If you love the Manga, then I recommend you watch the Anime aswell. The artwork in the Anime is not as lovely as the Manga, but the story is more extended with more cards and they have included a new character. I can't remember when was my last time I've read the manga. My brother brought the whole manga series published by Tokyopop about 6 years ago and he was lucky enough to get the Master of the Clow story arc in 1st press, so he got a bookmark and the first/last pages in colour. He also got the re-print versions and the older orginal versions of the 1st story arc in 1st press. The older versions are crappy, so we might sell those soon. I recently brought the whole Japanese manga series from YahooJapan Auctions for £5 (bargin! and yes it is an official authentic product) I really wanted the official Japanese mangas because fristly the quality is much better in terms of paper and print and secondly the Tokyopop version resized the pages and besides, the translations in Tokyopop are poor! I also wanted the re-print manga versions released in March 2004 in Japan because the covers are hardback & really pretty and they feature some beautiful colour pages unlike the other versions. These re-print mangas costs approx £4 each and I maybe going a little over the top wanting to get all the Cardcaptor manga versions, but anyway at least they are cheap and affordable. You can see the Japanese covers on Amazon.co.jp (they also have Bilingual (spelling?) versions of the Manga too!) http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=sr_pg_1/503-...3A465610&page=1 |
