Now, even though half the year is gone, we have to think and wonder now, what's next? Well, the 2nd annual Poke Rangers awards are coming, are you ready? Who will you nominate? Especially now, with new categories, such as: Best Chapter/Episode: Best Morphing Devices: Best Hideouts: Here are some guidelines that way we all know what's happening: *All fics that are being updated in 2007 will be in the awards *Anything from 2006 last year that won could win again, as long as they were in the story through 2007. For example, Eddie Barinholtz was in 2106 aka 2006 last year when Psyduck wrote it, if I don't get to the movie for him to become the Gold Ranger, he isn't going to be in the awards More guidelines will be updated, when will the nominations be? I'm trying to pick a date off the calender. |

Isn't it about time we got round to nominating and stuff? What tim did it start last year? Also, I know that's how the big award thingies do it, but doesn't it make more sense for this to be the 2007 awards? Awarding everything that's happened in 2007? |

Once again, this is the category list: Best Male Ranger: Best Female Ranger: Best Comedic Ranger: Best Leader: Best Intelligent Ranger: Best Supporting Ranger: Best Villain: Best Megazord Combination: Best Morphing Sequence: Best Plot Twist: (questionable, in a single or multiple episode sequence) Best Concept Design: (also questionable, design of the series) Best Chapter/Episode: Best Morphing Device: Best Hideout: Best Mentor: Best Goof: Best Megazord: Best Supporting Non-Ranger: Personality: (non-Ranger with great personality) Best Movie: (I don't know if we should cut it out guys! No movies were made) Best Poke Rangers Fanfic of the year: Personally, no one's made a movie this year, so we should PROBABLY cut the Movie category. But that's just me. Also, any series that does not have more than 5 episodes should be left out (if they don't have more than 5 episodes by December, perhaps?). |

Yes, I definitely think there are some fics that shouldn't be included, some that have just been abandoned, and with authors we haven't heard from in months - I don't know about the exact number of episodes, but - then again, I do think Angels should be included, and dsoesn't that only have five episodes? Maybe only leave them out of the Fic of the Year... And certainly, the movie category should be removed. In fact, I'm not aware that many people even have any movies planned for any time soon - I think the next one coming would probably be the OO movie (which I for one am greatly looking forward too! That said, as I'm writing this I've just decided to make a DF movie, which will pretty much certainly happen: Poké Rangers Dino Force The Movie: Dynasty of the Dragonfly You'll never guess what that's gonna be about...or else I'll bite your legs off for spoiling the plot for others  Seriously though, if Jigglypuff gets best goof again this year then I'll be fuming...he hasn't been in it for a third of the series now... I like the sound of the best concept award, but I'm not too sure on the best plot twist - I mean I love plot twists, I've stuffed my fics (especially Legacy) full of them, but how measureable are they? I mean, I suppose if the authors just nominated them...for example, Yanke could put Rayquaza's death...yeah, I reckon that could work... I s'pose I'd plain and simple put the return of THR's descendants or something...or Team Rocket's trio turning good? Hmm... But all in all, that list looks pretty good. Hopefully this year more authors will win some prizes - don't get me wrong, I liked having loads of awards last year, and I'm sure Yankee did too - but considering we have quite a few more authors as well now, three + the Poké Rangers account doesn't seem that many... |

All of the plot twists you added were pretty cool, but my next Sonora Rangers chapter will have a pretty significant one. And, maybe we should leave Dimension Warriors out of the subcategories, and only have it for Fic of the Year nomination? I think that might work. |

I was thinking of having two, but I decided to make one a TV Episode Version: Overtech Overdrive: It's Not A Movie But, the REAL Movie is this: Overtech Overdrive: The Power of the Gold Ranger! SYNOPSIS: Danny and the others are having a fun time when they see a mysterious ship land on the southern islands of Hoenn and they see a new ranger that has been weak. However, the Machine Fortress and the Bounty Hunters want the power and the only way the rangers can stop them is if they transfer the power to a veteran ranger... Eddie. |

Well...presumably until voting begins, January 31st. I guess it's such a long gap, because like you said, none of us will have as much time in December (although I'm hoping to get a New Years special out, since I did Christmas last year). And you reckon your Chimbo's are bad? I bet the first day of your holiday's isn't december 24th! Although in fairness, I've got the weekends before that. But I've also got to get three Chrimbo presenta AND three birthday presents (for the same people) that month, on a Ł20 budget! |

Ah...ok...fair enough...although in fairness, like me you'll also get the weekend...but I didn't know that, do I? Lol. What do I know about American school dates? When I was at school we'd normally finish about a week before Christmas. Then again, I never started a school year age 16... |

Well, TECHNICALLY my break starts on 12/24 as well, BUT I have a half day on 12/21 (as in I take Envy home or out to lunch around 9:55AM being GMT - 5 again and then go home) so after then I'm free. I also have one of those half days on 12/20. Yet...12/19 is heck in a very small handbasket. This is BECAUSE we have a Quiz Bowl meet. And my school hosts. Lovely. |

Okay, I have decided to make people happy and myself happy as well, that we plan on making Nominations for next week because we can post the nominations here next week and then after December, when all of the Christmas stuff is done, then the voting gates open because like Clarinet, I have tons of concerts to perform... Official Stuff: Nominations Open: November 21, 2007 Nominations Close: November 25, 2007 First, all nominations that we make ourselves will be out of the way first. The voting will come in later.
