Apparently Vince uttered the word "shit" accidentally at the Conference Call today. Apparently there was no other significant news, although he refused to give a WWE Network sub number.

Rey Mysterio's contract with WWE was to have expired a few weeks ago but Rey got word that Vince McMahon had renewed it for one year, even though there was no option period for one year in his contract. However, WWE contracts are allowed to be frozen in the event of an injury.

WWE's feeling is that Rey missed so much time during his contract due to injuries that he owes them time. He was renewed through May 2015 on that basis. Rey has a very strong downside so he will make good money whether he's used often on TV or not.

Rey is out of action right now with a hand injury.

Rey is beyond washed up at this point...hopefully this is the last year for him as a WWE wrestler

There are people in WWE who want to hire Christian as a producer/agent when his contract as a wrestler retires. The Wrestling Observer noted that talk within WWE, even before the most recent concussion, is that Christian's in-ring career is expected to be phased down this year.

- WWE is planning on turning Tyson Kidd into a masked wrestler. He's reportedly already had a mask designed by a man who makes Lucha Libre masks. The feeling is that Kidd is a talented wrestler but they've marginalized the Tyson Kidd character for so long that there's nothing they can do with him past the preliminary level.

It's pretty bad when the WWE knows they screwed up someone so bad they can't go back to it...

The Undertaker is still pretty banged up from his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. There is still no indication that Taker won't be back for next year's WrestleMania 31 event.

There are higher-ups in WWE who believe that Vince McMahon didn't make the decision for The Undertaker to lose at the last minute, but simply waited until the last minute to let anyone know. There is still a lot of internal belief that Taker losing was the wrong call.

The only match I want to see Taker fight at WM 31 is Sting. Anyone else is not worth it with the streak gone

I think Christian would make a very good road agent. He's got a ton of experience in the WWE style and has always been good at tellign a story in the ring plus his promo work. I'd still love to see him wrestle more of course (His last little heel run after turning on Bryan was fun) but I think he'd make a great road agent.

I'm totally fine with Kidd working in a mask. He's obviously very solid in the ring but lack a lot of personality. Giving him a colorful mask can help him connect with kids and not need to be as dynamite at promo's, and of course can also double with merchandise sales.

As of this past week, Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Title is not penciled in for SummerSlam, even though it seems like a natural match to make for the biggest show of the summer.

We noted before that Cesaro is a favorite to win the title shot in this year's Money In the Bank ladder match. There was a plan discussed that would have seen Cesaro cash in on Lesnar at SummerSlam, right after Lesnar defeated Bryan for the title, and become the new champion. That plan is said to be off the table for now with Bryan's status up in the air.

That would've been a great way to set Cesaro up as a star but it seems like a waste of him vs Brock if it's happening after Summerslam

There will be a new WWE champion at MITB as Bryan will not be cleared in time.

There's been speculation that Daniel Bryan could make a surprise return and be a last minute addition to the Money In the Bank ladder match later this year.

Word is that Bryan making a surprise return at the pay-per-view is highly unlikely and would mean that WWE is working top-level people in the company in regards to his injury.

Bryan's condition wasn't good a few days ago and he's not healing as quickly as expected.

That would be very weird to strip him of the title only to put him in that match...can't see it happening

There's been some speculation among fans that WWE could pull a swerve in the Money In the Bank ladder match this month with two Superstars each grabbing one of the belts. It's said that is not in the plans and apparently hasn't been discussed.

That would be terrible

We noted before that there are several people within WWE who believe that Bray Wyatt will be a full-on babyface before the end of this year.

The Wrestling Observer noted that it was said by some people close to the business that Wyatt was already a babyface because of how he mentions the city they're in when he comes out and because of how he engages the fans with the singing.

WWE's mentality is that they are just looking to get Wyatt over. WWE never intended for fans to sing along when Wyatt sings "The Whole World In His Hands" and they never intended for it to be a babyface spot. However, it's become a trademark for Wyatt so they aren't looking to take it away from him just to make him more of a heel.

Looking to get him over and having him lose a feud to Cena doesn't go hand in hand WWE

As noted, The Miz has been playing a heel at WWE live events since he came back from shooting The Marine 4. While he hasn't returned to TV yet, he's rumored to return with Ric Flair on next week's RAW from his hometown of Cleveland. Returning with Flair is expected to get him a babyface reaction, especially if it happens in his hometown.

Miz as a face will never work, even with Flair

This screams of 'DVD shill' face run that'll probably end up just getting him booed more. He'd be more likely to get a face reaction by doing his regular heel stuff at this point really.

Vince McMahon is said to be down on Bo Dallas, Adam Rose and Divas Champion Paige. He's known for having a hard time accepting new talent as top stars.

Adam Rose being left off RAW this week is said to be a sign that they are cooling down on him. It doesn't help that Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn has buried Rose backstage and he is said to have a lot of pull.

Another sign is the fact that even though Paige has the Divas title, she hasn't have a lot of character development. Instead, they've been building up Alicia Fox, who Dunn is a huge fan of.

Bo Dallas is still getting pushed on almost every show, so Vince's opinion hasn't really hurt him yet.

An update on WWE's release day...

- Teddy Long was released today because his contract expired. He had been off of TV for some time and most people knew he was going to leave.

- WWE felt that Yoshi Tatsu had "really regressed" in the ring. They tried to find another role for him before his release, including as an NXT ring announcer.

- Creative seemed to simply stop caring about Brodus Clay. That's why they broke up his team with Tensai and did nothing with him. His final appearance was a loss to NXT champion Adrian Neville, which is a sign that there wasn't a plan for him in the future.

- Evan Bourne hasn't wrestled in a long time. He was injured in a car accident after he was already out on a Wellness suspension. He's said to be a victim of bad timing.

- Curt Hawkins and Camacho's releases were said to be the biggest surprises. Camacho was popular in NXT as he had a lot of charisma and was well spoken in his recent appearances. Hawkins had several years on his deal and was considered a "good hand" in the ring, even if he was only used as enhancement talent. He recently opened a school in Long Island, so he likely knew the end was coming. He will probably get a lot of independent work in the Northeast.

- The feeling backstage is that more releases will be coming, but that's always the thought process on a release day.

F4WOnline reports that John Cena is apparently in line to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title at next Sunday's Money In the Bank pay-per-view.

It was previously reported that word from within WWE was that a heel would be leaving Money In the Bank with the title. During Monday's RAW, it appeared they may be grooming Roman Reigns for the title as they had him work his way into the match but that may not be the case as it's likely too soon for Reigns to have a title run.

Can't think of anyone who deserves it more!

I wonder if this will be reflected on Total Divas somehow.

When Daniel Bryan's return to WWE TV was announced last Monday for the Money In the Bank pre-show, the feeling at RAW among some of the wrestlers was that Bryan is no longer seen as someone that officials want to put back in the main event right away. It was said that someone like John Cena, Batista or Triple H wouldn't be brought back on a pre-show in a minimal role.

There's also a feeling within WWE that Bryan's bubble has popped, so to speak. It's also said that there are definitely higher-ups who feel that Bryan got injured when they needed him the most so they're more hesitant to let him run with the ball. Furthermore, there are also people who still bring up how Bryan was scheduled to face Sheamus at WrestleMania XXX at one point until CM Punk quit the company and WWE gave Bryan the push.

From bad to worse. Bryan apparently needs shoulder surgery now.

Someone on EWB mentioned the Arn Anderson comparison.

I really do think Bryan's career is over.
