Well, I wanted to have a thread about my Poké Rangers series, Poképower (not original, I know. But it was the best I could come up with(and if it is okay for me to do that)).

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4001970/1/Pok_rangers_Pok_power

Here we can discuss about it.
I´m not going to accept Ranger requests by the moment, but I do accept monster requests.

I do really want people to review my fic, or else I can't continue on it. :(
Please, I need it so badly. <=(

Hmm...well I forgot to mention this in either of my reviews, but normally I don't review Poké Rangers fics beyond the first chapter unless the author of them reviews my Ranger fics in return. That second review was a rarity.

Think of it like this; I've reviewed you now (twice, in actuality, but I'm talking in general), so if you don't review me, why should I bother reviewing again?

And I don't just mean "That was good, please continue" type reviews, because there's no effort in that, I put effort into my reviews...

Well, I'm not waiting for you to review again, but for many others to do it.

Dude, if you won't keep writing until others review you, then let's be honest: you don't want to write, you want the attention. And honestly, I can't believe I just said - er, typed - dude. I'm pretty sure everyone would like reviews, but most people don't just sit down and refuse to write to get them. It really doesn't work unless you have a legion of fans who can't live without the next chapter. Since you don't seem to, I'd suggest you keep writing until someone actually does realize it's a good fic/not that great and decides to review and tell you how to improve it, blah blah blah. And even if no one does, well, writing should be for fun, not for reviews.

And also, that was a cover for me saying that I'm too lazy to read and review. Whoo.

Well, I do want reviews so that I can get some some ideas by others, like new monsters and the name of the region the fic takes place in.
So I write fictions for fun, but its fun if I know what people likes about my fic.
I do know how the stories will be in future chapters, just that I don't have ideas of any monsters yet.

Lucario, this is from personal experience: No one likes it when you stick to the "I won't update if you don't review" belief. I don't update because I lack time and inspiration sometimes. I still don't know where Chapter Four will lead me. When I get time to write it (after AP exams) I'll probably know, but the original took up over 15 pages unfinished. Handwritten. I know I need to cut out crap. Writing is all about deciding what works for you. Nothing more, nothing less.

After thinking about what Phoenix said, I've decided to not wait for any reviews and being very popular just to get some (for when popular, people will just babble and ask you when the next chapter comes all the time).

I'm therefore going to start writing the next chapter tomorrow (because it's 21:26 at me and I have to go to school tomorrow), and think up of the monster of the week for that chapter.

Yeah, on a couple of occasions where I was annoyed by the minute number of reviews I'd gotten for...I can't remember which of my fics, but either way, on a few osscasions like that I said at the end I wouldn't be updating until X people updated. More often than not I broke my promise because I wanted to write it so badly... Although a few times my demands were met, so there was no problem, but you shouldn't hold out for that.

But my main point is you shouldn't be expecting your audience to give you all your ideas. I mean, excluding several of the generals which I asked for specifically on this site, and then I think about four monsters from Starfighter later on, in Alex-orientated episodes, I haven't got any submitted monsters lined up for any of my fics (excluding those that have already appeared). I've asked plenty of times in the past, but since early Johto I haven't gotten many, if any responses. I for one won't be submitting any to anyone any time soon, because I need every idea I can come up with for my own fics.

You shouldn't be asking your audience for anything though (excluding Ranger characters, which I think has become a staple, a signature of our community, and one that I quite like), esapecially if it were to be plot. I've always expressed my annoyance when people *COUGH*Yankee*COUGH* have just accepted anything and everything people have told him to put in his fics, like all the hoopla with Mewtra. Thankfully in the end he took control of that situation. But whenever anyone's told me that something has to go in my fic, or even just asked me to, if it's gone against what I wanted, or what I'd already planned, then I've always denied them. An obvious case would be with some of Starfighter's requests for Alex, they simply went against my plans for my fics...

All that said, however, I've recently been thinking about one region a fic could be set in - in fact I've had some thoughts on that just today. It's a canon one, but one that hasn't been explored much even by Nintendo.

Holon; you may very well not be familiar with this region, as it's only ever been shown in the TCG, but it's certainly canon. Look it up on Bulbapedia. It's developed enough for basis there, but there's still enough for you to use as much creative license as you like.

OK, I will look that up.
Now for the monsters. The problem I have is come up with an original monster thats not like any other monsters that has been used by others (but the name could be the same (thinking of the monsters named Fearon from some season of MMPR and Timeforce)).
I have already thought about a sixth ranger, but he will not appear in next chapter or the chapter after that, and will have not so much appearances. But if I want one sixth that's with the team pernament I would still think up with one.
