Oh yeah, I remember that Wobbuffet was gone. I saw the first six episodes of the new anime. Dent replaces Brock... unfortunately. :( |

well i know my white team. Daikenki, Baokki, Churine, Koromori, Meguroco, Bachuru/Zekrom. Still trying to decide if I should use Zekrom or not... probably not since hes basically caught at the end of the league... |

I haven't used legendaries since my first playthrough of Diamond. The way I see it there's no point, you can't use them in the Frontier-esque places, and that's the main place you'll be battling post-League. However, because of the way the story goes in this game, I will use Reshiram for the final fight against N. That's an interesting team though...the elemental monkeys are really cool, but the thing is they're so overused - all in the first gym, you just get handed one on a platter, both your rivals use one, so many other trainers use them, including Morimoto...it's just a shame. Like the line of terriers - they're really great, one of the few new Pokémon with the elemental fangs, but SO overused...just like everything good that's available early on... Despite what I've said about Hihidaruma in the past, I am considering it...I could never get one with Daruma Mode, that'd be so difficult to use, with its stats switching. But it is good. If I can go onto Route 4 before battling Arti I'll use it... How long do you think it'll be before we see Dragonite's focused on Rain Dance, with Thunder, Windstorm/Hurricane and Surf to back it up? |

hmmm i was bored so i decided to make teams id get if i chose the other startes. Tsutarja, Darumakka, Pururiru, Washibon, Denchura, Kibago/Zekrom Pokabu, Yanappu, Pururiru, Mogurew, Aaken, Zuruggu EDIT: the english starter names have been reavealed on serebii and so has the english version of the region name. Tsutarja is Snivy, Pokabu is Tepig and Mijumaru is Oshawott. The Isshu region is now known as the Unova Region. Frankly, the starter names could've had a bit more imagination... but oh well. Dang, you beat me to it, Hotrod...so yeah, they're out. Snivy based on snake & ivy, so I imagine it rhymes with ivy, but I can't help but see the word snivel... Tepig from tepid and pig...and who knows what the hell Oshawott is... Snivy...eh...it's ok...doesn't really seem to fit, in my opinion, but it's not bad. Tepig... again, eh. It fits...it just seems weird as a name. Seriously though, what the hell is Oshawott? Mijumaru made more sense... That's the first time they've ever drastically changed a region name. Kanto, Johto & Hoenn have the same names in Japan, and Sinnoh is just Shinou...but Unova...hmm...I think it'll take some time, but I like it...kinda similar to USA...kinda... A thought occurs; Isshu is based on New York (I think the city, rather than the state...which is a bit weird...I'd prefer to think the state...frankly I think Hiun does fine as the city...), Orre is based on Arizona (Phoenix, specifically...so I guess it could make sense for Isshu to just be New York City...)...I wonder if Orre is closer to Isshu than the other previous regions? |

When I saw that on here this morning about Oshawott, my thought is a mixture of ocean and ocelot. Think about it... Unova... Hmm, wonder if it's an alternate kingdom in the cosmo's. Hence the word nova... That's highly unlikely. I think we already know that it's not even close to being true. |

I definitely want to find out the localized name of Snivy's Stage two evo. At least Tepig is a bit more original than something that rhymes or sounds similar to bacon, being a fire pig. Speaking of the name change from Isshu to Unova, I'm gonna have to change Isshu's famous Pokabu bacon into Unova's famous Tepig bacon. ![]() That clown otter is called Osha-what now? To me it's still a clown otter until it evolves. |

A poster on another forum I frequent guessed Oshawott comes from ocean, water and otter. On the same forum, people talked about wanting Tepig's name to be Pignite. Quite good, and with two more stages it's still a possibility... |

I dont really like Oshawott's name... it makes me dislike Mijumaru even more... I think Snivy is pretty good. Definitely sounds better than Oshawott.... Tepig isn't a bad name either. Yeah i've seen some people call the Tepig evos Pignite as well. And it does sound good. |

Anyone know if the Pokémon at the top of your party follows you around like it did in Heart Gold and Soul Silver? Because, y'know, that was pretty cool. Also, you can battle Cynthia in game as well. For some reason. |

I don't know about this... but I'm pretty sure this link has all the english names. http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/7926/g5english.jpg I think they are real, especially when I looked at that, Kurumiru's real name, Sewaddle, wasn't released yet. And that was up before that. I'm not sure... But Psyduck was right with Pignite as the evolved forms name. Chaoboo is Pignite. |

Those are still not fully confirmed, though there are names on there that have been officially confirmed, and it is believed that they will be the names, but no one will actually know until the games come out. |

Yeah, I've seen that list before, on another forum. I got the name Pignite from that same forum, though long before that list was seen. Indeed, it's not confirmed, but the names that have come since then match up. But we'll know at least a few days before release. We'll probably get the full list for the March news thread. |
