Player Update:
Justin Howe
Update: Howe Out 8-9 Months: The injury that has kept Justin Howe out of action since 05/15/2019 will keep him out a while longer. Texas Rangers officials made the announcement this afternoon. They said that Howe is expected to miss at least 8-9 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament.

This year Howe has 11 saves with a 0-2 won-lost mark and 3.68 ERA.

Steven Baldwins Offseason
LF Baldwin Selects Boston's $118,500,000 Deal: Team insiders were tight-lipped prior to today's deal that brought 28-year-old left fielder Steven Baldwin to Boston.

Baldwin is considered one of the league's A-list players and certainly will enhance any chances the Red Sox have to win a playoff spot this year.

Baldwin has a lifetime .292 average with 1521 hits, 446 doubles, 60 triples, 135 home runs and 737 RBIs to date.

12/03/2019 Signed a 6-year contract worth a total of $118,500,000 with the Boston Red Sox organization.

Devonta Duncans Offseason

Duncan, Seattle Agree to $110,400,000 Deal: The Mariners pulled out all the stops today to announce the signing of second baseman Devonta Duncan. The 28-year-old is one of the game's preeminent playmakers and has definitely proven why he was such an attractive signing.

The contract is a 6-year deal worth $110,400,000.

Career-to-date Duncan has rung up a .289 average, played in 1141 games and collected 326 doubles, 33 triples and 141 home runs

Justin Howes Off-Season
Star CL Howe Settles on Texas: Fans were generally receptive of a newly announced deal between Justin Howe and Texas, despite lingering doubts about the 28-year-old's character. Many observers think that as long as he keeps his mouth shut, he'll be all right.

In 519 appearances and 547.2 innings, Howe has saved 279 games. His career record is 37-39 with 641 strikeouts. His ERA stands at 2.53.

01/15/2020 Signed a 3-year contract worth a total of $32,400,000 with the Texas Rangers organization.
