So I've just read the latest chapter of DW, and wrote a rather extensive review, but then of course, one little mistake with the backspace key and you go to a completely different page, losing everything! Still, maybe it's better I put it here, more likely for Wrath to read it... To summarise: * There was always a chance you'd break-up, so if you weren't willing to keep writing Nick in that event you shouldn't have included him in the first place. I got over the person Melanie is based on a long time ago, but I never even considered removing the planned relationship between Jack and Melanie, because that would just completely screw up what has been shown of them so far. * As far as DW is concerned, this is completely out of the blue, Nick has never shown any of the behaviour described. Even in this very episode, Nick was still shown as a nice guy. * I completely sympathise with Nick and think Aly came off awfully there, in her own chapter. She breaks up with Nick because he misses his family and his home, and then later bitches about him. And Nick still clearly has feelings for her, based on his actions throughout the episode. * Too short. Could have been made longer by including adequate reasoning for the break-up, and exposition on the behaviour Nick is said to have portrayed. * Why did Miss Suzuki back Aly up? She's certainly never seen Nick the way Aly described him. * Where did this sudden relationship between Aly & Sentro come from!? That seriously came from nowhere... * You shouldn't assume people have heard what you're talking about unless it's related to the series you're writing about is based on (for example, in Doctor Who last summer, it was ok for them to assume people had heard of the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood). I've never heard of Pitch Black, and so had no idea what those monsters were supposed to look like, since the only description given was that they're like the monsters from that film. * What the hell was that Minun all about!? That just made no sense at all... * Sentro was called Ash way too much, he'd have protested about that. * I would never agree to watching a horror movie if I didn't have to. I hate horror, it's disgusting, pointless gore. I like comedies, rom-coms, sci-fi, that sort of thing. And occasionally action-adventure. * All that explanation of how our base Pokémon learn the attacks we used? Unneccesary and annoying. * I don't obsess over puns. I just love "Ranger than Fiction". I'd join too, but I don't know what Ranger I'd be, and anyway, there's a very good chance I may not ever get the inspiration I need to write Sinnoh again. |

But then, what will actually happen to Dimension Warriors when Mimi Tachikawa isn't in the Poké Ranger society anymore? Is it still goin to continue, but with another author taking her place (in writing the fics, not in the story)? |

We discussed this way back. I suggested we just scrap the episode guide and just have us DW writers post chapters whenever we had them finished. Not sure what happened to that idea...and indeed I'm not sure what will happen next...but bear in mind other than you, Yankee, and apparently, for this rewrite, Wrath, I don't think anybody else is still writing...well, yeah, maybe Darth a little bit, but... But yeah, I'm hiatus (and if I find out that I don't have enough time when I go to Uni then I will be officially cancelling the series), Sentro's officially discontinued his Rangers writing, and Mimi & Starfighter just sort of fell off the map a bit...Starfighter never really showed up much round here, and whilst his last update was only a few months back, I don't think he's been heard from since...Mimi, meanwhile, used to be here from time to time, dropped off the radar, posted a comment once when we were wondering where she was, and didn't come here again after that. She hasn't updated Angels in over a year, but she does still seem to be writing, her last update was a month ago, so I think it's safe to assume she's abandoned us. |

Well, Mimi was thinking of redoing Angels. Now, note! I never said yes or any response because then it screws up Starfighter's story. I'm working on Chapter 20 of it, but I am not done yet because I have been... lamenting for the future. |

Oh, let's face it, Starfighter screwed up his own story... That said, you kinda did the same to yourself, Yankee, by having such insanely early crossovers...of course, you later explained that whichever teams inexplicably soon disbanded (didn't explain what happened to their enemies though...), essentially making half a dozen groups of Rangers only canon within your fic... |

I'm glad I haven't officially done early crossovers, but losing track of Poke Rangers canon is a failing on my part. I'm going to try and get Sonora up and running again (slight changes in who will become a Ranger and finishing the backstory will help because some of the characters aren't even worked in yet as to how everyone knows them). I've got SOME ideas, but, not enough to actually write anything on at the moment. |

Just had a thought, if anybody wanted to do a crossover with this, a good title could be "Six Rangers in Search of an Author". Of course, that would work better in the other fic (so, for example, I believe this would work as a couple of episodes of Turbo, I think that has six Rangers. It would have worked in Johto and Neo, though not seven-Rangered Dino Force), assuming that team has six Rangers, though it could work otherwise. |

Hmm... that could be good for Turbo. But, I would have to see how it would happen. Anyway, I have inspiration and it should be up today if not Sunday, and it's about Frank's identity crisis. Especially, when there is a hitman in search of him and such... lol. |
