Ok, I started my knowledge of Hellsing by watching the animé series... BIG MISTAKE! The animé is made to be TOO MUCH about Seras Victoria and makes it seem like the series is more about her quest to not drink human blood than it is about vampires kicking the living daylights out of other vampires. And Alucard being awesome of course LOL It also departs from the storyline of the manga as they wanted to make it a short affair ¬_¬ The manga was my next stop and it is so much better than the animé! What made it even better was when I was told there was an OVA that basically told the story of the manga but in HIGH QUALITY animation, like animé movie quality. So I gave it a try and it is now right at the top of my favourite animé series' of all time. Forget the animé and watch the OVA! OVA Four has only just been released in Japan and if you're lucky enough to find somewhere to get your hands on it, DO IT! I had never even seen Rip Van Winkle before because she was cut out of the animé and I wasn't that far in tha manga. But I've got to say that the OVA is fantastic. So...what are you waiting for!? It's the manga storyline with above-average animation and it's the same VAs from the animé series. The first three are out dubbed, but the fourth is only subbed so far. I watched them all subbed first but then I liked Crispin Freeman as Alucard so I tried in Dub as well and it's relatively good for a dub! And what is wrong about an anime that's about Alucard being awesome? LOL That said, I'm really glad they desided to make a new version that follows the manga more closely, as the manga is so much better! (Kohta Hirano needs to hurry up and get the next volumes done! <_< ) And I really can't wait to start watching it! Just have a couple of other series I need to complete first... Nono, I meant that the animé WASN'T about Alucard's awesomeness, but was instead about Seras and her unwillingness to drink blood. There wasn't enough Alucard in the Hellsing Animé TBH, but the OVA is amazing. It's got BETTER than movie-quality animation as far as I'm concerned and the storyline is so much better. Gaius: I think we're going slightly off topic now XD that belongs in the manga area ^^ But to answer you question, I haven't started any new series in a while. Have to complete some of the ones i've started first lol sjbonnar: oh right! my bad! :ph43r: lol Well, if the storyline follows the manga, it's GOT to be better! THe computer would be fine I've got OVA 1-3 in English Dubbed and OVA 1-4 in Subtitles. Both are good, I actually LIKE the dubs for a change LOL Download it! Veoh is great for that kind of thing	Posts: 108 Group: Denizens Member #71 Joined: March 4, 2008
