Cody William Perkins Offseason 12/04/2025 Athletics Win Sweepstakes for 1B Perkins: Cody William Perkins might be in the twilight of his career, but he is not going to leave the stage before the final act. Today the 34-year-old scribbled his signature on a $18,600,000-a-year deal with the Athletics. Some fans openly questioned the signing, saying they would prefer the club use its resources on younger talent. In his career Perkins has gotten 2487 hits with a .302 batting average, scored 1614 runs, hit 579 home runs and driven in 1655. 12/04/2025 Signed a 2-year contract worth a total of $37,200,000 with the Oakland Athletics organization. Justin Howes Offseason 12/21/2025 $15,600,000 Brings Justin Howe to Los Angeles: Even though they see him as a greedy tongue-wager, Los Angeles fans were nonetheless relieved that Justin Howe inked a deal with the organization today. There's no disputing his talent and there's no doubt that he's worth a pretty penny, although maybe not the $15,600,000 offered to him. Since he came into the league, Howe has 411 saves with a 79-69 record and a 2.61 ERA. 12/21/2025 Signed a 2-year contract worth a total of $15,600,000 with the Los Angeles Angels organization. |
