Yep, I have seen the Anime, but only up to episode 4. The original name is Saikino isn't it??? (probably might have spelt it wrong)

The anime itself is kinda emotional, Chise is a really sweet, yet clumsy girl but I feel really sorry for her. When I first saw the cover of the DVD, I thought Chise would be a great idea for cosplay because hardly anyone has done her before with the weaponary attached to her arms and metal wings on her back.

Yep, the original title is Saikano ^^

And yes I thought the same thing when I first watched it.
A Chise cosplay would be brilliant and certainly an original one, too.

Really sorry for bumping an old topic, but I really wanted to buy the Saikino DVD boxset and I couldn't find it anywhere. It must be an R2 DVD and contain subtitles.

I saw the boxset at the Midlands Expo in Sept for £20 and I'm so regret that I never brought it at that time :(

Bumping is fine, when it's for a good reason like this, so no worries ^^

Looks like this is another series I'll have to check out. I googled it, and I really love the picture results I got! (yes, the art style has a lot to say for me when deciding on what to watch :P)

Will keep an eye out for it

Thanks for keeping a look out for me, but it's okay now since I have finally found it

I found it in Coventry's HMV for only £20, so I grabbed it straight away and didn't want to let go lol. I also saw the boxset at Coventry's Forbidden Planet, but it costs £44.99 and I never had that much money, but at least I got it now and that all that matters. *Sigh* Why does Coventry usually have everything I'm looking for even though it's a small city with not much Amine, Manga and games???
