One of the more popular shows at the moment is Heroes, running on NBC every Monday from 9-10 EST. All around the world, there are people with super abilities who are discovering their powers as the show progresses. An invincible cheerleader, an artist who paints what will happen in the future, and a time-stopping Japanese inhabitant, as well as some others, come to realise their potential and, more importantly, that there will be a time coming where they will have to save the world. Definitely worth the watch, but a warning to you guys that it is eerily similar to some of the more common comics we have heard of. If you don’t mind that, it should be an interesting show if you have some time on Monday nights. |

I've heard good things about this series. Haven't had the time to sit down and watch it yet, but from what I've seen it does look like it's worth watching. |

I have as well, but I don't have the attention span for it at the moment, so I have yet to actually watch it. -- Another show that is actually in its first season right now on ABC Family is Greek. Basically, this is a show about fitting in with the college crowd, getting into fraternities, and so forth. Obviously, just by those few words, you can pretty much guess what the show is about and so far as it seems right now, there isn't too thick of a plotline to this one. Of course, I could be mistaken, so you will just have to see for yourself and find out I suppose. You can watch Greek on ABC Family at 9:00 EST on Monday nights. |

Okay, this one is actually interesting, funny, and absorbing: The Closer on TNT, starring Kyra Sedwick. This really isn't your typical "Law & Order" gig, going beyond the courtroom into the actual interrogation. Sedwick plays an interrogator/investigator that has a knack for getting criminals to admit to the crimes they are responsible for committing. Some of the show is also dedicated to what is going on outside of her workplace, seeing as it affects that aspect, but this fits in well with the overall plot of each show. Basically, if you want to laugh and be intrigued on the edge of your seat at the same time, this is a good show for it. The show just entered its third season in mid-June. You can see The Closer on Monday nights at 9.00 EST on TNT. |

Holly Hunter, Kenny Johnson, Bailey Chase, Laura San Giacomon, Leon Rippy, and Bokeem Woodbine star in Saving Grace on TNT at 10.00 EST on Monday nights. A police officer, who is an absolute wreck after a great deal of loss and confusion in her daily life. Though, with some help from friends and her personalised guardian angel, she attempts to get her life back on track and make a better life for herself. I haven't yet seen this show, so I am sorry but I don't have a lot of information on it at the moment other than the general plotline and characters. If anyone else does, please post what you know^^ You can watch Saving Grace on TNT, Monday nights at 10.00 EST. *NOTE: this show is rated mature, and is not suitable for younger children* |

It has finally happened: I have found a British show to report on!
Robin Hood is in the process of filming its second season now, and the first has been released onto DVD and is available to view on Youtube/Veoh. The history of Robin Hood is fairly well known, whether you have seen the old Errol Flynn movie, the Disney rendition, and so on and so forth. Robin leaves for the Crusades of old and when he returns, he finds that the Sheriff of Nottingham is oppressing the country. Basically, the show follows the legend from there, with a few entertaining twists and turns along the way. The show stars Jonas Armstrong, Lucy Griffiths, Keith Allen, Richard Armitage, and Gordon Kennedy. You can search for Robin Hood on the web or purchase the DVD box set of season one now. Season two is airing in Britain in October of this year, but I will post definite dates when I see them. If anyone has any information about these, please tell me or post here^^ |
