I've been trying to learn Japanese over the last four or so years on my own, so, like Femore, I only know enough to get in/keep myself out of trouble. I know how to curse in French (one word), Polish (one phrase) and Japanese (a boatload of cursing). Otherwise, I don't know much in any foreign languages, except my boyfriend is trying to teach me German while I'm trying to teach myself Japanese... v.vV This is going to take a while...
