Poké Ranger
|
I'll be uploading my pictures of the pokerangers from my fanfic and give info about them. http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/6082/imgsa0.jpg Lucria is the blue ranger and leader in this series. She's even a pokémorph that helps the company Pokepower to fight and defend the world of man and pokémon from the evil Team Chronos. She has a tomboyish nature, but is still a caring person who cares for her friends, but didn't actually want one because she doesn't want to scare them with that she's a pokémorph. But when a young guy learned about it she had to let him be a ranger. http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/479/img0002dh7.jpg Jake is the red ranger in the series. When he learned that Lucria was a pokémorph and a pokeranger he wanted to help her. Without any other choice she made him a ranger, but Jake was confused with the red color, but the only answer he got was that Blue is already taken. He is a good friend and would never betray his friends. Rentoraa is the japanese name for Luxray. http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/9772/img0003gg4.jpg Andrea is the yellow ranger, a friend of Jake and the smartest guy of the group, even though his pokémon is Bastiodon (Toridepusu), therefore his enemy calls him the "intellectual brute". While he is smart he is occasionally clumsy and tries to become better with his pokémon. His biggest dream is to become a pokémon proffesor. http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/2052/img0004ek0.jpg Joshua is the black ranger and best friend of Jake. He is an otaku and loves anime, manga and tokusatsu series. He even likes adventures and likes doing it mostly with his Mightyena (Guraena). Even though he don't look like it he is an expert at martial arts, but he doesn't do that alot and mostly just talks alot. He dreams about being a popular mangaka. http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/9365/img0005yg4.jpg Binnie is the pink ranger. She is you're usual fashion girl who just rather wants to do what she wants. But then her friends Jake, Andrea and Joshua got her into being a pokeranger. She's not good in hand to hand combat, so she uses her pokémoves, like shock spores to help her friends. She has won many pokécontests with her Venomoth (Morphon), but probably she doesn't get so much chance to enter a contest when she is protecting cities and pokémon from Team Chrono. |

AH ARGH! AHAHAHAARGH!!! IT HURTS SO MUCH!!! You - you said - "pokémons"! It hurts! Somebody call an ambulance! Wait, what - oh right, none of the rest of you guys live in England...well in thgat case, might be a good idea to stop dieing... But seriously, please, I beg of you, never, EVER say and/or type "pokémons" again! PLEASE! So eh...main question I've got about them...do they have hair? |

Geez... no need to overreact. <.< See the "s" in the end of pokémon is gone (for it was the only thing you complained about, right?). For you're question. It's not their actual hair and I'm not shure if it's real hair or not. I just wanted to make them look a bit more like thier pokémon instead of just having thier visors showing what pokémon they are. |

Yes by the way, I'm Psyduck Ranger, the guy who will kill anyone for forgetting to start their sentences with capital letters, the guy who is madly in love with the English language, the near-enough Official Monitor for Bad Spelling & Grammar and Cheeftain for Yelling At Those Who Show Such. I'm also the most ignored guy in the community, but that's probably just a coincidence... Anyway...OH THE PAIN! "you're question"! I'm not question! "Shure"! "Shure! Come on! And remember the "i before e" rule? Forget it! Their, not thier! GAH!!! Sorry about that, but I really can't help myself...it's like Monica on Friends has her cleanliness obsession...well I have a correct grammar/spelling obsession...you'll learn to tune it out eventually, I assume... |

Well, you shouldn't be overreacting so much when it's really "Chieftain" and "Dying" =/ (Rather than how you spelt it) And while we're on that, please leave spaces behind every ellipsis (which you shouldn't be using so often in the first place), like you would any other punctuation mark >_> And don't worry, Psyduck. It's a passing fad. I used to be a completely intolerant and possessive bigot (who pretty much believed the English language was his) when I was ten or eleven, too. Then a few of the literate people on the forums I visited chastised me enough for me to learn my lesson =/ That said, your drawings aren't bad =3 If you'll take the advice of a fellow artist, though, try to proportion the character better: as it is, their upper bodies are much too large, and their lower bodies relatively puny. Also, their poses are a little too stiff for my liking, but that might be just me. |

Hmm...fair enough on the correction of my spelling...but in my defence, I did check "dieing" on Microsoft word on my computer, and it came up as a word...but then it's not in dictionaries or nothing... As for for my over/incorrect use of ellipses...meh, that's just my thing. It's like you things like "saa". That's not a word, but you say it! Oh, and as shown above, youdon't always have a space after punctuation, see my forward slash! Not to mention every time you close a speech mark! But this isn't supposed to be a discussion of grammar and/or spelling and what-not (another example of not leaving a space after punctuation, that dash! As is this exclamtion mark and bracket!)...why do I always turn things into that... But I really don't have any new comments as such on the piccies...although I would like to say a word I haven't said in quite a long time...a few days, I think, since I've said sporadically. EDIT: Just thought of a nice comparison for my elipses, Emily Dickinson's dashes! Not that I'm comparing myself to ED...a, she's a poet, b, I haven't the faintest clue what most of her poems mean, I just write what my teacher says, c, she's a she, d, she's an American, e, she's dead...I could go on... |

Thanks for the tips Sentrovasi, and Psycuck Ranger, good that you'll stop talking about grammar and spellings here. |

On that note, you don't have a space after apostrophes either, or after an opening bracket, although after the closing bracket (parenthesis if you're American) and closing double-inverted-comma is necessary. But for most stops denoting a pause (and this includes the exclamation mark!), one is quite necessary, and I think you know that =/ And I find some of ED quite pretentious, although there's no doubt she's earned the right to do so =3 |

Dude, I don't mind you correcting anyone on their spelling or grammar. I'm good at story writing so naturally, I'm a freak about it; I just don't correct anyone. It's just going to get slightly annoying... but I would think most of us are used to it if you've ever had that one English teacher that will dock you five points on an essay. Heh heh... I'm not saying anything. But with all due respect... You spelled "Defense" wrong. It's supposed to be "defenSe" not "defenCe". ^-^" And "but then it's not in dictionaries or nothing..." is a double-negative. Sorry. I can't help myself. I'm used to my characters speaking as such, but in actual writing, I try to be as formal as possible while still keeping my own unique writing style. Wow, grammar... whoopie! Sorry, don't mean to act all rude and all, but let's all think about it for a second. We understand that grammar and spelling are important in writing a novel... but why the hell are we arguing about who's right and who's wrong??? it's just plain... wrong. |

It's okay :) There were other arguments that were worse than this. Edited by Yankee Blaze, Jun 19 2009, 04:45 AM.
