It is! My second language is Spanish. And I have been taking Spanish for if not 4, 5 years!!! English I have been speaking since I was like 2. |

You're doing better than me, Yankee. I only know enough of a few foreign languages to get myself in trouble. Sometimes I slip up and cuss somebody out in German, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Spanish, or Russian. |

Meh. I spent the last three years learning Spanish, doesn't mean I know much. Foreign languages simply aren't as focused on in England...at least not my schools... My point is, Yankee, learning foreign languages shouldn't affect your grasping of your first language, unless you're still only like 5 or something... |

Chill out, Psyduck! I'm stressed and I'm telling YOU to chill out! That's sad and pathetic! I've been trying to learn Japanese over the last four or so years on my own, so, like Femore, I only know enough to get in/keep myself out of trouble. I know how to curse in French (one word), Polish (one phrase) and Japanese (a boatload of cursing). Otherwise, I don't know much in any foreign languages, except my boyfriend is trying to teach me German while I'm trying to teach myself Japanese... v.vV This is going to take a while... |

Soooo...why are we arguing over languages again? OH RIGHT MANGLED ENGLISH. Whatever. English is dead anyway, and soon all the other languages will follow. -mimes things falling and makes explody noises- Boom. It's all the Internet's fault. I am not multilingual at all. Meh. I speak English, I have a very basic knowledge of Latin (which actually is a dead language) and some Chinese, so meh. Multilingual people scare me. Especially the really multilingual people who speak like...five languages. Fluently. Brr. And Yankee, if you're learning Spanish and your first language is English, why do you say you're learning two languages? I'm confused here... |

Bleh =P I speak fluent English, Chinese, average German, middling Japanese, and know a little bit of Latin as well. Learning many different languages isn't much of an excuse for stuff like that =/ But honestly, I don't think you ought to make a fuss about all this, Psyduck. There's too much of it flying around the internet for your head not to explode. Yankee, might I suggest you shrink your comic a bit, though... or post a link to it than put the thing here. It kills bandwidth and also completely destroys the formatting of this forum >_<; |
