Poké Ranger Posts: 241 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: June 3, 2007	I miss this thing. Tried to play my Gold on Sunday just to see how far I'd go. Rediscovered the fun that is Cyndaquil-evolving-at-level-fourteen, beating down little Pidgeys with a Metapod, beating up Pokemon period with Spearow (FUN!), getting kicked ten feet away by an irritated window-spying rival, catching a Mareep and running around shocking the fishers on the way to Azalea from Violet, and I got all the way to Goldenrod before deciding to just turn the thing off because I didn't feel like facing Whitney if I couldn't save. And one of my favorite parts of G/S/C (admittedly I've never had a Crystal) was having a Typhlosion use Thunderpunch. Pity the elemental punches aren't TMs any more. Good times. Though one annoying part was once, I found a shiny Pidgey on the way to Mr. Pokémon's house. As in, before they give you any Pokéballs. Stupid Pidgey. I like the shiny Pidgey line for some strange reason.
