The rules are simple: You pick 2 members out of this list, and the 2 who receive the most votes will be in the HOF. You may choose to give reasons for your voting or not, but please consider all candidates and don't jump to conclusions in voting. You must vote for 2 if you decide to vote. Voting ends Thursday. Thanks!

In addition, an old site is keeping the pages of players who just retired for people to look at more extensively. Irving and Blackshear fit under this category this season.

2029 Nominations

Hassan Whiteside

4th Nomination

Career stats: 13386 rebounds (7th), 4275 blocks (2nd)

The case for Hassan Whiteside: Arguably the best big man defender in EBL history. An underrated rebounder throughout his entire career. Impacted the game and shut down the very best big men on defense.

The case against Hassan Whiteside: Always a horrible offensive player.

Terrence Jones

2nd Nomination

Career stats: 1290 games (11th), 18868 points (40th), 11547 rebounds (16th), 4921 assists (44th), 1479 steals (46th), 1150 blocks (66th), 6919 FGs (45th)

The case for Terrence Jones: The most versatile player in EBL history. Not only could play 5 positions effectively in the same game, but did it at a high level (especially on defense). As the stats show, he did everything at least a little bit good. Very low turnover numbers.

The case against Terrence Jones: Always seemed to struggle more when forced to start. Was a pretty mediocre shooter. Was very injury prone.

Thaddeus Young

2nd Nomination

Career stats: 27422 points (11th), 8156 rebounds (58th), 1890 steals (17th), 10178 FGs (12th), 2133 3s (13th)

The case for Thaddeus Young: Was at one time the best scorer in EBL (despite many current HOF'ers still being in the league). Was a very good defender throughout his whole career. Could score in any way possible. A solid rebounder throughout his career.

The case against Thaddeus Young: Never won a title despite coming close. Was overshadowed by some better players like LeBron and CP3 throughout his career. Wasn't a very good ball handler.

Andrew Bynum

2nd Nomination

Career stats: 1371 games (4th), 20572 points (32nd), 14730 rebounds (3rd), 2393 blocks (17th), 772 double doubles (2nd)

The case for Andrew Bynum: One of the most durable players in EBL history. Consistently averaged a double double every season.

The case against Andrew Bynum: Never was a big scorer. Never won a title. Not a great shot blocker.

Wayne Blackshear

Player page here

Career stats: 1310 games (10th), 27767 points (9th), 9180 rebounds (38th), 5057 assists (42nd), 2292 steals (11th), 10298 FGs (10th), 2310 3s (9th),

The case for Wayne Blackshear: A very consistently great scorer, with 12 straight seasons of 21+ PPG. One of the better rebounding guards in EBL history. Very good handler for a SG. Played great defense throughout his career. Almost always the best player on his team.

The case against Wayne Blackshear: Never won a title. Was a solid shooter, but never great.

Kyrie Irving

Player page here

Career stats: 19366 points (39th), 9246 assists (10th), 2569 steals (6th)

The case for Kyrie Irving: Maybe the most prolific winner in EBL history (4 titles, 2 as the best player). Hard to say he was not the best defensive PG in EBL history. Rarely turned it over, especially later in his career.

The case against Kyrie Irving: Was never an elite offensive player. With only a 15.6/7.5 career average, doesn't have the numbers that say HOF'er.

Current Vote Tally

Kyrie Irving: 11
Hassan Whiteside: 11
Thaddeus Young: 6
Terrence Jones: 5
Wayne Blackshear: 4
Andrew Bynum: 1
