So do you guys and girls have some tips for dealing with cats? My cat (whom I would like to call Leo) keeps biting our hands and I wanted to see if there was a way to help him grow out of this.

Try putting something on your hands that he does not like. eg: pepper powder or similar. It might work or talk to your vet. Take care /\=/\

Okay, the first question to ask is WHY is he biting your hands?

My first suggestion is that he's overstimulated and needs to play. Get toys of various types and see what he likes the most.

Also, watch My Cat from Hell. You might find a lot there for understanding cat behavior.

There's so many reasons. Some are playful, especially if kicking with back legs are involved, others are less playful, e.g. breaking the skin or hissing beforehand. It could be that your car is playing and sometimes giving a sudden noise and then exiting the room can work. I know it's a technique mostly used for dogs but it tells your cat that it hurt and that behaviour makes you not want to spend time around it.
