Okay, throughout the franchise, there have been many pairings. Specifically, ranger pairings. This topic will express our emphasis about who are our favorite pairings. EDIT: There is a poll I made. If I forget anybody, please post them on here. Edited by Yankee Blaze, Oct 3 2009, 03:47 AM.

There were a few less important ones in my series, like Greg & Clara, Whitney & Jimmy, Jessie & James (obviously), but you can leave them off. There are also a few that didn't really get to develop due to the cancellation, including James & Juliet (although I think that one's shown up a few times), as well as a love triangle that would have developed when Alex entered between him, Kyle, and Nanene (which would basically consist of her crushing on Alex, him not reciprocating). I've also considered the idea of Ritchie & Adelie, which would have developed after she found out she was adopted, and he begins helping her track down her biological parents (she just wants to meet them, and Ritchie's gone through something similar finding his parents), but of course that never appeared at all. Call me biased but I like Kyle & Nanene, because their relationship is just so different to anything I've ever written before. They really are so opposite, and they'd be absolutely horrible for each other if not for the fact that they're so madly in love, even if neither of them realises it at all (Kyle wouldn't realise until Alex's debut, Nanene wouldn't realise until Alex tells her as he's leaving. Various characters would often tell her "I thought you were supposed to be the psychic one"). James & Juliet I also find interesting, because of the whole starcrossed thing, along with James's general attitude to women at first, hitting on any girl he sees that he finds attractive, which would have culminated with him telling Juliet in the finale, after the battle is over, when she tries using her human disguise in public with him, so it doesn't look odd, that he doesn't care what people think, and he's in love with her, and doesn't care what she looks like. Ooh! I was also looking forward to a love triangle I was going to start between Donny, Carl, and a new character who would have been a red-haired, freckly co-worker of Nanene after she got a job as a lifeguard. They'd have seriously come to hate each other over their crushes on this girl, despite the fact that she'd simply be "average looking". It would culminate with them deciding to ask her to choose. We'd then find out she actually likes both of them, making it a difficult choice for her, but she goes with Donny. He rubs it in Carl's face, who sighs and sadly accepts her decision. Donny then realises Carl likes her more, and she should be with him, so those two get together, and remain together, with Donny & Carl's friendship repaired. I like what it would have been for the new sides of the two characters I'd get to explore. Incidentally, I can't remember what I chose, but her name would have began with "E". to continue the alphabet pattern. I'm less keen on some of the earlier couples I wrote about , such as Eddie & Sabrina (though I'd have had a second chance with that one come Legacy, including the revelation that the Eddie we know and love wasn't the original Eddie), and Kris and Anna (who, by the way, were going to get engaged late in DF, and have their wedding in the epilogue), simply because there was nothing to them. They got to know each other, became close, and eventually simply started going out, there was nothing special. Kurtis & Rei, despite being similar, I do like, partly because I think they got together in a more interesting way, but also because of where I'd have taken them; they'd have been the first couple I've ever written to split up, after Rei goes undercover with the Dinosians, having to fight the others, without anyone else knowing she's undercover (thinking she's turned for real), and when she's revealed her true colours, Kurtis decides he can't bear the sight of her, because of his memories of her fighting her friends (which the others would highly debate, largely because he forgave Kris quickly enough for fighting everyone). I never actually decided whether I'd get them back together or not, I've debated it, and thought, since James & Juliet get together in the finale, I probably wouldn't, but with her as Anna's maid of honour, and him as Kris's best man, she might catch the bouquet, and he might smile at her. But who knows, the possibilities are endless. But that's enough about me; Yankee! If I'm honest, the relationships I've read about it your fic(s) have been somewhat similar to my early ones, especially Danny & Amii (and I know, they're in the roles of Tommy & Kim...). Jack's unrequited crush on Jenna early on could have been really interesting, but you cut it short and just forced him with Mika, completely out of the blue. I think you could have developed that more, and had Jack gradually shift his feelings towards Mika...but I dunno... Sean & his girlfriend whose name I can't remember...not much to say really (so pretty similar to my blue Ranger :P), that just appeared out of the blue, not much happened, then she vanished back into the blue...it felt like it only mattered in two episodes, when she first appeared, making Jack & Mika the only ones not in a relationship, and in the episode based on Power Rangers' "An Oyster Stew", wherein Zack wore Tommy's armour for the first and only time to fight for his inexplicable girlfriend, herein replaced by Sean. Meh... I've gotta say I feel similar about Jenna & Zack, they never seemed that special to me, and I don't think I really know enough about Derik & Sakura to comment on them... But I've rambled far too long... |

Well, the only couple I got in my fic is Jake/Lucria, but I guess that there may have been a small instance that Binnie had a crush on Joshua. |
