Finished DF's next chapter. I'll put it up later today... EDIT: So it's all up now. Yay! Basically I left the Villains guide for the last few chapter because I knew I had to put Foster in for Silent Kyle, but I wasn't sure if I was keeping him on as a general or not. Now that I am sure, I can go and put up all of them for the last three chapters. |

Not quite there yet, I'm on about page 8 for DF and page 6 for OO. Now don't think I've deliberately got my own one further along, I wrote a bit of it first, because as soon as they got to the point where events started overlapping I started writing them well and truly simultaneously, doing half a page or so on one, then switching to the other. Not to mention how in DF I've got one chunk that's simply copied from OO, as well as having the theme song in that, because it's saved on my laptop but PROO's obviously isn't. Just gonna say it now so there should be no reason for it not to happen when it comes out, but you should read PROO's chapter first! PROO's chapter (which I've titled "A Prom is a Promise", if anyone's interested) could very easily work as a standalone chapter (although one or two things might have had an audience going, "Wait, but...huh." Whereas DF...well yes, it does explain everything really, but it makes more sense if you've read OO. Plus it majorly spoils OOs plot, and I don't think you'd enjoy it as much if you've already read DF. Plus the cold opening in DF is taken from something like page 5 of OO! Anyway...howdy. |

I bring good news! Chapter 33 of Overtech Overdrive is just about ready to roll! I've just got to write two or three more sentences, and that's it. Same with Dino Force! So I'll send Yankee this chapter and wait until he's put it up until I put mine up, because like I've said, the PROO chapter more or less makes sense by itself, only there'd be a few plotholes, which are then explained in PRDF. DF really doesn't make much sense if you haven't read PROO, and also, really rather spoils PROO for you. Like I've said in the chapters, it's like watching Back to the Future II before watching the first one, it would spoil it for you. All in all, three characters have lines in both chapters (well four really, but that line is nothing), one actually in fact a DF character. And that's only if you don't count the cold opening (i.e. the bit before the theme song) in DF, which is in fact copied from the middle of PROO. Edited by Psyduck Ranger, May 30 2008, 09:10 AM.

Well I'm waiting for Yankee to accept the connection establishment thingy. Once he's done that, probably in the morning I can send him the chapter, then when he's on at some point tomorrow, he can update it. I've putin all those scene-cutting lines, so unless he wants to edit it at all, maybe put in some author's notes (although I've already included my own), all he needs to do is put in the theme song and then he can post it. Technically I could have done that myself, but I'm not exactly sure how Yankee wants to set it out. I know how I've got my theme song set up to credit Yankee for PROO's contributions to it, but yeah... |

Bah, I've put it up aready. JUST MAKE SURE YOU READ YANKEE'S 33 FIRST! And I do hope people comment on the title. I thought that was a rather brilliant pun...because not only is it a pun on something obvious, but it's also pretty descriptive of the chapter...just read them! Also, I've already gotten really far with chapter 16. But that's partly because I already had a couple of pages from the original draft of "Foster's Choice" (basically, everything you'll see in the Fallarbor mines before the villains show up already existed). Also, it's because once again I've come up with an additional subplot on the spot for emotional impact. That's going to drastically change the chapter, but I think ultimately improve it, as well as make it much longer...but yeah, it won't be what I originally intended... |
