Word comes today from Chris Broussard that Dwight likely won't resign with the Lakers. Look for Houston and Dallas to be the two primary spots he looks at I would think. KG/Piere blockbuster is being talked about with the Nets involving Gerald Wallace and 3 1st rounders, http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--nets-pursuing-trade-for-kevin-garnett--paul-pierce-171213145.html NBA draft is tonight, hearing some Cavs rumors but nothing official as they are confusing everyone about what they want to do. Ultimately, I think they keep the pick and take Noel. Len wouldn't shock me either |

OLA OLADIPO. But seriously, Noel should be the pick <_< I'm personally excited to see how the Sixers fuck up their draft and what gems OKC and SAS pickup. |

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft2013/story/_/id/9424897/2013-nba-draft-espn-magazine-holds-fifth-players-only-mock-draft Like all the player mock drafts, this one is funny. Probably the best part (If you don't have insider) is that Al Horford picks 2 centers so he must really want to be a PF again >_> |

Just got a notification on my phone saying the Celtics have hired Brad Stevens as head coach. It'll be interesting to see if he can make the leap. Link: http://espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/_/id/9448871/brad-stevens-hired-boston-celtics-head-coach |

Shocking hire, but I like the boldness of it. Now it's obvious why Stevens didn't take a higher college job |

I thought I remembered reading that they had a lot more cap... but I think that was with them losing Bogut, so I got confused there. I just read they lost 20 mill in cap and used 12 a year sign Iguodala. I wonder what they do with 8 mill, if they actually have much cap left. And Al Jefferson really doesnt want to win. Yeah sure, you're making 8 mill a year, but you are never sniffing the playoffs ever in a Charlotto uniform. |

Dwight could not look like more of a bitch right now He's making The Decision look good. At least LeBron picked a team and stuck to it :shifty: Edit-and he finally fully commits to Houston. Lakers will have to settle for Wiggins now :ninja: Edited by Mofoticon, Jul 5 2013, 11:38 PM.

The New York Knicks and J.R. Smith agreed to a three-year, $17.95 million agreement and not the widely reported four-year, $24.5 million deal. The contract calls for Smith to make $5.57 million next season and $5.98 million in 2014-15, with a third-year player option at $6.4 million. Smith had two surgeries on Monday, one to repair damage to his patella tendon and another for a teal of the lateral meniscus. Smith may need three to four months of recovery. Best news ever. The Bobcats are no more. Rumors are that the Bobcats will receive league approval to bring back the Charlotte Hornets name to the NBA in 2014. |
