DENSHI SENTAI DENJIMAN Electronic Squadron Denjiman Year: 1980-1981 Episodes: 51 Plot: 3000 years ago, the Vader Clan devastated Denji Star. Denjiland, an island from Denji Star, landed on Earth. In modern times, the computer of Denjiland awoke the Denjidog IC when it detected the Vader Clan approaching Earth. IC found five young people (who may or may not be descendants of the Denji people) to become the Denjimen in order to defend Earth, the Vader Clan's next target. The Denjimen begin a long record of success with the defeat of Vader Monster number 00, Flying Squirreler. Rangers: Ippei Akai Ranger Destination: DenjiRed A teacher of karate and other sports to children at the Athletic Club. # Special moves: Denji Vacuum Kick, Denji Punch # Actor: Shin'ichi Yuuki * Birthday: May 11, 1954 * Birthplace: Hokkaido, Japan Daigorou Oume Ranger Destination: DenjiBlue A circus acrobat who teaches yoga and gymnastics at the Athletic Club. He loves anpan. # Special moves: Blue Rocket, Blue Screw Kick, Blue Snake, Denji Drill # Actor: Kenji Ohba * Birthday: February 5, 1955 * Birthplace: Ehime, Japan Jun Kiyama Ranger Destination: DenjiYellow An inventor and space researcher. He coaches calisthenics. Special moves: Denji Suplex, Flying Attack, Hammer Punch # Actor: Eiichi Tsuyama * Birthday: April 12, 1958 * Birthplace: Osaka, Japan Tatsuya Midorikawa Ranger Destination: DenjiGreen A detective who lost his father to a Vader attack. He coaches boxing. Special move: Green Spin Kick # Actor: Naoya Uchida * Birthday: May 1, 1953 * Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan Akira Momoi Ranger Destination: DenjiPink A former tennis player who teaches swimming at the Athletic Club. Special move: Denji Thunder # Actress: Akira Koizumi (presently known as Akira Yumi) * Birthday: February 24, 1958 * Birthplace: Shizuoka, Japan Arsenals: Denji Ring: The Denjimen's transformation device. The transformation call is "Denji Spark!" Denji Stick: Each Denjiman is armed with a DenjiStick. These combine into the DenjiBoomerang and are all used in the Electronic Lightning Fall. Other team attacks, not involving the sticks, include the Shot Gun, Blitzkrieg Attack, Denji Circle, Denji Shower, Dragonfly, Scramble Chain, and Denji Tower. Vehicles: Denji Machine: DenjiRed's motorcycle Denji Buggy: A jeep for the rest of the team Denji Crafts: Hovercraft's that the team uses. Mecha: Denji Tiger: The flying fortress carrying the DenjiFighter that launches from Denji Land the island headquarters. Daidenjin: (Giant Electric Man, Big Electroid, or Great Electronic God): Denjimans' robot that transforms from an airship called the Denji Fighter. The Denji Fighter nose becomes Daidenjin's back, the sides of the underside become the chest, and the lateral sides become the legs. Its main weapon is the Denji Sword and it destroys monsters with its finishing attack, the Electronic Full-Moon Cut. Its other weapons are the Denji Ball and Daidenjin Boomerang (Great Electric Man Boomerang) Allies: Denji Dog IC: Intelligent robot dog that came from Denji Star 3000 years ago to assemble the Denjiman team. After the denjimans last battle he was given last message to them. And the denjimen resumed their civilian lives and made a soccer competition named and dedicted to him Princess Denji (Episodes: 26, 29 and movie) A survivor of Denji Star who visited Earth 3000 years ago, ordering a servant girl to defend the Earth with the rainbow stones. She left Earth to patrol the universe. Vader Clan: The Vader Clan are invaders from another dimension with warped (to us) concepts of outer beauty. They intend to pollute and corrupt the Earth and its inhabitants to fit its unusual aesthetic. Queen Hedrian: She hates inner beauty and wants to pollute the world. She finds happiness in human suffering. General Hedrer: Field Commander Keller and Mirror: Female spies in silver and gold respectively. Keller can change into a shield, and Mirror a vanity mirror. Banriki Demon King (Episodes 37-51) A half-naked, musclebound space wanderer. Eventually takes the Vader Clan leadership for himself. Dustlers: Grunts (footsoldiers) in black tights with skeletal designs. Armed with sickles. They can teleport from one spot to another. Next Super Sentai Up Is: Taiyou Sentai SunVulcan
