Okay, so this is a bit more focused on the UK and people in America that get BBC America, but... Seriously, what did you think of the last series of both show? And the last two episodes of Doctor Who? I am a huge fan (even cosplayed as Rose Tyler one year. Don't recommend it. East end accents are awful to get right, and I didn't!!) of both, but the last series of Doctor Who, excluding the last two episodes, but including the ending of the last episode, has been mediocre in my eyes. Torchwood, however, managed to pull everything out...and unfortunately laden it so heavily with angst that Joss Whedon should consider suing them. And despite all that...have 'em on DVD and adore them  What's your opinion?

I've watched most of Torchwood, but I still need to catch up on the last few episodes. I would have watched more of Doctor Who, but it was always on when I was at work >,< But since I started my new job I've been able to watch a few more eps, and I did quite enjoy the final episode. |

Well I know that TV was making a big deal about whether he'd regenerate and if we'd get a new doctor or not, but I chose to watch it anyway. I didn't mind so much with Doctor Who since I've missed so much of it and have just been watching whichever episodes I happen to catch when they're on, but I'm definitely avoiding spoilers on Torchwood since I've been watching that from the start. ( I still missed the start of the ep. so I can't actually remember what they said about Torchwood, though I know Jack was there. XD ). I actually like Torchwood the best out of the two series.

| I love both series, I got into Torchwood actually from itunes. I love Doctor Who always have. I have some of the original campier versions on VHS. I love David Tennant as the Doctor and I am really hoping they have him regenerate after the break. I had heard that it was he who wanted the break not the producers but that they were willing to wait for the bit of time that he wanted. Hopefully he will be back as the Doctor soon. |
