Nintendo have outdone themselves...I mean, I'm sure they have, but I can't remember the last time they screwed Europe over this badly... They've removed the ability to play games in the Veilstone game corner. Oh, the game corner's still there, you still buy coins for the same price, and prizes still cost the same, but you can't play the game. Instead, when you tap a at a machine, it says "It's a game machine!" and occasionally gives you 5-20 coins, that someone else supposedly left by accident. I mean, what the hell!? Supposedly this is because of the gambling thing - as if we haven't been exposed to gambling for a decade anyway! I'd have been fine with them removing it, just adding a shop to buy the TMs or something, but no, now we have to buy millions of pokédollars worth of coins for a single TM...how am I meant to get the elemental beams now!? |

I don't play the slots in any of the games, anyway. Too risky for my taste. Waiting for the manager of my work to call so I can find out when I start. Attempting to plan out a way to distract my friend from something that'll bug him on Friday (his birthday). |

I was at a toystore today where they have gotten the new Transformers toyline based on the upcoming movie. They had the leader toys Optimus Prime and Megatron and you can push a lever/button that lets them say something. They should be saying "I'm [their name]". While Megatron laughs afterwards. But it seems like they cut off the I'm part on the European versions for some economical reasons. Was the reasons that the Animated Leader class toys was sold poorly due to them speaking a language that the kids in other European countries? Anyway, it's really silly. |

Incidentally, the song Hallelujah was the winner's song for last years X Factor. The series was won, and thus the single released, by Alexandra Burke. As always it was the Christmas number one. Either way, it's a great song. Indeed, all of the songs on the original Shrek soundtrack are awesome (and indeed, most of the songs in all three Shrek films were great). |
