The J-music section has gone quite lately so I thought I'll start a topic.

I am not sure how many people have heard of ANZA, but she became famous in Japan since 1992 as a J-pop artist and throughout her fame she sung songs for Anime and games, preformed in musicals and plays, host a radio and most recently joined a metal band called Head Phone President

Anyway here are some songs of ANZA's which I uploaded for you on MegaUpload and some videos which I found on YouTube. It took me ages to upload so I hope you enjoy

Anime Songs
ANZA's first Anime song was called Tobira wo Akete which translates as "Opening the doors" for the widely known Anime called Cardcaptor Sakura back in 1998. It was the 2nd opening theme tune for the 2nd season.

Another thing is that if you buy the Tobira wo Akete single you get a bonus song by ANZA called Mienai Chikyuu (I hope I have splet it correctly) which you can't get anywhere else. I think it means seeing the earth or looking around the earth. I also notice that this song was used in Cardcaptor Sakura episode 68.

In 2006 ANZA sung the ending theme for the Anime called Glass no Kantai and the song is called Kanta e. This is definitely one of my favourite songs from ANZA's, it's a very beautiful ballad. I have also watched abit of Glass no Kantai on YouTube, but I got abit bored and I think it maybe because no subs so I hardly understand what was going on.

Heres a bonus for you. I have got the Kanta e CD single and it features a song called Tsubasa which can only be found on the CD, it's not found on YouTube or anywhere else. If you love Kanta e, then you'll love this song.

TV Show songs
Released a solo single entitled Dream which was also used for the ED theme of a TV show called Famitsu WAVE. The song is great and I love it. Unfortunately I don't have the CD or can't find the song anywhere, but I'll put it on here when I eventually find the song or buy the CD.

Head Phones President
This is ANZA's new metal band. The music is different from her past works and I must say it's not my type.

Musicals
One of ANZA's most widely known role in the musicals is Sailor Moon, I'm not going to say much about this, but you should check out her some of her performances especially when she sings Knockin' Down Hesitation, she sings it so well and yet she has loads of energy to dance.

Download the Knockin Down hesitation (Sorry I don't have the full version of this song)

Two lovely ballads sung by ANZA in the Sailor Moon musicals
Tabidachi performance (poor ANZA was sort of crying because it was her last Sailor Moon musical)

Gondola no Koibito-tachi & I miss you performance

Other musicals which ANZA's made her appearance is Aoi Shima, Les Miserables and Miss Saigon. I did saw some videos of the musicals on YouTube but I forgotten which ones had ANZA on them and right now I'm too lazy to search, but when i find those videos I'll post them here. I also can't be bothered to write about ANZA's TV, plays and Radio history since I have very little knowlegde of those roles of ANZA, but I'll add once I find the info.
