Seeing as we already have the Death Note anime thread, does anyone think it would be a good idea to turn this one into an '' end of series discussion '' topic? It's kinda difficult to talk about this series without being spoilerific and I kinda want to discuss it all now that I've finished it. |

Haha, having also finished it, I am inclined to agree Tsuchi-chan, very well, we can discuss all the DN manga (no anime) in this thread and so will likely contain spoilers, I will edit the title to warn others. Well, who wants to start? |

Okay then, the spoilers start here... ............ really, turn back now ! Well, after having a look at Wiki it gives you a little of the information that is in Death Note 13: How to Read ( which I have, but can't read because it's in Japanese ). So that girl in the robes on the last page? No, it wasn't Misa. It was a random Kira follower. Misa is said to have commited suicide a year after the events at the Yellow Box warehouse. |

Just got Death Note 13: How to Read and also I got the Death Note novel, the Los Angeles BB Murder Case (it's a prequel, starring L and Raye Penbar's fiancée whose name I've sadly forgotten!) Both are awesome! |

lol It's Naomi Misora. I bought the prequel novel last week and finished reading it in 2 or 3 nights ^^'' It has a slower pace than the original Death Note series because it's more about solving the clues at each of the 3 murder scenes rather than 2 people trying not to slip up by playing head-to-head cat and mouse games. The ending was great ( even though I ran into a spoiler beforehand ¬_¬ ). Without saying what happens I've just gotta say that the final scene made me laugh! :lol: And I did buy How to Read as well. I actually already had a copy of the Japanese version, but now I've finally been able to read the pilot manga that's in it. The book's a little bigger than the Japanese one, as well. |
