There's a special place in my heart for the Shogun Megazord, simply because it was my first Megazord. Indeed, at the time I wasn't the biggest Power Rangers fan, so I wouldn't have even realsed it was a Megazord if it didn't show Titanus on the box. I was always so jealous of friends with the original Megazord...

What's so great about the Thunder Megazord? The reason why the transformation worked was because it was essentially the same as the Dino Megazord. Blue and Yellow make legs, Black (Green) make arms and chest armour, Red makes an under body, Pink makes a bit of armour. They both had a tank mode before their proper Megazord mode, there was a formation with the sixth Zord that didn't include all the others, and there was a very similar carrier Zord. The only difference is that in comparison the Thunder Megazord sucked, and most fans will tell you the same. The White Tigerzord was good, but again, not as good as the Dragon Zord.

G12/RPM Ultrazord...sure, a part of me loves it. That's the part of me that is the main reason I love Power Rangers; I love the transforming, combining robots, the more transforming and combining the better. But as a particular Youtube review makes clear, this is just a brick. And the legs! The legs are made up of parts from no less than SIX Zords! Birca (I really like the Japanese names for these Zords), Gunpherd, Carrigator, BearV, Jum-Bowhale, and the Mammoth all contribute to the legs. Then you look at the arms in comparison...unless you count the Speedor shoulder, you've got the Tyranosaurus and the Triceratops...yay... But seriously, they need to do better than just sticking any leftover parts on or around its feet...

The PROO Zord whose name I can't remember is admittedly quite cool. Like G12 but not quite as ridiculous.

For me, my all time favourite is the Time Force Megazord. This thing had not one, not two, but THREE combinations...although admittedly Mode Blue was ridiculous, its shoulders were bigger than its legs... That was also one of the few Megazords I had, along with Shogun, the carrier thing from Turbo, and my second favourite...

I always loved the Dino Stegazord, and that's the only Zord I still have. I wish I got other DT Zords...but I love it...

I also have to say, I've recently seen the mecha for Jetman, which is just another reason why I wish it had been the first Power Rangers series, that series had awesome mecha.

I've seen the Shinkenger mecha. They look truly, truly revolting. Ok, in their pod form they look nice, and the Megazord is cool, but the individual Zords, in animal form, are pathetic. It's just...no...

Of course, Disney say they won't be adapting it...although with the success of RPM, that may change...

The Jetman Mecha are definitely amazing. Actually, if you have seen like some of the subbed episodes, Jet Garuda was not also a cool robot, but it was very powerful. In addition, the Time Force Megazord was really cool and amazing. In the Japanese series, they would never use the word for fusion. Instead they used: 3-D Formation Alpha (Red), Beta (Blue), Gamma (the one where all the jets combine into one)

You know, there are sometimes I wish Jetman was the first Power Rangers series too. However, there are times I wish Turboranger was the first.

Also, you do know Shinkenger's mecha is Origami right? So, of course they are going to look revolting.
