I didn't see the heel turn coming because of Total Divas. Ah well.

Reigns kicking out of that amazing RKO was absolutely terrible and the crowd even booed it

He's already the new Cena

Yes. Randy Orton should have definitely won the match after the RKO. Would have been best for Roman. It's Diesel power kicking out of HBK's superkick at Mania 11 syndrome.

BUT...he definitely passed the test in terms of match quality. It wasn't amazingly great or anything, but it definitely was just fine and I enjoyed it for the most part.

It would've been awesome for Brock to have won that match with the F-5 after 30 seconds

Would've put Brock over even more as unstoppable

I would have been perfectly ok with the main event ending in 30 seconds. That would have absolutely been amazing. As it was the match served it's purpose and did it very well.

I'm sorry, but that match was boring as hell to watch.

Cena has not been booked to look like this in a long time, if ever. It works perfectly and whoever beats Brock for the title is made for life. There is really no reason for a Brock-Cena rematch at NOC now.

I disagree. I think booking Brock to manhandle Cena like that was the best way they couldve gone. Brock looks like the most dominant and unbeatable champion of all time right now.

I am fine with the idea of making Brock dominate Cena and squash in. But it's not like Lesnar couldn't have used a couple different moves to do it. I'm sorry but anyone doing the same move 16 times almost in a row in a match is just boring when you can make the same if not better an impact by having Brock decimate Cena with a variety of moves. It's not like Lesnar doesn't know anything else. I do think the 30 seconds and over would have been fine as well and it would have had an even bigger impact.

Reigns vs. Orton was a lot like RDT said, Diesel power rehashed. I swear I do want to like Reigns, but the match felt like a Raw Main Event (In a bad way). As was said, even the crowd was starting to turn a little after the RKO kick out and seemed very hyped about the potential Punt. My friend who doesn't watch wrestling actually asked if Orton was more of a tweener because of how much he was cheered which is really not something that's happened in awhile.

I thought Steph vs. Brie was pretty well booked and done considering the talent involved. The crowd was pretty into it, the heel turn wasn't shocking but it was well done and I might have enjoyed it the most of the last 3 matches.

Wyatt vs. Jericho was pretty solid. I think it was about as good as I expected and hopefully helped establish Wyatt a bit better. I'm still meh on his singing though. Considering it went on after the Lumberjack match it did pretty well.

On non-Main Event news Ambrose and Rollins had probably the best match of the night in terms of quality and crowd reaction. They made the best use ever of Lumberjacks and by the end Ambrose had far and away the loudest cheers of the night. It's kind of a shame he's going to be gone for a couple weeks filming and not be able to build off his match.

Flag match was solid but did disappoint me a little. I guess I've come to expect better after Rusev's matches with Big E and Swagger's work, but it certainly wasn't awful or anything.

Divas title match was solid and had some good spots. Paige throwing AJ onto the barricade was cool and having her go over clean was good to see as well.

Opener is good eventhough I am a little disappointed Miz dropped the title. It was still a good match though and the crowd was pretty good for it.

Overall it was a pretty good Summerslam, but I was a little underwhelemed by the last two matches.

I see what you are saying about the Brock/Cena match, but the same reasons you didn't like it all that much are the exact same reasons I loved it. Brock completely manhandled Cena. That was the "story" of the match. He didn't need to bust out a flashy move set or a moveset at all. He just kept constantly hitting Cena with Germans. The entire match not only served to show Lesnar as an unstoppable monster that ruthlessly German suplexed Cena 16 times, but it was also meant to gain sympathy from Cena fans. It was supposed to be ugly and brutal. No one with a heart walks away from a public execution entertained by what they just saw.

I didn't find it 'brutal' at all to be perfectly honest. A German Suplex isn't some crazy dangerous looking move to a casual fan and a majority of them were basically Cena jumping backwards and landing on his back. It got boring as you should expect from any wrestler doing any move over and over again in the same match. It wasn't some ugly beatdown. In fact if they had just done an equally one sided version of the Extreme Rules match I think it could have been equally impactful and far more entertaining to watch. Ugly/Brutal and Boring are two different things and outside of maybe one or two spots, it got boring pretty fast.
