Poke Rangers: Geno Blast Backstory: The disgraced Professor Locust, now an insectoid lifeform, attacks Pokemon Earth. His lair is an inaccessible island that can only be reached via his portals. His only goal, to Geno-Blast humans and Pokemon together placing himself as the supreme ruler. Disposable Henchmen: Name: Chimerans Description: Armored similiar to Lairon, arms of a Scyther, legs of a Machop, and a head like a Blastoise. Their tail is a Pikachu and they can fire electric blasts from their armblades. Group Founding: A cooperation of Silph Co. and Devon Corporation with permission from the governments of the regions has begun to search for Rangers to combat the threat. If I have permission, then I would welcome submission for Rangers, allies, and other villains. For the allies and Rangers, I'm looking for people from several walks of life. You know, normal Pokemon Rangers (The ones with the stylus), trainers, Professors, Scientists, Nurses, and cops. Use your imagination.  The above image is a rather bad sketch of my idea for the Swablu Guns that will come with the Blue Ranger's Swablu Soul. Here is a preliminary episode guide I have at the moment. If this is going to involve all of the Pokémon world, though, it's going to be hard to place it as a parallel to the ones the rest of us have... it's not impossible; but you'll have to set it at some strange time or something, I guess. Or is it an alternate universe from the one the rest of us are working on? (Would explain how the protectors of the other regions suddenly sat on their arses and decided not to do anything =/) |

I've decided to only use the Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto regions. I have played Diamond, Pearl, or Colesseum games yet so I couldn't do those regions. Edit: Oh, I have the first episode done and have posted it on FanFiction.Net under my name of Digimon Lantern 1. It hasn't shown up yet but would anyone like my to post it here so that everyone can critque it? |

Well; no, I don't think that'd be necessary ^-^; I think we can all review it and stuff. YF'll have to put it on the C2 and stuff, though. Before I do anything else, though, I'll have to welcome you to the insanity that this is. Yeah. So welcome and all =/ On a second note, we can still comment here... since I, for one, am very lazy at reviews. I prefer to write things in forums. Don't ask why. It's something of the same reason I never Favourite or Author Alert anything. And have no friends, I think. Yeah. Go you. |

I'm liking it, but I'll tell you something I'm not liking: everyone else! First I planned on giving a Black Ranger, but Yankee took that! When he's already made at least one other Black Ranger...then I decided I'd change to Pink, and then once I'd finished, I decided to check the reviews just in case, and found that Mimi had given Pink! That makes at least her third Pink now! Hmm...I need some pi or something, to calm me down... |

The one reason I'm not making any rangers is because no information about anything makes me a tad uneasy in writing anything up, lest plot holes/irredeemable attributes in a character appear. The bios are the best part, after all. But what the hey; I'll watch this from the sidelines. While I've the time, anyway >_< |

I've added Chapter 2, Episode 2: Genome Disruption: Part 2. Submitted characters have been added. Oh yeah, in keeping with the tradition in Pokemon where Professors' names are those of trees, I had named the evil Professor Locust. A Locust tree is the most evil tree I can think of. The tree is extremely thorny and you have to cut it down in order to get rid of it. The only bird I've seen nest in it is a Blue Jay. |

Nice one! You've now updated more than half the other Poké Rangers authors...and you've posted here quite a bit too...you're well and truly part of the writing Poké Rangers community... I don't have time to read it now, I have to leave for school in half an hour, so I'll check it out later. By the way, double-posting is a no-no on this site. Not my rule, btw, if I had my way we could, but Sentro... P.S. That's my volunteering at a school by the way. EDIT: Eh...I read it anyway. Gwen, Jen and Ken? Enrique must feel left out...I did notice he didn't have much of a reaction to being asked to be a Ranger... And yes, that's my way of reviewing without breaking my...thing...you know...don't review unless they reviewed my last chapter... |

Chapter 15 is where I'd like to put a Poke Rangers Crossover but I'm not sure exactly which one to ask for. I'm leaning towards either Yankee's Overtech Overdrive or Psyduck's Dino Force. Reasons Why Overtech Overdrive Might Be A Good Idea: 1) I would get to write a scene where Jen tries to explain to Claydoll how she got one of their wrist communicators. 2) The Geno Blast Rangers would question whether or not they should try to tamper with the timeline. 3) Femore could be mistaken for a monster by the Overtech Rangers and attacked resulting in an accidental confrontation between both teams of rangers. 4) Possible way Enrique could get the Swablu Soul and the Geno Blast Rangers could assemble the Soulfire Megazord. 5) Femore could fight Manacle and Manacle would flee like a coward. 6) Cassandra would slap Sprocket silly. Reasons Why Dino Force Might Be A Good Idea: 1) Dorian could try to anhilate the Geno Blast Rangers but at the last second would be stopped by (Insert Dinosian Royal Family Member Here) and told that destroying them might prevent the Dinosians from ever conquering the planet. 2) I could do several arguments with different good guy characters. 3) Femore could be mistaken for a monster by the Dino Force Rangers and attacked resulting in an accidental confrontation between both teams of rangers. 4) Stegatrix and Femore could battle it out but will end it honorably without either one of them dying. 5) Possible way Enrique could get the Swablu Soul and the Geno Blast Rangers could assemble the Soulfire Megazord. As anyone can plainly see, I'm in a bind. |

Well don't forget, you'd need permission first...I'll come to that in a minute... I've never thought crossovers early on were a good idea. I think, just like in Power Rangers, it's always best to wait until not only have they got the full arsenal (which, as far as I know OO may well have, but DF doesn't, and either way I dont think GB has anyway), but also, of course, the full team of Rangers, which OO won't have until after the movie, won't have for another 15 chapters or so, and I'm not sure about yourself. Personally, I definitely think you should wait a bit... |

Well, I will be doing, with Yankee's assistance, a Poke Rangers Geno Blast/Overtech Overdrive Crossover starting in chapter 18. My intial plan is for it to run three parts. After this will be the final seven chapters. I know Psyduck, I could try to put in filler episodes to extend it out but then... Also, I wanted to bring up my plot outline for my next Poke Rangers story. Poke Rangers Legendary Knights or Purfication Squad (I kinda don't know which is best.) Morpher & Power Souce: A gem energized by Legendary Pokemon DNA. When they're found by the five rangers, they get absorbed into their cellphones. Location: Miligia Island- A resort island which has (at the moment) one city named after the island. Basically, anything that can be thought of to do on this island is available and it is home to a very diverse collection of Pokemon. It has a Safari Zone but no gym (at the moment). Villian: If you remember the original Pokemon Red & Blue, you might remember a glitch Pokemon you could get called MissingO. After you got it, it would corrupt your game like a virus causing you to try to get rid of it, start a new game, or feed it an absurd number of rare candies to turn it into a Kangaskan. In this Poke Rangers Fic, since MissingO could destroy your game, I'm placing him as a polar opposite of Arceus. But I'm getting off track, Arceus was only able to seal MissingO away in another dimension which unfortunately begins to weaken every 47,000 years. Even though it weakens, MissingO can't escape so it sends a sentient virus out into the world. The virus transforms what it infects into monsters. Disposable Henchmen: Virals-Think of plankton that got mutanted to where they were humanoid without a human-like face. Poke Ranger Weapon Type: Since the monster will normally be either an innocent human or an innocent Pokemon, standard weapons will not be a good thing. In this case, thought the weapons are indeed capable of delivering a significant amount of damage to ordinary things, the weapons will only attack the actual virus while leaving the infected victim safe. Powers: Each ranger will have an umorphed special ability based on their legendary pokemon. Red Groudon Ranger-Andrew Hunt Pink Mew Ranger-(Psyduck has dibs on this one) Blue Kyorge Ranger-Female Yellow Zapdos Ranger-Female Black Darkai Ranger-Male Allies: A Chatot who was around when the rangers recieved their powers. The resulting "shockwave" caused his intelligence to increase exponentially and he was able to speak like a normal human. He also has a strange phone-book written in an ink only he can see. Base Story: A young man is seen floating seemingly half-dead and is quickly rescued by local residents. Despite the fact that there is absolutely no record of him in existence as well as having total amnesia, he does have a book which says it belongs to Andrew Hunt which he is being called for the time being. After about a week or two, the two residents talk Doctor Samson who was placed in guardianship of Andrew into letting them take Andrew to the local Safari Zone hoping something might jog his memory. While exploring the Zone, they run into two others as a strange quintet of lights fall to the ground close by which they investigate. |

Oh right...you ARE far into GB then...or at least you will be by the time of the crossover...still, I think it is best to have both teams have complete arsenal and Rangers, which, after the movie, PROO will indeed have. Ooh, and word to the wise, it's MissingNo. As in missing number...'cause it's not in the 'dex... |
