Well, I have started watching Fruits Basket, so Chinese zodiacs interests me atm XD. The Chinese animal signs are a 12-year cycle used for dating the years. They represent a cyclical concept of time, rather than the Western linear concept of time. The Chinese Lunar Calendar is based on the cycles of the moon, and is constructed in a different fashion than the Western solar calendar. In the Chinese calendar, the beginning of the year falls somewhere between late January and early February. The Chinese have adopted the Western calendar since 1911, but the lunar calendar is still used for festive occasions such as the Chinese New Year. lol When I saw the topic title I thought '' Fruits Basket '' straight away. XD Then I would be Kagura, which suits me fine cuz I love cats and Kyo is my fave furuba character. lol ( but I don't make a habit of throwing people through paper walls at a million miles an hour! Haha! ) |

I was born under the year of the rat, the animal that cheated in the race in the story of the Chinese Zodiac race. People born under the year of the rat are said to honest and friendly, but then again quick tempered (thats kinda like me lol) In terms of Fruits Baskets, I will be Yuki expect I don't always fight with a cat and always win
