Also, I only beat Wattson once with my Grass starter. Wattson is cake with a Fire starter, and, once Combusken gets Double Kick it is a very good starter until the very end, where you need an electric type or bust. I don't always start with Mudkip, I just think its a good well-rounded choice. I started with Treecko first. Then Mudkip for a while. Then Torchic. Torchic was really hard to work with, but it made the second gym 10 times easier with Peck...
