Episodes: 52 History of this: The third sentai, but in 1979, it was known as the first Super Sentai. With the help of Marvel, it was known to have the first sentai robot. First series Marvel helped, but wasn't involved in the show when it came to the episodes. Plot: General Kurama assembles four young agents who had been dispatched around the world for training. They are joined by FBI investigator Diane Martin, whose father was murdered by Egos. The five don powered suits to become the Battle Fever team. (The word 'fever' was trendy at the time.) The Battle Fever team's trump card is the Battle Fever Robo. Egos tries to stop the construction of the Robo, but the monsters they send to perform this task are defeated one by one by the Fever team. Egos then unleashes the 'younger brother' of the Buffalo Monster, a giant robot replica of its 'older brother'. The Robo, fortunately, is finished in time. Aboard it, the Fever team defeats the Buffalo Monster and its successors. The Fever team never stops, even when it lost two of its members (the original Miss America and Battle Cossack). With new members, the team defeats Hedder, now the Hedder Monster, and breaks into Egos' headquarters, where they are fed into the Egos Monster Making Machine so that they may be used as material for a Battle Fever Monster. The team destroys the machine and with the Lightning Light Sword Rocketter sword-throwing move, slays the mysterious deity Satan Egos himself. Characters: Den Masao- Battle Japan Former National Defense Ministry officer. Good at judo and karate. Armed with a spear. Does a kung fu dance. Actor: Kouki Tanioka (also known as Kouji Tanioka) Birthday: June 5, 1949 Shirashi Kensaku- Battle Cossack (1-33) Good at science as well as war. Wielded twin sais. Did a Cossack dance. He is the original second in command into the team. Left Big Baser without the Battle Cossack uniform and was killed by the Eagle Monster, attempting to save a child from Egos. Loves to play Pachinko. * Actor: Yukio Itou (also known as Takeshi Itou and Takeshi Shoudou) * Birthday: December 16, 1955 Jin Makoto- Battle Cossack II (34-52) Silent cowboy. A man of action, not words. A scientist who trained in the Defense Ministry along with Kensaku. Joined Battle Fever to avenge the death of his friend. Makoto is an experet marksman. He's a loner, preferring to go off by himself. Makoto plays a trumpet to distract Egos. Actor: Daisuke Ban (also known as Naoya Ban) Birthday: May 5, 1947 Shida Kyosuke- Battle France Trained in France. He turns a new second in command into the team after Kensaku's death. Normally a beautician. A dandy and playboy. Armed with a fencing sword. Does a Spanish dance. Actor: Narimitsu Kurachi (also known as Osuji Fujii) Birthday: April 17, 1951 Akebono Shirou- Battle Kenya Unofficially the first Black Warrior in Super Sentai history. Trained in Kenya. Wild child who can talk to animals. Armed with a whip. Does a tropical dance. Eats just about anything. The smell of his cooking is not appreaciated by the other team members. Actor: Kenji Ohba Birthday: February 5, 1955 Diane Martin- Miss America I (1-24) FBI agent who joined the Fever team to avenge her father Bosner, who was slain by Egos. Wielded throwing knives. Did a disco dance. After she was wounded by the Dracula Monster, she returned to the United States. Diane has a sister named Catherine. Actress: Diane Martin (voiced by Lisa Komaki) Birthday: December 19, 1961 María Nagisa- Miss America II (24-52) FBI agent trained by Diane Martin's father. When Diane is WIA Maria takes her place as Miss America and then stays on permanently when Diane decides to return the United States. Actress: Nahomi Hagi Birthday: October 10, 1960 General Kurama Tetsuzan- Chief of the special science office of the National Defense Ministry who established the Fever team. Master of traditional Japanese swordsmanship Arsenal: Battleceiver- The Battle Fever Squad's communication device and possible transformation device. Transformation call is "Fever!" Command Bat -The BFS's standard issue weapon. Transforms into the BFS's assigned weapons. Forms the Penta Force cannon or boomerang. Vehicles: Battle Fever Car used by Battle Japan and Miss America Three Motorcycle Machines- used by the other three. MECHA: Battle Shark: The flying fortress which contains the main robot. Appears in Episode 5. Battle Fever Robo- The first sentai robot in Super Sentai History, armed with a great arsenal. Appears in Episode 5.
