So this was discussed a bit on the old forum, but basically, I think I made a mistake. Practically, there needs to be more than four generations - at least in Kurtis's direct line. Basically, it's going to be an important plot point later on in DF that Kurtis's Dad, Joseph, had him at a fairly young age, like early 20's. Just put rough DOBs on that - Kurtis circa 2090, Joseph circa 2065, and then what? Derik in 2030, say, putting him at 35 when he had his son, and then Danny & Amii about 40? Think it's a bit much, especially considering they've all met their lifelong partners in their teens... So basically, I've modified the old family tree seen in the old forum, and come up with this:  Of course it's much harder to change the number in the Madigan line, because they have numbers as opposed to individual names. That one's entirely up to Starfighter though, he can have late births if he wants. So yeah, I think we need this new generation. I also think it will help if we pinpoint exact DOBs. So, Kurtis's official date of birth is now the 26th of September 2090, and his Dad, Jospeh, was born on the 30th of May 2067. Yankee, I'll leave Danny and Derik up to you, of course (I guess Anthony the 2nd and Sakura are a bit older than them? And Anthony the 5th older than Kurtis?), and then we'll slot the as of yet unidentified generation in between. I think it'd be nice though if Derik could be born in 2016. It may be a while for Danny & Amii, but then I could make a reference in Legacy, which I think would be nice... Also, Derik's son would be born somewhere near the time of Geno Blast. I'll add official DOBs for all my main characters later. EDIT: Seems I've made this a bit dodgy, it says father underneath Anthony Madigan the 5th, that's fallen from the line above, beneath Jospeh. If you couldn't guess... EDITY EDIT: And actually, thinking about it, it's gonna be a bit dodgy having Derik in Future Force at all, because, I mean, even if Danny & Amii were to wait until there mid 30s to have him (and why would they wait that long, nearly 20 years), then Derik would still be about 80 by 2106, and the way it stands he'll probably be about 90 by that point. So unless you're going to have the same convenient magic affecting him, Starfighter, I can't see how thats' remotely plausible. |
