Could just get the TM. Play the Game Corner a bit, it's an awesome game. Surprised you haven't evolved it yet.

But...why those four? That's just...random...

What, for ten thousand coins? Are you kidding? That'll take about a month.

And, I haven't evolved the Growlithe yet because he doesn't have a great set of moves. Ember, Flame Wheel, Reversal and Strength. Wanted him to get Flamethrower the natural way, but because I levelled him up on the Pokewalker, he didn't learn it.

Random yes. That'd be the point.

It really wouldn't take long. The amount of coins you win on each level rises rapidly. You've got to think about the fact that you don't have to bet any any more, there's really no risk of losing anything. Plus it's seriously fun.

I'm not disputing whether or not the game is enjoyable. Just the fact that doing it enough would make me probably want to poke my eyes out repeatedly. Yeah, it rises, but for how long. Make a few bad judgements and it screws itself right back to level one.

Seriously, I've spent more time playing that game than all the rest of it. It's addictive. I've got at least 15,000 coins...

Well, if that's not possible, you could always trade it over. Or trade over a Heart Scale...

EDIT: Turns out it's 40,000. Plus I've already bought a TM and a Wide Lens.

Well, I proved that Psyduck wrong. When he said that my only way of getting my Growlithe to learn Flamethrower was by buying or trading the TM. Or trading the TM or the Heart Scale over from another game.

On a kinda seperate note, I won my first Pokethlon medal.

Got the Master Ball. About to head over and battle the Kimono girls.

What do you mean you proved me wrong? Yes, Growlithe can learn Flamethrower at Level 34, but you said you'd levelled it up so it couldn't learn it, therefore you'd need a Heart Scale or TM to teach it to that particular Growlithe. What have you proven, exactly, and how?

You made it sound like that was my only real option. I'm just saying that I managed to get one in the Pokethlon. Now, as soon as my Growlithe learns Crunch, I'm evolving him.

Hey, you've got two of the same Pokemon as me. Feraligatr and Amphy.

Finally got to Ho-oh. It's slightly worrying in the scene where it flies down to the roof of the tower that the light seems to be coming out of its rear. Kimono girls aren't that hard to beat.

I've heard the phrase "thinking that the sun shines out of their arse" but that just takes the piss.

Part of me wondered if you'd made a comment on the Growlithe. Since an avatar of you had the powers of one in one story, lol.

Everyone's started with Feraligatr because it's the best.

I started with Totodile even though I normally start with the region's fire starter.

I usually get all three games...I get the best starter in the first game, then go from there...

Diamond I got Piplup, Pearl I got Chimchar due to otherwise total lack of fire types, Platinum I got Turtwig...

I do like starting with the water types. Seems to almost be my thing. They're often good against the first gym leader, if you think about it. But, that's probably not the only reason. Mainly because they evolve into such awesome final stages.
