from him...but he's not going to let it happen again. Tonight, Hulkamania would rule the kingdom and the RWF Championship would be claimed in the name of Hulkamania! MAIN EVENT: Hulk Hogan vs. Kurt Angle vs. Triple H (c) RWF Championship Match At the opening bell, Hogan immediately tried to fight off both HHH and Angle, and was successful briefly before the two-on-one numbers became too much for even Hogan. Angle and HHH worked together early, keeping Hogan from getting any offense in, but when Angle tried to sneak in a quick pinfall while HHH wasn't looking...Triple H was done playing buddy-buddy with Angle and went on the attack. Angle and HHH began to trade offense back and forth while Hogan recovered. Once Hogan was back to his feet, he laid out Angle with a right hand and then met Triple H with one as well. A clothesline from Hogan to Angle sent Angle out of the ring. Triple H was lifted up by Hogan and bodyslammed to the mat. Hogan posed for the crowd and bounced off the ropes...ATOMIC LEGDROP to Triple H! It looked like we would already be crowning a new champion as Hogan made the cover, but Angle broke it up at the last second. Triple H rolled to ringside to recover as Angle went on the offensive to Hogan. Angle worked over Hogan, especially his knees and ankles. Hogan kept trying to fight his way back to his feet, but Angle would immediately cut him back down. Angle locked in the Ankle Lock to Hogan much to the chagrin of the crowd. Hogan was in immense pain as referee Earl Hebner checked in to see if he wanted to submit, but Hogan refused. The crowd cheered him on as he fought his way to the ropes and broke the hold. An upset Angle argued with Hebner, but then went back on the attack, only to have Hogan fight back as he Hulked his way up. Now it was Hogan's turn to be on the offensive as he worked over Angle with rights and lefts and then sent Angle into the ropes. Off the ropes, Hogan hit Angle with the Big Boot! Angle hit the mat, but Hogan was slow to capitalize due to the work Angle had done on his leg. Hogan finally recovered to try and hit the Atomic Legdrop, but in came Triple H who caught Hogan off the ropes with a spinebuster! Triple H pulled Hogan back up to his feet and gave him a boot to the midsection followed by the Pedigree! Triple H rolled Hogan over and went for the pin - One, Two, Thre....Angle broke it up just in time. Triple H fought back against Angle and the two went back and forth until Triple H hit Angle with a low blow and went for the Pedigree...only to have Angle counter with a backdrop! Triple H stumbled back to his feet...right into an ANGLE SLAM! Angle made the cover...One, Two...Hogan broke it up! A furious Angle got back to his feet and went on the attack to Hogan. Hogan took a right hand swing at Angle, but Angle ducked and hit Hogan with the ANGLE SLAM! Angle made the pin...One, Two, Thre...HOGAN KICKED OUT! Angle could not believe it, he argued a slow count to Hebner, but Hebner paid him no mind. Angle lowered the straps on his singlet and grabbed Hogan by the ankle, locking in another Anklelock! As Hebner once again checked on Hogan, Triple H this time broke up the submission hold to Angle. Triple H unloaded a flurry of rights and lefts to Angle, backing him up against the ropes. Triple H backed up and charged at Angle, only to have Angle lift Triple H into the air, sending HHH over the top rope and crashing to the floor! Angle mocked HHH cockily from in the ring, but when he turned around...he found himself staring into a clothesline from Hogan! Angle rolled to his feet as the crowd went crazy. Hogan lifted Angle up and bodyslammed him to the mat! Hogan bounced off the ropes and hit the ATOMIC LEGDROP to Angle to a big pop from the crowd. Hogan made the cover...ONE, TWO, THREE! We have ourselves a new RWF Champion! WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION - HULK HOGAN by pinfall The show came to a close as Hogan celebrated with the RWF Championship by posing in the ring for the crowd. Triple H headed back up the ramp with a sour look on his face as he had to watch Hogan celebrating on the RandomTRON. |

RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.16 The show kicked off with a recap of Triple Jeopardy - with the RWF Championship victory by Hulk Hogan capping off the evening and the video. From the video, "Real American" played to bring out the new champion himself - Hulk Hogan. The fans greeted Hogan with a deafening pop as he walked out with the RWF Title around his waist, posing for the crowd. Hogan got on the microphone and talked about how great it was to be the RWF champion and how great it was to take the title from Triple H, and be the ones to send all the fans home happy. He knew it was only a matter of time before people started lining up and wanting a title shot...and he was ready for all comer's. And he knew Triple H himself would probably be demanding a rematch, if he hasn't already. And Hogan says he's ready for that as well. But was he ready for...The Ultimate Warrior?! Warrior interrupted Hogan's victory speach by sprinting down to the ring, doing some laps around the actual ring before entering the ring and shaking the ropes for a few moments. Hogan welcomed Warrior to the ring, and commented on how he always loves Warrior's energy. Warrior was all business - not interested in any idle chit-chat with Hogan. Warrior said he won the right to a title shot at Triple Jeopardy...and he didn't want to waist ANY time cashing it in. Hogan said he had no problem with that - he's always had a why wait mentality. Hogan said if Warrior didn't have any plans next week, they would square off for the RWF Title then and there! Unsurprisingly, Warrior had no problem with that. They shook hands to seal the deal and a huge main event was set for NEXT WEEK as Hogan would defend the RWF Title against The Ultimate Warrior on FREE TV! Match 1: Papa Shango (w/The Dark Carnival) vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly) After being on the losing end at Triple Jeopardy, DDP wanted to get his hands on the ring leader of the Dark Carnival - Papa Shango himself. Page let lose a huge flurry of rights and lefts to open the match as the two brawled for a majority of the match. Page was in form control until some distraction from ringside from Goldust and Giant Gonzales allowed Shango to gain control of the match. The antics at ringside began to take center stage to the action in the ring as Kimberly began to try and help her man out...but found herself being stalked by the freakish Goldust around the ring. Goldust caught up to Kimberly and planted a big kiss on her lips, only to get slapped. As Page fought his way back to his feet and laid out Shango with a discus clothesline...he began to call for the Diamond Cutter...but saw his wife at ringside getting terrorized by the Giant Gonzales. This distracted Page long enough for Shango to recover...and he hit the Voodoo Driver to Page to pick up the three count! WINNER - PAPA SHANGO by pinfall After the match, the Dark Carnival entered the ring together and continued the attack on Page. Kimberly climbed into the ring and jumped onto Goldust's back - clawing into his eyes with her long nails. Goldust screamed out in pain and flung Kimberly over his shoulders to the mat. Shango picked up his voodoo stick and blew smoke into Kimberly's face. He then picked her up over his shoulder. Page struggled to his feet, but Shango ordered Gonzales to finish Page off. Page tried to save his wife, but Gonzales nearly took his head off with a monster big boot as Goldust and Shango left the ring, taking Kimberly along with them. Gonzales picked Page up by his throat, and set him on the top turnbuckle. Gonzales then stepped out onto the apron..and chokeslammed Page off the top turnbuckle to the floor at ringside! The fans booed as Gonzales left the ring leaving Page a broken mess. After the commercial break, Shiavone showed us the footage of what happened during the break which saw DDP being taken out of the arena on a stretcher. The Cat's Corner After a rather length absence, The Cat returned tonight with the Cat's Corner! He said he knew all his fans missed his dancing...so he danced for us before informing us that he had a very special treat for us tonight as his guest was almost as good of a dancer as he is! His guest tonight was...LA PARKA! La Parka came out to mild fanfare and while La Parka did not speak, he did indicate that he wanted to challenge The Cat to a...DANCE OFF! The Cat acted offended and told us that Somebody better call his moma because he's about to show this fool how it's done. He let La Parka go first, who did his trade mark strut to an okay reaction from the crowd. The Cat then said to hit his music...but his music did not start. Instead, it was Mike Awesome's music. Mike Awesome stormed the ring with a chair and laid out both The Cat and La Parka. Awesome was met with boos as he picked up La Parka and delivered an Awesome Bomb. He then picked up The Cat and gave him the same treatment. Mike Awesome picked up the microphone and said he had sat around in the back long enough, watching people like these two make a joke out of the wrestling ring. He was tired of people like these two getting screen time while he wrestled dark matches and house shows but never got television time. He will not stand for people making a joke out of what his does for a living. This is SERIOUS business and he's a SERIOUS athlete. And if anyone wants to stand in his way...they're going to end up like these two. Match 2: 3 Count (w/Evan Karagias) vs. The Canadian Foundation This was a non-title match that saw the champions dominant the would-be contender's. Moore and Helms to get in some limited offense, but Bret Hart and Test made short work of 3 Count, despite interference from Evan Karagias, who also was taken out by the champions. Bret Hart locked in the Sharpshooter to Helms and made him tap out for the victory. WINNERS - THE CANADIAN FOUNDATION by submission After the match, Bret Hart got on the microphone and proclaimed that there was no team in RWF that could defeat them. There was just simply no one left for them to take on, and perhaps they should just retire the RWF Tag Team Championship due to lack of competition. Some country music hit the PA System, and out came some new additions to RWF - Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine. They ran to the ring with guitars in hand, which sent Hart and Test running for high ground. The fans gave the new team a warm reaction just for simply interrupting the champions' rant. Honky Tonk Man took the microphone and introduced the new teams as Rhythm & Blues and said that if Hart and Test were looking for some competition - the competition just arrived! Dead End for Hogan Backstage in the Evolution suite - Triple H wanted to make sure that Hogan wasn't getting to comfortable with the RWF Championship. Triple H said that Hogan still has never defeated Triple H and that he never actually lost the RWF Championship. Triple H promised that the next RWF Pay-Per-View - Dead End - that he would bring the title back to Evolution, where it always belongs. Speaking of Dead End's A pre-recorded video showed the exterior of a funeral home. Inside the funeral home, Randy Orton and Kane were wheeling a casket, presumably the one containing Edge from Triple Jeopardy? This was apparently recorded after the PPV. Orton regreted that they were unable to give The Undertaker the same fate as Edge...but if Undertaker knows what's best for him - he will stay "disappeared" for a LONG time. Kane simply nodded. Orton said that Edge will be missed...well by someone, he's sure. Orton told the camera that if anyone wants to pay their final respects to Edge, they should tune in next week for his public funeral. "Bring a tissue," he advised. Orton then gave Kane a pat on the shoulder and headed out the door as Kane pushed the casket through a door labled "Incinerator." Umm..okay? Really? Match 3: Buff Bagwell vs. Shawn Michaels Prior to this match, Buff Bagwell came to the ring and took the microphone - basically mocking HBK for failing to win yet another big match. Bagwell then called himself the only 'Sexy Boy' in RWF, before doing his strut and posing to boos from the crowd. Once Michaels got to the ring, he was all business from the opening bell...but once he had Bagwell laid out on the mat, HBK decided to show Bagwell how it's done - mocked Bagwell's strut and then posed himself to a big pop from the crowd. Once Bagwell was back to his feet, HBK continued to mock him...this time by flexing and kissing his bicep. An angry Bagwell charged in to attack HBK. Bagwell's angry flurry gave him the upperhand, and he would eventually lay out HBK with a double underhook DDT. He then took his time climbing to the top turnbuckle. He posed for the crowd on the top turnbuckle, once again receiving loud boos. HBK stumbled to his feet, but then fell across the top rope, causing Bagwell to lose his balance and straddle the turnbuckle! HBK made his way over to the turnbuckle and hit a hurricanrana to Bagwell! Both men were down, but HBK kipped up to his feet first and began to warm up the band. Bagwell stumbled to his feet and walked right into the Sweet Chin Music! HBK made the cover and picked up the victory. WINNER - SHAWN MICHAELS by pinfall The Best in the United States The new United States Champion - CM Punk made his way down to the ring along with Brian Pillman and an American Flag. Punk was dressed to wrestle as his took the microphone and began to talk about winning the United States championship and how much it meant to him - while Pillman waved the flag in the background. But then Punk started to go off track - thinking that in reality, Punk himself is so much bigger than just the United States. Punk is Straight Edge..and Straight Edge is a GLOBAL lifestyle. He himself is GLOBAL Icon. And while some people like Chris Jericho probably see the United States title as something that gives themselves more prestige...Punk says that he brings prestige to this championship. He brings prestige to...AMERICA. This brought out Lex Luger and The Patriot, who seemed to take issue with Punk's backhandedness towards the United States of America. Luger took the microphone and told Punk that it should be an HONOR to represent the United States as it's champion. An honor that Punk should not take lightly. Punk told them both if they had an issue with his views and opinions, then they are more than welcome to step into the ring and fight him. But it could only be one of them and it would be a non-title match. Luger and Patriot talked about it amongst themselves, and apparently played rock, paper, scissors to decide who it would be. The Patriot had rock over Luger's scissors, and as a result...The Patriot would get the opportunity to take on Punk. Match 4: CM Punk (w/Brian Pillman) vs. The Patriot (w/Lex Luger) The Patriot, with the pride of his country behind him, opened up the match like a house of fire - possibly surprising the US Champion. Patriot also had the size and power advantage on Punk, and was using that to take control early on. But some cheap heel tactics gave Punk the advantage right back. But Punk was unable to put Patriot down for a three count, as the patriotic powerhouse kept kicking out of everything Punk had to throw at him. Punk decided to try and put him away - lifting him up for the GTS. But Patriot countered by fighting free and sliding down Punk's back, hitting a back suplex in the process. Patriot re-took control, and began laying the boots to Punk before picking him back up and hitting a few more suplexes from his arsenal. Pillman climbed onto the apron to try and help his leader out, but Luger pulled Pillman off the apron and dropped him with a forearm shiver! Punk tried to fight back, but Patriot ducked a clothesline attempt and hit Punk with the Uncle Slam! Patriot made the cover and picked up the three count victory over the United States champion! WINNER - THE PATRIOT by pinfall After the match, Luger and Patriot celebrated with the American Flag they took from Pillman as Punk and Pillman regrouped up the ramp. The Final Exam Backstage, Chris Kanyon was going over his notes when The Miz walked into the room. The Miz told Kanyon he had great news. He just went to the Evolution locker room and was told NEXT WEEK, Evolution would be naming their fourth member to the group. And Kanyon would have the opportunity to be that fourth member! All he has to do is...defeat Triple H in a one-on-one match! Kanyon seemed nervous, but Miz explained to him that this is the Final Exam. Everything they've prepared for has led up to this. He told Kanyon that he now has all the tools needed to defeat Triple H. He KNOWS he can do it. Next week, all their hard work was going to pay off and Chris Kanyon would get his acceptance into Evolution! MAIN EVENT: Jack Swagger (w/Kurt Angle) vs. Sting Tonight's main event was a rematch from Triple Jeopardy, as Jack Swagger was looking to have a better performance against Sting than he did at the PPV. This time, his partner Kurt Angle was in his corner, so that definitely helped. In fact, it turned out to be the difference in the match. While Sting and Swagger went back and forth early, Angle's prescense allowed Swagger to take control and begin working over Sting for the majority of the match. But Sting, as usual, refused to quit even when locked in the Ankle Lock. Sting made it to the ropes to break up the hold...but Swagger held the hold for all five seconds before referee Earl Hebner broke it up. Hebner pulled Swagger aside to warn him, which allowed Angle to reach through the ropes and hit a cheap sucker punch to the recovering Sting. Swagger went back to work on Sting, but Sting countered his gutwrench powerbomb into a tornado DDT that left both men down! The fans got behind Sting to help him up to his feet first, but just seconds before Swagger. Sting hit a couple of right hands to Swagger. With the crowd cheering him on, Sting was back in control and seemed unstoppable. A pair of Stinger Splashes sent Swagger stumbling and falling to the mat. Sting grabbed Swagger by the leg and pull him to the center of the ring where he locked in the Scorpion Deathlock! Hebner began checking in on Swagger, who was trying to fight it off. Kurt Angle jumped onto the apron, distracting Hebner just as Swagger tapped out. Sting dropped the hold and confronted Angle. The two traded words until it got heated and Sting hit Angle with a right hand, sending him off the apron to the floor...but Swagger had crawled over...and hit a low blow to Sting behind both Sting and Hebner's back...then rolled Sting up! Hebner noticed the pin and made the count as Swagger used a handful of tights for leverage to pick up the three count victory! WINNER - JACK SWAGGER by pinfall Swagger immediately ducked out of the ring to regroup with Angle and celebrate as Sting got back to his feet and argued with Hebner about the low blow and the tights. Angle and Swagger lifted their arms in victory at the top of the ramp while Shiavone reminded us to tune in next week for HOGAN vs. WARRIOR for the RWF Championship! |

RWF PRIME TIME Show 1.17 Tony Shiavone kicked the show off by promising tonight HISTORY WOULD BE MADE - because tonight, Hulk Hogan would defend the RWF Championship against The Ultimate Warrior, RIGHT HERE..LIVE...ON TELEVISION. Also tonight, a the fourth and final member of Evolution would be named - would it be Chris Kanyon? But first - Sting made his way down to the ring to start the show off, dressed in his wrestling gear. Sting was not happy about the way he lost in last week's main event to Jack Swagger. Sting is so sick and tired of having Kurt Angle sneak around and interfere against Sting week after week but still manage to duck a one-on-one match. Sting said it was time to put and end to this, he wants Kurt Angle right here, RIGHT NOW! "Medal" hit the PA System as Kurt Angle answered the call, making his way down to the ring by himself - but not dressed to wrestle. Angle gave Sting the same answer - that he has nothing to prove by facing off against Sting as he has already proven himself better than Sting in every way. "Really?" Sting respond, "You're REALLY going to continue to avoid me?" "It's not avoiding - it's called being better than you," Angle responded slyly with a smirk. Vince Russo made his way out to the stage with a microphone in hand. He said he was actually tired of both of them, and said that in order to get Sting to stop asking for the match....he's going to BOOK the match! At DEAD END - Sting and Kurt Angle will go one-on-one, whether Angle likes it or not. Angle, of course, did not like it. He put up a fight, but Russo was having none of it. Angle finally gave, but had one final demand. If the match is going to happen - he wanted it to happe on HIS terms. Sting said he'd agree to whatever stipulation Angle wanted to throw in because he wants to get his hands on him that bad. Angle said he wanted the match to be a SUBMISSION match. Russo said he had no problems with that if Sting agreed. Sting said it was ON! Angle acted like he never tried to avoid a match and said he was looking forward to seeing the faces on all the little Stingers out there when their hero is TAPPING like a BITCH to the ankle lock! Oh it's True - it's DAMN TRUE! Match 1: Rhythm & Blues vs. The Nation RWF's newest tag team made itself known last week, immediately targeting the RWF Tag Champions - The Canadian Foundation. This week, they made their in ring debut against The Nation. They started off the match on fire, working over Owen Hart to great success. Honky Tonk Man seemed to have Hart reeling, going for his diving fist drop after a scoop slam - but Hart rolled out of the way. Owen was able to make the tag to Faarooq who came in and went toe-to-toe with Honky Tonk Man. HTM held his own in the brawl until Owen Hart snuck a knee to HTM's back when he ran to the ropes. Faarooq took HTM to the mat with a stiff clothesline and with him down, the heels began to double team him off and on to keep him on the mat and cut off from making the fresh tag. However, when Owen Hart went up top for a moonsault, HTM rolled out of the way! Both men were down at it was Honky Tonk Man who made the tag to Greg Valentine. Owen Hart stumbled to his feet and had his chest lit up by some knife edge chops from Valentine. Off the ropes, Valentine almost took Hart's head off with a back elbow smash. After a Bionic elbow that floored Hart, Faarooq came in and attacked Valentine from behind - but Honky Tonk Man recovered to even the odds. HTM and Valentine unloaded a funky dancing punch combination to Faarooq and then clotheslined him over the top rope. Hart was left alone in the ring with the country duo - who lifted Hart up and hit their signature double back suplex HTM left the ring as Valentine made the cover to get the three. WINNERS - RHYTHM & BLUES by pinfall Final Prep Backstage, Chris Kanyon was warming up as The Miz walked in and wanted to know if Kanyon was ready. Kanyon, having gained confidence from The Miz's teachings, was very enthusiastic about his chances tonight against Triple H. Miz wanted to emphasis that nothing means more to Evolution than WINNING. And nothing would impress them more if Kanyon can pull of the victory tonight. So a win tonight would cement Kanyon's spot in Evolution. K Match 2: Doink the Clown vs. Evan Karagias (w/3 Count) Prior to the match, 3 Count performed a concert for the uninterested crowd - but Doink entertained the fans by dancing around ringside to the music. This match barely got under way before Mike Awesome made his way down to the ring. Shannon Moore and Shane Helms were first in his path, and first to meet his onslaught. Helms got tossed into the ring steps while Moore got lifted up across Awesome's shoulder and thrown head first into the ring post. Awesome climbed into the ring and took out Doink the Clown with a clothesline. Karagias leaped off the top rope onto Awesome's back, grabbing him in a sleeper, but Awesome flung Karagias over his head to the mat with ease. Awesome climbed out of the ring and set up a table at ringside before climbing back into the ring. Awesome met Doink with a boot to the midsection and hit him with an Awesome Bomb to the center of the ring. But it would be Evan Karagias who would get the worst of it as Mike Awesome lifted him up and Awesome Bombed him from the ring through the table at ringside! WINNER - NO CONTEST After the match, Mike Awesome once again told us that his attacks would continue as long as joke acts like these were allowed on television. If Russo was watching - he better take note or more casualties would be claimed. Evolution's Prep In their suite, Evolution seemed to not be taking the match with Chris Kanyon as seriously as he was. Triple H, Razor Ramon, and Randy Savage mocked Kanyon and The Miz - especially Kanyon's "who's Better Than Kanyon" catchphrase. Triple H said he was about to go show everyone who's better than Kanyon....EVOLUTION. Match 3: Chris Kanyon (w/The Miz) vs. Triple H (w/Evolution) Kanyon came out with Miz, who was giving him pointers all the way down to the ring and continued coaching him as Triple H made his grand entrance along with Randy Savage and Razor Ramon. Triple H finally entered the ring, as confident as ever while Kanyon approached the center of the ring. Miz stepped out to ringside. Kanyon offered a handshake to Triple H, but HHH slapped his hand away and decked Kanyon with a sucker punch. That cheapshot immediately gave Triple H the advantage in the match that he would hold for a few minutes as he worked Kanyon over from one side of the ring to the next. Miz kept yelling out instructions to Kanyon, and eventually Kanyon began to work his way back into the match as the fans even began to get behind him. Kanyon snuck in a jawbreaker to Triple H and then took HHH off his feet with a spinning heel kick. Kanyon impressed the crowd with some innovative offense to keep Triple H off the mat and was able to secure a few nearfalls, but nothing that kept HHH down for the count. Kanyon lifted HHH up into a backbreacker rack and swung him around into a neckbreaker which seemed to have HHH down, but as Kanyon seemed to be measuring up HHH for the Flatliner - Randy Savage jumped onto the apron! Kanyon was momentarily distracted by Savage, but Miz pulled Savage down off the mat. Triple H recovered and took a swing at Kanyon when he turned around - but Kanyon ducked and hit the Flatliner to HHH! Kanyon made the cover...but referee Nick Patrick was too busy trying to break things up at ringside as The Miz was in a shoving contest with both Savage and Ramon! After a lengty pin - Kanyon got up and grabbed Nick Patrick's attention. Kanyon made the cover once again - One, Two, Thre...Triple H got his shoulder up! Kanyon couldn't believe it - he argued with Nick Patrick as HHH scored a roll up - One, Two, kickout by Kanyon! Triple H continued on the attack and set up Kanyon for the Pedigree...but Kanyon pulled Triple H's legs out from under him with a double leg take down and then catapulted him into the corner. Triple H stumbled out of the corner into a kick to the midsection from Kanyon...who hit Triple H with a Pedigree of his own! Randy Savage and Razor Ramon immediately entered the ring, but Miz did as well to back up Kanyon. The four men had a staredown as Nick Patrick warned all those involved to leave the ring... Savage and Ramon started to leave the ring, and Kanyon started smack talking them as they left...but Miz was still in the ring. And Miz attacked Kanyon from behind! Kanyon hit the mat and Miz started putting boots to him as Savage and Ramon re-entered the ring and joined in. Nick Patrick frantically called for the bell. WINNER - CHRIS KANYON by disqualification Triple H recovered in time to see Miz, Ramon, and Savage pulling a beaten Kanyon to his feet. They tossed him over to HHH who finished Kanyon off with the Pedigree. The four men stood together in the ring, lifting each other's arms in the air. Looks like we have our fourth member of Evolution...THE MIZ. Edge's Funeral After the commercial break, the ring had been set up with a closed casket and flowers around the ring with a large portrait of Edge beside the casket. Randy Orton made his way down to the ring along with Kane by his side. Orton entered the ring and took the microphone. He said that the wrestling world lost a true great at Triple Jeopardy, and that he will truly be missed. Orton then broke down laughing and said it was impossible to keep a straight face. Orton said let's face it, no one is going to miss Edge. In a few weeks, no one will even remember he was ever here. He will have no lasting impact on this sport, while the Age of Orton as truly begun. While no one will know who Edge was - centuries from now, everyone will remember Orton as a god among men in the RWF. Kane opened up the casket and removed an urn. Orton took the urn and said it was time to dispose of Edge once and for all. He's about to head back to the bathroom and flush him down the drain. He always knew Edge would want a burial at sea! Orton couldn't help but laugh, but before they could leave the ring...the lights io the arena shut off. The border around the stage and all the way down the ramp suddenl ignited in flames. Edge's voice was heard through the PA system. "What you thought was dead...was just reborn." In the ring, Orton shoved Kane and asked him what was going on. "From the ashes...The Edge rises." A spotlight shined down onto the stage amidst the flames, Edge was standing - dressed in a long black trench coat, his body literally glowing from the light and the flames. His head stayed down, but the second he looked up to the ring, fire shot out from all four turnbuckles. Orton fell backwards, literally falling over the casket and falling to the mat. "All who stand in his way...will perish." The flames went out just as quickly as they had appeared. The arena was darkened once again. When the lights came back on, Edge was nowhere to be found...and Orton was left kneeling on the mat, in shock and horror at what he had just witnessed. Match 4: Papa Shango (w/Dark Carnival & Kimberly) vs. John Cena The Dark Carnival brought out DDP's wife Kimberly who they had literally kidnapped last week. She was attached to a chain by a collar and was being drug around by Goldust. Cena came out to a decent pop and went straight for Shango, tackling him to the mat and laying in rights and lefts - but had to be pulled off of Shango by referee Charles Robinson. Cena went back on the attack. During the match, Tony Shiavone gave us an update on DDP - who apparently has yet to be released from the hospital...and is unable to do anything about his wife being held captive by The Dark Carnival. Shango took control of Cena, keeping him on the mat with rest holds until Cena fought his way back into the mat and hit a spinout powerbomb that only resulted in a two count. Cena had Shango set up for the FU, but Goldust provided a distraction that allowed Shango to escape and then hit the Voodoo Driver to Cena to pick up the three count victory. WINNER - PAPA SHANGO by pinfall The Pride of America Lex Luger and The Patriot made their way down to the ring with the American Flag in hand, receiving good support from the crowd. Luger took the microphone first and talked about what it meant to be an American and how proud he was to be able to wrestle for America and all these fans. He talked about how CM Punk disgraces the United States Title by promoting himself over the belt that means so much to this country. Punk should be wearing the belt with pride, not talking about he is going to bring prestige to the championship. The Patriot took the microphone next, and talked about how he defeated Punk cleanly last week in a non-title match. Patriot said that it only made sense that he should receive an actual title shot for the United States title. CM Punk appeared on the RandomTRON and said that he would love nothing more than to come out there and wipe the floor with the Patriot - but unfortunately Punk said he was not cleared to wrestle tonight due to tweaking his back last week against The Patriot. However, next week he will be there and it would be his pleasure to embarass him and make HIM a disgrace to the American flag. So it's set - CM Punk will defend the United States Championship NEXT WEEK on Prime Time! MAIN EVENT: The Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan (c) RWF Championship Match In what could easily be a PPV main event - Hogan defended his title against Warrior - the right Warrior earned by defeating Shawn Michaels and Randy Savage at Triple Jeopardy. The two shared a mutual sign of respect to start the match with a handshake. After a lock up, neither man seemed to have the clear advantage. This led to Hogan challenging Warrior to a test of strength, which resulted in both men trading the advantage until Hogan broke free and put Warrior in a headlock. Warrior shoved Hogan off into the ropes and attempted a shoulder block, but Hogan no-sold it and stared Warrior down. The crowd was loving every minute of watching these two powerhouses withstand each other's offense - neither man giving an inch for the other to take advantage. Warrior finally started to get the edge as he worked over Hogan in the corner. A powerslam from Warrior garnered him a very close nearfall, but Hogan was still alive in the match. With the crowd cheering on both men, Hogan battled his way back with rights and lefts to finally getting Warrior staggering. Off the ropes, Hogan went for a clothesline only to have Warrior hit him with a backdrop. Warrior went back on the offensive briefly, but Hogan dropped an axehandle smash across Warrior's back when he attempted to lift him up in the air. Hogan showed off his strength by lifting up Warrior in a high vertical suplex and dropping him to the canvas. Hogan was feeling it as he began to work over Warrior, but he too had trouble putting away the other as Warrior kicked out of multiple pin fall attempts from Hogan. Warrior and Hogan would soon find themselves both on their backs after they hit each other with a double clothesline. Referee Earl Hebner began counting..but as Warrior and Hogan started to recover around the 8 count mark..Evolution - Triple H, Randy Savage, Razor Ramon, and The Miz stormed the ring. They attacked Warrior from behind first as he was the first to his feet. Earl Hebner immediately called for the bell as all four men were putting the boots to The Warrior. WINNER - ULTIMATE WARRIOR by disqualification Hogan recovered and tried to help Warrior out, but the numbers were too much for even Hulkamania. The foursome beat Hogan down to the mat as well. The crowd booed as Razor Ramon laid out Warrior with a Razor's Edge while The Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale to Hogan. Savage climbed to the top turnbuckle and flew off with the Flying Elbow to the fallen Warrior. They picked up Warrior and tossed him out of the ring, leaving the beaten Hogan alone in the ring. Miz and Ramon picked up Hogan and set him up for Triple H...to lay him out with The Pedigree! Triple H stood tall with the rest of Evolution over the fallen bodies of Hogan and Warrior as the show came to a close. Edited by Dubb, Jun 8 2011, 12:33 PM.

I like this Dubb. You don't get much feedback, nobody around here really does, but this is great. +Anytime John Cena loses to Papa Shango, you're doing something right. <_< |
