EBL Commissioner Posts: 14,758 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: May 14, 2010	For a player to be inducted into the EBL Hall of Fame, they must meet this criteria: 1. Have officially retired from EBL; 2. Receive a nomination from the Commissioner; 3. Rank 1st in the Hall of Fame Ballot (or 2nd place in ballot years where two players are inducted.) A player may only be nominated five times before becoming ineligible for future consideration. However, all players, regardless of ballot eligibility, may be selected to the Hall of Fame by the Veterans' Committee. The annual Hall of Fame ballot will consist of a maximum six total nominations each year (the commissioner and co-commissioner may declare a vote be canceled with a consensus decision). Current EBL General Managers will receive one vote per ballot to choose who will be the inductee that year. Beginning in 2053, the Hall of Fame will induct two new members on a three-year rotation. In those years where two Inductees are selected, GM's will have two votes per ballot. Veteran's Committee Every ten seasons (starting in 2050), the EBL Veterans Committee will hold a meeting to elect players, GMs, teams, articles, and other notable moments into the EBL Hall of Fame. The Veterans Committee will have full jurisdiction to induct any person or thread into the Hall of Fame, including players who may no longer be eligible by the annual vote. The Veterans Committee will be comprised of the Commissioner, Asst. Commissioner, and three other GMs chosen by the administration based on seniority, knowledge of the league, and overall participation. The Veterans Committee will elect up to five persons or entities into the Hall of Fame during each meeting. Edited by Mofoticon, Jan 28 2017, 03:17 PM.

EBL Commissioner Posts: 14,758 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: May 14, 2010	Some notable changes 1. Every season is back to 6 nominations, up from 5 2. Only 1 HOF'er is elected each season now, down from 2 3. The EBL Veteran's Committee has been added.

For example: 2053: 2 people get into the HOF (GM's vote for 2 players) 2054: 1 person gets into the HOF (GM's vote for 1 player) 2055: 1 person gets into the HOF (GM's vote for 1 player) 2056: 2 people get into the HOF (GM's vote for 2 players) etc.
