So as anyone who follows WWE news knows, they have no idea what the hell they are going to do when it comes to WrestleMania. I sat down and came up with some matches that seemed to satisfy what I would be ok seeing, and I welcome anyone else to do the same, or even comment and critique. I also put the spoiler warning in the topic title should anything come up in here that may feature news people don't know about. That being said, I am sure most people would appreciate spoiler tags when it comes to breaking news of result spoilers for events that have not aired yet.

So, I know that my fantasy card I came up with is missing some names, and it isn't so much that I couldn't think of matches featuring any of those people. It was more along the lines of I couldn't think of anything logically knowing the current screwed up state of the WWE right now. So here's a few matches, why they should or could happen, and what I'd expect as a result.

Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust
Special Referee - Dusty Rhodes

Why it Happens - Just the simple brothers getting tired of each other turning into a daddy loved you best kind of thing. Cody worked best as a heel anyway, so I'd love this. I included dusty because it would just make the psychology of the match that much sweeter.

The Result - Cody wins. He needs to. He needs to do it in the most assholish way possible.

---

Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker

Why it Happens - This is pretty much needed because it's one match that doesn't need any long term build up at all. The two have a history, and it provides an opponent that lends to the credibility that Undertaker could lose. Maybe Heyman comes out after next PPV and says his client is tired of not getting a fair shot at the title or getting any respect. Because of that he is going to take respect from the one person every single person respects in the Undertaker.

The Result - I'd like to see something similar to the beat down Cena took, but I don't see Undertaker being able to realistically have a match like that. If he can, I say do it and have Lesnar lock in the kimura only for Undertaker to reverse into the Hell's Gate for the win. I am talking a total beat down of Undertaker to the point where even the most devout fan knows Lesnar could just pin the man whenver he wanted to.

---

Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena

Why it Happens - I don't think this needs a lot of explanation unless you aren't aware of what happened at the Rumble. This is probably one of the better ideas of a match I have heard for this years event because it's the established face of the company against a young heel. No matter who wins, Wyatt walks away from the match having elevated his standing.

The Result - I am torn here because I don't really see how John Cena loses a match like this at WrestleMania, and also because the match ending could go a long way towards making both men look good. Have Cena beat the odds like we all expect him to and then have the Wyatt family do the post-match beat down and drag off. Carry the feud on for another month with John Cena being missing and then have the blow-off if you want. Kind of like how they were going to do the Daniel Bryan/Bray Wyatt feud before they decided to cut it short and change their plans.

---

Antonio Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger

Why it Happens - It's pretty clear in recent weeks that the WWE has decided to turn Swagger face and give some more air time, if you will, to Cesaro. What this means for the whole "We the People" act I don't know, but it seems pretty certain these two are going to face off, so why not here.

The Result - Antonio wins. The WWE has a lack of strong heels at the moment, and Cesaro could be exactly what they need. Also with the rumors of certain people possibly not renewing contracts, Antonio would fit that hole nicely.

---

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Alberto del Rio vs. Christian vs. Damien Sandow vs.Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz

Why it Happens - Please for the love of God let this happen. With there only being one title, I don't think we need an entire PPV built around this concept. Put it back at WerstleMania, toss a few guys in there that you know can handle it, and let them go at it.

The Result - I'd say either Rollins or Kingston. For storyline purposes later down the road, Rollins would be excellent, but Kofi could use the bump as well. I think I would prefer Rollins though.

---

United States title and Intercontinental title Unification Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Big E. Langston

Why it Happens - These two have been open to unifying the titles for some time now. The WWE has a lot of talent right now in the mid-card, but many seem to have no direction. While one could make the argument that two mid-card titles mean more for those guys to do, I tend to disagree. With only one mid-card title to compete for this gives meaning to more matches by way of the fact that every single match means more. Yes, an important aspect of this would be the announcers and the company presenting the title in that way, which isn't a given, but a Brodus Clay versus Sin Cara match would mean more if it was presented in a way that every single win means a chance at the title.

The Result - Dean Ambrose via help from Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Big E doesn't seem to have very much going on at the moment, yet another mid-card guy kind of lost in the shuffle. Dean Ambrose is a guy that is featured prominently on TV and is featured in main storylines, which lends itself to building the prestige of the unified titles.

Triple H w/ Kane vs. Roman Reigns

Why it Happens - Essentially, the Shield are tired of being used as puppets by the Authority, and they get no help from them at Elimination Chamber where they lose to the Wyatt's. The next night Triple H calls them out to do something, and they come out, but refuse to get in the ring. The three members of the Shield express their displeasure, reminding Triple H what their original intentions were. This provides a small face turn for the trio and sets this match up over the next few weeks.

The Result - As much as I hate it, Triple H. Reigns is already getting monster attention as far as a push goes. The ending of the match strokes Triple H's massive ego by giving him a win over the big man, but also elevates Reigns in that he was about to win had Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins not turned on him. This match ending solidifies Reigns as a sympathetic face character, stokes Triple H's need to win, and set's up Reigns vs. the Shield down the road as well.

WWE World Heavyweight title Match
Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan

Why it Happens - When it comes down to it, Vince McMahon is not going to let the crowd in Louisianna crap all over the closing match of his biggest PPV event of the year right after he opened the WWE Network. Randy Orton retains the title at Elimination Chamber due to shenanigans. The next night on Raw, there is a contract signing to close the show between Orton and Batista. The crowd, predicatbly, boos the everloving crap out of it until Vince himself comes out, much to the shock of Triple H and Stephanie. Vince straight up tells Hunter that what he has been doing the past few months has not been best for business, pointing out the hate the fans are displaying. Batista chimes in saying he earned his title shot, which Vince agrees with, but there's another man that still has not gotten a fair shot at the title, and that man will at WrestleMania. Vince announces a triple threat match featuring Randy Orton, the Royal Rumble winner Batista, and Daniel Bryan. Show closer with Orton and Batista staring at Daniel Bryan as he leads the crowd in yes chants.

The Result - I don't think the point of bringing in Batista needs to be about putting the title on him. The very fact that he would be in the main event is going to bring in casual folks that recognize the name, and likely get Vince the publicity he wants. Daniel Bryan needs to win this match and the title, period. It does not matter if they turn around and have him lose it at the next event or not. Bryan needs the title win to send the fans home happy and paying their subscription fees.

What I think will happen

Batista vs Orton for the WWE Title

Triple H vs Daniel Bryan

Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker

Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins (possible title on the line here)

Sheamus vs Ryback

The Outlaws defending against multiple teams in some type of match (including the Usos, Dolph/Miz, Woods/RTruth, etc.)

AJ Lee vs Tamina

Kane vs Big Show (possibly Mark Henry as well)

Cody Rhodes vs Goldust

And some type of BR (probably pre-show) including the people not listed (Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro, etc.)

What I hope happens

WWE Title Match: Batista vs Orton vs Bryan

This is making the best out of their own bad decision. Batista is unfortunately locked in the title match already, so he can't get out of it, and it seems very unlikely Orton will lose the title before Wrestlemania. Hopefully it leads to Bryan walking out of WM as the champ and the real face of the WWE, but I'm not getting my hopes up that he will even be in this match.

Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker

This is a great match on paper and will probably be a great one when it happens. Brock vs Taker has been rumored for years and outside of Sting and Cena, Brock is the best possible opponent for Taker at this time.

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt

I love the idea of Cena going against these guys. Wyatts feud vs Bryan really elevated him and I think a feud vs Cena will just continue to do so. He doesn't even need to win, but just being in a WM match vs Cena is worth a lot.

The New Age Outlaws vs The Usos for the Tag titles.

Usos are a very good tag team and the Outlaws putting them over at WM would mean a lot.

Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins

I think this will happen and I also would look forward to it. It'd be very much like the Legacy triple threat a few years ago, with Reigns looking like the star out of the match.

Dolph Ziggler vs Big E. Langston

This could be a potentially good, small WM feud between the ex-teacher and ex-pupil. Ziggler can go back to being heel (which he's best at) and Langston can get the rub at WM.

Cody Rhodes vs Goldust

This is an obvious one and the story is built in already. Goldust is jealous of his younger brothers success, leads to tension, etc.

Triple H vs Kane

I would love to see Kane be a "mole" if you will in the Authority and be the main reason Daniel Bryan is put in the WWE title match, leading to friction and a match with HHH at Wrestlemania. The ending of Raw this week could just be ignored since it was dumb anyway <_<

BR involving the not used stars mentioned already.

Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio in a both wrestlers leave town match :shifty:
