I'll agree with you on the final evolution of the grass type looking cool... But then again, they always do look at least a little bit awesome. To be honest actually, it looks a bit like Milotic. Actually, there is that in all of them. They all look like other Pokémon in design. Final fire looks like a Claydol, while final water looks a bit similar to Dialga. |

Movepools are slowly but surely being added (preliminary details seem to be up, but they're very glitchy, and none of the new moves are in yet as it's based on the IV gen dex) on Serebii, so we'll find out soon which are actually usable. Admittedly, the Flying trio are a shame. One would be cool but Nintendo hasn't pulled this big of a whatchamacallit since Luigi. Then again, Luigi turned out fairly good...you never know, they might be Luigi's. The Fighting Horse Trivia point: Now that Water's been paired with Ghost, and Flying's been Pure, they're on equal footing. Both have been using in 17 out of 18 combinations, and, interestingly, have only not been paired with a type they're each super-effective against; Fire & Fighting respectively. |

dont know if Psyduck has gone and said this already but who cares. Anyone else think N is related to Geechisu? (If ur not sure check the important characters section) N could also be the heir to the throne as well. |

How do you mean? As in by blood? Very possible, and very believable. It's known he's somehow affiliated with Team Plasma, but many signs seem to suggest he doesn't actually want to be. I reckon he's either that guy's son, andhe's run away and whatever, or else he's secretly the leader, the "King" of Team Plasma. |

yeah as in blood. maybe if it is his father, he wants N to take controof the throne and he actually isnt "King" yet. And it shows N controlling the other mascot which u cant catch for each version (in black it'd be Zekrom) Maybe you catch the mascot legendary to battle N with the other legendary? would be an epic battle. |

Meh. Except I have no interest in actually using Reshiram or Zekrom. They'll come under the category of Pokémon that are banned in whatever situations. No good to me. EDIT: Awesome, the League isn't necessarily fought in a particular order. I don't know whether you can just just to go one way or the other, but it sounds like Serebii is saying any order is fine. Rooms are access by warp panels, so I'm guessing there's a small room with four (maybe five, for the champion after, maybe six for the hall of fame, I dunno) warp panels, and you go back to it after each battle and pick another. That's seriously awesome, you can choose who to go for depending on the condition of your party after the last battle. I'm assuming, of course, that the champion is still fought last ![]() EDITY EDIT: Er...maybe not. I'm not going to post this, but there are some major spoilers over at Serebii right now. EDITYEST EDIT: Spoiler: click to toggle

Yeah, I see it now. And all their Pokémon are at the same level so it doesn't matter who you face. Oh joy another psychic type member. That's... Three out of five now. Johto, Sinnoh and Isshu. Another ghost type member as well... Three out of five for that. Another dark one is welcome, I kinda hoped that that would be one of the eight gyms but oh well. And the fighting type. Not since Bruno have we had a fighting type Elite Four. It makes a change not for it to be a gym, so that's okay. Maybe you don't fight the champion after the Elite Four. Maybe it's like in Emerald... (Bad example I know) with Steven, where you have to go search for him within a cave somewhere. Then again, with the amount of originality that they've shown with the rest of it, I doubt it. AKA, the typing of the gym leaders and Elite Four. |

Well, if you want specifics, check Serebii. That said... You know who I am SO mad at right now? Believe it or not, Nintendo of all people. They've decided to serve fansites with copryright infringement notices for posting images, telling them to stop. Obviously, everywhere's doing it. This is to the extent that they can't even show the sprites, so I hope you got a good look. They can't even show the boxart! They've not said this about any older games or anything though. Maybe it's just because they're not out worldwide yet. But it's just...I am so upset with them right now! I can't believe they'd betray their own fans like this. We just want to see the Pokémon...know about the games. They should just release them worldwide at the same time, that'd avoid the problem. ARGH. Bulbapedia's not yet got one of these notices, but they don't just have a list of the sprites, as far as I can tell. Oh, hang on, Pokexperto, this Spanish site thatseemed to pop out of nowhere with loads of Black & White prerelease info, has still got the sprites up, so go there to see them. Nothing hugely notable seems to have happened just yet. They're in the slow slog of post-Elite Four, continuing the trek. EDIT: Hey, did you guys notice that these games have introduced the first ever Electric/Grass, Electric/Fire and Electric/Ice Pokémon? THEIR NAMES ARE ALL ROTOM! Yep, from now on when it changes Forme, Rotom takes on the type of its new move, losing not Electric as you'd expect, but Ghost! Obviously we also have a new Electric/Water, but that accompanies Chinchou's line, and a new Electric/Flying, but there are four of those now! |

Heh, how about that. Strange. Also, this post adds nothing to the discussion. Feel free to not read it!

So moves are available, including TMs and breeding, locations are available, stats are available. Have you guys started planning your teams yet? I'm eager to hear them

No idea yet. But, that's the great thing about a whole new 'dex. Everything's new Pokémon. All I know is that I usually go for the water type, but I may go for the grass type in this instance. |

Love the hat. Well, I think it's been confirmed that Ash is going to get a Mamepato. As per usual tradition of catching a flying type in the region. |

Spoiler: click to toggle Do you think maybe we should have an alternate thread for the anime? :S EDIT: It's reaching the point now that I'm thinking of which starter to choose based simply on which monkey I want - you get given the one weak to your starter. You can, I think, catch the other monkeys later anyway, but you get this one before you even fight for your first badge, so you can really get it early on, and train with it the whole game. So I'll probably never choose Mijumaru, because Baokki isn't that good - the monkeys all have identical stats and very similar movepools. Their movepools are physically orientated. Now even though both Attack stats are the same, I usually prefer to just use one or the other, and Baokki just doesn't have a good physical fire move. It has Nitro Charge, which is rather lame, and can learn Fire Punch through breeding, but word to the wise - if a Pokémon can learn a move that you want it to have through breeding this generation, it almost certainly won't have any possible fathers in the Isshu dex. So, I'll probably go with Tsutarja in my first game, because I do rather want Hiyakki. Maybe I'll get Pokabu in the second and play with Yanakki. And just maybe I'll get Mijumaru in the third and use Baokki - but we don't know what will happen in the third one, they might expand the Isshu dex like Platinum, or there might be other Pokémon I really want to use by that time. I know the monkeys aren't the best...I just really like them... Edited by Psyduck Ranger, Sep 25 2010, 09:40 AM.
